Appearance/Description: Leo is about 6 feet tall, with neck length black hair and a neatly trimmed black beard. The tips of his ears are a bit shorter than a normal elf, making them easier to hide. He has piercing green eyes and a scar on his neck. His skin is tanned from spending weeks at a time outside. As a werewolf, he has pitch black fur and entirely green, glowing eyes. Leo can control his transformations unless under the influence of a full moon, when he's forced to transform. Even then, he has enough sense as a beast to refrain from slaying innocents.
Backstory/Bio: Leo is one of the most reliable and trustworthy people you could meet, if you can earn his friendship. He’s a ranger of a kind, preferring to spend time outside and in nature. He was born to a human father and an elven mother. His mother was killed in a bandit raid when Leo was young. This caused his father to become completely devoted to Leo and to begin preparing him for life in the real world. He taught Leo to fight with sword and bow, how to track and hunt, and all the skills of a Ranger. On one of his hunts, he wandered into the den of a feral werewolf, which bit him, making him a werewolf too.
Leollys is descended from an ancient kingdom of half elves, known as the Ritter Elves. The Ritters hailed from the forgotten province known as Ritland and made their capital, Ritahloras, in the gigantic interior forest known as The Rit. The Ritter Elves were known for their amazing craftsmanship, sprawling architecture and their amazing Rangers. Leo, through his mother, is the great, great, great, great, great, great grandson of the last Ritter King, the title held by the leader of the Ritters. This information is known to only one person, an old sage that lived with Ritter Elves in his youth. This sage carries the information of Leo’s bloodline, one of the last pure Ritter Elf bloodlines, and also the symbol of the Ritter King’s power, the ancient and powerful sword known as Ritterstihl.
Choice of Weaponry: an elven made short sword, a man made short sword, a recurve bow and eventually, Ritterstihl (a bastard sword with a gleaming steel blade, with runes carved in the fuller that glow red when fueled by the Ritter King. The hilt is leather wrapped with a golden guard and pommel.)
Garb: Leo wears black boiled leather greaves, gauntlets, and cuirass all under a heavy, forest green, hooded, long coat. The armor, he received from the Goldenblade quartermaster and the coat was his father’s.
Personality: Leo prefers the freedom of the outdoors but that doesn’t mean he likes to be alone. He loves people and having conversation. He’s incredibly reliable and trustworthy. He’ll always be there if he’s needed, which could also be a flaw. His attachment to his friends could be used against him.

Alexander stands at 6'2" and weighs around 215 lbs. Alexander has a caramel-like skin tone, his hair jet black with tight curls. His face is scarred, a slash wound diagonal across most of his left cheek starting from the side of his nose. Aside from his face, his body has an athletic build. He's not skinny, but not really muscular. He has a more lean look, an average sized body just with some muscle tone.

Backstory/Bio
Alexander was born in the city of Duplil in Verdus, his family a middle-class working group. He was raised mainly by his mother, his father a military man for Verdus. When Alexander was 11, his father was slain in battle. This sparked Alexander's interest in miitary work. Against his mother's wishes, he began training at age 14 with his uncle. Alexander left for Astal when he was 16, beginning his training as an Astal Imperial.

When Alexander finally turned 18, he joined the Astal Imperial Legion. He was a dedicated soldier, able to handle himself quite well in battle as well. He was a rather loyal soldier to the king of Astal, but slowly leaned away from him as his tyranny got a bit too intense. When Verdus began its civil war after the murder of Astal's king, Alexander joined the Ironbanes due to his loyalty to Astal. He fought in the Battle of Sundas, the first major battle in Verdus. The Ironbanes won this battle, but continued slaughtering soldiers that surrendered and even innocent bystanders. This didn't sit well with Alexander, so he left the Ironbanes.

Alexander didn't immediately join the Goldenblades. He returned to Duplil to stay with his mother to help her as she fell ill. Alexander stayed with her as long as he could, only leaving to get her supplies. He didn't think he'd have to go to battle, so he didn't worry about the Ironbanes too much. This wasn't the case. The Ironbanes attempted to capture Duplil. The Goldenblades and the Ironbanes were locked in a heated battle. Sick of the Ironbanes' killing of innocents, Alexander joined the Goldenblades. He defected to Duplil's rebels and turned his back of Verdus' government. Alexander now lives as a soldier for the Goldenblades, fighting to keep his mother safe and bring a new order in Verdus.

