Name: Archie van Zant
Age: Turns 20 this year
Gender: Male
Personality: At first glance, Archie is a disciplinarian meathead who thinks about little more than the rules and how to punish those who break them. At first glance, he's blindly devoted to serving the Chair and go to no ends to make sure their will is done. There's more to it than that, though. While strongly rooted in the importance of keeping others in line, Archie's devotion isn't to the
position of the Chair so much as it is to the person that just so happens to be in that position.
It's not a matter of that the Chair is in charge and he'll follow them to the death. It's more like the current Chair was responsible for him ascending to his lofty standing, and he feels a personal sense of debt for that. Even though he's among the Elite Four, he still strives to be the best. And he strives to make others the best too. Even if he has to break bones, destroy limbs, and even almost kill to do it. Don't break the rules, and don't hold anything back. That's Archie's way of life.
Bio: Archie wasn't always a lofty elite. He actually ascended from the standing of having no Battle Chip at all, though people who didn't know him before his rise would probably never guess. For the majority of his life, Archie was devoted to one goal and one goal only. Be the best; prove his superiority above all others. The easiest way to do that in Gunryo City? Fight. By the time he was enrolled in Gunryo Academy (after having been held back a couple of years due to so many fights) Archie was a pretty beefy fellow. Not the guy you'd want to take a hit from. This was the prime time to become the best. And to help ensure he could fight and beat everybody in Gunryo, Archie started the school's one and only Fight Club.
Over the course of a single school year, the successful activities of Archie and his Fight Club landed him Battle Chips in Levels F, D, C, B, A, and just as his second school year started, S. It was shortly after receiving an S-Level Chip that the current Chair proposed to help him push a step further. Become one of the Elite Four - the most powerful students who acted as the Chair's stand-in voice, eyes, and ears - and he would be given power beyond his imagination. Naturally, a fighter like Archie accepted. On that day, he cast aside a dual-type S-Level Chip, and in exchange was gifted the formidable Atlas Fist. He was now capable of incredible strength, but what to do with it? Before long, Archie took to becoming the iron discipline of Gunryo Academy, enforcing its rules and conduct with the strength of his Battle Chip.
It didn't take long before word spread. Fast-forward one more year, and Archie stands where he does today. Still reigning as president of the Fight Club - his second-most important task aside from being an Elite Four - the bulky brawler will make sure students in school and rebels in town get the message. Gunryo Academy, and the city's Chair, will stand strong no matter how much force is used. Even if he has to unleash his own unspeakable physical force to do it.
Grade: Third-Year
Battle Chip: S-Level Battle Chip
Atlas FistAs an S-Level Chip purely devoted to the enhancement of physical strength, Atlas Fist is effectively the most powerful physical strength-enhancing Battle Chip. Even simple actions such as opening a door can destroy the item in question, and the exact limit of the strength Atlas Fist provides is currently unknown. It's proven to be easily able to overcome any obstacle by simply smashing through it, as well as being able to block most physical attacks through sheer muscle density.
Anything Else: He even comes with a theme song!Archie isn't actually a very big guy. In fact, he's actually a bit on the short side, but compensates in an overwhelming presence that makes him seem much larger than he really is.
