A feminine voice calls to you in your dreams.
You turn to look and a being stands before you.
The being is so engulfed in light, it is hard to make out its true form, but it does not feel threatening.

"...We of the Digital World are in need of your aid...A Great Evil has invaded Sanctuary and laid ruin to the World Tree...I was...unable to stop them and was gravely injured during the battle...I managed to use my remaining power to send you this...message and protect the little that remained of the World...Tree, but I fear that this is only a temporary...solution..."

The shape made a gesture and several orbs of light, each different from one another, appeared before it.

"These are...DigiCores"

The orbs of light shot out forth and disappear inside of you. You feel an odd warm travel throughout your body and you begin to glow.

"These Cores will...grant you the power you will need to...defeat the Great Evil that has decended...upon the Digital World. You will not be...alone. Look around you."

You notice for the first time the other glowing shapes around you.

"In order for you to defeat...the Evil you must find one...another for only together are you at your...strongest. Now go...find you way to the Digital World and to each other...only together will the...road to answers...be...revealed. Luck be with...you Digidestined...the fate of...both Worlds...rests...on your...shoulders..."

Here you take on the persona of a DigiDestined who's new found destiny is to save both the Digital World and the Real World from an unknown Evil! You, along with your Digimon companion and the other DigiDestined, must work together to stop this Great Evil before it is too late! Will you manage to succeed or will Evil win in the end!

(Players are required to have at least In-Training and Rookie Digivolutions before playing. All other Digivolutions will be added as the story progresses. Players may list other Digivolutions, but it could be more fun to wait and suprise everyone when the time comes. Players are encourage to create their own unique digimon, but it is not a requirement. Here is a Visual List of all Digimon created. This can be used to choose a Digimon that you wish to use or to give you ideas when creating your own. Players may post pictures of chosen Digimon or submit their own creations. Also note that if you choose virus or darkness for your Digimon doesn't dictate that they are evil.)

(I am very excited about this aspect! Players will get to design their very own Digivices! Of course there are limits. Your Digivice should be no more complex than a cellphone. What I mean by this is that your phone cannot become a weapon or have the capacity to do anything that might make your character overpowered in any way. So have fun, go wild, and if there are any issues I will personally PM you regarding them.)

I just want to specify that players are not required to draw any original ideas. This is just an option if the player so chooses. A general to detailed description will do just fine.

I will be adding to it periodically tonight and tomorrow, the boyfriend will be over most of the day so I will only be able to work on it so much, but it will be at least a few days before the first real post is up. This will be so everyone has a chance to work on things and allow me to get everything up.

@tobiax I plan on having more of the actual story description and such soon. I only just created the OOC and wanted to get the CS up for those who had already shown interest. The theme will be the classic good vs evil. DigiDestined are chosen and brought into the Digital World to save them from what is threatening to destroy the world. Now the tone. I personally would prefer to stay away from the light and bubbly and stick to a more mature tone [complex not sexual].

Ah, I see. What's the blanket knowledge on Digimon? Is this the first event of a human going to the Digital World, or has it happened somewhere before? Or is it some legend or game in this RP?

@tobiax Like I said I will have more up soon, but to start this exists in an alternate universe than any of the previous storylines. The storyline will reveal that there had been other digidestined prior to them, but the digital world for the most part has remained hidden from those who have not visited personally. There has never been any crossing over of digimon into the real world since its creation and it is not in pop culture or legends.

Kumeijimon

Physical Description:

Kumeijimon is small, weighing in at 5 pounds. It is essentially ball-shaped, apart from curvature at the top of its head to accommodate its lateral posterior eyes. In shorter terms, it is shaped similar to the head of a spider. Kueijimon has no legs, similar to many Fresh digimon. Instead, it uses its chelicerae (mouthparts, fangs, etc) for combat. Its entire body is covered in course hair.

Its eye structure is common to many eight-eyed spider, which have four eyes forming an anterior row and four forming a posterior row. The only abnormality is the placement of the lateral posterior eyes, which are located slightly above the median eyes, while also being spread farther. The most important implication of this eye structure is the field of vision that Kumeijimon possesses -which is around 270 degrees.