Alexander is a swordsman, using a two-handed iron sword he's nicknamed Riptide. He wears light iron armor; a chest-piece, gauntlets, leg armor, and boots. Alexander fights with speed, agility, and intelligence. He never goes into a fight sloppily and always tries to get a kill as quick as possible. Despite his lack of visible muscle, Alexander is quite strong, shown by how well he handles a two-handed sword. Along with physical talent, his intelligence aids him in combat as well. He knows when to strike and where, able to tell what area is open to slice. However, Alexander has a short temper. He's gotten close to death because of it, displayed by the slash on his cheek. He isn't a perfect fighter, but he does all he can.

Choice of Weaponry
A black iron sword custom made. His blade is long, requiring two-hands to use. It's also quite heavy, requiring a good deal of strength. He's strong enough to wield it, but sometimes gets worn out in longer battles.

Personality
Alexander is young and energetic, loving to go fight for the Goldenblades' cause. He is loyal to this faction. Alexander is very friendly outside the battlefield, befriending most people of Duplil and a familiar face in its bar. Alexander enjoys to travel and adventure when not required to fight, often going to towns to ask for work in search of money. He likes to clear out bandit areas, despising the savage group of murderers. He loves to protect those unable to fight for themselves.

Alexander is also very explosive when angry, getting mad when pushed too much. He will yell and even fight if provoked. This has only been seen by his fellow soldiers, especially during battles. He holds in anger a lot, which just makes things worse for anyone who dares to test his patience. He dislikes his bad anger management skills, but it does help him in battle.

Appearance/Description:
Long, mid back length, red hair with green gentle eyes. She keeps her hair in a half-up half-down style with a braid. Often decorate her hair with dark crimson or black dragon scales from her pet. She is average height, but gets called short by everyone. Slim, with an active physique. Surprisingly strong for her size and a very fast runner.

Backstory/Bio:
Crim is known as a dragon priestess in Onxyia. Being one of the cultists that are allowed to live with their dragons, she resides near a cave for protection. She was born in Etrya but when she was young she was taken from her home by Cultists. Raised by them, Crim learned their ways and became one of their priestesses.

Her ability to use magic grew as she practiced through the years as well as her effect on dragons. For Crim's 18th birthday, and graduation in cultist training, she was given a dragon egg and told if it hatched she could keep the dragon and would become a priestess, but if it didn't she would have to forfeit the egg to another trainee. Luckily the egg hatched. Crim was then given the last name Raveshadow after one of the strongest dragon priestesses.

Later she traveled to Onxyia to get away from the radicals that took over her old encampment and killed her teacher. Wanting to get away from harm's vengeful path, she took shelter in a cave and raised her dragon. Continuing to practice magic she stayed near her cave, often traveling to the villages in Onyxia for supplies or the river that ran close by.

Hearing that there are dark powers enslaving the minds of fellow cultists and other great leaders she heard about in legends, Crim fears she may not be neutral for much longer and find herself in many great battles to fix the broken lands of Vedrus.

Personality:
Crim is a kind, helpful, and tries to stay neutral even though she does aid people on either side. She does not like unnecessary killing or fighting, so does not believe in taking sides. But she does understand when sides should be taken and when fighting is necessary. She is encouraging and polite. She enjoys helping the underdog, and always tries to aid in the ending of tyranny. She is not a fan of people who put down and opress lower class citizens. Crim is supportive of the lower and middle class people.

Crim aslo finds enjoyment in the raising of dragons and the art of magic. Even though she is not fond of fighting she does like a good fight or battle, it excites her in a way. It also pleases her to give her dragon a challenge and some exercise.

Appearance/Description:

"Courtesan in Blue, Reading" by Lindewald, said to be a portrait of the Countess during her years at court

This portrait was made of Heidra some time before her execution. Since then, she was decapitated by the royal headsman after the civil war, so that her head needed to be stitched on by the Dragon Cultists to function properly. The job was servicable, although her head is a bit lopsided as a result. A good deal of hair has fallen out, as well. The general decomposition of her flesh after lying in a mass grave for a week or so also took its toll throughout her body, with a great deal of flesh having fallen out or eaten by insects. She is able to disguise it as best she can, sometimes wearing a mask or applying makeup to hide the signs of decay on her face to avoid detection. She also perfumes herself to hide the stench of the undead.

