[IC] The Hero's Inn

The sun started to set in the MoonLake village, with it most of the bussines in the village started to close so their owners could rest...Or have some fun in the only bussines which is open all night: The Hero's Inn, being the only place that could offer some enterteining in the village it would only be normal that most peole gathered there.

Tear was not an exception, after hitting iron all day it was obvious she would want to relax. After taking a long bath she locked the doors and slowly walked towards the village. By that time it was already night, she put her hands in the pockets of her fur coat and just walked silently, the road was iluminated by the full-moon.

"A perfect night for some mead.."

Seeing the breeze in the sky while looking at the beautiful view of the sun setting, the sights of a village not too far ahead brought relief on this young woman riding on the back of her gryphon. With a smile being made seeing there's population somewhere close by while the sun was going down, Zaldana spoke to the gryphon "Okay Ruby, we are going to rest for the night. Let's drop down to that village there and see if we can get a room."

As the winged beast started swooping down, it leveled out as it landed and stood on all fours while Zaldana got off "Good girl...thank you for being so good to me. I'll let you rest." she said as the gryphon saw a trough full of water and trotted over to it to take a drink until it finished as Zal came and make it poof away for the time being. She looked around "Hmm....I wonder what kind of town this is. Are are they kind to strangers?" as she noticed some lights a buildings over and walked over that direction to get some type of service while her gear was on her back and her spear and shield were strapped together in her hand walking to see who she could find to help her.

Charles would step off from the path that connected the village and his valley, he would look to the sky closing his eyes taking a deep breath from the night sky. The hood he normally wore would be down so he could enjoy the night sky, thanks to not having the sun's irritating rays on his back, granted it couldn't fully destroy him but it still was an agitating feeling. He would be a rare sight in the village, normally only reason for him to show up would be if special herbs or books was being sold all of a sudden, or if he needed regular supplies.. primarily not to seem suspicious even if he didn't need the basic supplies mostly. He would look at the various people going towards the same destination as him, The Hero's Inn. He supposed some was going there to spend the night while others was planning to just enjoy the night before turning in to their respective homes.

Charles would give a sigh of relief before heading towards the Inn himself, taking note of travelers that leave the biggest impressions.

Sithilerin moved through the forest with relative haste. A lumbering camp belonging to village decided to set up in a place it wasn't welcomed. Sithilerin would make sure they got the message. The night was perfect and as he slithered his way to the camp, a thick fog would surround the camp. The lumberes would get slightly uncomfortable as a foggy forest always was a scary thought. They began to talk about today's work with Sithilerin lunged through the fog immediately attacking one of the workers. This sent them into a blind panic. Rumors about a massive serpent had always been talked about but hardly any believed it existed. Sithilerin would surround the group with hos massive body. Slowly cutting off any hope of an exit. This would look like a monster toying with prey to most but Sithilerin was actually giving them time to run if they decided. Most of them did. There was one poor soul who didn't. Sithilerin opened his mouth revealing rows of fangs. A loud scream of horror followed by muffled sounds was soon cut short and Sithilerin swallowed him whole. Screams aboit the serpent would soon reach the Hero's Inn.

Tear walked silently into the village, there was quite some noise because of the people standing outside the inn, drinking mead,they talked about how was their day while enjoying the fresh of the night.

"Good night"
She told every person she came across the street until she finally got into the inn, she took of her coat, leaving it on the chair she was going to sit on, but first she went to the bar counter to get some mead.

No one suspected of what has happened in the forest

As Zaldana walked into the bar and walked over to the counter, she spoke up to the bartender "Hey there...would you happen to know who I could talk to to get a room for the night in this town?" She asked as she lookEd over at this other female next to her "oh! Hi...." she said not noticing her at first.

Charles would look off into the distance a his ears twitched from the sound, he would shake his head and keeps quiet, deciding not to act until a more regular person did. he would enter the Inn and head up to the bar, he would notice the new comer talking to tear, he would raise a brow before taking a seat near them and orders something light from the bar to sip on.

Sithilerin contemplated the existence of the village. It had always caused trouble for the forest. Though nothing that required full attention. He moved to the border of the forest and the village. He barely hid behind the trees. His jaw then unhinged, making a spine shivering crackle sound. Soon a pair of legs would pop out of his mouth. A full body was attached and it turned out to be the one man Sithilerin swallowed whole. When Sithilerin swallowed him, he coated the man in the healing venom which kept him from being digested. The man was unconscious. Everything would be fine. Another one to spread a terrifying rumor about the giant serpent. Who would believe a man who would say he was swallowed whole anyway. Sithilerin turned around and slithered back into the forest.

