"You have to push harder this time. If you want the higher scores, you have to push harder. Keep your fingers straight! Point your goddamn toes! You're old enough not to be making these mistakes." A figure stood ten meters off the ground, toes wiggling over the edge of the blue platform they stood on. Ten metres below a man shouted, yelling and teaching from the distance beneath her. "Push harder. Keep straight. You won't make so much of a splash if you concentrate!" The figure moved back over the board and placed her hands down flat onto the surface. To hands pushed down, legs slowly lifting above her head. Shakily, she raised her legs completely, balancing over an over all 15 metre drop. "Push hard off you arms and bring your legs in as soon as you lift off." The man yelled again, with the girl straightened her legs and pointed her toes. Elbows bent and her body pushed off the board.

Wind sped immediately past her ears as she twisted and turned. She could hear his voice still, though the words were less clear. Soon however, she heard the sound of water rushing against her, hearing its noiseless and echoy presence in her ears. The girl turned in the water and rose slowly to the surface, pushing the clear liquid out the way with her hands. Her head broke the surface of the water and everything had changed. The swimming pool was no longer a pristine white, blue and green. Now it was dirty, overgrowing with plants and mould. She turned in the water and looked towards her coach as he shifted and changed. Panicking, the girl hurried towards the side of the pool and lifted herself out. The Runner opposite screamed a hideous noise and hurried his way towards her, running with a white rage that couldn't be described. The girl looked down at her clothes, it wasn't a swimsuit anymore. In her right arm stood her bow, the other an arrow. The girl stepped back as the runner made it to her side of the pool, foaming and gurgling. A exhale of breath and the girl let an arrow loose, it landing just underneath his chin. Enough to kill him. She walked overly slowly, ready to hurt him again if he hadn't died. The coach gurgled and moaned, reaching for her as he slowly died. His hand reached out for her's and she immediately tugged it back. However, the grip was too strong. Looking down at the man, he'd changed.

"Run. Dont die."

***

"Wake up." Andrew said, shaking her shoulder. "Emilie wake up. We're moving." The girl who'd spent most of the night sleeping off a two day exhaustion slowly came too and stood slowly from the tree she slept against. Around her, people were waking and packing up their belongings. It was a long trip, but the promise of sanctuary was too great. They'd heard over the radio of a place in Montreal, a huge self sustaining town, with doctors, farms, schools, beds, and no infected. However, the distance they had to cover was far too much. She pushed herself to her feet and grabbed up her bag. "If we keep along the highway, we should reach state lines soon enough. We'll be in Wyoming by dusk, so long as we keep up a pace." Andrew added, the familiar hand of his wife holding his shoulder gently.

It was no lie that the group was failing. They'd lost three in the last week and one of them had been left without warning, without a note. People felt bad of course but that was how things went. If someone got sick, they'd be left behind. If someone coughed, or complained on a bad headache, they'd be shot. It was no mystery that the infected were still alive, the pained screams upon death were clear. The group had seen one too many kill themselves over the noise. Emilie pulled her quiver around her belt and set about helping the others pack their belongings back up and get ready for what would be an intensely long work.
"We'll eat around ten. We should have a good few hours more of distance between us and the university then. I'd rather not stop for breakfast here. At least on the highway we can see them."

Mary moved through the group and stopped Emilie in her tracks.
"Don't dwell on it. He was a good man but none of us could have helped him." The older woman smiled, soon pulling her into a hug and holding her close. The previous few days had been eventful. The lack of resources and real medicine had dropped to a minimum. The idea of raiding the nearest town had been too far away, however the university campus had been a clever idea. Only the place was filled with more infected than anyone had thought. A team of five had gone in, and only three had come out. One good man, who went by the name Nick, had gotten himself trapped and eaten. The other, a good man, who'd been there since the beginning. The man who'd brought them all together. Milo had been his name. With no sign of escape, he'd taken up a torch and turned down the opposite hallway, giving Emilie and her two remaining team members a chance of escape. It was something Emilie would probably never get over.