Backstory/Bio: Heidra belongs to the Rastenbruck dynasty, one of the many noble dynasties vying for dominance in North Vedrus, with the Rastenbrucks controlling an ancestral mountain keep to the north of Astal named Orrinnfell. She and her father became the last surviving members of their family after several cousins either died from a deadly plague that swept through the north or were executed by the King of Astal for plotting against him, making Heidra the sole surviving heir to the Rastenbruck dynasty and Orrinnfell Keep. Her father avoided the fate of his cousins by taking the side of the king, becoming a general in the Imperial Legion, and by sending his sole heir Heidra to Astal as a hostage. In Astal, Heidra was given a court education in the liberal arts and even extensive training in espionage, a popular profession among the nobility in the paranoid atmosphere of the tyrannical king's court.

When the king was murdered, however, the Ironbanes suspected Heidra's father of complicity, and so executed Heidra as punishment before moving to attack Orrinnfell. Fearing the prospect of his dynasty's destruction and his ancestral keep falling forever into the hands of the government, and mad with grief over his daughter's death, Heidra's father the Count made a deal with the Dragon Cultists to resurrect his daughter in exchange for his life. The cultists agreed, but further stated that the resurrected Heidra must serve the will of the Dragon Cult as the civil war goes forward. Heidra's father made the bargain, and signed his will declaring the County of Orrinnfell to be inherited by "the body of Heidra va Rastenbruck." The life force was then drained from him. Soon afterward, Heidra's body was exhumed from a mass grave outside the walls of Astal, and her father's life force was infused into her body, reviving her. The Dragon Cultists then bestowed her with her rightful title of Countess of Orrinnfell, although by then the Ironbanes had taken control of the keep.

Ever since then Heidra has been determined to one day come back to Orrinnfell and regain her birthright, to become more than a Countess-in-absentia. In the meantime, she must act as an agent for the Dragon Cultists, playing both the Ironbanes and Goldenblades off of each other, using espionage to defend the interests of the Dragon Cult. At court she was a proficient fencer, but whenever honest one-to-one combat fails she is often the first to fight dirty. Besides that, she is extremely obsessed with learning, books, and spellcraft, though try as she might she never had a talent for magic.

Choice of Weaponry: Rapier and carving knife.

Garb: Light, rough-hewn garments given to her by the Dragon Cultists-not exactly fit for a Countess, but on top of these garments she wears a long black cloak for keeping out the elements. She also has a bauta mask that covers her entire face, and together with the cloak she disguises herself from being revealed as undead.

Personality: Heidra grew up in an atmosphere of fear, suspicion, and dread, so she is naturally paranoid and suspicious of people's motives and finds it hard to trust people. She is very conscious of her class and education, often looking down on lower class characters. She is extremely determined at getting what she wants, to the point that she often becomes obsessed with completing her goals. Her caustic wit has a tendency to get on people's nerves. Despite everything, however, she knows an ally when she sees one and will not throw one away lightly, being extremely loyal to them as long as it serves her purposes. She has learned to be deceptive and manipulative, and most of the time she wonders if even she knows who she really is anymore beneath the lies. Her great ideal is taking back her birthright and avenging her family, and she will use whatever pragmatic means to do it.

Dante is 6 feet tall and has short black hair with silver eyes. He has many scars, on his chest, arms and one over his face, from battles with creatures and he is a monster/creature hunter, lured by legends. He wears wolf skins over his armor. Grumpy expressions most of the time and rarely smiles unless in battle.

Backstory/Bio
Dante was raised by hunters in Onyxia. Their favorite thing to hunt were vampires. One day on a hunt with his friends, when they were 15, they encountered a vampire werewolf battle going on. They tried to kill both sides, but sadly his friends died in battle and he became a werewolf himself. The village, Cabal, thought he was the one who killed his friends and banished him for treason and murder, instead of hanging him right away.

After becoming a werewolf he is banished from his village in Onyxia, Cabal, and now wanders still hunting. He is cold to others and sticks to himself most of the time. He is not very social but can get the job done. He isn’t disturbed when he kills, not hesitant, and is a survivalist. Killing does not phase him in the slightest. Dante does not trust others often either, due to his coldness and longing for solidarity.He prefers to be solo due to his past experiences and the event that dealt with his friends death.

His werewolf nature is mostly under control through years of practice and careful training.Although he does lose control while being a werewolf, depending on the intensity of the frenzy.

