[OOC] All-Star Marvel: Age of Heroes

You're clearly only interested in the character because of Agents of SHIELD. What's to say you won't drop him in a couple weeks after you get bored like you usually do?

I'm not going to read all of the ooc, so here is a list of characters i'm interested in reimagining. I'd like some input on which idea is best

Hulk- Banner is always on the run trying to find a cure, becoming dark and brooding. Hulk is both strong and smart, but his speech has become essentially one word sentences (Smash, leave alone, ect)
Galactus- now an amnesiac human, he is really the World Eater trapped in a human body forced to learn more about life. He has the power to disintegrate everything he touches and transmute the energy into a longer lifespan
Ultron- he starts out human, slowly becoming more machine-like while his personal and love life gradually worsens, taking him down the path of his 616 self
Night Thrasher- think Marvel's Kick Ass

Go for what ever. It would probably be harder to convince me on your Galactus idea, but it all depends on how you sell it. All very interesting ideas.

1) Not sure your description for your Hulk is a reimagining... sounds the same to me.

2) Kick-Ass is, technically, a Marvel character, already.

3) Did you forget you already applied and were accepted for Ghost Rider two months ago?

I applied but he was put on pending, I had some ideas for a story but they were more short term ones, and im not well versed enough in Ghost Rider lore

EE accepted that app shortly after it was posted; you've been on the roster for two months. Though, technically, given your disappearance and the rules, your Ghost Rider probably should have been taken off.

Anyways, I've been unable to secure any computer time the past few weeks. Now that someone else has posted in the IC, though, I'll get another Spidey up as soon as I get ahold of a computer.

I'm apologizing because faith will play a heavy hand, from different religions to the apocalypse.

As long as you remain respectful of people of religious faith in your handling of these 'characters'(is that the PC word that I should be using here?) I can't see any problem. Like Rade said, I did accept you and have been holding out for a post from you but I'm going to chalk that up to the overall slow start we have endured and am more than happy to review your app.

So, with that said, I like Eddie Brock but Spidey seems too early to have Venom right off the bat. Is Frank Castle available? And finally help would be appreciated.

You're also assuming I intend for Brock to be Venom.

If you do get accepted as Frank, Byrd would have to remove his former Punisher posts as they obviously wouldn't mesh with any new app.

Ah, my bad. But why wouldn't you want Eddie(sorry, I prefer to refer to characters by their real first names; Eg. Bruce for Bats, Thomas for Owlman, Wally for Flash III, etc.) to be Venom?

There's more to Brock than an obsessively sinister symbiote. Why relegate a character to a stereotypical role simply because it's what's always done when there are other aspects and avenues to explore?

Personally I always liked Brock as Anti-Venom and Flash Thompson as Agent Venom. Just my two cents :p
