It would be Mid morning, with the sun high in the sky. The Apprentice(s) would be all riding in a wagon a it makes it's way towards a valley. Each with their own reasons for heading towards this gamble, a chance to become the apprentice of a magic user. There would of been all kinds of stories they have heard of about the magician their heading to see, some good, some bad. Though the worse thing they could of heard about was the dangerous valley that the magician lived in.

In the wagon there was a somewhat energetic boy with a grin and smile, he would look at the other five in the wagon with him. "Hello" he would say happily to them "Whats your names?" he would ask as well as bluntly asking, "what are you reasons for wanting to become a magician?".

Morgana looked at the kid skeptically. His conversational strategy appeared to be similar to that of a bull. Rush wildly ahead at whatever caught your eye. "Just call me Morg. And obviously I want to be a magician so I can use magic." of course what he meant was why did you want to learn how to use magic, but Morgana so far had no interest in making things any easier for him. She should've just walked instead of taking the wagon.

Solomon, leaned back, trying to find a comfortable spot to sit in. He honestly disliked riding in carriages, or horses, or any kind of vehicle really. It made him antsy. Well, at least he had company to pass the time.

"Solomon, though you can call me Sol if you want," he responded with a smile. The other boy was probably the same age as him, but way more energetic than he was. "I guess I want to learn magic because I'm curious?"

That wasn't his complete reason, but he had a feeling if he told the others why he really wanted to learn magic he'd be laughed at, and that was something he'd really rather avoid -- he of all people knew how stupid his motivations sounded when put into words.

The boy would raise a brow at the answers and chuckle, "So you just want to learn magic, and your just curious" he repeats from their answers "That's just random reasons hu" he would chuckle squirming some. He would smile, not noticing the three who have been quiet. "This is dangerious" he states "from everything I've read you have to have a steely resolve to succeed" he chuckles.

The Wagon would come to a stop and the driver would speak "We're at how far we can go" he states "if you kids are serious about this you got to go on foot from here" he tells them "I for certain don't envy you kids". he shakes his head.

When they leave the Wagon they would see they had emerged from a ravine and infront of them down hill is a huge valley of trees, that looks like it was cut into four sections. like the four seasons was existing all at the same time. Summer, Spring, Fall, and Winter. The middle of the valley is a big clearing in the shape of a circle, with a structure sitting in the middle. It would be hard to make out the structure at their distance. They would be able to enter the spring section from their location.

Morgana jumped down from the wagon, flicking her hair skeptically at the driver's remark, and looking at what lay ahead of her. She had to admit, it was defiantly impressive. Still, she expected something more obvious in the way of obstructions. It seemed as though they simply had to stroll through the woods to get to the middle. Simple enough. Without pausing to see the reactions of the others she quickly began walking into the spring section, there was no point in waiting around after all. Despite the seemingly easy task before her, Morgana was suspicious of this place. She doubted a magi named 'The Dragon' would leave a clear cut path to his home.

Solomon stepped off the carriage and gave a short bow to the driver. "Thank you for your help," he said. Straightening himself, he turned around to join his new companions.

"If it's resolve," he said as he came by the other boy's side, a faint smile on his face, "then I reckon that I've enough for what's to come. If I don't then I will just find more, yes?"

He took in the view before him. It was just . . . breathtaking. All the different seasons meshed into one, a feet he knew only magic was capable of. It was another testament to the wonders the art of magic was capable of doing, and gave him all the more resolve to push through with this choice, that he would learn magic. Looking at the different paths, he wondered if this was some sort of test . . .

No, that was a foolish notion. He had heard, straight from her mouth, so long ago, just what kind of nature magic and those who wielded it possessed:

"True tests never end," was what she said. Always assume it was a test. If a magi wasn't testing you then the very nature of magic would -- that was how he understood it, anyhow. It seemed simple enough.

Given that, he had to decide where to go. The girl with them was certainly bold, charging right ahead into the Spring Path, and in all honesty, he was tempted to follow her; common sense dictated to take safety in numbers -- but was magic really bound by common sense?