Backstory/Bio

As a little kid Rosline lived in Astal with her father and two older brothers. Watching her brothers, she quickly picked up their tricks. By the time she was 10, Rosline joined her brothers in sword fights, wrestling, and rough-housing.Shortly after she hit her teen years Rosline's brothers were drafted into the war, and she was left to ten their land and care for their sick father.

During that time Roz had some strange goings on happening about her. She would think of animals and watch as aspects of those animals appeared on her body. Learning to control her abilities, Roz found a witch in the woods behind her home that told her she was a shapeshifter and to never use her ability out in the open. So Roz learned to control it and kept it her "little" secret.

Eventually Rosline herself was drafter into the war on the side of the Ironbanes. Fighting in many battles she learned both Ironbane and Goldenblade tactics, making her a very valuable asset in the war.But her view of the war changed at the Battle of Favorstead. She watched as countless men in her battalion died. And lost hope of winning when a dragon came onto the battlefeild. Instantly she dropped her weapons and surrender, due to her fear of dragons and magic. Seeing a handsome man distracted by the dragon, one of her men stabbed him through the back and then two others, not her men, rushed in to help him; a girl and an archer with a sword. As all the remaining men surrendered, Rosline went with them. She would no longer serve the barbarian Ironbanes. She would pledge her allegiance to the Goldenblades, an him.

Personality

Rosline is sweet, but very curious, energetic, and a bit clingy. When she finds someone she likes, she gets attached. Even though she is clingy, she is respectful and will mind boundaries. She wishes to please whoever she likes and her superiors. Rosline is very passionate and loving. She also has a passion for fighting and rough-housing with her brothers or close friends.

At times it may seem as though she is two people with an alter ego that comes out on the battlefield. She loves the adrenaline that comes with a fight and will sometimes start one for the hell of it with her enemies. Rosline has a habit of getting in over her head with fights, but can fend for herself. When provoked she is prone to violent or angry outbursts, although she is not fond of that side of her. She is strong but small so many don't believe her strength.

Nikolai is 6'2" and handsome through every inch. He is a against fighting, due to the fact that he likes to keep himself pristine looking. Appearance is everything to him, even commenting on soldiers' armor or hygiene at times. He has long but trimmed, pulled back, blonde, brown hair with hazel eyes. He has a muscular build and the body of a soldier.

Backstory/Bio
Nikolai lived in Onyxia for all of his life, leaving on occasion to see new places. As a boy, Nikolai was still all about appearance, staying out of the mud and dirty place. He wasn't like the other boys in Onyxia that loved mud pies and everything messy. Nikolai took up and apprenticeship at a barber shop and learned how to keep himself practically pristine.

As he grew older Nikolai made sure to keep up his appearance, as he began to help everyone one else. His mentor grew very ill and had no sons or daughters to give his shop to so told Nikolai to keep it running and gave him the deed to the shop. As he ran the shop he expanded it to be an inn as well. This made him enough money to buy the nicest garb in Onyxia, keeping him satisfied.

When the war broke out, soldiers started staying in his inn but his business was starting to fail. The soldiers scared the townspeople so they began to go less and the soldiers barely paid what they owed. Nikolai soon ran out of money to keep up with new garb and slowly ran out of business. Having close to no money at all Nikolai met a traveling mage on his way out of Onyxia. The mage offered to take him under his wing after telling Nikolai he had a source of power within. Having no other options Nikolai accepted and travelled with the mage and learned all he could from the man.

After years and Nikolai was fully grown, he returned to Onyxia and the woods around the beautiful city. As he travelled back he saw a curious little elf that sparkled with dragon scales. Captivated by the beauty of them he ran over to her and asked her why he could buy some. Finding out they weren't for sale or any store, he walked away disappointed, until the little elf told him she had some and she would be willing to give them to him with no cost, as a gift instead. He took the gracious gift and thanked her, returning back to his home and embroidering them into his cloak.

Wanting more he went back to the forest where he found the she-elf, but she was gone. Though he found a cave and watched as she walked out for a hunt. Staying out of site he watched as she had a confrontation with a solider and followed them to their camp. Every time they went somewhere Nikolai was not far behind, craving more dragon scales and finding out that they came from a pet dragon she had accompany her on her journeys.

Thick, black cloak with light leather armor. He was given iron forged armor by a soldier passing by after a battle, but wasn't impressed by it so had a smith customize it with his own insignia engraved into the chest plate and embroidered with jewels, even though the jewels weren't his favorite rare ones.