A slow yawn rose from Marc's mouth as he sat atop his rucksack, the chatter and shuffling of those packing around him only white noise in his ears as he slowly slid a small smooth stone along the blade of his carving knife. He began to hum to himself as his mind drifted to the home he and Nick had to leave behind. His blade collection and the several guns their father had kept around... If only they'd listened to him when the smoke started rising on the outskirts of town. 'Just a bonfire' they'd said... Within hours he and Nick we-.... With a little groan, Marc's hands froze and he looked up, scanning the horizon for his brother. Nowhere to be seen. He got up then and scanned again, his heartrate picked up speed as he began to worry. "Fuck man, where did you g-..." Nick coming from around a tree made him cut his speech off and sigh with relief...

Nick stretched and cracked his neck before folding his hands as he strode back into camp and crouched to begin packing his things up when his brother spoke up.

"Where the hell did you go?"

"Dude. I went to go piss. Chill."

"You know damn well you're supposed to say something before you go so much as five feet from the camp."

"I'm not a fuckin' baby, okay? I'll go take a leak whenever I want."

"Now what if someone had heard you and shot you thinking you were infected, huh?"

"Do I look infected to you? Stop treating me like a kid Marc. I can handle myself more than you could."

"That's not the point! The point is to..." Marc just groaned and pinched the bridge of his nose before standing to shoulder his ruck. "Fine, whatever man... Just get packed." With that said, he walked off. The two got into little spats like this all the time, but it never lasted too long.

A soft sigh escaped Annie's lips as she closed her backpack up with her supplies. It was another dreadful morning, another day of living on the road as the group fought for survival. Annie hated it. She hated leaving Washington without going back to see if her parents were still alive, she hated scavenging for food, she hated all the killing and death that occurred and above all, she hated leaving her brother behind. She often timed pondered over the fact of ending the torment instead of struggling everyday but the thought of failing and becoming infected while weak frightened her enough to not try. However, she knew that she had to stay optimistic and knowing that things would get better soon, it was easier to do so. She would be safe once she made it to Montreal. She wouldn't have to run anymore nor be scared, life could start to become normal again. Sliding her backpack onto her back, she walked over towards Cameron who was crouching in front of his bag to see if he needed any help.

"Hey kid, are ya' all packed up?" Cameron said with a slight smile as he carefully placed the coiled rope he had into his bag.

"Yeah, need any help?" Annie asked as she passed the man's duct tape to him.

"Nah, I'm about done." Cameron said as he accepted the tape and tossed it into his bag. Standing up, Cameron stretched his arms upwards as he released a small yawn. Looking around the camp, it still felt weird that Milo wasn't there. Although he wasn't a part of the team that went to the University, he heard enough from the trio to know what happened. Although a bit saddening, it seemed fitting for Milo to go out with a bang with a heroic death as he did instead of any other means. Cameron only hoped that the man didn't become one of the infected. Killing someone that he knew that became infected was one thing he hoped that he wouldn't have to do as the group made their way to Montreal.

Glancing towards the two brothers nearby, Annie gave a small chuckle before speaking to Cameron in a hushed tone. "It looks like the two are at it again."