How beautiful and sad is the setting sun... light lets darkness take over * Quarion looks over the setting sun near Moonlake village* Alas...at least i have found a town, I will need to a good sleep and some food before continuing my journey. * He heads in into the village, a cloak on himself so he wont bring any attention on his eyes or ears*

Now where could i find a inn...hmm... * He walks a bit of time and eventually manages to find it * Well..lets head in

"Oh. Hello there. New in town eh?"
Tear asked kindly. She knew everyone in the village and this girl talking to her was obviously a newcomer.
The bartender left a tank of mead on the counter for the blacksmith, as she always ordered the same.

"Yeah I'm new. I'm Zaldana. Just stopping by. Would you happen to know if there's any rooming available here?"

"I'm sorry, but I don't run the inn. Im just the town's blacksmith"

She said with a soft smile, then looked at the innkeeper and made a hand signal so he would bring something to eat.
"You should ask the innkeeper or his wife"

"Damn....okay" looking at the innkeeper, walking to him to ask for a room for the night. She looked back at the woman "I'm sorry I don't think I caught your name?" She said.

"Just call me Tear~"

She said with a charming smile before sipping some mead, then she looked at the town's bard. She did nit like his personality but she had to admit he was good at music

After traveling non-stop for three days, Rowan finally came across a small town. He'd been camping out in the woods like he usually did. He preferred being surrounded by nature and the animals; it made him feel at home. Humans and other kinds of people often irritated him and always questioned by he would brush his hair daily. Couldn't a man have nice hair? It didn't matter right now; Rowan hadn't eaten anything in a while, and he was too tired to go out and hunt game. So instead of heading for the forest like he usually did he headed straight towards the town's Inn.

Once inside, Rowan walked up to the counter and grinned at the man behind the wooden counter. "Hey, old man, got anything good to eat?" He could just get a bowl of broth and some mead then camp out in the forest. He wouldn't have to deal with that these people called music and their drunken laughter. Rowan decided on a small bowl of broth and some dried meat. He paid for his food and sat down as further away as he could from the bard. It was terrifying to think people actually enjoyed that.

* Quarion enters the inn and heads towards the innkeeper* Well...lets get a drink and some info from here * He looks at the person at the bar * One round please

She met with the innkeeper who told her about one of the rooms he had. It was affordable, from the coin that Zaldana had on her. She was given a key for her room and afterwards turnEd around to listen to the music. Looking around and meeting Tear, she felt she may be the best person to talk about the town. She did seem quite nice.

Charles would listen to the conversations happening around in the Inn while he sipped on his drink. He would start to think if he should move on from this place yet. He would pull out a small powdery package and rip it open pooring it into his drink, stirring then continues to drink, this time bit bigger gulps. He would look towards the two girls and shake his head before looking at the new person entering the Inn. An elderly couple would approach Charles and seem to start a conversation with him he nods, and pulls out a flask from his robes and hands it to the couple. They would try to pay him and he just shook his head waving the money away then turns back to his drink. "Peaceful place.... good in most conditions" he mumbles to himself.

The villages peace would be cut short by the sounds of several panicked schemas. Just then, several people barged into the Hero's Inn. "It attacked us! It ate John!" The people who barged in had looks of pure terror in their eyes. "It was a giant serpent. It swallowed John whole! We were at the lumbering camp. It got foggy and then it attacked. Th...that thing....it was massive. It looked like it could swallow a lion without a problem." On another note. While the few did act like scared children, it could give ride to a scary feeling. Those men were lumber jacks. Big burley fellows who had arms bigger than watermelons.

Sithilerin slithered away by the border of the village as he was heading. Into the forest. He was distracted however when he heard to adults calling out for someone. They sounded worried. Sithilerin could then hear what sounded like a little girl huming. Sithilerin eased his was up behind her. She seemed to be playing with a doll. "What is a little girl like you doing alone out here?" His massive body coiled around the little girl. She was too young to understand what a monster. She couldn't have been older than three or four. "Playing." The girl said in an excited tone. Sithilerin chuckle. His voice was rather uncomfortable. It felt like it would make ears bleed to anyone who had an idea on what a soothing voice sounded like. "Is that so?" His body surrounded the little girl. "You know it's very dangerous to be out alone especially at night." It was obvious to see the girl was getting alittle nervous. "Don't worry. I'll protect you." His body now completely wrapped around the little girl. He curled in a way that lift her into the air. He opened his mouth revealing his fangs. One popped out more than the others. The pair looked really odd compared to others. It had purple veins wrapped around them. He was inching his head closer to ward the little girl when he heard the screaming. It was the girls parents. He immediately dropped the girl in a manor that wouldn't harm her and fled into the forest.

"The hell?! The giant snake the elders always talk about?!"

Tear shouted, she stood up quickly almost dropping the mead tank to the floor.

"We have to act quickly..! Damn! All my gear is at home!"

She punched a table.
