Martial Arts - Tyrus certainly isn’t an expert combatant due to him never having any real training, however he has learnt how to fight though from his time living in the Narrows. Recently he has spent a large amount of time studying old martial arts videos online and practising these techniques on old mannequins or the various other members of Gotham's Robin Gang. Due to this Tyrus can out-fight just about your average group of thugs or criminals with his fighting skills alone.
Bilingual - Tyrus has picked up some Korean from his parents.
Lockpicking - While no expert, Tyrus learnt how to pick a basic lock at an early age.
Hotwiring - Yet another skill learned during his youth, given enough time, Tyrus could probably get in and hotwire any motor vehicle.
Equipment:
The Robin Suit - Cobbled together from various pieces of clothing and equipment, Tyrus's suit isn't exactly the most high-tech super-suit around. That being said, it does the job. A spray-painted bullet proof vest acts as his main body armour, with gauntlets and armaments stolen from one of the Batman's secret stashes around the city protecting the rest of his limbs. A slick black domino mask covers eyes, concealing his identity. Possibly the most distinct feature of the outfit is the personalized denim sleeveless jacket that Tyrus wears over the top. Just a little personal touch.
Billy Club - Acquired from one of Batman's old weapon stashes hidden throughout Gotham, Tyrus makes use of this billy club as his primary weapon when fighting crime. The billy club can be split into two short sticks, allowing for great usage as a shorter ranged weapon, as well as also able to be converted into a somewhat larger staff. It also makes use of a special steel fiber composite cable, thus allowing the billy club to extend to a target, as well as be used as a grappling hook.
Explosive Pellets – Also acquired from Batman's weapon stash, these are essentially small explosives which can be thrown and used like grenades, despite packing a significantly smaller punch.
Flashbang Pellets – Similar to the explosive pellets, these emit bright light and loud sound to completely blind and deafen enemies.
Weaknesses:
Aside from the typical weaknesses that come with being a typical human being, Tyrus has a severe nut allergy.
Tyrus is also highly inexperienced, having had no real training. As such he can easily be overwhelmed if forced to combat against large numbers of people or generally anyone with any fighting capabilities.
BRIEF Bio:
Tyrus’ parents were a pair of Korean immigrants who arrived in Gotham a year before his birth. There they found their home in the Narrow’s, one of the city’s worst neighbourhoods. Despite this however they managed to do well, with them opening up a Korean Restaurant and making something for themselves. Tyrus did well in school, and was greatly encouraged by his parents to try his best so that he may one day leave Gotham and see the world.
During his early teens however, Tyrus fell in with a rough crowd at school, causing his grades to plummet and his criminal record to skyrocket. As a result of this, he fell in with a local gang known as the River Rats. Fortunately he was too young to gain much notoriety within the gang or to get into too much trouble, and with time, he decided that it would be best to quit. The River Rat’s didn’t take kindly to this however and when they learnt that Tyrus’s parents owned a restaurant, they torched the building. Fortunately help came in the form of the caped crusader, with Batman ensuring that the gang were taken down and Tyrus’ parents got out of the building without being severely hurt. The whole situation put things into perspective however for Tyrus, with him quitting the gang and attempting to return to his previous life, as well as receiving a new role model in the form of the Batman. Still feeling guilty for his actions however, Tyrus realized that he needed to help ensure that this didn’t happen to anyone else.
The perfect opportunity came in the form of the Gotham Robin Gang, a group of likeminded young vigilantes who idolized Batman, much like Tyrus had begun to do. Between school and working part time in the restaurant, Tyrus has now been a “Robin” for a few months. During this time he managed to find and break into one of Batman’s own weapon cashes, one of many dotted around the city, where he acquired equipment for both himself and the rest of the Robins.
Storylines:
Return of the River Rats - With news that the River Rats have returned to the streets, Tyrus decides to go solo from the Robin Gang and take them down on his own.
Professor Pyg - Wanting to impress Batwoman, Robin sets his sights on taking on a real super villain.
Notes:
Will update his costume to something similar to this in the future

APPEARANCE:
Standing at 6”1, Amir has a lean yet muscular figure. Atop his head is a mass of curled charcoal hair, usually propped up with varying amounts of wax depending on the situation. His chin is warmed by the rugged stubble of a beard, complimenting his nougat coloured skin nicely. His eyes a beautiful brown. Amir can always be found wearing a pair of black skinny jeans, usually ones styled with ripped knees. He dresses casually, often sporting a simple t-shirt along with an unbuttoned shirt, the sleeves always rolled up to his elbows.
ABILITIES/SKILLS:
Due to unfortunate circumstances, Amir has found himself possessed by a piece of the otherworldly spirit of the Dark Lord Cthulhu. Fortunately Amir is able to remain in control of the being within him, allowing him to manipulate the abilities this possession has magically imbued him with.
This mostly comes in the form of being able to generate tentacle-like appendages from his body. Dark purple in colour, Amir is able to control their movement and growth, using them as additional limbs or simply as weapons. What’s more is that with deep concentration, Amir is able to enforce a state of madness to anyone his tentacles are touching, causing them to hallucinate their deepest fears and worries. As said before, this can only be done through deep concentration, with the action also causing Amir to tire out after performing this ability. As such, the first time Amir used this, he found himself unconscious for the next couple of days.
In time, Amir has the potential to cause these hallucinations without having to use his tentacles, with a simple glance at an individual being enough to cause them to turn to insanity. Although such an action would take a lot out of Amir, as well as risking his own mind being overridden by Cthulhu.
BACKSTORY:
Born in Lebanon, Amir spent the first couple years of his life in the country before his family moved to America, a result of their increasing poverty since the Lebanese Civil War. Here they flourished, despite the racism that came their way, building a good life for themselves in the state of New Hampshire. High school went as well as it could for someone of Amir’s ethnicity, especially after the 9/11 attacks. Such bullying actually made Amir stronger, causing to stand up and fight for the little guy whenever he could. Amir pushed himself forward, coming to turns with his sexuality, as well as gaining good grades, to the delight of his parents.
When it came to picking a college and looking towards the future, Amir set his eyes on Larissa. He had heard much about the city, having grown a small childhood obsession with the Mavericks several years prior, as well as having spent several weekends there with his friends and a fake ID. After getting a decent score in the SATs, he soon found himself enrolled within Grimm University of Nature and Sciences.
He spent a lot of his nights out clubbing, his fake ID becoming a good friend of his, the Milk District his new home away from home. It was during this time that Amir found himself working part time as a bartender at a local bar; Lilith, not to be confused with the city’s neighbouring district of the same name. It was here that Amir met Oli. The two fell for each other fast and before long Oli had even moved into his dorm room. However despite his newfound happiness, Amir felt like something was wrong. Oli kept making excuses. Backing out of dates because “something came up”. The pure thought that he might have had another man caused a great amount of stress to Amir, who as a result became slightly distant too.
Finally Amir had had enough. After another one of Oli’s unbelievable excuses and exits, Amir followed him. Too his confusion he found himself at an old abandoned church located within the Lower East Side. The sight inside confused him even more. Hooded figures, candles and ominous music, the place screamed danger. The fact that they were reading from an old tome, as well as the creepy looking banners they had up, led Amir to the conclusion that they were part of some kind of crazy cult. He watched from the window as Oli was seemingly brought up to the front of the group, where a cultist holding a knife was stood next to some kind of makeshift altar. Believing that they were meaning to sacrifice Oli, Amir burst into the room in an attempt at helping his boyfriend. Unfortunately he was too late to stop the sacrifice, with the cultist stabbing Oli through the heart.
Amir had no idea what happened next, his mind filling with disastrous and painful images. He felt an immense pain all over his body. He came to his senses a few minutes later, screaming. He wasn’t the only one though. Around him, the cultists whimpered and whined in agony. Some were on the floor in tears, others tearing at their face with their hands. That wasn’t the strangest thing though. Amir found that it was somehow him that was doing this, with a series of dark purple tentacles having emerged from his body, wrapping themselves around them all.
In time Amir would learn to discover what had happened to his body. The explanation came through his nightmares. Through the dark voices in his head. It was a demonic cosmic entity. The Dark Lord; Cthulhu. He spoke to Amir. Tried to manipulate the student. Part of him had bonded to Amir, possessing him to an extent. It had been that damned ritual. Luckily however the human side of Amir had taken control, blocking out Cthulhu’s control of his body.
Knowing that Cthulhu was now fighting for control within him, Amir decided that he had to do something to stop him from succumbing to the darkness. He had to do something good.
