[37 Cockatiels]

She called for them around sunrise, which of course meant they were delayed about an hour because Jeremy was still asleep.

"Nice of you to finally make it." The queen stood when they finally walked into her hall.

"Your highness," Jeremy gave a curt bow.

"Sorry we're late, this one can't get up before sunhigh." Stephan said shortly.

She took her seat again. "I'm sure you heard that a group of rogues broke into the castle last night?"

"I heard, don't know about him." Stephan replied with a nod towards Jeremy.

"Well, they took something very important from me. I need you to get it back and make them think twice about ever crossing me again."

"What'd they take that was so important you woke us two up at the asscrack of dawn to go get?"

She shot him a glare. "My sword."

"Your..."

"My sword, Tiernach."

"Oh, that one." Jeremy nodded. "Why?"

"Who knows why," she snapped, "just go get it back before I ride out there and destroy them all myself."

Jeremy glanced over at Stephan before replying. "Ok, your highness, we can do that."

[PaintLynn]

Paint just happened to be passing through the hall, on her way to her chambers sleepily, when she heard them she woke up and hid from sight. She continued to listen.

[37 Cockatiels]

"Alright..." Jeremy glanced around. "Is there anything else we need to retrieve? I mean, in particular, we're gonna get back everything they stole."

She thought for a moment before shaking her head. "No. You can leave whenever you're ready, I've given word to the guards that you'll be going out and the rest of your team will meet you by the gate."

Stephan nodded a little. "Any idea of where these guys headed after they left?"

"The soldier's dogs led them east for a ways before losing the scent."

"Alright, that's all we need." Stephan turned and headed for the door.

Jeremy hesitated, and after another curt bow to the queen, followed.

Paint sucks in air to Contain her excitement, finally some action! The castle had been nothing but boring lately . . And she was expected to entertain with out any events to use. She waits for the gentlemen to pass by, as she hides deeper into the dark corner she was hiding in. Once they pass she follows behind, staying up against the wall

They headed to their chambers to get supplies, chatting:

"Let's at least go get some breakfast first." Jeremy was saying. "Maybe some stuffed bread from the castle's kitchen?"

Stephan nodded. "Sure, I know someone in there, she'll definitely let us have some."

"Another girl you've charmed with your stoicism?" Jeremy cracked a grin, cutting his eyes at him.

Stephan gave him a look. "Ew, no."

"Come on, you've gotta have girls tripping over themselves;" he paused, "From what I hear from the maids, they all think you're pretty good looking."

"I don't like the maids, I don't care what they think."

"That's cause they're always flirting with you."

"Oh, that's what you call that? I thought that was called harassment."

Hideing she hears them talking and lets out a giggle at the last persons comment. Realizing that she's close enough to be heard by them she sucks in air, covers her mouth and hopes they didn't hear her.

Stephan turned, scanning the hall for a moment, but headed into his chambers without investigating. Jeremy, however, didn't seem to notice at all and continued on to his door, whistling a very out of tune song.

[PaintLynn]

"Your whistling sucks" she calls out the gentalmen that was whistling

[37 Cockatiels]

"Thanks, been practicing all day," Jeremy said, turning to see who spoke.

[PaintLynn]

"I can tell, you know what they say the more you practice the worse yah sound" she says grinning as she quickly catches up to him.

[37 Cockatiels]

"I've seen you around somewhere..." He thought a moment. "Oh yeah, you're that court jester."

"What do you want, we're busy." Stephan stuck his head out of his door to glare.

[PaintLynn]

She nods her head, and gives Stephen the middle finger with out even looking at him. She looks at Jeremy "Imma tag along on yalls little quest, I won't be a problem I promise"

[37 Cockatiels]

"Yeah, screw you too." Stephan pulled back into his room to keep packing.

"Uh..." Jeremy hesitated for a while. "Don't know if we can do that..."

"Since when do we listen to the rules?" Stephan finished up quickly and stepped out into the hall.

[PaintLynn]

Smiles " you don't really have a choice, I was merely informing you. My bags have been packed already and Imm grab them on the way out" she says to Jeremy, then looks at Stephen and grins at his remarks

Jeremy shook his head and went to his room to pack.

"Sure, fine, you can die on a very dangerous journey." Stephan rolled his eyes and leaned against the wall by Jeremy's door.

"So, armory first or stable first?" Jeremy asked.

"Armory." Stephan said, ignoring Paint. "Once we get the horses we'll head straight out and find these guys' trail."

[PaintLynn]

"If I die, I die. No will notice. It's no big loss " she says with a shrug.
"I'd be useful also, my sniffer is one of the best in the castle. . . "

[37 Cockatiels]

"Yeah, I've heard." Jeremy said, coming out of his room with a fully packed pair of saddlebags. "He's probably the best tracker here though, sorry kid."

Stephan started walking down the hall and Jeremy followed after closing his door.

[PaintLynn]

Going into animal form I walk behind Jeremy pouting, about being called a kid. "Kid has a name yah know! It's Paint!"

[37 Cockatiels]

"You really gonna let her follow us?" Stephan glanced back at her.

"Uh, sure. Why not." Jeremy shrugged. "We can work with it."

Stephan sighed. "Fine, just know I'm not risking my life to save her ass if she does something stupid."

Growls at Stephan. "I never asked you to jackass" she snarls
