I've got an idea, so if it's the same people who experimented on Ari, would they want to know Shadowbirds secret identity? Because if Austin gets like brainwashed into giving them it then we could set up a sort of plot about taking them down and stuff.

I put his uncle had a closed casket funeral. no one knew his body wasn't really in there except for the funeral home people who had been paid to hand over Austin's body.

Yeah, I think it's safe to say they avoided his face, arms and upper chest so as to avoid messing up any of the grafting, but everywhere else is fair game for scars.
