it had been five long years since the damage from the last major vampire attack. There hadn't been another one since, thanks to the treaty formed by Pakuna, and (and I have forgotten her name).

During that first year, happy news had prospered. Ceyliegh, having offered to surragate for her parents, had successfully given birth. Other she-wolves of the pack, such as Lily had also given birth, to a boy. And Cassie, with no difficuties that time, had birthed a girl. The children are now four.

Homes had been rebuilt, lives restored, and peae ruled. But for how long?
