Not my fault you spent more time on your weapon then your PC, but Kestrel is the GM of this rp. :P What he says goes but I'm sure you can adapt, you've never failed yet.

Well, less barrels paved the way for a bigger barrel.

Meh, depending on what you go with, if it's Rook, or Knight, then I suggest a melee weapon to switch to. If you're going Bishop, make the spells simple. Kest will do the rest, namely in helping balancing them out and what not.

But why take a melee weapon when you have an Icethrower instead?
And spells are no match for heavy ordnance!

Hahaha, you'll see. Make sure you read the OP thoroughly as most things are determined on stats and I hate to tell you, some of our Bishops pack a hell of a punch.

Lesse, I got an incendiary 30mm autocannon, an electric grenade machinegun, and an icethrower so far. I'm not scared, espescially since I took 2 levels in shield at least.

Retribution: A terrifying weapon, Retribution is a beast the likes of which is rarely seen. Meridia refers to it as an 'autocannon' however. This monstrosity fires 30mm rounds at a terrifying rate of fire for a gun of it's size. The weapon is so huge in fact that it cannot be fired full auto without 'deploying' and bracing it, a process which takes roughly fen seconds and limits the firing arc to 180 degrees horizontally and 90 degrees vertically. The weapon consist of a large body, a meter long barrel two-part barrel with recoil compensator and muzzel brake, two large metal shields to provide cover, and a handle on the top for carrying it when it isn't set up. The weapon also consist of a large backpack that contains and feeds it's ammunition, which further restricts it's wielders movement.

Alright, this is kinda why I don't want automatic weapons. Taking for example some of the other ranged weapons in consideration, we have bows or spears or primitive guns. While I could've gone with something like a mounted crossbow with a makeshift shield, the spraying ability makes it either far too powerful, or well... No time to deploy. It's either OP or useless, depending on the situation.

Also, all weapons are summon-able at will also and effectively have infinite ammo, so the weight penalty doesn't work out.

Activated ability: Hellstorm. Triple the weapons fire-rate for a short time whilst giving the weapon incendiary effect. CD: 10

That's basically a 3x AGI multiplier. While there's no consistent rule on this, raw power-ups are on average 1.25 multipliers, or 1.5 with some hefty drawbacks.

Mercy: Meridia describes this weapon as a 'Grenade Machinegun.' This weapon consists of a large body, with a 2 foot long smooth bore tube. It is fed by a double drum magazine loaded with the aforementioned grenades, and, like Retribution, is carried in a similar manner to a chainsaw when not deployed. Also like retribution, it must be deployed for maximum effectiveness. Unlike retribution, the weapon has negligible recoil, and it's ammunition has a heavy explosive effect. Unfortunately, the grenades have a much steeper drop and may fail to detonate, limiting the weapons range.

This one is better balanced, assuming a limited rate of fire, but remember the power as a rook is determined by your POW stat.

Activated ability: Thunderstorm: Doubles the blast radius (10 feet to 20 feet) and applies an electric effect to the ammo. CD: 10

How do you apply electric effects to explosions? Also does that mean a power boost of some sort?

Justice: This weapon is unique in that it isn't as large as the other two. Meridia calls this a 'Cryogun.' This weapon does however require a backpack mounted fuel tank similar to Retribution however. This weapon fires a stream of liquid nitrogen, which freezes most things on contact and generally chilling most targets to death. A cruel way to die indeed. It fires the stream in basically a narrow cone of fluid, and as a pressurized fluid gun, it has a fairly short range. The weapon may also be used equally well on the move, and doesn't require a set up.

This would work, but remember the power as a rook is determined by your POW stat.

Activated Ability: Hailstorm: Doubles range and width of the stream, while also adding razor-sharp shards of solid ice into the mix. CD: 10

Whelp, you know the drill on actives by now. See if you can nerf it a bit to be more like the accepted characters' their actives in powers. There's a link in the OP to the character thread for reference.

Well, the weight penalty means he can't move very quickly with it. But, I can see I can't have what I want (extreme fire rates), So I'll just withdraw.

Well, the highest rate of fire someone can get is from a repeater crossbow, so that might make a good compromise.
Otherwise, bye.

Oh no. The horror. Whatever will we do without captain autocannon machinegun. It's almost as if someone didn't read that this is a Victoria-era RP.

Oh well.

Good luck in your future endeavours, hope you find a 40K RP though, definitely has you covered in autocannons.

Well, you did say spirits could be anything so he just assumed anything would be okay. You didn't tell him the power-levels involved (although I think it's explained in the OP).

I understand the suggestion, but there's two issues with that;

1.) Alpha mentioned it and I confirmed it, which happened before the submission of his CS.
2.) The character sheet thread.

Do you not know what a repeating crossbow is? It's literally the forefather to guns with ammo clips.

Thanks. I just don't want to fight and argue and piss everyone off for something I can't have. I am an all or nothing guy, I don't usually compromise. I used to get angry and basically throw tantrums about it, but now I simply go away or stop trying if it might come to that. see ya.

I did tell him to read the OP carefully and what not, to be honest I didn't expect him to try to join when I showed off Kestrel's achievement section. :/ Maybe I should be a little more careful about doing that but the good thing, I did help Rtron a bit with his CS. He just has to get it done and post it... *teases*

@Free, I don't know, I got you to comprise for Blood at least once with Grey so that's not completely true. Though there was a few rough patches.
