I always assumed a negative response to the fairy type would be because of all the fairy type designs, not just the name or weird strategy issue.

I love Fairy types. I love the idea that cutesey fairies can beat monstrous dragons. 8D

I have a Mono-Fairy team in my game. It works ok, but I'm still working things out.

Hmph... I didn't mind the idea of a type that could overpower dragons getting introduced, but, fairy type seems the wrong way to go about it to me. I guess it works as a balance, but, I don't like the pokemon in it, or its name or matchups. Its whatever though. It's just another type to crush under my heel with my own power. I never used dragons, but I did like them. If anything, fairy just gave me more reason for my current picks.
