Based from the expansive world of the Council of the Damned, I saw that my previous roleplay involving the entirety of the world was a little bit too much, and thus I am cutting it down to but a fraction of its true form. The War of the Burning Fields, a historical peak for the history of Arkus, the turning point of the legendary once-Paladin, Ko'roth. It was this war which eventually lead to Ko'roth's downfall, and becoming the first Warlock in existence.

Our world, Arkus, is an expansive one, many factions coexist, but the one we're focusing on, the Order of the Three Lights; an ancient order of righteous Paladins, Crusaders and Priests who dedicate their lives to eradicating evil and keeping order to Arkus - though, not all are devoted to the light. These zealots use the powers of Aether magic, and most remain as the synergistic alliance of steel and magic.

Our enemy, the primary foe of the War of the Burning Fields - Anth-Skreleng; the curse of hatred and fury upon our planet, dubbed the 'Aspect of Fury', Anth-Skreleng holds an immeasurable grudge against these Paladins of the Order, cursing their names as he speaks with his vile tongue. This Old God has remained somewhat passive over the decades, but only recently he summoned forth his subjects, slaves and warbeasts to tear at the flesh of his foes, scorching the earth beneath his destructive wake, he has eyes for the primary Paladin capitol of Paragon, for it is in Paragon where lies the greatest Paladin to live - Gia, the Old God of Hope, Breaker of Storms and the First Paragon. These two Old Gods war against each other, we must fight back against these blazing beasts and drive them back from whence they came.

The Order of the Three Lights has many commanders, leaders and whatnot, but few have been chosen to lead the force to drive Anth-Skreleng to the dirt:

Daross Shadowbreaker, one of the three primary leaders of the Order of the Three Lights, father to Imperion Shadowbreaker.


Imperion Shadowbreaker, youngest son to Daross Shadowbreaker - youthful yet adventurous, he takes after his standoffish father.


Gia, the grand Old God and one of the three primary leaders of the Order. Holds power beyond any man's wildest dreams.


Ko'roth, the main character for this storyline, Imperial Commander to the 344th Legion, right hand to Daross Shadowbreaker - a legend among men.


However, Anth-Skreleng has numerous generals, fiery demons of immense magnitude that command armadas of blazing monstrosities at their disposal:

Kill'reth the Dream-Eater, inflicts restless nights upon his foes, too big to enter the mortal realm, and thus resides behind the lines to torment the weak-minded.


Beleram, Molten Houndmaster - commands great packs of blazing hounds that can chew through thick steel and inflict mortal wounds upon those unfortunate enough to be at the receiving end of a hellhound.


Azrazor the Betrayer, once a renowned Wizard, he fell victim to the voracious lusts of power, he craved it, wanted it, and so he got it... for a price.


Peraxx'ozz, Sweeper of Corpses, this vile entity is the bane of the living, igniting everything he swings at, he can cleave a dozen heads in a single swing.



Anth-Skreleng, the great brute himself - this unbridled force befouls the environment around him, the blazing heat emanating from his charred body is so intense, it melts blades slowly in his local area. Able to turn solid rock into a molten fluid with his own two hands, the colossus is a force to be reckoned with, and woe to those brave enough to stand before him.



We, the Paladins of the Order, have quite the foe, we have a lot of work to do before we can even make a scratch against the enemy's forces, you must enlist, state your name, your age, gender, race and finally, your class:
