Lily Meadows

Appearance: Coming Soon...

Gender: Female

Age: 10

Personality: She's a sweet and kind girl, willing to drop just about anything if she sees someone needs help. However, that tends to make her a bit headstrong and reckless, often running into danger without knowing the true danger of the situation. She doesn't have a wicked bone in her body, and will only lie if she's trying to protect someone from the truth. She makes fast friends, but stick with her and she's a friend for life.

Hometown/Region: Goldenrod City, Johto

History: Lily grew up in the hustle and bustle of Goldenrod City in the Johto Region. She tended to be a pretty normal child, all except for her looks. She was never picked on, bullied, or messed with at all because of her personality. She made friends with just about everyone at Trainers School. She also loved Pokemon as much as she does nowadays.

Her Mother was a veteran Pokemon Trainer, having even participated in the Johto Silver Conference one year. It was her goal to become a Gym Leader, and finally she got her chance. She received a letter from the Organization of Pokemon Leagues, saying there was an open Gym Leader Position in the Viore Region. Lily had never heard of Viore before that, but her Mother was ecstatic. Of course she talked it over with her dad and her, and both supported her.

Lily's mother left the next day for the Viore Region. For the next few weeks it was just Lily and her Father. When it came time for Lily's tenth Birthday, her mother made a surprise visit and gave her her first Pokemon personally. A Chikorita, bred from her own Meganium. And, she talked with them about having them move out to the Viore Region to live close by. Lily was excited to get to go on her journey in a brand new region to her, and her dad couldn't argue with either of them.

They busted out a For Sale sign, packed up their things, and started the move to Viore. It is at this moment that Lily is on a Plane bound for the Viore Region with her dad, her mother having gone back early to tend to her matters as a Gym Leader.

Brent Ignia

Appearance: Coming Soon...

Gender: Male

Age: 10

Personality: Brent is very straight headed, usually needing proof before he even starts to believe an outlandish claim. He is usually very calm and collected, unless he gets into a heated battle. When in a heated battle, his spirit very much shines through, showing a will to win and a refusal to accept defeat until his Pokemon does. He's a very good friend to have, he'll stick with you through thick and thin.

Hometown/Region: Stormbutte City, Viore

History: Brent was born and raised in Stormbutte City, far in the Northeast of Viore. He lived there with his Mother and Father. His father is an assistant archaeologist for Professor Maple in New Amber Town, and his mother is the Head Engineer at the Viore Power Plant located in Stormbutte.

As a kid he loved to hear the legends of Viore's past, of the Great King who brought peace, and the ten heroes who put an end to the evil reign of his son. As he grew, however, he began to discount many of these as there was no solid proof. Yes, they sounded amazing, but how do we know that's what actually happened?

Brent also had a brother, Ryan. He was traveling through the Johto Region learning to become an Expert Breeder. He would stop by in Viore from time to time, but eventually head back on the road. When Brent's tenth birthday came around, Ryan gave him a present: A Pokemon Egg.

Brent cared for the egg day in and day out. After a few days of said care, the egg finally hatched. It was a Cyndaquil, bred from his brothers own Typhlosion. That Cyndaquil would become his partner for life. Soon, when his father had to head to New Amber to prepare for a new expedition with the Professor, Brent went with him to get his Pokedex and begin his own Pokemon Journey.

Leopold Prynce

Appearance:
Leopold has semi-long black hair that he keeps in good condition with just the right amount of shine, his skin is a nice olive tone and he wears a nice array of greens, dark grays and light blues. He stands about 5'10 and is a fairly skinny, but not emaciated fellow. He wishes he could grow a bear but his facial hair is just too sparse to warrant it.

Gender: Male

Age: 20

Personality: Leopold, despite his upbringing, is far from the selfish, pretentious person he so easily could be, he's more focused on everything but himself it's incredible. Leopold has a knack for finding beauty in everything, and when he can't he does his best to create it where there is none, going so far as to spend thousands of Pokeyen to do so. His optimism blinds his reality, more often then not being the reason he misses small details and focuses on purely big picture ideas. His mind is always in the here and now, his plans for the future don't account for more than ten minutes from when they're made, and what few plans he does make for the long term eventually get forgotten before completion. Somehow, despite all of this, he has kept determined to be the greatest Coordinator in Hoenn, despite having moved away.

Hometown/Region: Lillycove, Hoenn

History: Born into a family with perfect children, not much weight was put onto the shoulders of a young Leopold. His older brother had already gotten 8 gym badges by the time Leopold met Shuppet, and his older sister had gone away to university studying fashion with internships already lined up. His already rich parents had no worries left by the time he started training and simply allowed him to do his own thing. Leo tried his hand at battling, but couldn't bare to see his shuppet get hurt the way she did, and refused to live that life, but he still sought the fame of being a high level trainer.
He searched other areas, trying out for a school musical and landing a role on stage crew, due to his lack of acting and singing ability, but it was here that he found his true calling. He watched the rehearsals on the set he helped build and noticed one of the leads was a bit off in timing and met up with her after the show to let her know, she scoffed and told the directer he was being a creep. Discouraging, yes, but the voice in the back of his head demanded he bring it up with her, or the director again. And that he did, he actually had a complaint about nearly every cast member and the director of the show brushed him off until the next rehearsal where every flaw pointed out by Leo was now clearly visible. The boy had an eye for directing and the director let him know this, letting him co-direct the play and even getting his first credit on his professional career!
After opening night of the show, a woman approached the young Leopold and told him she thought he would make a fine coordinator and he scoffed, coordinators weren't a cool thing for a middle school boy to be, and with his lack of battling he was already one of the least manly students in his class. But the woman insisted, even telling him of the next contest in town and to mention her name for a free ticket in. Leo hesitated but ended up going, upon mentioning the woman's name he was even brought backstage by the contest hall staff to watch up close and personal as the coordinators did their thing and he fell in love. He ended up entering a contest the next week, losing miserably. But he finally had direction in his life. His older siblings helped out along the way too, his sister making his clothes and even clothing for his pokemon and his brother got him a Petalil from his adventures afar, promising that it would win him something someday. He and his Banette would go on to win the Hyper rank in cleverness and his Lilligant would take home a super in beauty before his parents and him moved to Longsand Island in the Viore region. He had to make an all new start and was ready to take the contest scene there by storm, especially with his newest partner, Noibat. Oh, and yes, over the years he has learned how to act well enough to act as the lead in a few plays, but his singing could still use some work.

Pokemon

Legendary Guardian:

Other: Sometimes doesn't eat for entire days because he forgets
Can make the greatest pokeblocks, but fails at making spaghetti for people
Struggles at using a pokemon's cuteness to their advantage, which is why he's never entered that type of contest
Despises battling but can do it if he needs to

Devon Lyton

Gender: Male

Age: 16

Personality: Devon is a 5'6", outgoing teen who is very social between small groups, but cannot handle being the centre of attention in a large crowd. He’s quick to make friends, mostly leaning towards those with the same light hearted attitude as him. Though he can adapt to others of a different mindset with little time. Devon is patient, but does have his limits for things like long journeys with no excitement or stubborn people or Pokémon. His temper may seem almost non-existent, but do not be fooled. He is relatively good at hiding anger thanks to him seeing his fathers stern expression not change for sixteen years. That has been helpful in many situations such as dealing with childhood bullies. He may seem distant at first, but he does feel a sense of purpose to help others. Going out of his way to do so. He is competitive, taking offence to challenges and accepting them with little thought in the moment that sometimes lead him to misfortune. Due to being around others for most of his life, Devon is also bothered by being alone for long periods of time.

Hometown/Region: Hearthome City, Sinnoh/Goldenrod City, Johto

History: As a child, Devon's life was...Adventurous? If you count getting beat up by many wild Pokémon due to misunderstandings as having adventures. Young Devon was always interested in Pokémon, and thought the best way to interact with them would be to befriend wilds near his home towns. His naive way of making friends via butting into the personal space of wild Pokémon angered most he came across. Thus leading to many painful injuries, and frequent hospital visits. These unfortunate events did not daunt Devon however. He continued to attempt making friends with Pokémon and eventually succeeded. Making friends with a female Starly outside of Hearthome that he named: 'Flappers'. Thought childhood the boy played with the bird for years until they grew apart due to conflicting goals. Devon became interested in becoming a Trainer, and Flappers wanted a family of her own in the wild. The two parted ways when Devon was nine years old and have yet to encounter each other again.

When Devon turned ten years old, he received a Mareep from his mother as a birthday present. Little Devon was overjoyed to finally have a Pokémon to call his own, and named the small sheep Shock in honor of it's Electric-typing. However, Shock was quite the handful at first. All of his discipline training gone as he soon realized that his mother and breeder weren't there to scold him for his bad behaviour. The Pokémon ran rampant around his Trainer, destroying furniture, making messes, and generally being a pain in the butt. Devon wasn't one to yield for a challenge, and disciplined Shock by himself for two solid years. When the boy turned thirteen and Shock turned three, the two were inseparable friends. Shock's final evolution into an Ampharos after a year of being a Flaaffy also sparked a new goal for the Pokémon. He decided he wanted to challenge Gym leaders with Devon agreeing right on the spot. The duo challenged the Pastoria Gym and after a tough battle with Crasher Wake, they claimed the Fen Badge. With new found confidence, Devon was determined to continue battling Gym's in both Johto and Sinnoh as a hobby.

Year's have passed since those days and the boy has grown. Obtained many new friends and allies. Devon is now a happy sixteen year old Trainer, still travelling Sinnoh and Johto in pursuit of adventure with his beloved Pokémon team mates.

  • Has many scars and blemishes due to wild Pokémon incidents that are hidden by his clothing

Amber Kree

N A M E:
Amber Devon Kree

A P P E A R A N C E:
Standing at five foot seven and constantly clad in her uniform, Amber maintains a commanding presence wherever she goes. Her long blonde hair is almost always topped with a dark cap bearing the Unova police department's emblem. Light blue eyes regard strangers and odd places with a suspicious but, nevertheless, curious glint. Her training under the Unova police department has given her a rather formidable athletic build and she's able to handle most tasks that require speed and strength. Her standard issue belt contains her Pokeballs and a flashlight, which she keeps powered with a number of batteries she carries around.

G E N D E R:
Female (she/her)

A G E:
17

P E R S O N A L I T Y:
Amber is a no nonsense kind of person. She's focused, determined, and serious, especially when it comes to doing her job. There's not much one would get from her in terms of conversation aside from a few uninterested grunts or swiftly thrown out questions, and this becomes a hindrance for her when attempting to form relationships with other people. She knows this is a flaw she must address if she wishes to be fully efficient in her work, but years of either living alone or focusing her time on training has made her social interactions rather scarce.

Despite her awkwardness with speaking to others, Amber remains fiercely loyal to the few people she's formed a connection with. Her naturally curious disposition and suspicious nature makes sure that she and the people around her are safe while she constantly discovers new things. She's also not scared to try new things, especially not when it works to help her cause in the end. Her devotion to her work, and keeping the peace and order in the world is unmatched.

H O M E T O W N:
Castelia City, Unova

H I S T O R Y:
Despite the lavish lives some of its citizens lived, Castelia City can be a harsh place especially for a young street rat living off of the scraps thrown in alleyway dumpsters. During the first few years of her life, Amber was nothing more than a starving kid running around sewer tunnels and befriending the wild Pokemon that call them home in hopes that they can scrounge up a few scraps for her. When the worse came, Amber began to resort to petty thievery, using what knowledge she has of the city to con tourists out of their cash.

This continued for almost a year until the city's police department received complaint after complaint and they knew they had to do something about it. They tasked Police Officer Matthias Kree to track down the filthy scum that's ruining their beloved city and so he did. It didn't take long for him to find Amber, desperate as she was, who fell for his trap almost immediately. Rather than punishing her for what she did, Matthias saw something in her and gave her a chance. He took her under his wing and trained her to follow in his footsteps.

For years, Amber wished for nothing more than to prove to Matthias that he was right about her and that she could be better than how she was before. She trained with fierce determination, spending countless hours doing laps around the city, and studied page after page about the laws put to keep the people safe. Despite having trained intensively in the physical and mental aspects of working with the police force, her experience working with Pokemon was nigh non-existent. While she'd been given chance after chance of training a Pokemon of her own, her social awkwardness seemed to extend to making connections with Pokemon as well. She never worked well with any of the Pokemon lent to her, and eventually, they gave up trying. This dilemma had been the hindrance for her lack of promotion, thus keeping her ranked as a recruit.

Matthias would not have his prodigy fail after all the progress they'd received. When his precious Serperior had an egg, he entrusted it to Amber with dire instructions that she should care for it. Her doubts on her abilities aside, she took on the duty and promised that she would do all that she could. Unfortunately, training the Snivy that hatched from the egg was proving difficult while she maintained her job. She was given a leave and handed a boat ticket to the Viore Region, where Matthias thought she could receive the full trainer experience in a place completely unknown to her.

Celes Elwyn

This small girl stands at 4'7" and weighs just shy of 80 lbs. Her eyes are a bright lilac, and her hair a peachy-sort of brown. Thin, with a light complexion, she's almost always found with a joyous expression.

Gender: Female

Age: 14

Personality: Celes is an optimistic child, who in her mind is loved by everyone she meets. Wherever she goes, childish whimsy will follow. Despite her overly joyous demeanor, there are many things that can dampen her spirits, or hurt her feelings. With that said, she's filled with determination to accomplish anything she sets her sights on.

Hometown/Region: Blackthorn City, Johto

History: No one quite knows where Celes came from; many say she was simply found in the Dragon's Den one day.

...of course, Celes doesn't understand why the adults make up stories about her. The truth of the matter is this; Celes was found drowning at sea after her parents' small sail boat sank during an unexpected storm near the Whirl Islands. Being saved by a Dragonite, Ranulf, she was brought to Blackthorn City to live among the dragons.

Though the small girl was invited to live in the city proper, she refused as she stated she had no one left but the Dragonites she had come to befriend. With the insistence of her savior, she was allowed to stay within the den.

When she finally came of age, she decided it was time for her to explore the world, and make a name for herself. A Dratini by the name of Mist decided she wished to accompany her. Ranulf refused her, saying the world was far too dangerous, however eventually Celes managed to convince him to come with.

Ranulf is not officially her Pokémon, and is protected by Blackthorn City (and can't be caught because the power of plot bullshit).

Pokémon

Legendary Guardian: Latias

Other: Celes can understand any Pokémon in Dragonite's evolutionary line. (...so Dratini, Dragonair, Dragonite.)

Professor Pent Faraday

Gender: Male

Age: 28

Hometown: Lumiose City, Kalos

Personality: Pent is insightful and intelligent, motivated by the pursuit of knowledge. Despite traveling with several Pokémon partners, he will go through great lengths to avoid battling; especially wild Pokémon. Though he does not believe in anything unsupported by factual evidence, he does believe that there is always a shred of truth in every story. After all, stories are where memories go when they're forgotten. Though he is a driven man, he is quite friendly and approachable, and will take time to speak with anyone. This is especially true if he is given the opportunity to share his knowledge with others.

Goal: With Viore's rich history—though most of it shrouded in fables—Pent wishes to uncover the secrets of the region's ruins, hopefully gathering enough information to write a proper dissertation to bring back to Lumiose University.

Keystone: Mega Staff

Pokémon:

Other: Pent's staff—unfortunately for him—is not for show. A developmental defect has caused a rod to be placed to align his spine. Both legs suffered severe trauma relatively recently, with the bones suffering a compound spiral fracture in multiple areas, resulting in rods being placed to help his bone repair itself correctly. Healing has not gone quite according to plan, and his weight-bearing capabilities are limited. Though he is able to walk with assistance, it's a far cry from an ideal situation.

Legendary Guardian: No

Nasir the Zoroark

Nasir's true form is a rather normal looking Zoroark, if a bit taller than usual. A beautiful silver chain can be seen around his neck, sparkling black stones embedded within it. Before he was registered to Devon, Nasir masqueraded as a human swordsman for quite some time. Though he will still occasionally take this appearance, he is much more comfortable with his true form when he's in the presence of his Trainer.

When taking on a human guise, his long, black hair is pulled back in a high ponytail, with a few stray bangs framing his features. His eyes are a piercing blue, matching his true form's color. He typically wears a black suit with a long jacket, and a katana by his side. The katana is merely an illusion until he enters combat, in which case the illusion would mask the energy created by Night Slash. As a human, Nasir would appear around 5'10", with an age roughly between 18 and 25 from a glance.

Species: Zoroark
Nature: Lonely
Ability: Illusion
Trainer: Devon Lyton
Hometown/Region: Johto - Route 37/Ecruteak

Moveset:

  • Flamethrower
  • Night Slash
  • Protect
  • Aerial Ace

Personality: Though he might appear cold, Nasir is a rather warm, friendly individual when he opens himself up. That said, he spent a large majority of his life not speaking with humans, and usually stays rather quiet. He has a weakness for children and those in need. This Zoroark is fiercely loyal to those he cares about, and will go to great lengths to both defend their honor and lives. Given how he was accustomed to the role of a caregiver in the past, he does not shy away from scolding his Trainer, or others he feels a close connection to. For better or worse.

Milli Maxi

Appearance:

Gender: Female

Age:16

Personality: Kind, Gentle and Mature. Also very pragmatic and headstrong when needed to be.