Kumeijimon is colored exactly as a blue-fanged jumping spider is, with black eyes, salt-and-pepper colored hair and black skin, and shiny blue chelicerae.

Kugumon

Physical Description:

Kugumon, the digivolved form of kumeijimon, is similar in both color and shape. As an In-Training, however, it is a fully formed, albeit small, spider (8lbs). Anatomically, it is almost identical to Kodokugumon, apart from the differing eye structure. Additionally, it retains its previous coloring. Instead of the horizontal stripes on Kodokugumon's back, Kugumon has a single blue stripe running from its head to abdomen.

Web Strangle - Shoots an ensnaring webbing from its abdomen.
Poison Bite - Bites opponent with its fangs, utilizing temporary paralysis.

Physical Description:

Kumomon is much a fully formed, larger spider, weighing 30 pounds. Both his body and abdomen are slimmer than in his previous form, allowing for higher mobility and agility.

A special edition old note-taker (touchscreen) manufactured in the form of a pokedex. Since its purchase, the device has done nothing but malfunction.

Automatically takes notes on any previously encountered digimon. Can communicate with other digivices.

I've read through the interest check and I'm very interested!

Quick question, would I be allowed to have an evolution line where Rapidmon digivolves into Fujinmon rather than MegaGargomon? While I found out Fujinmon isn't a digivolution of Rapidmon in any canon, I find they look very visually similar, and they have nearly identical Types, Attributes, and Fields. Also I find Fujinmon way cooler than MegaGargomon x)

Definitely not a deal-breaker if I can't, I just figured I may as well ask!

• Burning Blades: The blades on the outside of both of his arms flip so they face forward. Flames cover the tips of his blades and claws, and he uses them to slash at the opponent.

• Molten Claw: Jianmon's swords become red hot, and he uses them to attack the opponent
• Scorpio Star: His tail blade is coated with purple energy, and he slashes it at the opponent
• Sword of Light: He opens his mouth, and energy begins to gather in front of it and between the two spikes that come down near it. Then he fires a blast of electrical energy at the opponent.

Mega/Ultimate Sanadramon

• Faia Roar: Trusting his spears beyond the speed of sound, a crimson roaring shockwave of fire streams through the ground destroying everything in its path leaving nothing but the souls of innocents unharmed.
• Crimson Soul: Joining the long spears together, Sanadramon launches himself via pole jump with a Digisoul charged knuckle. Nothing that is put before the burning fist can still remain its shape after being mauled by the blazing soul.
• Rekka Majin Hirameki: With his spears joined together, Sanadramon’s entire body is set blaze by his own Digisoul and is sent flying light speed. With his spears a blaze, he tears right through the fabric of space and punches through his enemies regardless of protection.

Digivice

Physical Description
John's Digivice resembles an orange flip cellphone with yellow flame decals. During digivolution the flames change color to blue (for any form up to Champion) or white (when going to Ultimate and Mega).
Special Characteristics
Like the cellphone it resembles John can use it to contact other phones and Digivices (as long they are able to send and receive messages). It also has a built in GPS and the ability to take pictures.

Ahah, yes. To be honest, it's a pet peeve of mine whenever people seem to think that "mature storytelling" equals "dark" (in fact an awful lot of "dark" stories tend to have rather immature storytelling really). Tamers wasn't good because it was dark, Tamers was good because it was well written and they had a clear idea of what they intended from the get-go. Contrast 02, which is a bit more divisive due to them not having a clear idea of what they intended, as well as too many conflicting opinions on how to do things and inconsistent writing quality (be that as it may, I still think Ken's character arc is one of the best in the entire franchise, but there you go).

...I'm not sure where I'm going with this but I guess I'm happy with keeping the tone around Savers level, especially since Marcus is the best. :D

Anyways, need to work on stuff I guess. Hmmm.

@PompousPrince I didn't watch all of Savers. (Although I don't know if it really was "mature". Not with the main character needing to solve problems by punching stuff. Tamers was at least well thought out, and had a point. It also handled the parent/child relationship rather well. Plus it was written to teach kids that death is natural and how to deal with it, and it wasn't just "grim for grim's sake".)
