@Vec That is the problem. The RP might seems slow, but stuff happens behind the scenes. But not everybody has that initial plotting going on.

@Flynn Why not leave Derpville as it is, an NPC grand duchy, and if anyone who comes along wants to take it up, they can do so. But otherwise, it is quite central to the history of a couple of other provinces and it remaining there would be quite helpful.

Chugo is crafty enough to try and get Bastien sent off to quell some rebellion, only to arrange for an unfortunate encounter with some bandits on the road...

But he wouldn't kill Bastien. Oh no. He'd kidnap and sell the guy into slavery or something.