Hometown/Region: Saffron City, Kanto (Born In Shinnoh)

History: Born in Eterna City to two gardeners that worked in the Eterna City Gym. Milli was surrounded by Pokemon at a very early age, often being with her parents watching the gym trainers battle as she got older. By the time she was 11, Eterna's new gym leader Gardenia offered Milli a place at the gym to become a Gym trainer. Milli was very excited at this idea and for the next 6 months or so became a grass pokemon trainer which she enjoyed but felt somewhat isolated, as for many gym trainers every day was pretty much a grind to get stronger, which Milli was not mainly focused on. She wanted to travel the world.

After losing a battle to a strong ace trainer who used a powerful Tropius (with the flying type advantage) against her gym appointed grass team she decided to quit the gym, as she didn't feel she was getting any better as trainer. But before leaving the Ace trainer was inspired by her resolve and offered her a pokemon egg which was the offspring of the Tropius that just defeated her. She was again inspired and excited and after returning the gym appointed team she spent all of her time raising her new egg and looking at town and world maps, dreaming about seeing other cities and other regions as she spend her entire life at Eterna.

Her wish for adventure was granted after her Tropius hatched and she was able to fly to other shinnoh regions, using her gym experince to train and battle pokemon well and even catch a Ponyta, and fish for a Shellder! But the shinnoh reigon was simply one part of her plan, she boarded the SS Anne to Kanto and even managed to win a few gym badges across the two reigons, before settling in Saffron City which she now calls home, now at 16 she finds herself wanting to travel again. Finding the greatest joy in going somewhere shes never been.

Legendary Guardian:

Other: In Kanto and Shinnoh Milli has obtained 5 badges: Coal and Fin Badge from Shinnoh and the Thunder, Marsh and Volcano badges from Kanto.

Monday Mallory

Appearance:

Standing at 5'7" and weighing in at 197 pounds, Monday is unusually tall and muscular for her age. She tends to wear loose, warm-weather clothing, all in colors typical of ghost-types. Her hair is a dark greyish-blue that falls just below shoulder-length, and is very thin and fine. Her eyes are a dark forest green that almost look black, an effect magnified by her thick, dark eyebrows.

Gender: Female

Age: 16

Personality: Monday is a rude, bitter, sarcastic girl. She has a mean streak a mile wide and refuses to rein it in for anyone. Having spent most of her life focusing on coordinating, she knows next to nothing about battling. Her strategy, if you can even call it that, is to keep attacking until someone loses. Usually, it's her.

Despite her angry and cruel exterior, she's really just an attention-seeking child with a huge, unrequited crush on an unobtainable woman. She acts tough, but she's easily moved to tears and hissy fits. She especially hates it when Asystole is hurt, but she doesn't know how to express her concern in a constructive way, and ends up yelling a lot instead.

Hometown/Region: Hearthome, Sinnoh

History:
Monday was born and raised in Hearthome City by her two mothers, Floridia and Holly. As a child, she was captivated by a performance by Fantina in the local contest hall, and thus decided to train under her in the ways of ghost types and contests.

Fast forward ten years. Monday, despite repeated and desperate attempts, hasn’t bagged a single contest win and feels that her teacher is losing interest. In a frustrated, childish bet for attention, she challenges the Hearthome gym... and loses. Humiliated beyond belief, frustrated to the point of tears, Monday steals her parents' emergency funds and gets the hell out of dodge.

After a few months of running around Sinnoh, she's caught by the local police force and brought kicking and screaming back to her mothers. An argument ensues; Holly wants to ground Monday for a year, Floridia wants to let their daughter roam so she can 'grow the hell up.' Hours of back-and forth pass with neither woman giving any ground, but eventually, Holly gets tired of it and concedes. Monday gleefully packs her bags and is off to the Viore region within a month.

On her way, she decides that she'll surpass her mentor no matter what. If she can't win at contests, she'll become Viore's Champion.

Pokemon

Legendary Guardian: N/A

Other:
  • Unrepentantly terrified of bugs and most bug-types.
  • Loves fairy and normal types but refuses to use them.
  • Thinks dragon types (and people who use them) are stupid.
  • Loves ice cream and popsicles.
  • Loves contests but too bitter to watch or join them.

"Jinx"

(Real name unknown)

Gender: Male. Very male.

Age: 21

Personality: Jinx is gonna get his, no matter what. He's in the crime game for two reasons, and two reasons-the fortune and the fame....and perhaps for another, self evident reason, to have fun. Jinx runs on pure adrenaline, and the more dangerous things get, the wider his grin becomes. He's always willing to crack a joke, good or bad, in the middle of a job, or when the police have him "cornered". What's the point of living if you don't have fun with it?

By the same token, what use is all the wealth in the world if you aren't around to enjoy it? Jinx may pretend to be carefree, a floating free spirit with no troubles-but mountain of work goes into his jobs and he almost always has some escape routes in his back pocket. Failing that, he'll ruthlessly battle his way out, heedless of the cost to anyone but himself and his team. Furthermore, he's developed a massive interest in any myths associated with immortality or the possibility thereof-he intends to be around to enjoy his ill gotten wealth forever.

Speaking of his team-there are two types of people in the world, according to Jinx. One of his and one of theirs-he couldn't care less about those on the wrong side of that line, but for folks on his side of it, there's nothing he wouldn't do. You're with him or against him-but if you're with him, the one thing you can always be sure of is he'll take care of you.

Jinx is also flirtatious-sometimes to an extreme. Show him a cute guy on a job, and he'll make sure to throw a wink or two, along with a comment as he makes his grand escape...this also makes a great way to put any would be enemies off their guard. A nice marriage of Jinx's two favorite things-fun and pragmatism. He loves it when a plan comes together!

In short-Jinx is a walking contradiction-he'll down his life for his team, but he'll fight his way through a crowd without a second thought. He'll crack terrible jokes as attacks tear up the wall behind him-but he's spent a dozen sleepless nights just prepping for that job. What you think he is depends on the day you catch him on.

Hometown/Region:Goldenrod City, Johto.