MOTIVATION/OBJECTIVE:
Amir's primary motive is essentially to fight back against the piece of Chuthulu within him, not wishing to succumb to the darkness that the being typically brings to its hosts. As such, he strives to help people and to do the right thing, which incidentally is the exact thing that got him into this situation in the first place.
SUPPORTING CAST:
Cthulhu: The Dark Lord himself, part of his Royal Tentacleness resides within Amir, fighting to take control. He often speaks to Amir through his dreams or just as a voice in his head, trying to convince him to embrace his abilities and the madness that they would bring.
Brooke Felstead: Amir’s roommate, the two are great friends, regularly going out clubbing together. While she is unaware of Cthulhu, she has noticed a darkness growing with Amir.
Isam and Bahira Housseini: Amir’s parents. While not strictly the biggest fans of Amir’s lifestyle due to their religious background, love their son dearly. They regularly phone in order to catch up with him, although are fully unaware of what had happened to him.
This is a Character Driven RP, and as such you are encouraged and expected to take charge of your character's sub-plots and storylines. This is a favourite rule of mine, and that said, there will be a heavy emphasis on collaborative activities and team building as well. The GMs will be leading the RP in the traditional sense with a driving plot and will ensure the RP keeps moving however we do want to see you develop your characters and produce your own plots. However we don't want to see you lock your character out of interaction and focus solely on your character and their 'world'. No one enjoys watching you play with yourself, it's always better to let someone else join in on the fun.

Character You Wish To Play: America Chavez
Alias: Ms. America
Moral Alignment: Hero
Affiliation: The Avengers
Character Origin & Backstory:
America Chavez grew up in a mysterious place named the Utopian Parallel with her mums. The Utopian Parallel is a place that strangely exists far from all other worlds; out of time and the multiverse itself. It was created many years ago by a Godly entity known as the Demiurge, the sentient life force of Earth's biosphere who seeded the Earth with 'pieces' of its own life essence. Life didn’t stay like paradise for long. At the age of six, America watched as destruction approached her home, with a black hole appearing in the sky. Tragically, the hole was attempting to pull her home directly into the multiverse, which would potentially destroy all life on the Parallel in the process. America’s mothers, the guardians of the Utopian Parallel, heroically sacrificed their bodies and souls in order to seal the black hole. Eager to help her mothers, America flew towards the hole not knowing what her parents were doing. This resulted in her being sucked through, with America finding herself alive and well in the multiverse.
Due to her mothers’ particles being smeared across the entire Multiverse as a result of them sealing the black holes, America found that she could now physically kick open her own doorways through reality, allowing her to travel the multiverse at her will. Deciding to make her parents proud and to honour their sacrifice, she trained and explored, eventually adopting the moniker ‘Ms. America’, and began fighting crime and against any threats that she came across.
Eventually, Ms. America became a member of the Teen Brigade, a team of teenager superheroes led by the Ultimate Nullifier. They faced many threats during their time together, although none of them that major, with the group regularly going toe to toe with z-listers or simple thugs and robbers. It was mainly for these reasons why America soon decided to leave, with her believing that she could probably do a much better job on her own. Well that, and the fact that she had begun a relationship with the Ultimate Nullifier who defiantly wasn’t her type by a long shot.
While still travelling the multiverse, America tends to frequently reside on Earth-212, a platonic perfect ideal of New York, where the metropolis has swept the entire globe and there’s mountains made of statues of liberty. This is when she discovers Earth-76031, with her realizing that here is crime rates are high and people are in serious need of a good punching. Especially when she discovered that someone was supplying MGH to Earth-212 from this new dimension.
Season 1 Summary:
America debuted on Earth-76031 started with a bang, after finding herself going toe to toe with the Incredibly Hulk. Luckily she found help in the form of the female Thor, although the fight would result in more harm being done than good, with their efforts only making the Hulk angrier, causing him to cause even more destruction. Fortunately Loki managed to put a stop to this by teleporting the green beast away.
America and Thor were soon picked up by S.H.I.E.L.D. where she was introduced to this Earth's Captain America. Explaining to him her situation, she left in order to finish her mission of stopping the inter-dimensional MGH dealer. She recruited mutant telepath Quentin Quire to assist her, who after using his abilities discovered that whoever was behind the dealings worked at a company called Bishop Packaging.
There they discovered that the company's CEO, Derek Bishop, was working alongside the dimension hopping mutant Pusher Man. While taking them down, American and Quentin were assisted by Derek's daughter Kate. After the fight, S.H.I.E.L.D. came to do cleanup, while the mysterious Hyperion arrived and invited America to join the Avengers, taking her to the Triskellion where they took part in a group training mission.

Her death changed things in her father, causing him to focus on his work more rather than his child.
On the Christmas Eve of 2011, Kate had been walking through Central Park on her way home when she was assaulted. The event traumatized Kate, who spent the next few weeks in a silent and isolated state. However, realizing that she shouldn’t dwell onto the past and move forward instead, Kate was motivated to learn self-defence in case something ever happened to her again. Character You Wish To Play: Quintavius "Quentin" Quirinius Quire AKA Mutant Omega
Moral Alignment: Hero
Affiliation: None
Character Origin & Backstory:
Quentin's outing as a mutant wasn't all that dramatic in a sense, although his parents defiantly weren't too happy. It began with a series of violent migraines, with him at one point breaking down in class due to all the voices speaking in his head. Quire later came to understand that the voices were in fact the thoughts of everyone around him, as well as the fact that he was a mutant.
He began to train and after a while he gained control of his mental abilities, resulting in him being able to think clearly without hearing everyone’s thoughts. He pushed on with his train further, stretching out with his psychic power. Quentin began to breeze through high school, simply stealing any information he needed to know for tests right out of the examiner’s heads, as well as keeping school bullies well away from him. Everything was going great for Quentin; everyone “liked” him, he had his parents wrapped around his finger obeying his every move, and he could generally get away with whatever he wanted.
That was when the mysterious America Chavez came into his life, requesting his help. The two of them, along with the help of Kate Bishop, managed to take down her father, Derek Bishop, who was distrubting Mutant Growth Hormone across New York and the Multiverse using the powers of the dimensional hopping Pusher Man. After sending the two villains to the slammer, the trio of young heroes split up, although not before agreeing to keeping in contact with one another.
Unfortunately it would seem that Quentin only complied with this agreement for two weeks after leaving S.H.I.E.L.D. custody, before mysteriously disappearing off of the grid. He hasn't been seen since.

Telepathy: Quentin his capable of using deep and subtle influence, as well as displaying various psionic abilities with the minds of others including reading and communicating with thoughts over vast distances. Psychic Intelligence: He is able to organize and construct his thoughts at accelerated rates, process data at high speeds, construct and formulate his thoughts with vast quantity and quality, project ideas and impressions into the minds of others and naturally shield himself from psychic assaults.

Character You Wish To Play: Humberto Lopez AKA Reptil
Moral Alignment: Hero
Affiliation: S.H.I.E.L.D.
Character Origin & Backstory:
Growing up, Humberto always had a fascination with superheroes, collecting old comic books from an early ages. It was essentially a dream come true when he turned on the news one day to see the debut of the Amazing Spider-Man. He constantly dreamt about one day becoming a hero himself, and little did he know that was going to happen.
His parents worked for S.H.I.E.L.D., both of them palaeontologists. They often took Humberto along with them during archaeological digs, in an effort to persuade to take part in the family business. It was during one of these digs that he found a strange mysterious amulet, which seemed to be made out of some kind of fossilized gemstone.
While playing with the amulet, Humberto accidently caused it to send a burst of energy towards one of the other S.H.I.E.L.D. scientists on the dig; Dr. Vincent Stegron. At once Stegron’s body began to shift and change, until he had turned into some sort of dinosaur man. To make matters worse, as soon as the Amulet had blasted Stegron, it had implanted itself into Humberto’s chest. During the following conflict, Humberto managed to escape into the woods. However it wasn’t until he was far away that he noticed that his legs had transformed into those of a dinosaur.
Later upon returning to the site, Humberto found that his parents had mysteriously vanished, along with Stegron. He was soon picked up by a platoon of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents whom had come as backup, and was returned to the Triskelion. There S.H.I.E.L.D. became aware of his newfound powers, and he was subjected to weeks of testing. After they were unable to remove the Amulet from his chest, S.H.I.E.L.D. decided that it would be useful to train Humberto in the use of his abilities. He was placed onto a training program, where he decided to take on the alias of Reptil.