Emmet slammed his foot down onto the steel underneath his foot. His daughter, crying and screaming in fear in the back as Emmet's now deformed wife desperatley tried to break the window and eat her own daughters face. Emmet had to think quickly, emotions couldn't take over now or he could be turned into food for some sort of monster. The car responded to the pedal being pressed down and promptly reversed, catching his wifes arm on the wingmirror and dragging her to the pavement. What followed was an hour of driving that felt like a year. Emmet stopped when none of the chaotics of the mutated deformities that he had seen in the city. He turned to his daughter
"Are you o-" Was all he could muster before his car was hit by an 18 wheeler. Emmet woke up, bloody and bruised. When he regained sense he looked at his surroundings, the turned over car, skid marks of 18 wheels, fire. He stumbled upwards, holding his stomach. His daughter was nowhere to be found.

~~~~~~
Emmet woke up sweating. He dreamt about the faithful events of that day most every night. Every morning he woke up the same way. He was awake before most people, they would be moving soon and now was the optimum time to start packing. Emmet didn't have much to pack, a few rations and whatnot and he was done. An hour or two later and most people were up, packing their own things. The loss of Milo, the leader had hit the group hard, he was a natural born leader that was hard not to be friends with. He even made it his personal duty to help Emmet try and find his daughter. Emmet wasn't sure the group would still accept this sidetracking.
From up in the branches, a snoring woman sprawled out on her stomach slept. As soon as the sun hit her eyes they shot open and her hands clung to the branch she had so precariously balanced on as she slept. It was an advantage to easily sleep on higher ground than her group. It's what kept her alive before afterall. Rena slowly stood up on her thick branch, stretching out and scratching her back where a spider had chosen to nibble during the night.
Ah... now.. where was everyone? She looked around, vaguely recalling they had decided not to sleep in a clump. With a shrug and another stretch, She took her pack from the branch hanging beside her, pulled her jacket around her waist, and ran along the branch. She leaped from the one she was on to grab the branch of the next tree over, her taut and thick muscles moving visibly beneath her flesh as she hoisted her legs up to grab the branch she held with her arms and pull herself up. She continued this process till she was up to the top of the tree. Panting, but feeling warmed up, she scanned the horizon. Ah. Yes, the town was just southeast. Perfect.
She skipped down the branches, at one point allowing herself to free fall before grabbing the branch nearest the ground and letting herself down much gentler than what her higher fall would have provided before jogging to meet up with everyone gathering. A big grin was spread on her face. "Yo!"
Let the games begin.
"Elise?"
"Yeah?"
"I had a nightmare."
Elise grunted, pushing herself up into a sitting position. She ran a hand through her coarse, fuchsia, doll-like hair - damaged from god knows how many dye jobs and straighteners and beauty treatments which she no longer cared about as much. Her blue eyes were no longer kind, hardened into two icy steel stones as she glared at her own little sister with something akin to disappointment. Sarah, of course, just smiled back at her wearily.
"What was the nightmare about?" asked Elise idly, as she checked through her supplies for the sixth time.
"Mum and dad," replied Sarah. She clutched her teddy-bear, Brian, in one hand as she nibbles through a survival biscuit.
Elise froze for a good two minutes, staring solidly at her gas mask. She hated talking about mum and dad to Sarah, but they seemed to become a much less important topic as the days crawled by. Then, as if someone breathed life into her limbs again, Elise continued double checking that everything she had before was still there. "Mum and dad are dead, Sarah." she sighed.
"Yeah, I know, doesn't mean I don't have nightmares about them." retorted Sarah irritably. By now, she was also checking through her smaller travel backpack, ensuring that everything was there. For a moment, the silence between the two was so tense and heavy that someone could have cut through it with a blade.
"I'm missing a filter for my gas mask." idly commented Sarah, double-checking the haversack which she kept the filters in. Elise looked up, and her expression turned colder. It was no secret that she constantly suspected the rest of the group to either be infected entirely, or wanting to get in on her secret 'supply spots' which, to be fair, only Elise actually knew about. She stood up, her worn-down combat boots crunching the undergrowth, and there was a click as she pushed out the knife from her Swiss army knife.
"Don't worry, I'll go and...ask, the others if they saw it." snarled Elise, eyeing the rest of the group in the distance with distrust. Sarah gulped - she didn't like the fact that Elise was so prone to wanting to stab someone. Again, she reminded herself that Elise was, most certainly, no longer that little girl in New York anymore, the one who looked less and less real every day. Then her fingers curled around a black filter in the grass beside her haversack.
"No, no, I found it!" cried Sarah hastily, and Elise stopped in her tracks. There was another click as she put the knife away, and stuffed the Swiss army knife into her pocket. The pair of them zipped their bags up in silence, and made their way to the others.
