If you know me and my work, you should know already that I try to explore exotic scenarios and that I love if things are complicated in a way that allows a lot of freedom without breaking the game. And that I also tend to make hellova names.

I refuse to make a proper post here so here is what the game is about:

Sometime in the future, in an unknown solar system, humans have thriving colonies. Economy is booming and technology is rapidly advancing. In this state of golden days, not everything is so nice thought. A new enemy has showed up on the horizon: a terrorist organization that beleives humans shouldn't be using warp gates, as they are abominations in gods eyes. Just when the elections begin, the opening ceremony on the planet GH129-K ,or known as Faln for its inhabitants, gets bombed which triggers a massive public outcry. With each of the candidates trying to get reputation, they settle for getting rid of the terrorists, and bring peace to the system. But as they have no power yet, they turn to PMCs. Small military organizations that do military stuff for rich people.

And that is where you come in. You'll be leading a small up-and-coming PMC, and leading a squad or squads into the battle. You'll gain favor with the candidates who you worked for, and earn money to buy better shit, and equip your guys more and more. You can either go and make your own PMC, make the squads, and lead them, or you can possibly join up with someone else, so you can do multitasking, or lead more suqads into battle.

The idea is not a 100% refined yet, and that is why it is out here in the interest check. If you have any questions you can ask them freely. There is no CS here, just the idea, so bear that in mind.

Seriously, this is an amazing story and a great potential for roleplaying. I'm just afraid that you can create your own PMC, everything will be unequal. Scattered so less plots, if you know what I mean. ^^

@zellected I get you. The thing is, that a PMC will have a squad at first. I will balance them after you send me how they are set up (equipment and members), and then you can choose which candidate you want to work for. Each candidate gives different things. More money, tech, people and so on. It wouldn't be that complicated, as I'd do all the "boring" stuff.

As for the plot, if you sdie with a candidate, you want them to win, so you get more support, and you also want to end the terrorist danger. I imagine that shouldn't lead to too many different stories.

@LordZell If you want to be a bad guy, then maybe we can talk about it. I can imagine a mechanic where if you act as one of the terrorist cells, you could go and do missions, and how well you do will affect your resources too.

If you want to escape the carefully laid out system of politics (hahaha joke of teh century) then no, I don't think you can be a raider who has endless resources and no affection. Maybe if you had some limits then yes.

It would spicen up the game for sure.
