I just thought of something. If the police did a THOROUGH investigation at the Spit, they would have learned not only about Deon as the fighter that night, but also of Vander, Mason and James. I wouldn't put it past the twins' father though that once he realized that his boys were wanted for questioning, he would pay a ridiculous amount of money to make the entire case just go away.

So, for interest's sake...I came up with the concept of Vander's dream yesterday evening, and was tweaking it in my head for a good part of the evening. So, of course, when I went to sleep myself, I managed to roll over in a way that completely cut off circulation to my left arm.

Woke up at about 5:30am with absolutely no feeling in my arm. I woke up, after thinking about writing a character to believe they had no hands, and felt like I had no arm myself. You can imagine how confused my brain was for a moment. XD

I have those mind-fuck moments. One time, I wasn't feeling well so I took a nap and woke up around 7:00pm and I had convinced myself it was 7:00am. I don't even know how.

Definitely had that a few weeks ago, Ghost. I woke up on my couch at 6:30pm, and couldn't understand why the hell I could hear my family upstairs making noise at such an ungodly early hour. XD