He was a hero at last!
Powers and Abilities:
Prehistoric Animal Metamorphosis: Due to the amulet’s mysterious properties, Reptil is able to transform certain parts of his body into that of dinosaurs, such as pterodactyl wings, a tail, or a velociraptor’s legs. He has yet to transform to be able to transform into a complete dinosaur.
Sample Story Arcs:
Prehistoric Problems: In an effort to help a friend, America finds herself in the Savage Land.
Mutant and Proud: Where is Quentin Quire?
Wrath of Cain: Classic Juggernaut shenanigans.
Young Avengers: Just a lil' something something i've been wanting to do.

“Wrong answer, Chico”
You’d think that with an Earth where New York stretches across the entire planet that there’d be more superheroes. Spider-man, Daredevil, you name it. It would seem that this wasn’t the case on Earth-212. Unfortunately though, there was however an abundance of so called supervillains. In America Chavez’s eyes, that wasn’t completely bad. It even made her kind of happy in a way. She finally had people to punch. Well people that deserved it of course!
This guy in particular was just your regular drug dealing thug, with the feeble man sporting what appeared to be an entire tracksuit. Obviously he didn’t own a mirror, which was surprising considering everything she had heard. From what she had gathered after “nicely asking” the local junkies, ol’ tracksuit here got his stuff directly from the main supplier. The drug in question? MGH. Mutant Growth Hormone. Powerful stuff. Just one hit could potentially give the user omega level mutant abilities. That enough was enough to get America Chavez on the case although that wasn’t the only reason. What intrigued and worried Chavez the most was that there weren’t any mutants on Earth-212. So where the mierda was he getting it from?
“I swear to god, I don’t know!” The man’s Brooklyn accent was clear as day, although that wasn't exactly rare considering there were around 14 different Brooklyns on this Earth. Oh dios. America’s patience was wearing thin. She had enough of this. It was time for action.
“If the next few words to leave your mouth even rhymes with the ‘I don’t know’, I’ll be breaking your fingers…” America’s eyes glared angrily into the man’s as she pulled his arm in between the two. “…one by one.”
“Listen bitch! I don’t…” Well at least she gave him a chance. The scream that followed masked the sound of snapping bones, with the drug dealer collapsing to the floor in pain. He wailed and moaned as he flopped about the floor, while America simply took the time to check her watch. Her attention snapped back however when he finally decided to talk.
“Alright… alright I’ll talk! I’ll give you the address!”
“That’s the smartest thing you’ve said all day, Chico.”
★★★★★
It was obviously a trap. Tracksuit back there had managed to phone ahead before getting picked up by the cops. Fortunately a group of 20 armed guards wasn’t going to be an issue for Ms. America. She tore through the men with ease, easily breaking several bones in the process. Her prize though wasn’t all too exciting. Whoever was behind the drug production here had cleared up shop. By the looks of it, it had only been recently too. America swore angrily under her breath. All night she had been working this case, yet she was still no closer to solving it.
That was until she detected something off about the warehouse. The particles around her shifted awkwardly as if they had been broken apart. Of course! It was obvious now. Whoever this sucker was, they had access to the multiverse. All that frickin’ power and what do they do? Sell drugs. Absolutely ridiculous. If they were going to take the time to break the laws of physics, then they may as well do something decent for their efforts.
Deciding it was time to take her leave, America closed her eyes and concentrated. Focussing on the energy around her, she stamped down breaking the ground. No, not the ground, the walls of the multiverse. The star shaped portal shattered instantly, leaving a pure white decent into nothing. America frowned at the sight, with her having just detected where it would be taking her. Earth-76031. Perfect. Looks like she wouldn’t be having Korean BBQ until. It was the little changes across the multiverse that did the most damage in her opinion, like the lack of cooking skills on some Earths. Sighing, she gave one last look around at the warehouse, the beaten thugs and even the occasional glimpse of the night sky, before diving through the star shaped hole.
Player Name: Natty
Character You Wish To Play: Frederick "Fred" Myers
Alias: Boomerang
Moral Alignment: Villain
Affiliation: None as of yet.
Character Origin & Backstory:
Migrating from Australia into the US at an early age, Fred's mother sent him away to baseball for his first summer in the country, in an attempt to get the boy to make friends and to take his mind off the move and her recent divorce. Sending Fred to the camp turned out to be a good decision, as he quickly grew to love the sport, joining his local team after discovering he had the arm to be a great pitcher. He soon began to dream of pitching for a major league team one day. Amazingly this dream seemed to come true, with Fred becoming a professional baseball player in the minor leagues after graduating high school, before entering the major leagues a few years later.
However it was during this time that Fred seemed to fall into a bad crowd, and after a while built up a considerable dept with a local loan-shark. In an effort to payback his debts, Fred began taking bribes to loose games so that his loan-shark could bet on him. This plan backfired tremendously however, with Fred getting caught out and suspended from playing baseball any more. His life fell apart after that, with Fred simply staying home all day and refusing to leave the house.
That was when he was approached by Secret Empire, an international criminal organization who felt that Fred had the potential to be of great use for them due to his world-class pitching skills. Due to his Australian heritage, they aptly named him Boomerang, equipping him with a costume, as well as a collection of razor sharp boomerangs. After robbing a small bank in Brooklyn for the group, Fred wasn't happy with his cut, considering he had done the heavy lifting. Due to this, Fred gave an anonymous tip to the police on the group's location and had them arrested.
Keeping the suit, Boomerang soon branched out on his own, performing a variety of minor robberies. He was soon confronted by the amazing Spider-Man, and after a short scuffle, found himself behind bars. During his time in prison, he began to plot his revenge against the hero, forming a hatred for the guy. He soon discovered that his cellmate, Herman Schultz, had also been apprehended by Spider-Man, with the two bonding slightly over this. Herman soon suggested that they form some kind of team, in order to more easily complete heists, as well as have more firepower once the heroes turned up.
Returning to the streets of New York, Boomerang and Shocker brought this idea to life, inviting both Hydro-Man and Speed Demon to join them.
Season 1 Summary:
After picking up his former cellmate, the Shocker, from prison, Boomerang led his ragtag bunch of crooks to the Bar With No Name for a celebratory drink. Here, Speed Demon managed to start a fight with another super-powered bar patron; Hippo. This led to a full on bar brawl, with Boomerang, Shocker, Speed Demon, and Hydro-Man VS Hippo, Mirage, Big Wheel, and Leap-Frog. After winning the fight, Boomerang revealed to his team that they were going to try and steal a painting of the infamous Doctor Doom. A painting of him without his mask!
Since that evening, the group have begun planning their heist, performing a few small jobs here and there.
Powers and Abilities:
While Myers has no real superhuman abilities, he is skilled in the area of creating and using complicated boomerangs of his own designs as weapons. Examples of his arsenal includes:
Explosive Boomerang: Detonates on contact, damage to all in one area.
Razor Boomerang: A boomerang capable of cutting through bone and flesh when thrown correctly.
Both of these designs are collapsible for easy concealment.
Supporting Cast:
Herman Schultz AKA Shocker: Herman was Fred's cellmate during his most recent stay in the slammer. After getting out the two stayed in touch, working jobs together. Herman is probably the closest thing Fred has to a friend, as well as being the one whom (unfortunately) introduced him to Hydro-Man and Speed Demon.
Morris Bench AKA Hydro-Man: A fellow super villain, Hydro-Man often teams up with Boomerang and Shocker when the opportunity arises.
James Sanders AKA Speed Demon: A speedster, James is as annoying as he is fast. Fred often finds himself wanting to throttle the guy, and the only reason he hasn't is because he's useful.
Sample Story Arcs: Give 2-3 ideas on where you want to go with your character.
Heist of the century: The gang attempt to get their hands on a legendary (possibly made up) artifact that currently lies in the hands of the infamous Kingpin of crime.
The New Sinister Six: After the spectacular Spider-Man apprehends the villainous Sinister Six, Boomerang decides that his crew is good enough as any to take the mantle!
The Thunderbolts: Apprehended once more, Fred finds himself on the raft, although things may not be as bad as they seem when he receives a unique offer from the warden.
Sample Post:
The patrons of the Bar with No Name held their breath as Fred Myers’ boomerang whizzed through the air towards Mirage. That was until the gleaming white projectile shot right pass the yellow clad “supervillain” entirely, resulting in an eruption of laughter from pretty much everyone. Including some of Fred’s own crew, with James, AKA Speed Demon, giving him a thumbs up and nodding in a very mockingly manner.
