Ya, fish and salt for stone and art. the trade routes i posted a little back wont work well until Qinniy Empire finishes that canal.

We aren't taking it, just forcing them past the mountains so if they try to reclaim the river, they would have to cross the mountains.

Also, that canal would take AT LEAST two decades to complete. We're looking in the neighbourhood of a year and a half real life time.

We want the river to make trade easier and we're not going to take over or destroy them, we'll just force them to sign over the river.

I imagine anyone I have a Strategic Alliance for Defensive Wars would have to come in and help. Or at the very least I'd have a good claim on having them supposed to come in on my side. GREAT. We're starting a Chain War in the 1500s! This is exactly how WWI got started!!!

Also, since Myraratur and I are very close allies, in any conflict that involves them while I have a Strategic Alliance with them, would I be the one that NPCs the majority of their troops?

It was decided between he and I before he left, because we figured the two trade nations could be very powerful when they work together.