Personality
He has a passion for sarcastic comebacks and one-liners. He is impartial to physical activity, not liking it but not disliking it either. Nikolai is very curious, energetic, and one men should watch out for. When he finds himself a looker, he can be a bit passionate with his flirting. He is respectful and will mind boundaries, however will be a little pushy if he is drunk. She Nikolai is very passionate, sometimes in a fiery way, and loving.

The battlefield is the only thing Nikolai does not exceed in. He can protect himself but he does not favor taking lives. He tries to avoid making enemies, but sometimes his sarcasm gets in the way and he gets himself in a heap of trouble.

Nikolai loves himself a drink or five on occasion, however has long sober streaks. When he is drunk he is even more rowdy and tends to go to far around fellow men, meaning it all in good fun.

Appearance/Description: Elora has two different forms, due to her vampiric nature. She has her normal form as she is normally from day to day. Long black hair with silver highlights, silver-ish sparkling eyes, and a calm gentle face that doesn’t show threat at all. And pointy ears that poke out far from her hair. Then she has her vampire form with screams threat or “I’m going tear you to shreds just because I can”. With still long jet black hair, blood red eyes, horns, and a beautiful yet deadly sense about her.

Backstory: Elora was an average elven girl with a very uncomplicated, happy life. Her father was human and a veteran of war, while her mother was an elf and a spoil of that war. She lived in Astal for all of her life as a child until she reached 17. By then her parents wanted to leave the city due to the increasing tensions there. They feared a war would break out so they left Astal and built a cabin up in the mountains.

When the war finally broke out Elora’s father was found and taken into the army by Ironbane soldiers a year before the battle of Favorstead, leaving her and her mother alone in the mountains. Taking on the tasks her father had, Elora took care of her mother as she aged. By the time she was 26 her mother passed away and left her distraught and devastated.

Feeling as if she had nothing left to live for Elora walked down to the cliff that overlooked a small lake and jumped. However, when she hit the water she didn’t die. She only began to sink as the pain from the impact filled her body and cramped her muscles. Accepting her death, she didn’t do a thing to get back to the surface. Just before her eyes closed and her lungs filled with water a figure pulled her from the water. As she coughed out the water she took another look at the figure and saw horns and wings. Instantly afraid she tried to crawl backwards and away from the demonic looking person.

The person was a tall male with long-ish black hair and red glowing eyes that smiled at her with white fangs. Fear engulfed her and she went to scream but he covered her mouth and told her to be quiet. Then asked her if death was what she really wanted. Thinking about it Elora shook her head no and tried to scoot away again, but the demon was persistent. He told her about the afterlife and what it was like to be a servant of the daemon princes, making her almost want to say yes. He sat next to her and turned to a elven form life her, he looked like an average normal elf.

They continued to talk about what it was like to serve the daemons and Elora finally asked him to help her become a servant, she had nothing left anyways so what was there to lose. The daemon, Deamiel, took her by the hand and brought her to Datroastein where he bite her turning her into a vampire and taught her how to hunt and kill. Elora quickly learned the ways of vampires and demons and stayed close to Deamiel, taming her own dire wolf as they trained. She hunted with the wolf and slept with it as well. They grew close and Elora cared for it more than anything. Her dire wolf was her companion and family now.

As the war progressed she went back to the upper ground and began to hunt there. Only to be caught and captured by a group of unknowing bandits. She was to be taken to the Goldenblades for a reward due to her side in the war. But when the bandits that had captured her didn’t return one night and the stench of werewolf took over her camp, she turned vampire and broke her bonds, calling her wolf to her side. Her hunt had just begun.

Garb: Elora has a hand-stitched, red dress with white designs embroidered in the bottom and collor with light, black armor over it. Both lace up the front. She has black, laced up leather gloves that got almost to her elbow. And black leather boots that go to her knees. Elora wears this out of battle.

When she is in battle however, she wears a bit more open but heavier armor. All black iron plated armor that covers her arms and legs completely but leaves her stomach exposed. Favoring style and trusting her skill to keep her from being sliced in half.

Also, while she was in Datroastein, Elora was scouted as an assassin and given a new attire to preform her new occupation. All dark black leather with a hood embroidered with the same design as her red dress. She keeps the garb in her bag just in case she needs it again.