Solomon made his decision, and he turned to the the two remaining would-be students, and saw them off with a nod.

"I suppose I'll be going ahead then. Let's hope we meet each other in the castle, yes?"

And with that, he shot off down the Winter Path. Logically, it wasn't the best option -- cold weather conditions were the hardest to move it, but winter held a special meaning for him. He would survive, regardless.

The boy would be surprised at the laid back attitude of the others, as the echo of the roar of a dragon echos throughout the valley. Something that others may of expect from the one called the dragon. The boy would grin lightly before walking the path.

Things would pass without any problems, as everyone somehow arrives to the open field at the same time. there would seem to be a simple cabin sitting next to a pond sitting in the middle of the field. The energetic boy from earlier wasn't there for some reason. Out from the forests behind everyone multiple loud roars would echo, the roars of dragons.

Morgana entered the field and looked around, irritated. How had everyone else managed to arrive at the same time? She was sure she'd started first and no one had passed her and if they'd gone around they should've been slower. Except for that one kid. Any thoughts on that matter were discontinued when she heard a symphony of dragon roars behind her. Maybe he'd be eaten. In any case the roars could mean a couple of things. A) They were all going to eaten by dragons. B) More likely, the guy named Dragon was jacking with them. Either way it seemed the obvious answer was to go for the cabin. The question was, was the cabin bait? Morgana shrugged. On the offhand chance they were going to be eaten by dragons, she'd prefer to at least try the cabin. So, Morgana casually walked to the cabin, ignoring the roars behind her, with the intent to try to open the door.

Solomon looked around. Surprisingly, everyone arrived at the exact same time. Was that as a result of coincidence, or was their magic at work? He couldn't really tell. They hadn't exactly left at the same time, but there weren't any noticeable differences in their time of departure. More noticeable was the fact that one of them was missing - the energetic boy from earlier.

"How strange," he muttered, looking at the cabin. The sound of deafening roars echoed from behind him, and he turned back towards the forest.

His brows squeezed together in concern. "I'm worried about that other boy. He hasn't shown yet, maybe something happened to him . . ."

The door wouldn't budge it would seemed to be locked, as roars echoed a lot closer and three dragon heads would peak over the trees before emerging into the field staring at the apprentices with devlish looks. They seemed hungry and was staring at their dinner. The dragon closest to Solomon would stare straight down at him since he hadn't moved far from the tree-line, the dragon would be of a pure golden color that seemed to shine. The others consisting of a Black and Red dragon.

Morgana gave the door one last tug and turned around at the sound of the roars getting closer. To her mild surprise there were actual dragons. In three colors no less. Morgana took a brief moment to evaluate what to do. The door was locked. She was too frail to break it down, picking it would take too long and it was probably magicked. Plus there probably wasn't any other way into the cabin, even if there was it wouldn't keep them safe. She couldn't outrun dragons since, you know, they were massive and had wings. Game over. Morgana leaned against the cabin wall nonchalantly and stared down the black dragon. "Chicken." she said flatly, loud enough to be heard across the distance. It occurred to her that she should be trembling from fear and either grovelling, running, or fighting for her life. Perhaps she in shock. Nah, it was just that she had decided if she was going to die here, then she sure as hell wasn't going to make a fool of herself doing so.

As Solomon turned around, he was treated to the sight of a dragon staring down at him.

It was, in short words, awesome.

Oh it was terrifying, yes, but nonetheless, awesome.

"Amazing . . ." he breathed.

A true, actual, dragon. The fantastical beast of legend that was known throughout the world as symbols of power, was actually there, staring right at him, in the flesh! Solomon's eyes were practically glittering at the beast that stared right back at him. And then the awe faded, and he was presented with the very clear fact that his life may be in danger.

He backpedaled rather quickly next to Morgana. "Hello, my name is Solomon. Just thought to remind you in case we die and that it's been a pleasure despite our relatively short time together and that I find you rather charming," he said hurriedly, giving her a wry grin, before turning back to the dragon anxiously.

"Erm, can you not eat us please?"

Lame, but eh, it was worth a shot.

The dragon that watched Solomon would look simply confused at the fact it took so long for Solomon to actually properly act to it's presence. the three dragons would move into the field and soon surround the two there. the golden dragon would lower it's head towards them and breath in deeply, smelling them, their clothes and hair would be pulled slightly by the force of the breath. The dragon would breath back out, with a slightly horrible breath before bringing it's head back.. and suddenly just sitting down, the other dragons follow it's lead sitting down as well.

A sound of clapping can be heard as the energetic boy from earlier would step out of the tree line and start walking towards them "Interesting.. Interesting.. seems like it will actually be a very interesting time" when the boy would get close to them the golden dragon would lower it's head to him allowing him to pet it for some reason.

Jeezus was that asshole hitting on her just because he figured they were going to die? It was probably because he was like twice as tall as her. Okay maybe only like a foot but still. And he'd actually asked them not to eat him. Seriously? Her thoughts on the matter were interrupted, as they had been wont to be in this forest, by the dragons. Specifically the strange act of them breathing in and out heavily, like some strange sort of oversized horses sniffing new people. Even more surprising was the kid that had asked them about their motivation from before showed up like a some sort of dragon tamer. The hell? Morgana glared at him skeptically from her position leaning against the cabin. "Yeah I bet you say that to all the ladies. So are you just screwing with us or are we actually going to get eaten?" Morgana asked confidently. Though she really doubted it was the latter, the question would prompt him to carry on either explaining or monologuing, Morgana wasn't sure which term would be more appropriate at this point. Wasn't this guy supposed to be like them, showing up to learn how to use magic from Dragon? Unless... Nah that was stupid. No way. Still...

Solomon blinked. That was unexpected . . . but not entirely surprising. He suspected it was a test of sorts; it seemed in character, something that a mysterious and powerful mage would do. But that didn't mean he was going to risk getting eaten alive to test that.

"Uh, I take it you're the Dragon, or at least someone he's acquainted with?" he hazarded a guess. "Oh, and thank you for not eating us." He said with a polite nod. It was only proper etiquette, after all, that you thank someone for a meal . . . or for not becoming one. He wasn't sure the same rules applied but it didn't hurt to be courteous.

Particularly when there huge-ass dragons breathing down your face.

The boy would chuckle at them both "Well at lest one of you was one the right track before changing your mind" he states "I am indeed dragon, though my real name is Charles" he states. This would most likely be surprising and more, since he seems younger than they are. "O by the way it wasn't I who decided you would live.. it's this big guy right here" he says patting the golden dragon's snout before the dragon straightens and the three dragons take off into the forest. "I am called Dragon for various reasons, one being the fact that a dragon is my primary transport and pet" he states to them. "That dragon there, Lani, had detected something from you two so he saw you worthy to be under my discipline" he tells them. He would chuckle shaking his head "Your lucky you didn't run into them in the woods off the bat" he states "Could of ended badly, but either way you two are wanting to become my apprentices hu... well I will say my training is probably a lot harsher than most of the other masters out there, are you both really certain about this?" he asked as he waved his hand in the air "If so there is some special designed outfits inside the cabin waiting for you on the table, it's unlocked now" he states "go change into them and come back out here and kneel down in the field here so we can begin the waking process" he tells them.

Morgana's glare only intensified as more information was revealed. If he was the Dragon then why in the Nine had he been riding in the wagon with them? Did he merely wish to see those that came to his forest to die? She snorted disdainfully at his question as to their commitment. They had literally just faced being eaten by dragons. It wasn't like they were going to back out now. Without saying a word Morgana turned and opened the now unlocked door, entering haughtily. However any semblance of haughtiness was removed when she came a few steps inside the building and came to a halt. This was no cabin! It was some sort of wizard tower. Morgana looked around and marveled at it, how incredible! To think all this could be accomplished with magic. It made her even more eager to begin.

