Dragon/Human So, a human goes hunting/fishing / doing whatever. Suddenly the human hears a loud roar of a creature that she has never heard before. The roar is too strong/loud to be anything like a lion, tiger, etc. and the roar holds a reptilian sound to it. The human goes to explore and finds a dragon. Soon after that, she learns that the dragon is in fact the Dragon King. She has to help him learn that humans are not evil, and help stop the dragon civil war, making sure the king wins other wise all humans will die

I am going to leave this quote here just so I can have a quick frame of reference for the original idea.

So you would like to play the Dragon King yes? If I understood your idea labeling correctly. So I can make the original human. I think I might start making some regular NPC's just to flesh out the village a little- characters we could both use depending on the scene.

Notable characters that come to mind: Enemy Dragons, specifically the Dragon or Dragon's that are competing for the Dragon King's position. Human Kingdom officials- King, Queen etc might be fun to add the third party interference from here. You mentioned you wanted a lot more fantasy creatures so we can make some of those up- Maybe the human and dragon King will have to visit each of these "Monster" tribes in order to gain support for their own faction...

@EurmalEye Yeah my original idea is basically, The Dragon King's sister despised humans, while the Dragon King tolerated them, but never wanted to wipe them from existence. So his sister decided to kill him, take the throne and do it herself.

There was also the Phoenix Queen that went to war against the Dragon King for centuries, but she kept coming back to live, so eventually he sealed her inside a magic jar.

There was also a prophecy that the Royal Ancient Dragon Prince would save the world. The Ancient Dragons were supposed to be the very first dragons.

In the original, the human and the Dragon King had children which were hybrids.

However, it won't all be the same, it never is and that is what makes it fun. Magic will be the same here as in the academy Rp too. I have also got a bunch of over ideas to add in.

One more thing. In the original, the Phoenix Queen wanted to kill the Dragon King so she could open the gate to the world of mythical creatures, allowing every single mythical creature in existence out. However, the Dragon King feared that this would cause an eternal war among mythical creatures, and cause the extinction of humans.

@The One That is an extremely interesting motivation for the Phoenix Queen- one because its seems as though the mythical humans that live amongst humans in this age were not always there. It may not be an evil motivation at all as well. To release her kind into this world may be more akin to refugees seeking shelter than anything else rather than any type of malevolence. While she may not particularly care about human life her course of action could change that balance. That's what the Dragon King is worried about is it not? Hmm that is a rather interesting motivation. Hmm okay I might start creating some CS's then

@EurmalEye Ok then, note that sure, not all humans have magic, but their magic and powers was gained through evolution. Like, X men for example.

@The One Sure that's actually what I figured. I doubt any of the base town would have any powers- or maybe a few at very low intensity. I am not sure MC Human will have any powers at all actually.

But yeah, it's up to you on whether what humans have powers and such? If you want you can have your character, the main human have no power at all, and not even know about mythical creatures.

Or, you could have your human hear rumours of mythical creatures. It's up to you completely. Whatever you do, it'll be interesting.

@EurmalEye Yeah, Earth. Dragon King and the Human was originally set in earth current day where Mythical Creatures always existed, but just kept in hiding. Well actually,

The phoenix's kept in hiding waiting for their Queen to return. The Jar was originally kept within an ancient temple.

The Dragons kept in hiding near the MC human's village. The King lived in a large cave near the village.