Personality: Elora is independent and doesn’t like help with almost anything. She is very to herself and hands on when she does things. Elora does enjoy some company but mostly stays to herself due to her past. When she makes a friend, she will do anything to protect and keep them as a friend. She can be a bit overprotective at time and very cautious. She is weary of everyone and isn’t quick to trust anyone. Being turned into a vampire has made her less social and more afraid of big groups. She is also impartial to humans. It’s not that she doesn’t like them or like them, she just fears them and what they would do to her if they found out her current state. Although she is dead, so to speak, she still has a sense of humor and loves to play with people.

In her vampire form, her thoughts are mostly the same, but she does crave the enjoyment of a hunt. She loves to hunt when in vampire form, due to the fact that’s the only time she does hunt or eat for that matter. She is more responsive but less tolerant when a vampire. Elora is very playful and likes to toy with people’s minds. She is also very deceptive when a vampire, less so when human.

Marco is rather short, standing at 5' 4". He has short, blonde hair with blue eyes to match. He is rather muscular for a short guy. He has a scar across the bridge of his nose. Marco is around 175 lbs. Marco has a gold necklace with a dark red ruby, amplifying his fire spells.

Backstory/Bio
Born in Duplil, Marco was raised by a middle class family. He loved to study music and went to Astal to become a bard. This fell through as the war began, causing him to return to Duplil. Marco was taken prisoner by an Ironbane group as he attempted to flee after an invasion. He was imprisoned with a suspected demon, only to find out he was just a fire mage.

Marco was mentored by the mage, learning about magic and finding a love in learning about spells and incantations along with ancient spells and runes. Marco was released upon the retaking of Duplil and now wanders the land of Verdus in search of a new home.

Age: Approximately one and a half centuries young, mind you, though she retains the skeleton of a rather dextrous 26 year old.

Race: Skeleton presently, but she was an elf in her more lively state.

Appearance/Description: Her leathers and cloths are worn, though a hooded tunic once adorned her fresh corpse. She is outfitted with archery equipment, and a bow that she is quite proud of. Her tattered bracers still adorn her arms, paired with shredded boots. Her bone figure stacks up to around 5'6, and her now pearly bones are objects of pride.

Backstory/Bio: A natural rogue, Opalle's career started off sneaking out of the house in the night to meet up with friends at the river. It's there that she, along with her companions, would make up and act out stories and wives tales from her village. She grew up with a mischievous and clever mind, ever the prankster in only the most creative fashion. A young orcish boy moved into town, and Opalle was quite taken with him and his skills. Never had she seen such a skilled archer before. It was at this time that she took up the hobby herself, practicing with the boy and quickly becoming adept with the craft until her arrows split themselves upon the center of the target. Without much thought or consideration, she hastily set off from her town with the orc, eager to create an adventure that she had often resolved to make up in her younger years.
Eight or so years passed, and the pair had become quite experienced in their travels on the road. Far and wide, they travelled, and they grew accustomed to the feeling of ever changing earth beneath their feet. They came to expect travelling merchants, drifters, and the occasional raiders. Even monsters were commonplace, and expected at all times. Though one thing neither one had expected was a necromancer. In all their time of travel, they had never encountered such a contradictory being..one who lived for death. And with this revelation, they both perished at the whispy hands of dark magics.
For reasons unknown to Opalle, this necromancer brought her back to life and enslaved her to his whims. Her friend, however, was left behind, though lucky enough to avoid the two years of servitude that Opalle had to endure in her skeleton state. She watched as the flesh dropped from her bones, until nothing but a poorly adorned skeleton was left behind. Luckily for her, a much kinder soul happened upon the poor skeleton of a woman and freed her from the necromancer's trap while he slept, effectively removing her bond from the death-raiser. Much to her chagrin, her savior was a skeleton as well, and a dashing one at that (well, as much as a skeleton can be). With new freedom, she set off on a new adventure.

Choice of Weaponry: Bow and arrows, and only the best of them.

Garb: Overly worn and torn tunic and leathers, not much more than that.

Personality: She's absolutely diabolical and cocky, though she can sober up when needed. She's intelligent through and through, and it shows both in her experience on the road, and in her smart mouth. In her years of death, she has grown carefree and nonchalant to most matters, though the rush of battle and hunting is still not lost on her. Opalle retained her thirst for coin as well, seeing it as a small luxury of the living that she could still hold on to.

In another life, the creature was Lionel Whitedrake, brave knight and dragon slayer. Nowadays it is Helmut, seeker of coin and warrior for hire.

