Is there a thing that actually explains the various factions? :D I only see Sentinals mentioned in the character thing in Drakel's first post, so I don't actually know what they're about, I totally mistook them for SHARD when someone mentioned em for a potential relation to my character XD

there are MANY factions, though two superhero ones at this moment....
Sentinels is a newer faction created by the mysterious Shadowhawk... This faction is focused on helping the people, nomatter what the cost though it's members also have a slight grudge against the titans...Spellthief (My character) and another Sentinel (forgot who, I think it's Either Bishop or Surge... maybe both) HATE the Titans, especially Sinna for unknown reasons.. They have also recently gained a lot of support in Second City for their actions and are of the highest influence at this point in time. Their base is in the mountains hidden by snow. Their technology is far more scientific and similar to the actual titan's tower.
The Titans is the first group of heroes, created by Mason and Viran... The Titans have gone through hell and back and proved their loyalty was always towards the people of the city and went as far as to almost die for their people. Mason was one of such an occasion and this placed not only a major strain on the Titans but the people of second city as well. Three months after his death the city was still repairing itself and then hell finally broke lose, causing thousands of deaths and even so much unstoppable chaos that no matter what the people lost faith in the titans. The Titans lost all support in Second city and are the more "hidden" heroes at this point in time due to the hate towards them. Their main support are from the other cities that are far away and while they are hated they refuse to give up on their home city. Sirius and Sinna were both the leaders of the Titans though when Sinna used all her energy to bring back the dead she was gone, causing an even further strain on the group (which is kinda disbanded other than maybe 3-4 members). The Titans base is actually a complicated system... Their base was a rundown ruins of a mansion but after some modifications (and some money out of Sinna's deep pockets) it was heavily modified to give off a more public view appearance... only room that was still rather the same is a small tower room with 6 pillars and walls full of bookshelves and a wall with an arch frame on it... The Titan's real base works off of a portal system, in which they say the magic phrase, go through the portal and they would be in their true base's entrance... their base overall is more of a magic mixed with technology type deal. So imagine glowing runes on thick white steel walls, small mechs trained in martial arts and crystal "turrents" that cast spells at intruders and that like...
SHARD is a sub-group of Cadmas and is focused on capturing and containing superheroes of all forms for scientific study. This group is heavily trained and genetically modified to do exactly that. Their interests aren't about the people but about capturing all heroes and taking their abilities for their own uses... They also are a "search and destroy" type, willing to kill heroes if they can't capture them at first. (there is always other fish to fry).
Our evil groups are as follow:
Jilocasin's: a group of 4 thus far (includes the captured Dragon)... where this group fails in numbers it makes up for in strength and tactics... as do they move very quickly, usually going "in and out" before anyone could even notice or be able to get close to reaching them... Their thing is popping in from out of the blue and then disappearing without much of a trace other than some exceptions with complete chaos... This is understandable since Jilocasin also uses a strange portal system of his own for quick getaways...
Hao: This man is charming and unlike Jilocasin he matches up well with numbers, having a constant supply of monsters and minions who joined his occult and bowed to him as though he were a god. He has armies upon armies of these minions and they just don't seem to ever end in supply... the majority of them are also superpowered in some way,shape or form and his favorite minion is his pet fire demon.
A,O & D: These three are a group of ninja like assassins who all can also use magics of some form... they killed a few NPCs and caused havoc though nothing major... yet.
Phantom: This twisted fuck caused mass havoc with heavy planning and outmaneuvering all the titans, usually his tactics involve the titans splitting up into small groups and fight and solve 5+ issues all at once. His partner in crime is Nightmare, who was once a news reporter until he opened her into the darkness... This guy owns an army of thugs who are all loyal to him, those who aren't don't even question him and are afraid to betray him... even to the point of believing death is better than doing such.
Manas: A large group of very powerful individuals, each mana has a special magic form that improves their power greatly, not to mention that they all use a form of magic as well in their general combat. The Mana's main target however is Sirius, since he imprisoned them into a void of some sort instead of killing them all. The Manas were defeated recently though not for good.
War & Genocide Death & War: These two aliens hold great powers and are both major boss characters, requiring the entire team of titans to even last when fighting them before... now it might not be enough since Death has the powers of black magics on his side and he knows how to use his new found gifts with ease.

Also, thanks for those explanations Drakel :D just one question left that I don't know... what... do they look like? XD I imagine SHARD may be a common annoyance for us IC, right? or should i just assume 'they probably do stuff like the Cadmas from the cartoon'? :D
Death good question, how did Grant know Rachel would be at the titan's base and the infirmary to begin with? Last I checked Rachel hasn't been anywhere near the titans base unless it was to drop flowers and newspaper articles off for Sinna.
In addition, where did Grant get Magic ANYTHING?? Seems a bit off for this character imo... especially when he was supposed to be a quick thinking genius of sorts... :/
Also I'm not 100% sure Reapz would like another archer in the RP... (we already had a major fight about it once...) Mind if I suggest Grant just sticks with guns and that like?
