The Grintep have become intelligent, sentient beings, who now call themselves "Grinti".
Unlike Grintep, Grinti are omnivorous, squawk instead of click, and are capable of forming identities.
The Grinti can no longer spit acid, though their salivations now pacify
lesser-minded creatures to make them easier to domesticate.
This, combined with their increased intelligence, has made
their bonus skill Animal Husbandry.
The Rogwog have evolved out of the sky, and now have little more than vestigial wings,
which has been bred out in favor of a fattier frame.
The Chorchim have evolved into the Grintep's favored beast of burden and the source of their ink.
They consume nutrients in soil.
As a result of this, The Chorchim are now used to burrow more
complex tunnels for Grintep colonization, increasing the Grintep population.
In the animal kingdom, several new species have been borne from the thousands of years of
slumber in since-collapsed underground cavities.
The Sent has evolved into The Setra, an amphibious mammal that eats mostly algae and fruit.
The Small insect things have evolved into Kerveg, lightweight insects that travel on bubbles they blow.
They prey on small krill.
The Skrex have evolved into Skrax, which are larger and more vicious. They are carnivores that hunt with sonar.
A new arrival to the ecosystem known as the Folle have emerged,
translucent boneless creatures that hunt with poison spines.
A strange species called Eltreb, a species with a long nose-appendage used for
fishing has evolved from previously foreign mammals.
Lastly, a species of fish known as Zilids have emerged from the more simple lifeforms,
and has recently evolved muscles for propelling.
The Erkotekorr has evolved moreso others, and is now a hive-mind fungal species simply called "Erkot".
The Erkot are not as intelligent as Grintep, though their hive mind and instinctive
drive to create stone shelters has made their numbers increase.
As a result, their bonus skill is Fortification.
They are cannibals, though culturally they enjoy hunting for sport, territory, and blood, which they use as ink.
