Well if necisarry I won't mind making my character into a K9 and just running her like that, but I thought it would be interesting having her against the main player base, though I suppose being hunted has it's appeal as well. I dunno, are there any more non reserved spots left?
Well if you are allowed to do a second character would you be interested in possibly doing a sibling combo with one of my characters? Cause I wouldn't mind making her for K9 but honestly other than money I couldn't see any person in the group she could fully tolerate except maybe a couple (Your already created one included @Kidd). I mean I could technically figure out a way to put her there even if only just for the money, but I think it would make it a bit more lonesome for her if she couldn't get along with at least a couple of the people on the team ya know? Well of course eventually she'll either be dead or alone without her friends anyways but psh who's paying attention tot that? Maybe we'll get them to outlast the other players will to create characters and take them on XD
Oh snap. Yeah, I'd be down for making half a sibling duo. :D Once it's confirmed we can do a second character, hmu with a PM and we can work something out.
EDIT: I'm guessing since i was already accepted in the PM I can move my character over?
*Name: Maja Nilsson
*Alias: Borrealis
*Age: 31
*Height: 5'10
*Weight: 143 Lbs
*Appearance: Bojana Novakovic above (I rewatched that bad movie Devil recently)
Maja wears a dark blue suit jacket with a white tank-top underneath, as well as blue striped suit pants and pump shoes. She only wears the scarf at night. In the day, she dons a pair of sunglasses. Her hair is a natural blond, but she had it dyed brown.
*Physical Abilities/Skills: Besides being in a healthy physical condition, Maja has taken basic martial arts training. Her real skills however, come in the form of various acts of stealth, infiltration, and digital manipulation. She has a variety of different voices and accents she uses to disguise her true voice. She has a variety of different alias's and false identities.
When assassinating someone, she prefers to go about it by getting close to them. For example, if a target is staying in a hotel, she will disguise as house-keeping. In a way, has a skeleton key into most public places, at least for a short time. Finding contacts in new places is also a talent she's picked up.
*Personality: Maja is cold and calculating. She can put on the facade of being cheerful and optimistic, naive, or stern, educated, witty, flirtatious. Whatever it takes to get where she needs to be, she can most likely pull it off, but underneath it all is a woman with almost sociopathic leanings. Ending another human life never harmed her conscience, it was just how she was born. Tying up loose ends or eliminating witnesses is not an issue, but she has learned there is a lot of merit in sparing someone's life if the moment is opportune. Killing someone just because she can get away with it is something she has no wish to do.
*Background: Maja almost had an idyllic childhood in her small town in Sweden. Her parents fought occasionally, like all do. She had a selection of tight-knit friends, like most do. Made good grades, and ended up with a bachelor's degree in computer science. She had a boyfriend, and he was nice enough. She could have settled down, gotten married, had a few kids, and died "happy". But she wouldn't have been happy. She always felt hollow on the inside; like living a normal life just wasn't right. At the age of eighteen, she vanished. Maja Nilsson no longer existed. The missing signs went up, her family grieved, and life moved on.
She had learned English during her educational career and could mimmick an American accent spot on. So she ended up in the criminal underground. She got a silence pistol, earned a name for herself. She was one of the best, though she didn't really realize it. The fame never really mattered. She did her job because it was the only thing she could.
If K9: She was contacted by a group of paid gunmen, known as K9. They promised her more jobs, more cash, and more challenge. She went for it, why not? They called her to Las Vegas. It'd prove to be her last trip.
If not K9: A contact sent her a notice. There was a big price on a group of paid professionals known as K9. It'd been sent out towards a few other people, but apparently some already had a grudge with the group. The contact said it'd be tough, even recommended to her (in a rare case of humanity) not to take it because it wasn't worth it. Maja thank him for his concern, packed her bags, and took a bus to Sin City.
Here's my profile. If there's still a spot in the K9 open, I'd like her to be in it.
*Name: Helen Wu
*Alias: Mute
*Age: 27
*Height: 1.7m
*Weight: 60kg
*Appearance: A toned and lithe body gained from constant exercise. Skin tone is usually fair but tans in the sun. Has an unfortunate permanent case of Dreamworks Face (not pictured here).
*Physical Abilities/Skills: Peak Physical Ability – Can outrun most people and has excellent stamina. Stealth – Mute’s specialty as a killer (as indicated by her alias). Extremely light-footed and flexible, as well as being a confident climber. Medically Trained – Her takedown of choice is a quick shank to the neck or an empty syringe to a vein while the target is sleeping. Her medical knowledge helps with quick takedowns but can also be used to patch up seriously wounded allies when needed. Decent Marksman – Not brilliant but knows enough to operate all sorts of firearms. Abundance of Useless General Knowledge – Seriously, where did she learn all this stuff? Proficient in Violin and Piano – Learned both at her parents’ behest like the good little Chinese girl she was. High Natural Intelligence – Was a prodigy back in medical school Good Looks and Persuasion – Everybody likes a pretty face. Pair that with a hot bod and a likable personality and you’ve got yourselves a girl that could talk her way out of a bear trap Speaks Mandarin, Shanghainese, Japanese, English, and French
*Personality: Contrary to her alias, Helen has quite the affable personality. Always willing to crack a joke or assist with a problem, the silent assassin has enough wit and patience to puzzle even the most transcendent of Tibetan Monks. No one has ever seen her angry or upset and lived to tell the tale. Can read people’s likes and dislikes very well and often moulds her personality according to the person in order to get more out of them. However, this congenial front barely scratches the surface of Mute’s psyche. The experienced killer’s world view revolves around her judgement of a person or object’s “value”. To her, taking someone’s life is as troubling as missing a sale at the grocery store; no reason to get upset, there are plenty of others out there somewhere. Some may call this psychopathic. She sees it as being utilitarian. Has a thing against mess. Her crime scenes are never covered with an absurd amount of gun shots or blood.
*Background: Born and raised in Orange County by some lovely tiger parents. Had an extremely disciplined childhood, but it was nothing she couldn’t take. The young and talented Helen Wu frequently brought home all the awards while barely breaking a sweat. Went to a high school with a social environment that seemed to be the basis of every goddamn teen rom-com movie, but amped up to eleven. Witnessing the messy dramas and social intrigue of high school first hand, Helen came to the incredible conclusion that people were actually pretty shit. She navigated the social web of high school well enough for those particular years to not be cited as the source of her current status as a contract killer. People like her and she worked hard enough to become valedictorian. College was fine enough, no major character development there. Medical school was the same. It was a year after her residency when the whole contract killer thing came into play. There was a big shootout downtown and Helen was the top surgeon on the job. All of a sudden, she found herself with a big wad of cash and the instructions to goof up the surgery on a high-ranking police detective. The next day, Helen sought out her generous patron and offered her permanent services to the local underworld. Killing paid a lot better than saving. Over the years she would branch out from her usual station at the hospital, taking jobs ranging from being the local mafia’s in-house doctor to taking freelance contracts such as infiltrations and assassinations. Eventually moved to Vegas for the work.
Hey yo, so this game looks super dope, and I'd love to apply, if you don't midn. The page says freelancers are open? I assume those are non-K9 members?
If you want to know (or if you don't, well.. here, anyway) the idea I had was for a guy that was almost literally a brick wall. Like 7 feet tall and big enough that you'd probably want to have a gun if you're gonna try and kill him.