Centuries, it must have been. Not that the creature can truly remember whatever the case may be.

Race:
Whitewashed bones groan and creak, and an unrest soul rises from it’s final resting place. The sight of the armored skeleton is a ghastly one.

Where there is coin, the creature can promise it’s aid.

Appearance/Description:
Helmut is of average height, with hidden strength imbued by necromantic energies. It walks with a head held high, purpose in every step taken. One might believe the creature thinks itself a man.

Backstory/Bio:
The creature was not always as such. In time’s long forgotten, it was a boy. The boy was named Lionel, firstborn son of the proud Whitedrake family. Lionel was trained from an early age the ways of the sword, and of the shield. A good sword to plunge deep into the hearts of beasts and men, and a better shield to protect against a wyrm’s fiery breath or a rival opponents own weaponry. Lionel was training to become a knight.

And so, time passed, and the boy was no longer. Now a man stood in his place. The man was named Lionel, firstborn son and knight of the proud Whitedrake family. Lionel was regarded far and wide for his skill with a sword, and with a shield. They say he turned the fiery breath of dragons to ice, how fearful they were of his presence. The time for slaying dragons had ended though. Now the country turned to war. Man against fellow man, kin against kin. This was so much simpler than dragon slaying, yet undoubtedly more complicated. The first few skirmishes went well for Lionel. So did the first battle. The knight had distinguished himself, and was given command of a large company. Indeed, Lionel was nigh on unstoppable, no man could best him in fair combat. The rebels knew this, and had grown to be afraid. So they bested him the only way they could. With trickery. The knight rode upon his horse, comfortably safe within his own lands. He was on leave to visit his wife and fledging daughter. It had been so, so long since last he saw them both. Indeed, he was comfortably safe within his own land. So he did not expect the two arrows that plunged their way deep into his back, nor the sensation of tumbling from his horse down the bank and into the river that lay on his left. The river carried him far, and he became washed up in some subterranean cave. The knight tried to move, or call for help, but the pain was far too great. Lionel was dying.

And so, time passed, and the man was no longer. Now a creature lay in his place. Decades later, an enterprising necromancer came upon the creature. The spell was cast, and the collection of bones now known as Helmut rose. There was a problem for the living, however. The spell was cast improperly, and the creature was under no oath to it’s supposed master. The young necromancer’s blood stained the cave rocks, and his deceased body took the creature’s place lying at the bottom of that forsaken hole in the ground. Unsteadily it shambled out of the cave, wisps of memory tugging at it's mind. The creature paid them no heed, and strode into the world.

Choice of Weaponry:
The creature fancies a sword and shield, it believes them to be staunch weapons.

Garb:
It wears the same armor in death that it wore in life… or what’s left of it at least. Steel plate and iron links protect this knight’s ancient bones.

Personality:
The creature is as complex as a dwarven puzzle cube. Indeed, sometimes it is vocal, and other times silent. Sometimes callous and pragmatic, and in some situations almost caring. It's true intentions and feelings can never be gleamed through it's unchanging face. Helmut is highly unpredictable. However, there is one consistency. If there’s a job somewhere, you can stake your life that the creature will find it.

Backstory/Bio: His name was given to him by the Ironbanes, leaving him not satisfied with his last name. He was always used as a weapon in the war since he was one of the most successful Ironbanes on the battlefield. Although he was a great fighter and an excellent killing machine, he was a very smart giant. After being called one more time on a mission to kill a VIP, Colt was offered the opportunity to leave the Ironbane. Even though he didn't respect the Ironbane ideology anymore, he already made so many enemies on all sides. His life and survival is now in his own hands.

Backstory/Bio: Zed is the son of Leollys and Crim. He is older than his twin brother, Gaelin, by 10 minutes. Zed has his father’s hair and build but his mother’s features, especially his deep, forest green eyes. He was born on the road after the defeat of the Ironbanes. He trained his entire life and ended up becoming the Commander of his fathers personal guard.

Backstory/Bio: Gaelin was born 10 minutes after his brother. Even as a child, he found more interest in scholarly pursuits and the path of magic. He was taught by Marco Haas for 15 years and finished his tutelage under his mother. However, he was the son of a king, so he still had a knowledge of combat. He didnt take to it as well as his brother, but he could handle himself.

Personality: Gaelin was curious and always wanting to learn. As he grew older, however, his curiosity became a lust for knowledge and power. This lust made him strive to be the best he could.