Morgana stepped further in and looked at the clothes set out for them. Seriously? New clothes down to the underwear? And it wasn't like he'd been kind enough to provide a changing room. Whatever, stupid pervert, he'd had to give her a dress underneath too. Morgana stomped forward and threw on the robe, throwing a glance back at Solomon. "Don't even think about trying to sneak a peek." She said warning as she began changing underneath her robe, tossing her old clothes in a bundle on the table. It wasn't that she was shy, she just didn't want him getting any funny ideas. Once finished she would step back outside and pause for a moment. Now she had to stain her nice robe by kneeling in the field. Perfect. Morgana knelt down on the ground and looked at 'The Dragon' expectantly.

Solomon nodded enthusiastically. It was confirmed by the Dragon himself - he had the talent, or at the very least, the aptitude to learn magic! He felt his whole body shiver in excitement, and from the top of his head, all the way to the tingle in his toes. The grin across his face was almost feral, showing off his entire set of teeth. Ha-ha! Magic, at last!

At the mage's request, Solomon nodded. "Thank you," he said, before entering the cabin. Before going inside, Morgana gave him a small warning, which he laughed off. He found her charming, but that didn't mean he liked her in any way that would drive him to do something as ungentlemanly as peeping on a girl who was changing.

Once he was changed, he stepped out of the cabin and knelt, ready and eager. Whatever this "waking process" was, it sounded important, and he had a few guesses as to what it was for. If his guess was right . . . well, he was shivering in anticipation all over again.

He would nod as they sit infront of him then he would kneel down next to them and adjust their robes so it is sprayed out instead of underneath them since it is long enough to spread out on the ground. He would stand back uup and speaks "just so you know that 'Modesty' stuff would probably be something you'll forget all about later" he states to them. "There will be times in battle where you can't block a spell and your clothes pay the price" he states to them "What are you going to do when you clothes are obliterated in a magic duel that can't be stopped for something like clothes?" he asks them before bringing his hands up and energy starts to swirl to his palms "This will probably hurt" he states "This is a forceful awakening so you will need to very quickly learn how to manipulate your own magic power or else it'll all escape.. along with your life force and you will both die" he states as a warning before bringing his palms down and starts pushing the spheres into their backs, they could feel it and pressure but they wouldn't be getting pushed, after a moment it would enter their bodies and pain would spread throughout their bodies and energy would suddenly seem to surge out of them all of a sudden. "You need to concentrate on your magical energy, then manipulate it inside and form it into a shape, the shape doesn't matter it'll just be how you'll need to imagine your energy later on to use it" he states "good luck" he says walking away.

Easy for him to say, he wasn't a girl. It wasn't like Morgana wasn't fine with being naked in front of people, it was just generally speaking: A) It was freaking cold when you did. B) It gave people funny ideas and Morgana had to run from enough people as is. C) Only perverts said something like that anyway. Obviously if she was fighting for her life, which was apparently going to be a thing here as well, then she wouldn't worry about something as trivial as clothes. However the important thing now was to focus on what Dragon was saying. Apparently this was a sink or swim sort of thing. Morgana felt a confusing swirl of sensations as he pressed spheres of magic into them. For a second, Morgana wasn't entirely sure what was going on. Then the pain started. Well that explained why they were kneeling. So that they didn't crash into the ground. A string of curses ran through Morgana's mind longer than the Amazon River and just about as convoluted.

Form a shape? Morgana shoved the writhing pain she felt to the recesses of her mind, something that she was used to, but even with that it was a screaming beast tearing at her consciousness. Morgana clumsily pushed her new found energy together. She held her hands together just in front of her stomach, gathering all she could there as best she could. It was a writhing mass of energy that appeared to have some sort of center. Slowly it began to look like something solid. It was, at first, a bubbling sphere fully enclosed by her hands that were wrapped around it. Then it managed to warp into something resembling what Morgana wanted. When it was finished it took the form of a knife, about twice as long as one that you would use to spread butter with and around a centimeter or so wide. To call it a crude shape would be generous, periodically some of it would ripple erratically or leak to one side or the other. It was the best Morgana could do. She wasn't sure if it'd taken seconds or minutes or even hours, she was far too focused on the work at hand to keep track of time. He'd said you picked a form for when you used it later. In the half-moments Morgana had been able to form a coherent thought she'd picked a knife.