History: Jinx has gone to great expense and great trouble to hide his real name-such as it is. It was a simple flair of pride on his part, for much of his history is known. He was a ward of the state from a young age, and by age ten, he'd ran away from the system entirely, making his living on the streets of Goldenrod city-begging, burrowing and stealing, squatting in old buildings, falling in with the odd gang. It was on these streets that he discovered his true talent-theft, grandiose, audacious, theft. It started as a typical job for a chopshop-break into a car, turn it for some quick dough, and get gone. But he smelled opportunity when one of those expensive foreign jobs pulled up besides the mark. He struck, wrestling with the best, most advanced security features money could buy. And, shockingly, the street urchin triumphed, and pulled into the chopshop with a car worth four times the amount of the mark.

His audacity was rewarded-and at this point he started to consider the possibilities. He watched the more experienced, older thieves go about their jobs. Asked for tips. Begged for advice. Even puppy-dogged eyed one into taking him on one of his jobs. Slowly, he began to learn, at the feet of the criminals of Goldenrod city. It was at this point that he took in two small pokemon-a young Houndour and a freshly hatched Ekans. Even then, the former ward of the state had an...affinity for abandoned things. He raised them as best he could, and more less fell into trainerhood by complete accident. To support himself, and his new charges, he kept at it, taking any job the underworld had-and attracted the notice of a visiting celebrity. One Mrs. Sandiego. A famous thief in her own right.

She took the "bright young man" under her wing, and tended to a part of his mind that the streets of Goldenrod had neglected-that of philosophy. Jinx had stolen to survive, yes. But had he ever considered the reasons he'd had too? The world didn't care for him, for people at the bottom of the ladder-it was a nasty, big place. And there was no changing it. The best you could do was take care of your own, and, perhaps, take a chance on people like you. Help them along as the world never would. But most importantly of all were two crowns, two pillars that one most never forget-life isn't worth living if you aren't having fun, and you had to be around to enjoy your wealth, or it was simply meaningless. Jinx took to these lessons with zeal, and turned against anyone who he hadn't "done right by him". But by far, he held the most contempt for the rich-and for those who enforced "their" laws.

When Jinx turned seventeen, he and Sandiego bid each other a fond farewell-she had little left to teach him, and wanted him to develop on his own, rather then simply become a carbon copy of herself-and Jinx, much as he appreciated Sandiego, much as he'd come to few her almost as a mother, wanted to break off, become a name in his own right. Lavender Town would be the place he made that name-one of the biggest names in Kanto was being laid to rest, alongside one of his pokemon-and the graves sported some very valuable jewels indeed. Alongside the now matured Houndour and Ekans, Jinx planned his grand entrance.

And met an unexpected boon along the way-a bored Ghastly who attached himself to the team-and proved invaluable due to it's instinctive understanding of the great tower where the mark was being laid to rest. The job was a smashing success-not only did he get the jewels, but he had the time to mug for the camera and leave behind a calling card. The news couldn't shut up about "Jinx" for weeks! From that point forwards, the Ghastly became a permanent part of his team-and a partner, of sorts. It enjoyed mugging for the camera's and making and utter spectacle of itself as much as Jinx did. Dodging the police, the manhunts, Jinx took on a job that would, he hoped, seal his infamy in the public eye-a job for the notorious Team Rocket. They needed power cut to Cerulean City for some job or another-and they'd charged him, in return for quite the princely sum, with making sure that cut happened.

He did them one better. Lighting fizzled, blinked, and died across Kanto, for the better part of an hour, darkness reigned. Jinx made sure sure to bow to the security camera's on the way into the power plant-just to make sure everyone knew who'd pulled it off. From there, it was off the races-stealing moonstones from Mt. Moon, fossils from Cinnabar Island, elemental stones from the Celadon City department store (to be sold off on the black market later), some more jobs for Team Rocket....eventually, the heat was too much, and Jinx fled Kanto, and unleashed a reign of crime, specifically larceny against any other region who caught his fancy.

Time sped on-the Houndour became a Houndoom, the Ekans an Arbok, and the Ghastly a Haunter. And Jinx, lured by the possibility of lucrative contracts, and yet more fame to add to his growing reputation, came to Viore.

What shall he do? Steal the ancient crown of a tyrant king? Take a job to steal some data from every Pokemon Center in the region? Another elemental stone job?

Heh. Why not all three?

"Hm... Where should we go next?"

Wye Coldren

Gender
Male

Appearance

Age
19

Hometown
Dracotia Village

Personality
Wye seems like a kind person at first sight, and he is in many ways. However, he is definitely capable of making hard decisions that many might not dare to make. He can become ruthless and cruel for self-preservation or protecting his partners and friends. He tries to be easy to get along with and can even come across a bit goofy at times.

History
Wye had been a trainer for quite some time. While he was young, his family moved away to a faraway region. There, his parents worked as pokemon researchers that focused on long term evolutions of pokemon that took several generations for species to gradually change instead of the metamorphosis they underwent in a matter of moments. At the age of 12, he received a pokemon from his father, Blu. At first, they humored him, letting him be a "field researcher", but as a trainer, he proved to be quite skillful. The region they lived at at the time was made of a series of islands with different variants of the same pokemon on different islands. So as Wye caught a couple of pokemon near their home, his father proposed something to the young trainer.

So he started his journey in that region, conquering the gyms and aiming for pokemon league while catching pokemon to send to his parents to help with their research. After getting eliminated in the top 16, he went on to another region with one pokemon he'd caught, Eddie, and his first partner, Blu.

With his two pokemon, he moved on to the Hoenn region, where he partook in contests instead of doing the gym challenge. For the contests, he worked primarily with two pokemon he'd caught there, a kirlia he named Ellie, and a metagross named Mali. It was there that he learned about mega evolution and got his first Mega Stone and Keystone. With the help of his team, he got a master ribbon for Mali's "cool" appeal, and an ultra ribbon for Ellie's "beauty" appeal. He went back to live with his parents at that point until the age of 17.

