Elsa has rarely had time to fit in courting around her life; in the years approaching her coronation, she had no interest, instead focusing on controlling her powers. Once she was Queen, potential suitors were lined up in the hopes of taking her hand in marriage, but none have impressed her so far.
As for preferences, she likes to keep an open mind; in a world as free as the one she lives in now, there are endless opportunities in the prospects of love. Someone just has to catch her eye first.

As is expected of a respectable Queen, Elsa was in flawless gowns and dresses whenever out in the public eye; even her pyjamas had to be somewhat decent when in the Palace among the servants and her sister. She always looked good, but after years upon years of corsets and gowns, and “Your Highness, you cannot wear riding breeches to dinner!”, she takes full advantage of the freedoms of this world. Comfortable jeans (What a glorious invention, seriously) skirts, cute, simple dresses, and of course, the dorkiest pyjamas she can find.

Elsa is somewhat complicated in her mind and emotions; she had been already conflicted back in Arendelle as a ruler, but even moreso now here in Mystvale. Firstly, the dealing with her powers, the death of her parents and the weight of a Kingdom; and now, all of that taken away in an instant.
As a ruler, she had to seem stand-offish, in a noble way. It was improper to act not as a lady should, and so she always acted as a lady. She had to keep emotions – and by default, her powers – under control, so often came across as very cold, even towards her sister. Now in Mystvale, she doesn’t have many pressures on her as she did. Elsa has no magic to worry about, nor a kingdom. While at first she still expected things to be on hand immediately for her, she soon got over that – and any superiority that she may have been oozing subconsciously towards others.
Now, she’s far more well-rounded... although can come across as distant or cold at times. Other than that, she’s best described as dorky, clumsy, and perhaps even a bit awkwardly blunt; ready to smile in an attempt to make herself seem more approachable. Because it was a lonely life she led, and hasn’t really had many friends beyond her sister. However, her stronger “ruler” side can come out if the situation demands it.

Most notably, her magic. However, she also has a shrewd and diplomatic mind, one borne of attempting to rule a country in a fair manner. She can be intimidating when she needs to be, and kind when the situation arises. Additionally, is quite proficient in the care and riding or horses, along with swordplay. Although it was considered an unladylike sport, she was able to gain tutoring of the sport after her parents died – the discipline learnt with it helped her in turn discipline her powers.

Hasn’t gained full control of her powers – they can act out at random times, although not with something overly dangerous. However, if her emotions rage out of control, so will her powers – she will lose herself to the ice, and it is then that she is at her most dangerous.

No doubt you know the story of Queen Elsa of Arendelle? Discovered mysterious powers of ice and snow at a young age, orphaned as a child, and terrified of what she might become?
Close enough – but Elsa in reality was not quite as meek or fearful as her story told. Yes, the coming forth of her powers scared her at first, but with her parent’s reaction to it, it bred rebellion in the young girl, and not self-hatred. She was not going to hide in her room! She was going to control these odd powers, and with that grew a resentment towards her mother and father as they plead to her to hide them, to keep them under wraps, and for goodness sake, don’t hurt her sister again.
Still... it was a devastating blow to find out they had perished in a storm at sea – but it only instilled in her further that she must control her powers. Elsa was determined to be three things before her coronation at 21; to be in control, to be a great leader, and most importantly, to be the best sister and guardian she could possibly be to Anna. Still, it was hard to do.
Although growing ever more confident in her use of magic, Elsa refused to allow visitors in the castle – for she was worried what they would do if they discovered her secret. This meant for a quiet and lonely life for the two sisters, and with Elsa focusing so much on practice – both in her magical talents, and as a prospect ruler – the two were not as close as Elsa would have liked.
Her coronation – as one may already know - did not go as planned. Her powers were discovered, not through her own insecurities, but by sabotage by unknown forces. Clearly, someone from a neighbouring kingdom had heard rumours, and wished to see if they held any truth. She fled the castle, out of fear of her own life, and leaving Anna behind. She did not want her to be involved in this dark situation, but alas, she did. Anna followed, and she was harmed just as the story tells.
The act of true love, between the two sisters did save Anna in the end, and life after this became far easier for the pair. The world knew of Elsa’s powers, but did not condemn her for it. There was peace in Arendelle, and even some modicum of peace in Elsa’s own heart.
And then the Cataclysm just threw the shit into the fan.
Elsa’s realm was snatched up by raging storms and eternal blizzards – at first, the people assumed it was her, and even she had her doubts over what was happening. What if she had caused this somehow? But after several weeks of it unrelenting, it became apparent to all that this was beyond her powers – something else was causing this. And Elsa was only too happy to send Anna away to safety upon finding out about the works of Merlin. She elected to stay behind, to try and keep her people as safe and alive as possible.
And yet, when it came to leaving her sister at Notre Dame, she found she could not resist Anna’s pleas for her to stay. Even Merlin agreed it would be better for her to leave through the portal. It was a difficult decision, but Elsa chose her sister over her kingdom. She only hopes it has not ruined too many lives.

Now in Mystvale, Elsa took on a far more casual job than ruling a Kingdom. Being well versed in the care, upkeep and riding of horses, she found a job at an equestrian centre, working with the fine beasts and teaching others how to ride and care for them. After five years she is now head manager, and earns quite enough to keep both herself and her sister happy – she still needs to look after Anna, no matter the situation.