All Fred could do was shake his head disappointingly. When would people learn?
As if to prove his point, Mirage was struck from behind, the boomerang knocking the has-been to his knees. At once, Fred charged forwards, swinging his leg around as he approached his target and launching his foot as hard as he could into the guy’s stomach. It was this action that erupted the bar into chaos. The monstrous Hippo roared loudly after watching his partner Desmond take such a beating, as well as swinging his arm once more towards Speed Demon. This time the walking mammal managed to hit him, with the speedster having been distracted by Fred. The blow from Hippo sent him flying across the room, causing him to crash straight through a table of tough looking thugs. Obviously they weren’t too happy, with their drinks smashing all over the now broken table, as well as themselves. The group rose to their feet in anger, attempting to make a grab for Speed Demon.
While this had been going on, the rest of Hippo’s gang had started to make their move. It was only now that Fred could get a good look at them, and boy was he disappointed. First came Leap-Frog. Yes, that’s right. A supervillain actually named Leap-Frog. Sure, Boomerang wasn’t all that great a name, but at least he didn’t run around wearing a frog costume. His mask was currently off, revealing the face of a slightly chubby and balding Latino man who was probably in his late 40s. His name was Vincent, if Fred could remember correctly. Not like it would matter in a few minutes when Fred had kicked his ass. The next and final member was a man Fred could only assume was the Big Wheel, evident by the stupid helmet he was wearing. The guy had gone on a crime spree in some kind of ferris-wheel car, only for Spider-Man to send the thing toppling into the Hudson River. Fred was honestly surprised to see him, although thinking about it, who else would be stupid enough to team up with Mirage and Leap-Frog.
The two charged towards them, evidently looking for blood. Before they could get near however they were hit by a wall of water. The wave knocked them to the floor, taking out a few more tables of now pissed-off criminals in the process. As the two slid about on the floor, they were surprised to find the water drawing back and erupting into the shape of a giant fist. Big Wheel’s scream faded abruptly as the watery fist engulphed him, his suit sparking slightly after contacting the surge of water. It was then that the water seemed to shift once more, taking the form of Fred’s “friend” Morris Bench, AKA Hydro-Man. The watery man gave Fred a smile, and was about to speak before a glass came flying towards him. It shattered across his back, causing him to fall forward in pain. The criminal whom had frown it charged after it, leaping at Morris, only to find himself submerged in the man’s liquid body.
Leap-Frog had managed to avoid Morris’ hit, with him instead propelling himself towards the spot where Fred was stood, his mechanical boots churning as he did so. Luckily Fred was ready for him. He rolled out of the way to the left onto the floor, narrowly avoiding the attack.
Moving frantically across the floor, he made a grab for his boomerang which had landed a metre or two away from where it had struck Mirage. Unfortunately it was the only weapon Fred had on him right now, given that the rest of his equipment, as well as his costume, was back at his apartment. The same could be said for Herman Schultz, AKA Shocker, who was currently punching his way towards Speed Demon, whom was speedily trying to deal with the men he had crashed into. Fred had assumed that the Shocker would be useless without his gear, and luckily that wasn’t the case. It would seem that his last encounter with Spider-Man had hardened the man even more than Fred had expected.
Now wasn’t the time to think about that however, as Leap-Frog was soon upon Fred once more. He towered above Boomerang, stomping his “Frog Boots” towards him. The mechanized boots thudded loudly against the floor every time he missed, displaying to Fred exactly what they were capable of. He really didn’t want to get hit by one of those bad boys. Boomerang in hand, he swung forward, slicing Leap-Frog’s leg. The blade cut deep, causing Frogman to wail loudly in agony. As he began to fall forward, Boomerang grabbed an empty glass from a table above him and smashed it wildly into Leap-Frog’s head.
The lack of movement told Fred that Leap-Frog was down for the count, giving him the opportunity to get himself onto his feet. From here he glance up at the brawl unfolding before him. At the centre of the fight was Hippo; roaring loudly as per usual and dealing some heavy damage to all that neared him. He wasn’t the only one however that seemed to be doing well; Hydro-Man had risen high above his opponents, the lower half of his body currently made up of a tower of water. He swung his arms about below him, converting his fists into balls of condensed water as they hit people. To his right was Speed Demon, who whizzed about from thug to thug in a blur. His punches were fast, causing his combatants to not even be able to land a single blow on him. All the while he laughed manically, mocking his targets. Finally there was Shocker, who again seemed to be doing surprising well despite lacking his quilted costume and equipment. He tore through criminal after criminal, his fists now dripping slightly in bloody.
Fred was extremely impressed. Who knew his little crew could be this useful?
A sound from his right caught his attention however. It would seem that Desmond had finally stated to stir after Fred had hit him several minutes ago.
“You’re… you’re an asshole Boomerang…”
The man’s eyes widened as Fred leant down towards him, with Mirage catching sight of the bloody boomerang that Fred currently had twirling between his fingers. The look on his face was enough to cause Fred to chuckle slightly. He moved his arm back slightly, preparing to throw it. This in turn simply caused Mirage to squeal slightly in fear. However instead of throwing it, Fred slowed his arm as he brought it forward, simply tapping the boomerang against Mirage’s forehead through the hole he had on his mask.
“Mate, you just keep that thought in mind when you watch me slice through the ligaments in the knee of your friend Hippo ova’ there. Okay?”
As Mirage continued to whimper, Boomerang rose back to his feet. His eyes locked onto Hippo ahead of him, who was still working his muscular magic in the centre of the bar fight. Smiling, he gave his Boomerang one last twirl in his hand, before charging forward into the fray.

Origin Info/Details:
Unknown to many, the events within William Shakespeare’s comedy A Midsummer Night's Dream hadn’t actually originated from within the great playwrights mind. Instead the tale had been described to him during a walk through the woods where he had encountered a mystical being near a circle of mushrooms. That being had in fact been one of the tale’s character’s; Puck, a member of the Fair Folk. They being an ancient race that inhabit the realm of Alfheim, part of the Otherworld.
King Oberon reigned over Alfheim, with the great Faerie King making sure that Alfheim’s existence was kept secret to the rest of the Otherworld’s inhabitants, in order to keep its peace. During his reign, he sired several children, one of which was a young faerie named Caséway.
It was during his adolescent years that Caséway started to rebel against his father’s wishes. He began to neglect his studies, believing that he had no need for the mystical arts. He soon fell in with the likes of Puck, his father’s servant. Despite having been extremely reprimanded for revealing their race’s existence years prior to a number of inhabitants of Earth, most notably the famous playwright mentioned previously, Puck continued his mischievous ways. Caséway had found a father figure in Puck, whom had taken a shine to the boy more than Oberon had ever done.
This didn’t stop the trickster from roping Caséway into his schemes however. A mere few weeks before Caséway was to receive his wings and thus enter adulthood, he found himself arguing with his father, after a trick gone wrong had caused Oberon to be humiliated in front of his people. Believing his son to have no respect whatsoever to him and his kingdom, Oberon decided that in order to teach his son a lesson, he was to be banished from Alfheim and condemned to walk among the people of Earth until he could earn back his honour.
And so it was done. Despite his protests Caséway soon found himself awakening in the middle of an empty wood. After some exploring he came across a small village, where he learnt of his whereabouts; Wales. He spent the first few months in that village, waiting for his father to invite him back home. In time, he began to lose hope. Eventually he left, venturing away and out into the world.
In time, Caséway became Casey Harper. He spent the next decade alone, never aging, yet always remembering. He had been living in a small apartment in Cardiff when the first superheroes were introduced to the world. They intrigued him and after a while, even started to inspire him. He did have abilities after all. Sure they weren’t as developed as many of his people, but that didn’t mean they couldn’t be any help. He fashioned himself a costume, making use his favourite green cloak that he had arrived to Earth in, as well as giving himself a new name; Puck, after person who had brought him here.
His first act of crime fighting had gone down well. His hallucinogenic dust had sent a group of armed thugs to sleep instantly, mainly because they were too confused as to why they were being attacked by a teenager in tights to do anything to stop him. After being recorded on someone’s phone, he became some sort of viral celebrity to the people of Cardiff. So much so that he received cheers of praise during his next few heroic outings. All was going well. Or so he thought.