After returning to Dracotia Village, he kept Mali there with him for his journey. Near the village, he met with Walden while he was a Gible. They became quick friends. A little over a year later, after a short period of studying, Wye decided to continue his journey. As he left the village, Walden followed him. He only noticed until he reached the next city over, where Walden joined him by his own accord.

Fray was a strange case. This ninja pokemon was following the two around after Walden had an encounter with him and evolved into a Gabite, set on defeatining his rival, the ground dragon. From time to time, he'd attack, but Wye hadn't a clue that the froakie was following them around. During one of their battles, just as Fray was about to lose once again, he grew as well. After a long battle between the two pokemon, they both knocked each other out. In order to make it easier to bring him to the Pokemon Center, Wye placed Fray into a pokeball. Although intent on releasing Fray later on, Wye grew fond to the pokemon.

For the last year, Wye has been travelling around freely with his pokemon, strengthening his bonds with them while looking for interesting places in the world. He aspires to become an expert in pokemon biology as his father was, but his interest is more in mega evolution rather than Darwinian.

Olivier Laine

Golden locks flow down Olivier's shoulders in varying lengths, some portions of it braided off to the side. From first appearances, from his large, feminine eyes, to his delicate features, it's safe to assume that Olivier is a young woman. However, he would be seen wearing a male academy uniform.

Gender: Intersex [Male]

Age: 17

Personality: Olivier suffers from many deep-seeded insecurities, and as such can be emotionally volatile. At his core, he is a genuinely sweet, caring individual who simply craves to be accepted by his peers. He is incredibly competitive, however unless he feels his competency is being challenged, he can keep such feelings in check.

His weakness is cute Pokémon and babies.

Hometown/Region: Anistar City

History: Olivier grew up attending a variety of boarding schools. As soon as he was old enough, his parents shipped him away and never looked back. He attended school in Lumiose City for many years before being accepted into The Kobukan Academy of Advanced Pokémon Arts & Sciences.

Excelling in his studies, he was urged by his teacher to enroll in their field study program, which sent him out to a region of his choosing to train for a few months before returning.

The region of his choosing was of course, Viore. With his Ralts—which was provided by the school for a final project of sorts—he is determined to be the very best.

Pokemon

Other: Olivier has anorchism, a developmental disorder causing him to essentially appear as a prepubescent female. Unlike many with anorchism, Olivier does strongly identify as a male.

Since Olivier had few friends at school, he spent much of his time running battle simulations. As such, he's an incredibly skillful tactician.

Sierra Hymn

Appearance: Coming Soon...

Gender: Female

Age: 11

Personality: Sierra can come off very shy when you first meet her, and even as you get to know her. She can be jumpy at times, and is not the kind of person you want to sneak up on. However, she can come through in a pinch. If one of her friends is in danger, she will lay her life on the line if she has to to protect them. She tends to be this overly compassionate to those close to her, but that just makes her all the more irreplaceable of a friend.

Hometown/Region: Lilac City, Viore

History: Sierra was born and raised in the port town of Lilac City. Like most kids, she attended the Pokemon Trainer's School there, but seemed to find it hard making friends and even getting to know her teachers. This was due to her parents usually keeping her around the house when she was young, and then being tossed out into the world having no idea what to expect. She managed to make it through Trainer's School, though, and was well on her way to becoming a Pokemon Trainer.

Despite her shy personality, she had dreamed of one day becoming a Pokemon Coordinator, after seeing multiple contests on TV. She also figured that would help her get over her shyness and somewhat stage fright. So she practiced by herself, imagining herself in front of the massive crowds that would come to every contest. With no one really there, she loved it, so she figured it wouldn't be that bad if there were people there.

However... the first year she was to receive her Starter Pokemon she was late, and all of the Pokemon were already chosen by the time she arrived. So, gloomily, she returned home and started practicing again.

A few months later, as she was in her backyard, an injured Deerling stumbled out of a nearby woods. Immediately she ran to help the poor Pokemon, using what she'd learned in Trainer's School to somewhat stabilize the Season Pokemon until she could get it to the nearby Pokemon Center. Thankfully, Deerling made a full recovery. The two became close friends, and Deerling began to live with her at her home.

When the time finally came for her to get her Starter Pokemon again, she was the first one there, making sure not to miss it this time. The Starters given out that day were the Kalos Starters, and she picked Fennekin as her partner. When she returned home, Deerling became her second Pokemon, and she set off on her journey towards Vertigo City, where her first Pokemon Contest awaited.

Legendary Guardian: Meloetta

Michael Stint

Appearance: Coming Soon...

Gender: Male

Age: 12

Personality: Michael, or sometimes Mike for short, tends to help people whenever he can, whether or not he can actually help their situation or not. He tends to remain very upbeat. He's very open about everything, though, not one you'd trust your deepest darkest secrets to. Most people can read him like an open book. He tends to remain very upbeat, and is quite the optimist, trying to find the silver lining in everything.

Hometown/Region: Solaceon Town, Sinnoh

History: Michael grew up in Solaceon Town in the Sinnoh Region. He lived a perfectly normal childhood as one could expect. He learned about many of the ancient legends of the Sinnoh Region from his parents through bedtime stories, which have always intrigued him but he's never fully explored the possibilities.

Very early on it was clear that Michael had a good heart. He would help people at any chance he got, whether that be helping another kid up if they fell down, or fetching a newspaper for an elderly person. Sometimes he would get in over his head, though, like the time he ventured into the Solaceon Ruins in search of a Glameow that was said to have gotten lost within.

He managed to find it and get it out, but not without an earful from his parents when he got home. After that, though, they made him give up the Catty Pokemon. That wasn't the end, though. The Glameow would always remain nearby, probably looking for a way to repay Michael's kindness.

Like most kids, he attended Trainers School to learn to be a Pokemon Trainer. However, he was bored with his studies, believing he was learning the same thing over and over again. Because of this, he flunked and was forced to retake several courses. This held him back a whole year and a half from receiving his Starter Pokemon.

