The reason the C.E.T exists is the gauge whether a student has learned to use their elements and bodies in a way capable of defending themselves from the threats to our peaceful lives.
Some of you might have guessed what the villain is to this RP. The reason we are taught at all.

Corruption.

Not all spirits are peaceful.

Driven insane by the corruption of humans and elementalist practitioners alike, these volatile spirits invade our homeland from beneath in a desperate urge to destroy us all. Your duty is to purge these creatures from the world and return harmony to the spirits.
We do not destroy them with rage in our hearts, we banish them with remorse. But it is an evil that must be done.