After stopping a group of crooks who had been trying to escape in a getaway car, Casey soon found himself surrounded by a number of black federal looking SUVs. It was then that he found himself introduced to a man named Stephen Colbert, who revealed that he had become extremely interested in Casey ever since he had seen the boy on the news. He informed him that his company, Colbert International, was aiming to partner with younger and newer heroes in an effort to assist them with their heroics financially and politically. He invited Casey to join, although before the young hero could, he realized that the men that had surrounded him were all armed. When he declined, he found them all aimed at him. Before they could open fire or capture him however, a magical door seemed to appear infront of him; revealing a number fellow teenage superheroes. After fending off Colbert’s men, Casey left with them through the door, finding himself inside a giant library.
Here the three teenagers introduced themselves; their leader was Adam Pullen, a young man whose energy manipulating abilities seemed to be controlled by his confidence. As such he referred to himself as Kid Awesome. Next came Mason Shaw, the team’s technopath and resident IT guy. He was Gizmo. Finally was Maisie Andrews, part of a long line of Witches, and owner of one of Merlin’s own ancient spell books. The library belonged to her, with the door being able to open anywhere on Earth.
The group revealed that instead of partnering up with young superheroes, Colbert had been in fact capturing and experimenting on them. The team had been formed after he had attempted to capture them. Casey agreed to join their fight against Colbert and rescue the rest of the teenagers that he had captured.
Hero Type: Mystic / Supernatural
Power Level: City Level
Powers: Faerie Physiology:
Like the rest of the fair folk, Casey has pointed “elf-like” ears, black eyes with no pupils, and a mass of brightly coloured hair atop his head; in Casey’s case, this is mint green. Casey also appears extremely light on his feet, with him able to move from place to quickly and quietly, as if he is flying.
Magical Potential:
Due to his ancestry, Casey has a strong capacity to manipulate mystical energy. That would be if Casey had taken his studies seriously. Sure he has the potential, but he can’t do anything with it.
Chlorokinesis:
While Casey, most likely due to his faerie physiology, has a seemingly mystical connection to the plant world. While he isn’t able to manipulate and animate plants without extreme concentration, Casey can speak to them, as well as “encourage” them to grow.
Hallucinogenic Dust:
Unknown to simply be a feature of his faerie physiology or due to his magical abilities, with a wiggle of his fingers, Casey can produces spores which if inhaled or taken in through skin-contact can cause powerful visual and auditory hallucinations.
Immortality:
Like most faeries, Casey is immortal. He is immune to the effects of aging and will cease to continue aging once he reaches adulthood.
Bilingual:
Casey can speak, read, and write both English and Fey, the ancient language of his people, fluently.
Botany:
Probably due to his chlorokinesis abilities, Casey has always loved plants. Because of this, he decided to look into the field in his spare time.
Strength Level: Normal Human Speed/Reaction Timing Level: 20 Endurance at MAXIMUM Effort: 2 Agility: 5x Intelligence: Average Fighting Skill: Trained
Weaknesses:
Casey’s weakness, shared with the rest of the fair folk is cold iron. A blow from a weapon made out of it could possibly weaken Casey enough to nearly kill him. Numerous other well-known methods of warding off faeries also have a considerable affect against him, which makes his life quite problematic sometimes. These include; wearing clothing inside out, church bells, four-leaf clovers and even bread embarrassingly. Casey doesn’t know why but he just feels faint around the stuff.
Supporting Characters:
Originating from Canada and the self proclaimed leader of the group, Adam has the ability of flight, super strength, as well as energy blasts. His abilities rely on his confidence however, meaning that the more he believes in himself and what he is doing, the stronger he is, and the less susceptible to damage he becomes. This of course means that he can be an arrogant jerk.
The team's resident tech guy, Mason is a technopath. Despite his abilities however, he's more comfortable behind a computer screen rather than out in the action. Constantly struggling to find a way of setting up WIFI in the mysterious library.
Maisie was shocked to discover her family secret that they came from a long line of witches. She soon inherited a spellbook which had in fact once belonged to Merlin himself. While experimenting with the book, she discovered the library, a mystical building located within the Otherworld, the door of which is able to open to anywhere in the world.
Head of Colbert International, Stephen is a mysterious business man who seeks to capture and experiment on teenage superheroes, the reason for which remains unknown to the group. Colbert has offices all around the world, most noticeably in Pacific Point, Richmond and Grant City
Character you have created: Gabriela "Gabi" Rivero
Alias: Chaac, Crazy Axe Lady
Speech Color: Plum
Character Alignment: Hero
Identity: Secret
Character Personality: Fundamentally, Gabi constantly strives to do good, despite the cost. She comes across as tough and aggressive, although unbeknownst to most, this is merely her attempting to disguise the pain of losing her family. This pain also comes in the form of her constantly questioning and arguing with Chaac, whom she knows is watching over her, all because she blames him for the death of her father during Tropical Storm Agatha.
She has a tough time making friends, but the relationships she does develop end up being extremely loyal and strong.

Origin Info/Details:
Many years ago, the Pantheon of Mayan Gods was alive with the same fire and power as that of the Olympians.
One such member was Chaac; the God of Rain and Thunder. During the earliest days of mankind, people starved beneath the beating heat of the sun. That was until Chaac discovered a golden boulder deep within the mountains, and after breaking it in two with his mighty axe, he found maize, the crop that would change the Mayan people forever. Chaac was worshipped for bringing Maize to the world, however this soon went to his head. He began an affair with the wife of the Sun God, Kinich Ahau, his brother. After the affair’s discovery, in an act of regret, Chaac struck the sky with his axe, releasing his tears of regret in the form of rain. Since then, Chaac turned his attention solely on helping mankind.
Even after the fall of the Mayan Civilization, the Mayan Gods lived on. In an attempt to keep their efforts alive, every 100 years, one God would select a Champion on Earth to represent them and their passion. Now, it was time for the God of Rain, to select a champion.
And that champion was Gabriela Rivero.
Gabi was born and raised in Guatemala City to a loving mother and father. Her family were fairly well off, with her father working as a professor at the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala, an expert on Mayan Mythology. Because of this, Gabi often found herself falling asleep to the stories of the Mayan Gods. This was soon to change however when due to lack of funding, her father was fired from his job. With no income, the family found themselves in a dire situation, being push from their cushy life and into one of poverty. On top of this her mother soon grew ill. Without any money, they could only watch as her condition worsened, until after a few heartbreaking months, the inevitable happened.
Just as Gabi was beginning to find her place in the world after the loss of her mother, Tropical Storm Agatha struck the city. During the storm, the sewage system collapsed, creating a large sinkhole that completely swallowed Gabi’s entire street. Fortunately beforehand Gabi had made it out. However the same couldn’t be said for her father. After evacuating, Gabi discovered that they had forgotten to bring the last remaining photograph that they owned of her mother. Not wishing to see his daughter as distressed as she was, her father went back in order to retrieve it. A mere minute more and he would have made it back.
Heartbroken, Gabriela found herself alone and broken.
After a while of working practically every hour of the day and only barely managing to scrape by, Gabi joined an illegal logging expedition, hoping to make some decent money for once. All the while she kept her head down, avoiding the armed guards who had been hired to keep away the authorities. It had only been a month when while deep in the jungles, the guards were finally put to good use. During the gun fight, Gabi attempted to make some sort of escape, sprinting into the woods.
She soon came across a humungous valley cutting deep into the forest. The pure sight of it was breath-taking, compelling Gabi, lumber axe still in hand, to explore it further. As she made her way to the bottom, she soon laid eyes upon something she recognised from her late father’s bedtime stories; a Mayan Temple. A voice in her head told her to enter, and so she did. Inside was something that surprised her even further; a golden boulder. As soon as she saw it, she knew exactly what to do. Taking her lumber axe, she raised it above her head and with a powerful swing broke the rock in two.
At once the temple door’s slam shut, thunder echoing loudly. The skies darkened, filled with clouds. And then it began to rain. The water poured in through the temple’s skylight, flooding the room unnaturally fast. Trapped, Gabi began to panic. She was going to drown. As she tried her best to escape, that same voice from before spoke to her. She let the water engulph her as she now knew. She was to be Chaac’s champion. The waters empowered her, making her stronger. Wiser. Then as quickly as the room had filled, it emptied, the water draining away into nothingness and the door sliding open as if nothing had happened. But something had happened.
Gabi, now blessed by Chaac, instantly sought to put her newfound abilities to good use. With her axe in hand, she returned to Guatemala City, intent on bringing justice to the criminals that plagued her home. And as expected of the Mayan Champions, she took on the name of her creator, becoming Chaac.