When he finally managed to pass his last course, he headed straight to Hearthome City with his Parents to get his Starter Pokemon. Out of the three Sinnoh Starters available to him, he chose the Grass Type Turtwig. Upon returning home to Solaceon Town, he prepared himself for his first Journey, and was met by the Glameow that had remained there for the past few years. It still wanted to repay his kindness, and decided it wouldn't leave until it did. The best way to do this: Become his Pokemon. So Glameow became his first successful capture.

He had decided though that traveling through Sinnoh would be too much like most other Trainers, touring around their home regions. He wanted a little more adventure, and soon decided on traveling to the Viore Region, which was rumored to have the most diverse pool of Pokemon Species in the world. So, he bought his ticket, and off he went.

He arrived within a few hours and quickly made his way to Prof. Maple's Laboratory, where he received his Viore Pokedex. After that, he started off on his journey immediately. However... he's yet to make it past the Route 701 Pokemon Center, since he just arrived the day before.

Bryce Crest

Appearance: Coming Soon...

Gender: Male

Age: 16

Personality: Bryce was once a very confident, if not overconfident, individual. However, since an unfortunate accident and many failures as a trainer, he has become filled with self-doubt, almost a shell of his former self. He continues to move forward as a trainer for his Pokemon, and the now slim dream that he could one day make a name for himself. Around other people, he puts on his former persona of a confident, proud individual. But those who really know him know the real truth.

Hometown/Region: Dewford Town, Hoenn

History: Being born on Dewford Island, more specifically Dewford Town, Bryce had swimming pretty much in his blood. As he grew, so did his passion for the water. Every day he would be out in the ocean, honing his muscles and stamina. It was hard to get your name out today, there were few things to do so. But Bryce knew what he wanted to do, what he wanted to become. He wanted to be famous.

Unlike most kids his age, he didn't become a Pokemon Trainer on his tenth birthday. He didn't feel the need. He kept working out in the ocean for hours on end to reach the peak of performance. At Twelve, he suprisingly qualified for the Hoenn Olympic Team for that year's Summer Olympics, this was his shot, his chance, to get his name out. He kept practicing every day, nothing could stop him now...

The next thing he knew, he was clinging to life in Slateport Hospital. He didn't remember much, he was out swimming in a usual practice route when he was attacked by some Pokemon. The doctors connected his wounds to those of a Sharpedo Attack. He was hurt badly, and the doctors barely saved his left leg, which was injured the most. Due to his severe injuries, he had to forfeit from the Hoenn Olympic Team. He tried to recover, to become what he once was, but he would never achieve such a level again.

He became downcast, greatly depressed, he would never achieve his dreams now... Then, laying in his bed one night, he was mindlessly clicking through the channels on his TV when he stumbled upon a Pokemon League Championship Match. Someone had made it through the Elite Four of the Hoenn Region, and had come to challenge the Hoenn League Champion. He was amazed at the publicity the event held, and even more impressed when the Champion easily held his own against the challenger. The Champion at that time was Steven Stone. He had a new dream, to achieve that greatness in the contest he had so easily passed up years before.

And so he began his journey, connecting to his water past by choosing a Mudkip as his Starter Pokemon. He traveled across Hoenn, catching new Pokemon, and training them as well as he could. He challenged the Gyms, managing to collect eight Gym Badges just in time for the Hoenn League Tournament in Ever Grande City. However, he lost in the qualifying round.

At first that didn't stop him, and he went on a new journey through the Kanto Region. He continued doing everything as he had before, eventually gathering eight Gym Badges in Kanto and participating in the Indigo League Tournament. This time, he managed to make it into the top thirty-two. He was getting better. Then he went on to the Unova Region, continuing his process. He made it to the Unova League, but once again lost in the qualifying round. He became downcast again, feeling that he'd done something wrong. He blamed himself entirely for the failure.

He considered giving up, going home. But no, his Pokemon convinced him to continue moving forward. He decided to travel to the far off Viore Region, in hopes of finding the spark he had lost. Hearing of all the mystery and legend surrounding the region itself, maybe he could finally find something worth working towards.

Legendary Guardian: Manaphy

Other: He has a quite obvious limp in his Left Leg, something that remained from the Sharpedo Attack all those years before. Even so, he doesn't seem to let that stop him, a sliver of his former determination continuing to shine through.

Even though he doesn't completely recall the event itself, he has developed a fear of Sharpedo due to the attack. Even glimpsing a fin in the water will often make him freeze and tense up.

When he travels to a new Region, he always takes three Pokemon with him. His Starter, Moss the Swampert, the first Pokemon he ever caught, Striker the Manectric, and his pride and joy, Maya the Shiny Flareon.

Gladion

Gender: Male

Age: 14

Personality: Strong-willed and intelligent, Gladion has been hardened by his experiences. Though cold and aloof, his rough exterior hides a kind, caring person. He is especially protective of his partners and sister, however this attitude extends to anyone he forms a bond with. With a surly and cynical disposition, it's difficult for Gladion to cut loose, even if the source of his misery has been, for the most part, defeated. Though he's been able to take losses with considerably more grace than he used to, he's still quite self-critical, and strives to become a formidible Trainer.

Hometown/Region: Aether Paradise, Alola

History: Gladion's childhood was relatively normal for the first several years of his life. His mother and father were loving, caring parents, but they were often absent; leaving Gladion and his sister, Lillie, in the care of others.

His father was the head scientist of the Aether Foundation, an organization dedicated to the preservation of injured Pokémon. However, in the interests of keeping their organization afloat, they heavily invested in their research. Gladion's father, Professor Mohn, was a cutting-edge scientist, diving into the fields of the unknown. A strange portal to another world was discovered, and even more terrifyingly, occasionally dangerous Pokémon would appear from them. The professor sought to uncover the mysteries of the Ultra Wormhole.

Before his research was completed, Mohn was lost to the very thing he studied. The Aether Foundation began their project Type: Full in order to combat the extraterrestrial threats. In the process, Gladion's mother, Lusamine, was driven mad.

