Personal Style: Elegance with a taste for the dramatic--she enjoys the gothic feel of the new world, having had a large role in creating it. Each time Meliscent goes out for the day, she looks entirely different than she did the day before.

Personality: In a conventional sense, Meliscent is willing to do anything to achieve her ends. She is constantly plotting and strategizing, recognizing the impact of each and every decision. To her, life is merely a game of chess, and she happens to be setting her pieces in motion for checkmate. This attitude, feeling as if she controls the world, has caused her to become more and more self centered over the years. She cares about herself and hardly for anyone else, becoming increasingly cruel in punishments over the year.
However, she maintains her composure and grace, appearing as the proper queen she pretends to be. She does get her hands dirty, but doesn't allow it to taint her public image. Inspiring and persuasive, Meliscent manages to get people to rally behind her, no matter how twisted her ideals truly are. There is an alluring quality to her, the same attraction that some experience for the most twisted and dark characters in books and films. She is all darkness and evils, drawing innocent souls and corrupting them, using them, and throwing them away once done.

History
Opinions On the World Order Given that this order is of Meliscent's design, she's quite happy with it. She allowed the other houses to remain in order to give some illusion of free will, hope, and independence. A strong believer that the illusion of free will is the opiate of the masses, Meliscent is content with things to remain the way they are. She no longer has to hide in the shadows or beg on the streets for crumbs--she (and her house) are on top.
Family History
The Greys were a rather impoverished family, local to England. For generations, they were scholars hardly able to furnish much of a living, instead passing the debt on to the next generation to deal with. Overtime, this debt became exponential, and Meliscent's father jumped into Thames in order to avoid the debt collectors. Being the youngest daughter in the family, Meliscent had not yet been married off. All of her other siblings had arranged marriages, and at her mother's insistence, Meliscent took to the streets.
Character Specific History She earned more at night than her father had been able to do by day. She continued to work as a Lady of the Night, and one day, the famed Oscar Wilde was one of her customers. He solicited her services, asking her to accompany him to public events in order to quell any rumors that he was a homosexual. He called her the Lady Grey and wrote one of his most famous novels for her--The Picture of Dorian Gray. For one summer, Meliscent pretended to be his lover, and he gave her a large sum of money for her services.
Using the money, she paid off her family debt just two weeks before her mother died of illness. Destitute and once again penniless, Meliscent grew bitter and returned to the streets, only with a different occupation. She became a contract killer, seducing men and poisoning them. The Lady Grey was the name she went by in business dealings, and this was quite successful, until one of her targets forced her to drink his blood. Within hours, Meliscent had attacked a drifter and drained him of his blood, and began her career as a vampire.
She continued her work as a contract killer, finding that it provided her wealth and food. She remained in this capacity for decades, enrolling in a university once they were properly open to women. The Lady Grey became a myth among criminal circles, yet those who contacted her for her services were never disappointed. It was Meliscent who organized the vampires to rise up once their numbers became too large, and due to her craftiness, she successfully organized the revolution.
In the wars, Meliscent served as the Queen of the House of Grey--named after her, of course. Cunning and cruel, Meliscent has survived numerous attempts at overthrow, growing more and more powerful by the day. She currently is engaged, yet there is no love there. It is merely a political alliance, and in secret, Meliscent is plotting to have her fiance killed.
She doesn't have any room for love.

Personality: Fell in love with the girl next door, who was two years his younger, and has stayed loyal to her throughout their 220 year marriage. He turned her once she reached the same age as he did at the age of 28. He stands up for the little person in all fights and now leads the House of Chronos along with his advisers.
Given the extended length of his relationship with his wife, his quirks are ever present in his day to day life and you will never see the ‘man’ without his cane, more befitting of the era he grew up in than the one he is now living in. His dress sense also comes from an earlier era and is considered one of the best, as he is often seen in 1920s apparel.
His stubbornness can at times cause friction among the leadership ranks and there are those that would see him ‘removed’, although his charm and wit save most of the blushes, there is sometimes a need for the adrenaline junky at heart to use that trigger-happy finger and kill a few people, which he is of course not adverse too.

History
Opinions On the World Order: Can not really believe that vampires triumphed in the way they did, but is very grateful of the outcome, as it lead to his rise through the House of Chronos eventually ending with him as leader. Has a general dislike of anything that is not a vampire, whether it be wolf, human or something else.
Has recently been trying to break deals with the House of Grey that go unheard as they see the House of Chronos as their main threat. Has also been trying to broker a deal of union to unite all vampires under one banner to defeat the wolves, humans and hybrids once and for all. Does not agree with the methods used by the House of Grey and does not agree with their enslavement of the wolves and humans.
Agrees with the House of Grey on the sole point of vampire dominance, other than this he is opposed to them in almost all ways.
Family History The Woodley family is one steeped in history, not all of it good. There are a couple of disgraced members who were pirates in the 1700s and then some that were on the wrong side of the English Civil War and only escaped with there lives. Given the tumultuous past of this family, the relative normality seen in the later 1800s and into the 1900s is rather strange for this, some would say, doomed family.
Character Specific History Born into a mildly wealthy family Cyprian Woodley found love in the early years of his life in the shape of his now deceased wife Scarlet. He was an extremely valued child as his parents had had three stillborn children before him. His parents moved north to Manchester and away from London when Cyprian was five years old. His father, a banker left all of this amassed wealth to his sole child, leaving his wife destitute and in an work house, she died at the age of 60, twenty years after her husband.
Cyprian and Scarlet had two children Rebecca and Erin, both daughters, who were turned by their father once they had reached adulthood and were trained and groomed for leadership in preparation to rule the House of Chronos alongside their father. This plan was scuppered when Erin was ambushed and assassinated by a group of werewolves and humans looking to break the reign of the vampires, this provided the drive her father needed to send out extermination teams to 'deal with' both sects. Rebecca rose through the ranks of the house and is now Cyprian's second in command.

History
Opinions On the World Order: Thinks that everyone should have an equal opportunity which the vampires are denying everyone bar themselves. Believes that the werewolves should do more to try and right the wrongs of the war, the war that led to them being treated like second class citizens. Both of the vampire houses are both equally to blame for the suffering of her race, for which she wants any kind of revenge. She sympathises with the humans as they are kept alive solely to be a blood bank for those in power and wishes to help them, just as much as she wants to defeat the vampires that oppress her and her kind.
Family History The Jones family knows no wealth or riches. Nor has it ever had any kind of power, yet it has major ripples throughout time as time and again members of this family commit acts of extreme bravery, heroism and at times treason. It was not until the species war that the family started to be really noticed by those in power as they had a knack of being around when major plays went down. That being said they never got given any power themselves, but as trusted endlessly by those with power.
Character Specific History She has found her way into the security detail of the high ranking werewolves of House Draugluin, how she has ended up there not even Victoria knows. She does her job and those in power notice her, she carries on doing her job, higher ranking people notice her more and more.
Most of her drive comes from seeing her sister, who was three years her senior, taken from her and her mother at the age of 15 never to be seen again, she pledged that day to her mother that she would avenge her sister and make whoever took her pay, in blood. To this day a picture of her sister is always on her person as a reminder, not that she needs one.
Her parents tried to give her the best upbringing they could, but stresses and strains took there toll on her father who died when she was only 3, leaving her mother to raise two girls on her own. Her mother blames herself fully for the taking of her eldest daughter and feels like it should have been her and that she should pay some price for her misjudgement.
Victoria found refuge in a group of teenagers who took the shape of jocks but also had an air of mystery about them as none of them did sport. This was and now is her pack, she was turned at her own request as it was the only place that she has ever felt at home.