Like some sort of rabid monkey, Elise noticed something flying between the branches of a nearby tree. Her hand went to her bloodied white sheath, where she kept her stolen katana, and didn't flinch from its position when she realized it was just Rena. "Just Rena" was an understatement, too. Elise stood protectively in front of Sarah, and muttered "Stalker material if I ever saw one" snidely to her little sister, clearly gossiping about the strange woman at just the right volume to have Rena hear it.
Sarah frowned, flicking the juvenile on the arm for trying to stir up trouble in the group. At once, Elise let her arms fall to their sides, and slid her shoulders down in a sulking, irritated sort of way. It would be quite amusing to watch a little girl stop someone as intimidating as Elise from doing anything 'bad'. But then again, the relationship between Elise and Sarah was quite amusing overall.
"Let's just get going," snapped Elise irritably. She stomped past Rena, and to the front of the group. Neither of them looked that fussed over the deaths that happened yesterday, albeit it was rumored that Sarah spent half the night crying over it, and Elise eventually rolled over and had to talk to her and comfort her about the deaths. Especially Milo's.
Andrew turned his eyes over the map again, concentrating over and over it like a book. They needed to keep close to the highway. No doubt there would be infected there, it wasn't unlikely that they weren't going to come across them. It was certain. No matter where they went. They were a large group, certainly, and safety usually came in large groups. Yet so did a lack of it. Siblings would help siblings and friends would help friends. He'd already made Mary swear not to save him. He wasn't losing her because of himself. Two brown eyes looked over the group, watching his wife wonder round to check everyone was still healthy; perhaps could never stopped being a doctor.
"Hey, Earl. Show us where this town is." Andrew shouted, taking the near-empty Biro out of his pocket and the compass he had taken from what remained of Milo's things. If there was a town nearby, they could easily split into two groups, maybe even three and search for supplies. That way, they'd certainly not be eaten freezedried rations again. He was desperate for something whole and nourishing.
Mary had always made it her job to see to the health of everyone in the group. The last thing they needed was something affecting them all. Mary left Emilie to douse the small fire they'd made and moved over to each group. She usually checked wounds and temperatures, however things were a little more intimate with the ladies. It was always easier to jump in the deep end first. She tucked her handgun with her husband and walked over towards Elise and Sarah.
"Hey, you both okay? Andrew has the idea to do a stock run in the next town. If you guys need anything, I think me and Rena can grab you something extra if your hands are too full." In the short few months everyone had been travelling together, it had become a well established thing, doing supply runs with a woman who seemed to excel in climbing over walls and broken down buildings. "If you need anything though, feel free to say." She passed another smile and waited a few seconds. It was tense alright, even more obvious that Elise didn't exactly trust everyone. It made a lot of sense, there wasn't much trust going around these days.
Mary took her attention elsewhere shortly after and moved over to Rena.
"How you feeling?" She asked, walking over slowly. "We're stopping in the next town, we could use a hand grabbing some supplies." Mary grabbed a few belongings off the floor and passed them over to Emmett. She continued down with Rena and stopped closer to her husband and his map. "Rena and I will pick up supplies, if need be." Andrew quickly turned his head and frowned. Mary knew how this worked, she carried a radio, if anything happened, anything at all, she rang Andrew and then everything would usually be okay.
Emilie moved through the small crowd and dropped her bag down by Cameron and Annie. She opened her bag again and fumbled over a small set of supplies she'd found in the university the night before.
"Here, I found these." She handed over a small makeup bag and a hair brush. "We found it in one of the rooms." Annie would probably find more use for it than herself. It allowed a person to feel more at home. Home, for Emilie was in a pool, swimming. It was a little harder to find than most things in the state of the current world.
**Apologise for the assuming with Rena, however it was possibly needed as I couldn't continue my post. Also, could find a way to fit Nick and Marc in as of yet, but I'll grab them in once Earl replies.**
Marc had strode to the center of the camp and silently watched Emilie douse the fire with a container of unpotable water the group kept for just that. He stood for a few moments, fuming at his brother and worrying about how he was going to get himself killed before finally kicking at one of the bits of moist, charred wood with a grunt as she walked away to do her business. Slowly, his gaze turned to the sky as he thought wistfully about feeling safe, thumbs looping into the belt loops of his fatigues. He wore his old uniform because it was sturdy, had lots of pockets, and... It had been in his rucksack when he'd grabbed it that first day and loaded it with food eaten long ago. The young man sighed and then looked around the camp, cocking an eyebrow as he watched Rena swing about the trees and then land... "Wish I'd learned to do shit like that before all this..." Then he spotted Andrew with the map and strode up and would have peered over the other man's shoulder if he weren't a measly 5"7'. Though he did speak up despite the fact Andrew had yelled for Earl. "What's the issue?"
Nick finished packing his bedroll and whatnot into the dufflebag he had for it, shotgun on his back as he held the bat leaned back on his shoulder. He grinned just a little bit and stretched his neck, looking around for something to do. After a few moments of debating, he reached down and picked up his duffle, carrying it with him as he moved over to Elise and Sarah, a grin painted across his face. He was convinced to the core that all of Elise's sourness was an act, and he was trying to make her drop it. Sarah was just... Well, she was sweet enough, but she'd not said much to him. "Good morning ladies," He began, looking at them both in turn. "And how'd you sleep?"
"Hey Emilie." Annie said with a slight smile as she greeted the woman as she joined her and Cameron. Unlike a few people in the group who were a challenge to be genuinely friendly towards, Emilie was someone that Annie didn't have a problem liking. Watching curiously as the woman fiddled around with her bag, Annie's face lit up as Emilie handed her the supplies she found at the university. "Oh wow, thanks." Annie said gratefully accepting the items Emilie found. Growing up, she often heard how she was privileged compared to some families across the world by living in a house or having all the stuff she had but she never noticed how much it meant to her until the infection started when she saw how much the little things could mean to her.
"Hey Annie, I noticed that you were running low on water." Cameron said walking closer towards the two. "Why don't you take mine and split the water in half. From what it sounds like there's a town not too far away and we can fill them up then but you'll need some until then." Cameron said as he motioned towards his backpack where intentionally left it. As the girl left to do what Cameron said, the man turned towards Emilie and spoke in a hushed tone quiet enough so that the girl wouldn't hear either of them. "Thanks for doing that. Although she doesn't like to show it, it's been hard for her since she lost her brother."
"Oh I was wondering," The girl said heading back towards the to with Cameron's backpack in one hand. "Do you think when we have time you could help me out? I want to be able to help out more and be able to defend myself so I don't have to hold you guys back. I don't know if I'll be able to handle a machete like Cameron or an axe like Emmet but maybe something less gruesome like a gun or maybe a bow. I was thinking about trying to learn how to use both and was wondering if you could teach me how use a bow at a later time." Although the girl didn't like the idea of having to kill, she knew she would have to learn because Cameron and the others wouldn't be able to be there all the time.
**I'm okay with little minor controls like where Rena may move, I just ask you don't speak for her or try to kill her off without giving me a chance to react ^^**
Rena perked up even more and grinned at the prospect of fetching more supplies; it was one of her favorite parts of the game, simply because it was such an adrenaline rush to get everything before the time limit. "The town's just southeast," She explained to Mary. "We can be there and back again before noon unless the group wants to push forward, and we can meet them up on the other side of the town. Chances are infected are crawlin' through the place. No need for the little ones to see me become..." She paused to glance at Elise and Sarah, "A stalker, should that happen afterall."
She silently scoffed, recalling hearing Elise making a rude remark regarding her skills. Everyone knew the main character of the video game never died... at least, not until the very end of it in some cases.
Emilie made a short remark involving something that resembled gratitude as Annie thanked her for the gift. Honestly, she was just glad to be rid of it. The simple gift reminded her so much of Mill. Had she not suggested they take a route through the student accomadation, his death would not have happened. Handing the gift over, she quickly felt the guilt disappear, mostly.
"You're welcome." She smiled, soon enough busying herself with her bag and how once more. She stayed silent even as Cameron and Annie interacted. She often felt out of place from time to time. Everyone here pretty much had someone they could rely on, a friend from their life before.
She turned her head when conversation was directed towards her.
[b]"She doesn't need to say thank you. They weren't doing anything there. The girl whose room it was, she- we found her down the hall." It was a remorseful tone but a quick headshot had allowed her to die quickly and quietly. Thankfully, Annie returned seconds before the memory rose too much and she lost all control. "I-I can help. We've got some walking to do. It'll give you something to do." She smiled lightly, pulling her rucksack onto her bag.
"You know how Andrew feels about us being so close to infected." Mary added, taking up her weapons once more. "I suggest we clear things with him and Earl first." She walked over towards the small group that now included Marc.
"Earl spotted a town further down the highway. I'm not so sure if we should check it out. There's a high chance it's rammed with infected. There's an even greater chance some of them are fresh." Andrew commented, pointing it out on the map. "However, we are low on a fair amount of supplies."
Slowly, Marc nodded as he thought about it and looked at the map. It was a decent size town, so the infected would be large in number. He sighed after a few minutes and looked up to Andrew. I'm sure we could have a few people go and look in some of the buildings on just the edge of the town... Scout and check the general number of infected just walking around, find a house to hole up in for a night if things go too late, or just incase shit hits the fan." Once more, the young man looked to the map and run his finger along the road that lead up to it. "If we're keeping to the road anyway, we'll be passing through some of it anyway by the looks of it. Or were you planning on taking another route?"