Her insanity became increasingly apparent as time passed. It was almost as if something corrupted her being, amplifying her negative traits. The Type: Full project was soon deemed a failure by the Foundation (and renamed Type: Null), however Gladion knew that if his mother planned to force open an Ultra Wormhole, this project was the only chance he had at stopping her.

Breaking into a high-security lab, Gladion successfully liberated a cryogenically frozen Type: Null. However, he would soon discover the percise reason for the projects failure; the chimeric creature was driven to madness, and was volatile, and uncontrollable. Gladion was determined to prove its creators wrong, and liberate the feral Pokémon, turning it into the Beast Killer it was designed to be. Grievously wounded, but not disheartened, Gladion took Type: Null with him as he left Aether Paradise.

Gladion began working for Team Skull in the interest of supporting himself financially while finding a way to free Type: Null from its restraints. He would go on working for them as an Enforcer for two years until they made the mistake of kidnapping his sister.

Working with the eventual Champion of the Alola Region, they managed to rescue his sister, however they were not able to thwart his mother's grand scheme. Lusamine was taken in by an Ultra Wormhole, along with Team Skull's leader. With his mother in an entirely different dimension, Gladion was left with no way to stop her. Leaving a Moon Flute in the care of his newly found friend, Gladion entrusted the future of Alola to a powerful trainer.

Aether Paradise was left in shambles, and without a president. The president they had was filled with corruption, using the Foundation in ways contrary to its initial purpose. Gladion then dedicated himself to rebuilding the Foundation's core from the ground up.

Luna Muuya

Appearance: Coming Soon...

Gender: Female

Personality: Luna is generally an outgoing and social girl. She's always ready to lend a helping hand if it's needed, but she won't go completely out of her way to help someone unless they're close to her. She has a lot of enthusiasm, but tends to get discouraged fairly easily. It's only temporary though, and she generally bounces back quickly.

Hometown/Region: Heahea City, Alola

History: Luna was born on Akala Island in the Alola Region. She lived in Heahea City for most of her life, and very much enjoyed the Alolan Culture and Way of Life. She attended the Trainers School on Melemele Island when she was old enough, becoming friends with many trainers there including Lana and Mallow.

Soon she met her first Pokemon, a playful Popplio she met while swimming outside her home in Heahea. Slowly the two formed a close bond, and nearly every day they were out there together. When one day Popplio didn't appear, she got worried and went looking for it.

Looking along the shore, she found it bruised and battered on a rocky coastline. She rushed the injured Pokemon to a Pokemon Center, where it was determined that Popplio had been caught in a storm the night before, and been bashed into the rocky coast.

The Water Type soon made a full recovery, and was grateful to Luna for her kindness and friendship. It began to follow her everywhere, and eventually the two decided to become full partners, with Luna catching Popplio and giving her the nickname Torrent.

The two worked together and began catching and raising Pokemon, adding Flake the Vulpix, Hound the Rockruff, and Sola the Bounsweet to their family. Eventually, she decided to take an Island Challenge Trial, receiving a Z-Ring from the Island Kahuna Olivia and taking the Water Challenge.

After a hard fought battle, they managed to defeat Totem Wishiwashi, and obtained the Z-Crystal of Waterium-Z. After that, though, she reconsidered the Island Challenge after seeing how powerful the Totem's were. She had an appetite for adventure. So she decided to travel before returning to the Alola Island Challenge, and headed off for Regions unknown to her, eventually ending up in the Viore Region.

Sonya Khalturin

Appearance: Sonya typically wears a black tank top with dark blue jeans unless it's cold then she also has a jacket on over her tank top. She likes to keep things simple outside of contests, and also tends to wear fingerless black gloves and a black backpack with orange-red highlights that match her hair in the sunlight. Within contests or really nice events she really shows her girl side with beautiful dresses and making sure her hair is perfect, the whole nine yards.

Gender: Female

Age: 18

Personality: Sonya is a confident young trainer/Coordinator who is usually cheerful, but not necessarily upbeat. She has a high tendency to put things off like practice or work, but secretly that's only publicly. She actually works really hard at practicing with her pokemon and loves them very much. Though when it comes to losing it makes her feel as though she failed her pokemon and can upset her greatly.

Hometown/Region: Violet City - Johto Region

History:
Sonya was born and raised in Violet City. She left as soon as she turned of age becoming a pokemon trainer with her partner Cyndaquil. From there she traveled throughout the Johto region going from gym to gym. She met new friends along the way and even some rivals too, but in the end it was a great experience for her. At the end of it all she even made it into the Silver Conference. It had been a little nerve racking at first especially when she found out her family had traveled to see her in person. While she did not end victorious in the competition, she did finish in the top eight making it to the finals so she was happy with the result and knowing that she lost to one of her childhood friends Amelia made it not so bad as well as all the cheering she got during the competition for how she had gone about things.

This inspired Sonya to look into other things like breeding pokemon, or even health for pokemon like at the pokemon center, but what really caught her attention was when she heard about the pokemon contests in the Hoenn region. He parents understood and wished her well. Sonya left all of her pokemon except her main partner, Quilava. While on the trip there she ran into Amelia again and they decided to stick together throughout the Hoenn region. Amelia thought it was a wonderful idea that Sonya was going into contests, and even tried a couple herself. Sadly however contests just weren't her thing. So while they were both getting badges for the Hoenn region Amelia left the contests in Sonya's capable hands.

Eventually Sonya won enough ribbons to get into the Grand Festival and all eight badges for the region as well. Beyond all belief coming in as the rookie of the crop Sonya brought a flair to the stage that seemed to impress all of the judges and even the participants and ended up leaving as the winner of the Grand Festival. From there Sonya accompanied Amelia through the rest of her Hoenn challenges and then they both said farewell at the airport. Amelia had decided to head to the Sinnoh region while Sonya had decided to head to Viore. It had sounded like a place of intrigue plus there would be contests there as well. She had pleaded with Amelia to join her, but the girl was determined to see some of the sites in Sinnoh. With that they had a final hug goodbye.
