Like any other young man, Ian wants to live for himself: a simple wish. But, a dangerous lifestyle and a complicated family situation have been persistent obstacles. After a fortuitous turn of events, he's already well on his way to overcoming it. But freedom comes at a price, and old habits die hard as Ian struggles to change and improve. A heavy dose of indoctrinated pessimism and a lot of family baggage continues to breed shadows of doubt. Right now, his biggest obstacle is himself.