After stopping a group of crooks who had been trying to escape in a getaway car, Chaac soon found herself surrounded by a number of black federal looking SUVs. Such a sight was all too rare in Guatemala City. It was then that she found himself introduced to a British man named Stephen Colbert. It was here that she learnt that one of her newfound abilities was being able to speak and understand any language she heard. Colbert revealed that he had become extremely interested in Chaac ever since he had seen her introduction to the world on the news. He informed her that his company, Colbert International, was aiming to partner with younger and newer heroes in an effort to assist them with their heroics financially and politically. He invited Chaac to join, although before the young hero could, she realized that the men that had surrounded her were all armed. As she began to decline, she found them all aimed at her. Before they could open fire or capture her however, a magical door seemed to appear infront of her; revealing a number fellow teenage superheroes. After fending off Colbert’s men, Gabi left with them through the door, strangely finding herself inside an empty diner.
Finally was Maisie Andrews, apparently one of the many granddaughters of the legendary Baba Yaga. The "diner" belonged to her, with her having accidentally sent the building to a pocket dimension of her creation, with the door being able to open anywhere on Earth.
The group revealed that instead of partnering up with young superheroes, Colbert had been in fact capturing and experimenting on them. The team had been formed after he had attempted to capture them. Gabi agreed to join their fight against Colbert and rescue the rest of the teenagers that he had captured.
Hero Type: Mystic / Supernatural
Power Level: City Level - Potentially World Level
Powers: Gabi has been blessed by the God of Rain himself, giving her a number of abilities. These include;
Weather Manipulation:
Due to Chaac being the God of Rain, Gabi is able to manipulate the weather, calling upon rain or even thunderstorms at will.
Rain Rejuvenation:
When in contact with rain water, Gabi finds herself rejuvenated, gaining a disproportionate amount of superhuman clarity, strength, speed, agility, and endurance.
Axe of Chaac:
Possibly one of Gabi's most useful attributes is her axe. While it had originated as a simple lumber axe, after being blessed by Chaac, the Axe now resembles that of Chaac's very own weapon. Firstly, it is one of the most powerful weapons ever made, with the ability to cut through any earthly material. The weapon can also be used to help Gabi to direct her weather manipulation, much like a wand for example. However if someone else was to use the axe, it would function just like any other axe. This is because the axe's properties aren't confined to that specific axe, instead to Gabi herself. Upon picking up another random axe, that weapon would then become the Axe of Chaac, with the old one returning to just a regular blade.
Godly Metamorphosis:
As Gabi makes use of her Godly powers, her body gradually begins to take the form of Chaac himself, the change starting from her axe hand. So far at its worse, her metamorphosis hasn't spread no more than halfway up her arm, with her body haven't begun to be coated with dark blue scales, reminiscent of Chaac's.
Multilingual:
Gabi is able to instantly communicate in any earthly dialect.
Strength Level: 40 tons Speed/Reaction Timing Level: 20 mph Endurance at MAXIMUM Effort: 3 hours Agility: 5x Intelligence: Average Fighting Skill: Trained
Weaknesses:

Because of this, Maisie discovered that she was in fact able to tap into the Arcane Stream. While experimenting with her new found magical abilities, she created a pocket dimension, where she accidently sent the diner that she had been working in. Luckily no one else had been inside at the time. Unfortunately she found that she was unable to send it back, however upon further experimentation, she discovered that she could manipulate the diner's entrance so that it could open up anywhere in the world.
Originating from Canada and the self proclaimed leader of the group, Adam has the ability of flight, super strength, as well as energy blasts. Name: Cliff Steele - Robotman
Alignment: Neutral Good
Affiliation: The Doom Patrol
History:
Throughout his youth, Cliff was always a daredevil of sorts, obsessing over his dad's old Evel Knievel tapes, and practicing tricks on his bike everyday. This led him to pursue every extreme sport that he could when he was old enough, from base-jumping to race car driving. Before long, he found himself involved in the NASCAR circuit, acquiring a considerable amount of fame for his skill.
It was during his time as a NASCAR circuit that Cliff found himself the subject of a terrible accident; his car slid on an oil spill that had mysteriously appeared on the track, causing it to topple over. During this his car exploding, destroying Cliff's body in the process.
His life was saved however by a mysterious and wealthy benefactor, who discovered that while Cliff's body had been destroyed, his brain managed to survive. The benefactor managed to transfer the brain into an extremely advanced cybernetic body.
Cliff awoke inside Star Labs a few weeks later and was shocked to discover what had happened to him. Enraged he tried to leave, not wishing to be experimented on or changed any further. As he attempted his escape, security attempted to stop him, sending him into a brief rampage.
He was soon calmed down by the words of Doctor Niles Caulder, a man who introduced himself to Cliff as simply The Chief. He offered to help give Cliff a new lease on life; inviting him to join a team of super-humans he had been putting together. Cliff agreed, taking on the name of Robotman, and joining the newly formed Doom Patrol along side Negative Man and Elasti-Girl.
The Doom Patrol worked out of their Headquarters on Oolong Island, a recently turned resort town with a large super-science background. During their superhero efforts, the team recently discovered that a large percentage of their enemies seemed to be involved in an organisation known as the Brotherhood of Evil. The Chief instantly became set on taking them down.
Supporting Cast:

Doctor Niles Caulder AKA The Chief - The leader of the Doom Patrol, the Chief's past remains a mystery to the team.
Rita Farr AKA Elasti-Girl - A former Hollywood actress, Elasti-Girl is able to expand or shrink her body at will. One of Robotman's greatest friends.
Larry Trainor AKA Negative Man - Before becoming Negative Man, Larry was a test pilot for the US Air Force. He is able to project his astral self from his body.
Piotr Rasputin AKA Colossus - During a meeting with the X-Men, Robotman formed a friendly rivalry with the team's resident "Metal Man".
Ben Grimm AKA The Thing - Cliff and Ben became good friends after meeting, due to the two of them sharing a common feeling of being an outsider. Like with Cliff and Colossus, the two also regularly compete to see who's stronger.
Enemies and Rivals
The Brain - Believed to be the head of the Brotherhood of Evil, the Doom Patrol seek to discover who he really is.
Monsieur Mallah - A super-intelligent gorilla, Monsier Mallah is believed to be the right hand man, or Gorilla, to The Brain. He is as intelligent as he is fearsome.
Madame Rouge - Another known operative of the Brotherhood of Evil, the French villainess has the ability to stretch her body to unbelievable lengths, as well as morph her body in order to shape-shift.
How (if at all) does the New Frontier version of your character differ from the original?:
Robotman doesn't differ too much from his comic counter-part, with possibly the biggest difference is the team having their headquarters on Oolong Island from the very beginning. I plan on playing a Robotman who is early on in his career, with him still dealing with becoming essentially a brain in a tin can. I also plan on exploring the "weirder" characters of this shared universe, due to the Doom Patrol's rogue gallery fitting that weird tone within the comics.
A man of immense courage, Rahul Nemorajan is devoted to helping his friends, teammates, and generally those suffering from the hands of oppressors. As such he’s rarely one to back down from a fight. He is a terrific leader proven by his ability to captain a crew as large as that of the Nautilus, with him being known to be able to inspire those working for him. Also, though he is short-tempered, he rarely expresses his anger, not letting his emotions control him. Rahul is extremely determined in everything he does, striving to improve both his body and mind constantly. As a result, he regularly partakes in strenuous physical exercise, as well as spending his spare time reading literature.
Physical Appearance:
A tall, powerful man with a commanding presence, Rahul has a lean yet muscular figure. Atop his head is a mass of curled charcoal hair, reaching just above his shoulders. His chin is warmed by a rugged mess of a beard, with its colour mirroring the rest of his hair, save for small patches of grey. This gives himself the appearance of a man shaped by the sea, shown as well through his rough face and his scarred body. His eyes however tell a different story, reflecting not the life an old grouchy captain, instead holding in a sense of adventure and wisdom.
Affiliations:
The Indian Navy, Overwatch, The Nautilus
Brief History:
It was his parent’s efforts during the original Omnic Crisis that initially inspired Rahul to join the Indian Navy. Due to both of his parents being on active duty during his birth, he ended up spending the first few of his formative years on the water, which allowed him to develop a love for the sea. This love continued even when he returned to India, with him insisting on going out fishing in the family boat whenever he could. As such, he signed up with the Navy as soon as he could. Many years later, just after reaching the rank of Captain, his efforts reached the ears of Overwatch, and they were impressed.
