The Hüeller Morgann Institute is a prestigious private academy that accepts gifted - but troubled - teens. Students who come to the academy are undeniably intelligent, each one specially gifted with a set of skills. Unfortunately, these adolescents are troublesome. The academy runs on a scholarship, and accepts students who need to be reformed, in order to ensure these gifts are used properly and these students become contributing members to society.

Though applications can be submitted, HM rarely accepts those who apply. Those who are accepted through applications are required to pay at least a portion of the tuition, few who apply are accepted on a scholarship basis. Typically, students receive letters of acceptance, without any prior knowledge of being considered. HM has its eyes all over the world, watching, listening for candidates for their scholarships. The school is funded through generous donations from affluent people the world over, interested in the reformation and training of truly gifted teens. Occasionally, when truly breathtaking talent is hard to find, Hueller will accept extremely children of prestigious and affluent families, willing to play a premium for their child to be disciplined.

Those select students lucky enough to gain a place at the Institute need not worry about the costs of student life. The Institute provides superb student accommodation on site, each student sharing a spacious apartment with one or two others in the luxurious student quarters. An exquisite cafeteria offers food to the students all day long, free of charge, something available at all times. There are only two things the students need to worry about: keeping up their performance and behavior. The Institute demands are high and those that fail to meet it, are dropped mercilessly.

The skills that gain one admittance to the institute vary, but nearly all are based on practical-usage. It is rare to find a student on scholarship for art-based skills such as painting, drawing, or sculpting. Some have been accepted, but those were extreme cases of truly breathtaking talent. The same applies for the more physical skills such as martial arts or fighting, dancing, or other related skills. The schools most common accepted talents are based in sciences and maths. But it is not only the studious that earn places at the institute. They keep an eye out for raw talent, whatever the field may be. Those particularly skillful are welcomed just the same.

The school, situated in a large mansion, houses about 60 students at any time. Placed in a very rural setting, the nearest large city is about an hour away, which students are allowed to visit in their weekends, and occasional evenings off. The school has very extensive grounds, offering many sporting and game facilities. The students quarters is designated in a separate, four-story building, each year its own floor, six rooms to each.

But as a new group of students start their first year at Hüeller Morgann, it seems that perhaps, the school really is too good to be true. Something fishy is going on at the institute, some hidden agenda being played. As students begin to notice strange things about their upperclassmen, a group of the gifted students become aware that not everything at the Hüeller Morgann Institute is as it seems. But can they find out what is really going on, before it is too late?

In this rp, everyone will be playing first-years and if we can all keep our characters varied, with different skills and talents of possible. Also, no one is perfect, so please stick to one or two things your character excels in, rather then being good at everything. Age range for first-years is generally between 17-19. Once some interest is shown, we will divulge a bit more about what is happening at the school. And, based upon talents, certain people will be told things their student may notice about the school and its students and professors. However, we don't plan to give away the reveal until a bit into the story. At first, this will be a typical "school" roleplay, until the things the school is hiding are able to come into play.
