Jun looked around, headphones on ears but no music playing. She was sitting on the floor with her back pressed against the wall and a book in her lap. Her hair made a curtain between the people and herself, so it was easy to watch them go about their daily lives like she didn't exist. Stories ran inside her head about what their lives were like outside of school. She made up hardships that would make her own look like nothing. It made her feel a little better if she imagined people had it a little worse than her. She knew that was a terrible thing to think, but after coming home last night to her father passed out on the floor she was pretty much done with her life. He didn't have money to pay the collectors, but he could spend it on alcohol no problem. It made her stomach turn with knots.
Today though, her eyes fell on the classmate known as Kento. She had watched him before, but this time was different. She had created a whole persona for him. She stood up and made her way closer to where he was doing her best to not seem too creepy. "His eyes are two different colors because he's not a real human, he's a clone of his older brother. Something went wrong along the way and he turned into a whole new person. His family tried their best to hide him, but all he wanted to be was a real boy," she thought to herself with a smile. She sat herself down at a table so she wouldn't scare him off. He was very timid with new comers. It intrigued her more than she would say. Jun pushed her hair away from her face and tucked it behind her ear. She kind of wanted him to notice her, even if it was a small sideways glance. Anything would do at this point. She wanted him to know she existed and she was willing to play his game of shyness.