It was on his very first day alongside the peacekeeping force that he met the gorilla that would become one of his oldest friends. With Winston having just finished reading Verne’s novel "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea", upon hearing Rahul’s name, he instantly pointed out their similarities, jokingly referring to the man as Captain Nemo. Intrigued, he too read the novel over the next few days and promptly became inspired, just like when he wished to join the Navy all those years ago. The nickname soon stuck, with it becoming his moniker once he became a field agent. Nemo and Winston grew close over the years, bonding over both their love for literature and their love for science. It was through this that they decided to begin work on a new mobile headquarters for Overwatch; inspired by ship owned by the original Captain Nemo, it would be a vast vessel with submarine capabilities. The project was huge, taking a couple of years before the construction itself even started. Unfortunately once the ship neared completion, things weren’t looking good for Overwatch. The group came under investigation from the UN, prompting the two to put work on hold until things cleared out.
Things never did, with Overwatch disbanding and the Petras Act deeming any Overwatch activity illegal, and liable to prosecution. Nevertheless, Rahul knew he could just give up. Calling in a series of old associates he had met during his time on the team, he resumed construction of the ship, determined to continue fighting the good fight. Upon completion, he hired a crew, amassing people from all around the globe. Christening the ship the Nautilus, his life began anew.
His new life was one of adventure and exploration, with Captain Nemo spending his time as captain of the Nautilus exploring the deepest depths of oceans, stopping illegal fishing vessels, as well as even assisting in the Second Omnic Crisis. His efforts against those damaging the oceans earn Nemo quite a reputation amongst the surface world, with many deeming him a hero, while others accuse him of breaking maritime law through his acts of sinking illegal vessels.
When the call came from his old friend, Nemo gladly answered it, deciding that now would be the perfect chance to test the full capabilities of his new enhanced diving suit.
Plasma Jets: Nemo activates his thrusters, launching himself forwards into the air a couple of metres. He stuns nearby enemies upon landing for 0.5 seconds. Jets had previously been used in order to navigate underwater. Hook, Line, Sinker: Nemo equips a chain to the next harpoon he fires. If the harpoon hits an enemy, it will pull that enemy back to Nemo, as well as temporarily stunning them for a brief period of time. Harpoon Gun (Primary Fire) Slow firing, but extremely powerful, Nemo can only fire a single harpoon before reloading. The harpoon has a serious knock-back, with it temporarily pinning enemies to terrain if they are close to it. Excavator Drill (Secondary Fire):Nemo's excavator drill activates, severely damaging any enemies directly in front of him. Pressures of a Captain (Ultimate): Nemo stomps his foot onto the ground, deploying a small magnetic-field that simulates deep sea pressure. The field is in the shape of a sphere centered around Nemo, which moves with him, lasting 8 seconds. Within the magnetic-field, movement speed is slowed drastically, with enemy heroes being unable to jump or generally use any movement abilities.
Strengths:
While one of his greatest strengths would probably be aquatic combat, Nemo is also great tactician and leader. He has various means of pinning down enemies, using both his various harpoons (either pinning opponents to walls or pulling them towards him), as well as his magnetic-field, which allows for him to more easily land hits on enemies, stop them from attacking, or merely scatter them.
Weaknesses:
Due to the bulky nature of the suit, his movement speed is quite slow, meaning that fast moving targets can easily evade him on attack him from the rear. As such, without the stunning capabilities of both his harpoon and magnetic-field, he wouldn't be able to easily hit or stop his enemies.
So far so good, right?

Wanting to continue to providing for his family, especially his daughter Cassie, Scott managed to get a job at a Wayne Enterprises branch as part of their ex-offenders employment scheme. Life gradually started to get better, that was until Cassie got sick, having been diagnosed as having a serious congenital heart condition. Desperate to help his daughter, Scott sought the aid of surgeon Dr. Erica Sondheim. However Scott soon discovered that she was mysteriously being held by Cross Technological Enterprises against her will.
Breaking into the home of Dr Henry Pym, the infamous Ant-Man, Scott stole the man's old Ant-Man suit, which he used in order to break into Cross Enterprises. Here he discovered that Dr. Sondheim was being held captive by the company's founder Darren Cross, who sought to use her to heal his own heart condition. During the struggle that unfolded, the villainous Darren Cross passed away after his heart gave way, allowing Scott to escape with Sondheim whom managed to save his daughter's life.
Scott was intent on returning the suit, however before he could Hank Pym informed Scott that he had watched Scott during his confrontation with Cross. Pym felt that Scott had what it took to take on the mantle of the Ant-Man full time, an offer Scott graciously agreed.
Having moved to New York, Scott fought as Ant-Man for around a year before he was approached by the Legendary Lex Luthor into joining his Justice League. Eager to make Cassie proud, he accepted.

Taskmaster - Due to having fought against the guy on more than one occasion, Scott sees the man as one of his arch-nemeses. Taskmaster would disagree.
How (if at all) does the New Frontier version of your character differ from the original?:
Scott doesn't really differ much from his comic iteration. Here however he worked briefly for Wayne Enterprises (I assumed that such a company would have ex-offender employment schemes or something). I'm basing the majority of how I play Scott on his current comic run, in that he's trying to care for his daughter, despite his ex-wife's protests, as well as the fact that I'd like to portray Scott as the "funny guy" i fell in love with.
After their mother’s death, Harper and Cullen Row were forced to live with their father, Marcus. He was a drunk, with him often leaving them home alone for days at a time. He had a tendency to beat his kids, with Harper constantly defending her young brother, forcing Marcus to hit her instead of him. Due to his constant drunk nature, Marcus often ended up breaking things around the house, such as the TV, microwave, or the lights. Because of this, Harper soon developed a knack for fixing things due to her constantly attempting to keep the family electronics functional.
In secret, Cullen told Harper that he was homosexual. The two agreed that due to their father’s homophobic nature that it was best to never tell him. This unfortunately didn’t go well, with Marcus discovering Cullen’s stash of pornographic images of men underneath the kid’s bed while searching for money to spend on booze.
He severely beat Cullen when he returned home from school, despite Harper’s multiple attempts to stop him. The next day, Harper filed for emancipation.
After receiving emancipation, Harper took Cullen and began to rent out a small apartment in the Narrows. She got a part time job at a local garage while she wasn’t at school in order to pay the rent. While the job was hard work, it helped to get them by, as well as helping her to hone her electrical engineering talents.
Returning home from work one evening, Harper found Cullen on the floor of their apartment, having been assaulted. His hair had been cut ragged, with the word "FAG" shaved into the back of his head. Instantly Harper attempted to console her brother, taking a pair of clippers and giving herself a matching haircut.
This caused a stir the next day at school, with the two later getting attacked on their way home from school. Luckily the two were rescued by none other than the Dark Knight himself. The man made an impression on the two Row children, who both came to idolise the man. Cullen showed his affection by getting a tattoo of the bat symbol. As for Harper, she decided to find out who he was.
Her research began at once, with Harper investigation anything that seemed remotely connected to the hero. One such lead she came upon was the Gotham security cameras. While looking online, Harper discovered that the Gotham City CCTV system had failed to retrieve a single picture of him, with the cameras apparently deactivating whenever he was in the area. Knowing that the Batman would not be able to access the cameras via remote, Harper grew interested in how he achieved this. After investigation the Gotham Security Grid, she came upon what appeared to be the Dark Knight’s improvements. Using the same technology, Harper found that she could use the CCTV system in order to track the Batman, with Harper getting his general location every time one of the camera’s the superhero approached deactivated. Realizing that the hero’s enemies could probably do the same, she set out to find Batman and warn him. The confrontation did not go well, with Batman commanding her to stop, outright rejecting Harper’s request to assist him. This didn’t stop Harper though, who was now extremely smug due to the fact that after the meeting she found that the CCTV system had been sorted.
Deciding that she didn’t need the Dark Knight’s permission to be a hero, Harper pulled together a costume using a variety of technology of her own design, as well as implementing some modified Wayne Enterprise equipment she had gotten her hands on. Bluebird was born and the Narrows had another hero looking over it.
Harper had watched the League battle against Doomsday on television with Cullen. While she hadn’t always looked up to the big man in blue, his death still saddened her, as well as helping her realize that the superhero business wasn’t one to be taken likely. Despite realizing that, his death also made Harper think that she could be doing more than just apprehending petty thugs.
