[OOC] Schism: Blood of Heroes

And we are live, ladies and gentlemen!

Let me just say that I'm thrilled to be playing with such a large and talented group with so many different ideas and opinions. If we work together, this could very well be one of the most successful RPs this site has ever seen!

THE SITUATION:

A supervillain named Tinhead Ned has escaped police custody in Australia and is attempting to recover his hidden weaponry (suit of armor very much like Iron Man). This represents an opportunity to raise your reputation, which for both teams lies at "Distrusted".

The Japanese government is attempting to summon heroes who participated in the Nagoya Incident to testify before the Cabinet and Prime Minister. Testimony represents a similar opportunity to recover reputation, as well as possibly avoiding trouble with the Japanese.

Both of these plot hooks are optional. You are free to pursue your own plans and goals.

Also, it is assumed that there are NPC heroes on both the Champions and the Splinter. This gives us a little leeway for late arrivals and cannon fodder for fights.

A note for everyone: I fully intended to add reputation and asset trackers for the teams, but in the excitement it wholly slipped my mind. I'm plugging those into the first post of the OOC, along with other relevant information, so be sure to check that for updates!

@WanderingSpirit Shouldn't that be fine at the moment? Each team only has six members, so you should be able to send one to everyone in the group shouldn't you? Unless I'm misunderstanding.

@RumikoOhara I was wondering if our characters could have some sort of broken friendship between them, since both are from Canada (close to each other too). Maybe they could have initially bonded from doing some missions there together, and now my character feels betrayed. I think my character would have some sort of jealous obsession with yours for being pretty, young, smart, athletic, just seeming like an all-round perfect being in general, and as a result might want to use her camouflaging powers to be a slight stalker.
