Basically if me and Titanic won the war, we would force them into a treaty very similar to the one that Rome gave Carthage after the second Punic war, which would mean that they can't raise a military force and we can travel through their territory as much as we want.

Tempting but I wouldn't want the risk of them using military force against us, and we are already going to have them pay for the war if we win. So I think it's best to just destroy their military and outlaw it. A nation without an army is no true threat.

Not exactly, the war me and Titanic would start is just to make trade between us easier.

But why not try diplomacy first instead of just invading? Or did you talk to the guy running the republic before he left?

EDIT: And is there a reason you can't just trade with the Republic? Because I'm pretty sure the merchants there trade with the United Islands and Eranor, so goods would still be getting from place to place.

Gonna work on the high council meeting post

I'm not trying to sound greedy but I kinda want to control the trade between the north and the east. Also I was planning on sailing to eranor and myraratur republic wouldn't let me build a canal to do that.

Edit: I might decide to war myraratur republic later on, NOT FOR LAND ONLY. I will kinda have too, I was planning on expanding into the north and eastern coast of the bay but they got taken and the south coast isn't that big. My reason for expanding is, smallest nation-large population.

Edit: @whoever owns oswaria, could I ever buy the land below the mountains from you?

I'm going to try and figure out how the distance between the bay and the river.

Did you notice that there is a river on the border of the myraratur republic? Because it leads from your territory to the ocean that is right below my nation, and if we control it then we can easily trade with each other.

I changed the location of my nation according to the map, added another unit in the military and I also added another character in the "People of Importance" section.

The river actually stops short of the bay so there's a little piece of land between the bay and river. I asked to build a canal and connect the bay and river but whoever owned myraratur republic last said no.

Did you threaten military action? Threatening to invade someone for something can oftentimes work too you know, especially if they know you have allies.

EDIT: Unless you want to make a surprise attack.

But that brings up the question of who's going to play the Myraratur Republic during the war?
