" I could give you more that one reason but I want to be civil for now. I will raise the money you will receive to 80 gold coins per day and when I meet my people you can come with me and you will be payed another 1000 gold coins for delivering me to my tribe and maybe even more money for your potions. Plus , we can protect you merchant. You said it yourself , you can defend yourself and by the looks of my other companions they can too and me ? I was born a fighter as I think it can be seen merchant. There will be enough blades between you and any danger. Nothing will harm you. I can vow to protect you merchant if you wish. We orcs of the Molokai tribe ( the biggest Ice orc tribe ) always keep our vows. ". This was the last chance for the merchant. If he didn't accept...it was over for him. Gun'tar would pay for the Sleeping Death potion and he would leave with his new companions.

Dren Rache

"Threats are not the most convincing of ways to attain a companion, my friend." Dren knew the orc probably wasn't kidding and would happily try to pummel him if he wanted to. He wasn't exactly scared of the large brute, but he also wasn't particularly in the mood to start a bar room brawl.

He could feel his pockets yawning at the opportunity for that amount of gold... Dren was not a greedy man, but an offer like that opened up a lot of doors regardless of a person's natural temperament. The promise of protection was enticing however... the opportunity to skirt danger behind the backs of these idiots was tempting. And if things ever got too harsh, Dren was more than able to leave them to their fate and return to civilisation with a clean conscience. He hated to admit it, but this promise was becoming more tempting with every word...

"...very well." He stood up straight. "I, Dren Rache, will accompany you... and if you double cross me regarding the pay, you'll find worse than sleeping death in your grog when you don't expect it." He tipped his hat slightly.

Gun'tar laughed and extended his big hand towards Dren Rache " It's our custom to shake a man's hand when making a deal. It shows unity and trust between the two. Don't worry Dren. Orcs don't double cross anyone , we either provoke the man to a duel to the death or fulfill our end of the bargain.
Just a quick question and I'll let you leave , Dren. How long will the Sleeping Death potion will last ? I need something strong enough to keep the person that "die" , dead for a day or two.
"