Rena looked at where he pointed and rolled her eyes. "Marc," She said, leaning over the table, "You want infected nipping at your bubble butt?" She giggled. The infected weren't the only ones who wanted a bite outta the men here. Rawr. She pointed to an area, more covered than the rest. "You concrete walkers can take the main roads, but it'd be safer through here. I'd help out if there was anything too difficult for ya," It was funny to her how out of shape the NPC's here were.
"Thanks!" Annie said with a small smile. Turning her attention towards the rest of the group, the girl could see that the rest were forming up a plan for the day's event. "We probably should head over there and see what the others are planning."
Nodding in agreement, Cameron walked towards the rest of the group with Annie. From what he could catch, it sounded as if there was a plan to venture into the town. Although there was risk going into any town, they needed to gather more supplies. "Yeah, I agree with Marc. We can check out the building at the edge of town and then we can figure out a plan of action then. At least we'll have a chance to get some material then instead of skipping the town all together."
Andrew gave a sigh.
"Rena's right. There's a potential for close contact if we choose to take the route down straight into town. There's also the possibility of others, well, alive others. They'd see us coming. We'd be practically a perfect meal. Especially with the amount of kit we have." He hated nothing more than when things went wrong this way. "I think were best off taking this route." One finger pointed towards a road that entered the town from the East, and another few roads that spiraled off before entering the town.
Emilie followed the group and waited beside the gathered group. She had always chosen to stay away from these conversations, the fear of having everyone's death on her head was too much. However, she spoke up.
"I agree with Cameron. We should take a few houses at first and if things get hairy we can get out easier. As for groups, I suggest two. With radio contact."
Andrew took a moment, slowly and carefully thinking it over.
"How about Rena, Mary, Marc and myself? Emilie, Cameron and Annie in another? Well stay in houses next to each other and move only when the other is ready?"
Marc nodded, still looking at the map before he folded his arms and looked up. "If we can, we should find a single house that has a good basement and use that as our camp and fallback point... If we have one group in a house easily defendable, while the other's in one with windows galore, that just won't do now will it?... But barring a single good home, two separate points would do." He held his spear just under the head, lightly tapping at the ground with it as he thought about it. Then he looked to his brother who'd just now walked up looking much more disinterested than he should be. "You're going to go with Cameron, Annie and Emilie when we head up towards this town and split off into groups, alright?"
"Sounds good to me man." The younger of the two replied, bouncing the bat on his shoulder as he looked along the others around. "What are we running out of anyway?"
Rena listened as they spoke about spliting into groups, which she had no qualms about. It wasn't until Marc mentioned a possible fallback point that she stabbed her bowie knife into the middle of the map and looked up at mark. "Fuckin' Basement? Holed up in a house?" She scoffed at the cutie. "Were you just born into the apocalypse yesterday? Fuckin' infected show up they can too easily trap us in that basement. Nope. No way." She raised her hands up in a gesture of 'lol nope.' "You're not putting me underground."
She brought her hands back down to the map and looked at everyone who would be in her group. "You wanna run from the infected. Hidin' gets you killed. Fuckers smell fear. We should take the high ground. It may wear you out running uphill but it slows them down too."
Although she didn't like the idea of splitting the group up, Annie knew that it was a better option so that more ground could be covered. "We could always use some more food or water for our travels." Annie said in response to Nick's question. "Also there could be some valuable supplies in the houses we can use at a later time." That was one thing she hoped for. Although she is unsure whether or not she would be able to find a decent weapon yet, she was determined to continue to search for one until she came across some.
"Basement or not, we should probably head out and talk as we move. It's still early and we should use our time wisely." Cameron said as he sifted his backpack comfortably on his back.
Andrew's face stayed calm for a short moment in time, before the stress partially popped through.
"If there is infected in that town, basements is where they're going to be. It's dark and usually damp. Or at least spores." Mary moved over and placed a hand on his shoulder, glancing between Annie and Nick.
"We could use medicine too. I wrote list, it's mostly antibiotics and aspirin." She handed the paper over to Nick and waited for Andrew's response.
"Cameron's right. Pack up and well head out and think this through. We should be alright whilst the suns still up." Despite the fungus being a plant, so to speak, the infected seemed almost repelled. The darker and damper, the more infected. That was usually the reason Emilie stayed away from swimming pools despite them feeling like home. "Before we go into the town, well look for somewhere to stay the night. I would suggest finding warm blankets. We won't have fire tonight."
