Well guys, I may turn in a bit early tonight. I didn't sleep for shit last night so I need to catch my Zs tonight. Fortunately my school schedule is intensely flexible so I'll be checking in quite extensively in the morning. Good night!

Alright. Before I go, my sister finished her complete character analysis. Note Slint's character is missing: this is simply because she hasn't posted much of him yet. Anyways, Here it is.

Deon: I can honestly say I hate this character. I just think he’s immature. I hate immaturity in a character. There are many reasons why, but one of the main ones is that it hides any good traits a character might have though I can’t see any at all in Deon. I think he’s selfish and possessive, and I mean in the worst possible definition. I can’t say how much I want Sektor to beat him and throw him in a hole so he can die. I hate all his traits and just his attitude. I hate that he’ll do anything no matter how low it may be; but for me that shows he’s reckless. I think that adds more character to him.

 

James: I love James’ character. I like how his attitude changed towards Vander; I think that showed a sense of realism in the RP. I like how he cares so much for this girl he barely even knows. I like the way he goes about things, he can get a bit wild, but he knows where to draw the line. I love how it’s written and just the character in the simplest form. I think there are so many facts about him that makes the way he acts stand out more. Who would’ve though the rich never had to lift a finger man would end up with a drug addict? I think it’s incredible and I think the writing is absolutely marvelous.

 

Kate: I think Kate is a very intelligent young woman. I think she’s mature, but still shows she’s young at the same time. I think she’s hilarious, but it isn’t the only aspect about her. I like that she shows the worry and the emotions. I love her relationship with Sektor (even though I don’t ship it, although I do ship Vander and James and Kate and Jack, but that’s a whole other story) I love how she’s so awkward around people but can talk to the robots just fine. I absolutely loved it when Sektor woke her up and she was saying how she didn’t forget about him. It was so hilarious.

 

Mason: Mason’s character is certainly different. I like the character; but it didn’t start out that way. When I first started reading I didn’t like him one bit. I thought he was immature and just a daft idiot. When I read the part after James told her to leave and Mason had her stay, I gained a new respect for him. It isn’t something you would picture the ‘bad boy’ type like Mason doing. I do see a certain charm in him that I like. I love how it shows the fame and fortune doesn’t mean you’re gonna have a clean life, and I love that realism in the RP.

 

Sektor: Where to begin with Sektor? Well, his awkwardness is amazing. I love how he’ll say the most inappropriate things but it’s automatically funny because he’s a robot. I think the fact he’s learning from the humans and starting to act like them is cool but eerie at the same time. It’s almost scary thinking about it. But the character holds so much humor and the words he uses are just beautifully written. But the embarrassing factor like the awkward factor is golden. I still think about when he killed Dr. Mars and Dr. Clark because it was all so interesting. This robot killing these people and managing to escape and find Kate, I just love it.

Vander: Also possibly my favorite, it’s between her and Jack, but this character has so many traits and things about her I can’t help but love. She’s mysterious and cautious and strong yet week. She is slowing breaking down, but she still is going and making a life and actually having people close to her whom she cares deeply about. There are so many different factors I love about her. She’s a drug addict and that controls her life, but she still tries to do some things. I love how she’s still a person, and she may be young but she understands some things about life and she just deals with it. I love how she may be a drug addict, but she still cares for everyone. She is still a person with a personality. There’s another side to her, and that makes the character just stand out. Her style is another cool thing. She’s different and she wants to show it. I love the edge it gives her, and I love the fact she wears her father’s jacket; that gives her that sentimental side that adds more to her character that makes her stand out more.

Jack: Jack Roman; possibly my favorite character (sorry Sektor) I love how he’s serious yet funny and that humor has a certain side to it that makes it different than a normal haha funny. I love his past, it gives him mystery. It gives something different and almost shady about him. He’s got some of the best quotes I’ve read. I love the fact he is burdened with PTSD, it adds another layer to his personality. The fact he’s got the robotic arms and that they’re being rejected by his body is incredible. I think that is just extremely genius because of the fact it’s creating more to him then an average detective.

Curious on the "quotes" she's talking about. Like most characters I make I just wing it most of the time so I really wasn't prepping my story to have quotes... you've got my head tilted on that one. :) I love balancing my characters out somehow. I love making "glass cannons"