Attributes
Electrical Engineering - While having no actual powers, Harper is very skilled at electrical engineering, something which has evolved into her creating a range of crime fighting gadgetry, including:
Electrical Disruptor Rifle - This can fire shots of electrical pulses that can have a variety of effects; such as stunning people, as well as potentially disabling weaponry and other pieces of electrical powered technology. This can only be fired a few times before running out of charge.
Gapling Gun - While not as complex as that of the likes of Batman, this homemade grapling gun does the job well.
Line Launcher - Similar to the Grapling Gun, this piece of kit is a small box which fires two grapling hooks in opposite directions, creating some sort of grapling rope tightrope which Harper can use to travel like a zip wire or simple hand from.
Explosive Pellets - Essentially small explosives which can be thrown and used like grenades, despite packing a significantly smaller punch.
Flashbang Pellets - Similar to the explosive pellets, these emit bright light and loud sound to completely blind and deafen enemies. The effect wears off in a few minutes.
Martial Arts – Harper certainly isn’t an expert combatant due to her never having any real training. She has learnt how to fight though from her time living in the Narrows. However, she has spent a large amount of time studying old martial arts videos online and practising these techniques on old mannequins in their apartment. Due to this Harper can out-fight just about your average group of thugs or criminals with her fighting skills alone, although Harper is much more capable of these feats when wielding her gadgetry.
Espionage – While maybe not as great as the Dark Knight himself, Harper is fairly adept at keeping herself to the shadows and remaining hidden.
Character Notes
Cullen Row – Harper’s young brother. The two have an extremely strong bond, with him being the only person who Harper has told about her late night activities. Due to his homosexuality, Cullen is often the victim of bullying at school, resulting in Harper regularly getting herself into fights with Cullen’s bullying classmates. Batman - The Dark Knight himself, Harper has only met the grizzled vigilante a small number of times although none were very civil. Despite her goal of wanting to work alongside him, Harper has decided that it's probably best to keep out of his way.
Marcus Row – Harper and Cullen’s criminal father. The man regularly finds himself in and out of Blackgate. Not the greatest father, nor is he the greatest criminal either. Professor Pyg - After hearing word of a mysterious man wearing a pig mask kidnapping young children around the Narrows,Harper decides that he's probably someone worth investigating.
Character Goals
Harper Row is one of my absolute favourite things to come out of the New52 and I really want to display that love by showing how much potential she really has. I also want to see her create her own rogue gallery, with her facing a number of Batman's lesser known adversaries. More importantly, I would like to see her interact with Batman, as well as the rest of the Bat-family, as obviously the Dark Knight isn't a fan of vigilantes in his city.

"Screw the family business. I want to be one of those guys."
Name: Theodore "Ted" Stephen Kord
Alias: Blue Beetle
Origin: Theodore “Ted” Stephen Kord grew up to a wealthy family in Chicago, with his father the CEO of Kord Omniversal Research and Development. He was pressed quite hard through his childhood, with the prospect of him following his father’s footsteps initially being what strove Ted for greatness. Ted excelled at school, both academically and athletically. It would seem that once he put his mind to something, Ted wouldn’t be satisfied until he had mastered it, with an example of this being him taking on gymnastics at an early age. Another thing to note was that he also took an interest in computer science. He spent the majority of one of his summer breaks shut off in his room staring at his computer screen, having giving himself the challenge of hacking into the US Defence Network. It was an easy task but a stupid one. Within the hour Special Forces were upon their house, bursting in during the dead of night, their golden goggles shining like that of an insect’s eyes. After all the interrogations and threats, Ted just didn’t seem afraid of the world anymore.
The threats didn’t hinder the boy however and with his continuous high grades and academic achievements, Ted was soon offered a scholarship to MIT at the age of 15. Here he gained degrees in many fields including Physics, Theoretical mathematics and Robotics. By this point he had gone off the idea of joining his father’s business, believing it to be rather dull and boring. He attempted to get a doctorate in his fields, although that too wasn’t to his liking. Instead he just simply decided to travel the world, with him journeying through Europe and eventually most of Asia. This was when he found it. The Scarab. He had watched it fall down from the sky one night while volunteering in a small village in China. Amazed at the sight of the meteorite, Ted had gone to investigate, finding nothing but a small blue piece of metal at the crash site. Realizing instantly that the beetle shaped thing was alien in nature, he phoned his father at once, taking the next flight home at his request.
Returning to Kord Omniversal, Ted and his father Dan set to work on trying to discover what it actually was that he had discovered. After weeks of work, they seemingly came no closer, until finally the thing actually did something. The scarab device began to emit what appeared to be an infinite source of energy. This got the attention of one of the top scientists working at the company, Ted’s uncle Jarvis. Seeking to use the scarab in order to exploit its energy creation abilities, he was promptly fired by Dan. Angry at Dan due to his apparent ignorance, Jarvis murdered him, with him taking the scarab and fleeing.
Ted mourned for many weeks, completely unaware of what had been the cause of his father’s death. This was until he got wind of his brother Jarvis, who was apparently offering an unlimited supply of renewable energy to the largest bidder. Realizing what he had done, Ted vowed that he would get justice for Jarvis’s actions. After being inspired by a news report of some crazy masked superhero in Gotham City, Ted, who was quickly appointed CEO of the company, paid a visit to Kord Omniversal’s R&D department. Here he fashioned a makeshift costume using a Kevlar bodysuit, with him collecting numerous gadgets and weapons, as well as donning a pair of bright yellow goggled, with Ted being inspired by the government agents who had raided his house all those years ago.
It didn’t take long for Ted to track down his uncle. The man had purchased a luxury beach house down in Miami with what he had earned already, as well as hiring a hefty security force. Ted was ready for them though, using a strobe light gun to blind them before they could attack, with him then using his acrobatic and martial art skills he had learnt over the years to quickly take them down. After tricking Jarvis and secretly recording him confessing how he had murdered Dan, Ted apprehended the villain and took back what was stolen from him. However having the Scarab back didn’t fill the hole in his heart.
Deciding that he would become a man that his father would be proud of, Ted decided to stay in the superhero business, with him manufacturing a proper costume and turning the penthouse if the Kord Omniversal building into his secret base of operations. He donned the name “The Blue Beetle”, taking inspiration from the mysterious alien scarab that had changed his life.
Attributes:
Genius Level Intellect – Ted Kord has a genius level intellect with an IQ of 192. He has degrees in Physics, Theoretical mathematics and Robotics. Kord is also an excellent inventor, having manufactured a large amount of the equipment he now works with.
Acrobatics – Kord was an accomplished acrobat, having been training from a young age.
Espionage – While maybe not as great as the Dark Knight himself, Ted is fairly adept at keeping himself to shadows and remaining hidden.
Martial Arts – During his brief time travelling around the world, Ted has studied with several martial arts masters. While no expert he can out-fight just about your average group of thugs or criminals with his fighting skills alone.
Equipment:
The Blue Beetle costume is made up of a simple Nomex body suit, along with a utility belt and utility pouches on his gloves. The goggles, which are again inspired by the government agents who barged into his house years ago, contain sight-enhancing lenses.
The Blue Beetle’s primary weapon, the BB Gun is able to emit a blinding flash of light or a blast of compressed air capable of knocking down several grown men. The gun is only able to be operated by Ted, with it becoming inactive without contact with the circuitry within his costume's gloves.
Including suction pads, smoke pellets, grappling hooks, etc.
Made out of a metallic alloy of titanium and steel panels, The Bug is the Blue Beetle’s primary source of transportation, a mechanised craft which is able to navigate both the sky and underwater. It is powered used solar energy, with the ship also having a thick reinforced armour and automatic reflector shields for protection. Thanks to the antigravity units, the Bug is extremely quiet during flight and is also able to fly at a top speed of 800mph. The Bug also contains a small portable crime lab which includes a computer, communications centre, television, stereo and a closet with spare uniforms and several changes of civilian clothes.
Essentially a more combat themed version of the previous design, The Bug Mk-V is sleeker and unlike the previous design, actually has weapons. These weapons are in the form of thermal energy blasts, that can be fired from the ship’s robotic claw arms which can also be used to grasp, hold and even throw objects. Unlike the previous design, there is only one seat in the ship’s cockpit, with the Bug MK-IV lacking a crime lab, etc. The Bug MK-V can also fly at a speed of 1200mph.
Stomping Grounds:
The third most populous city in the United States, Chicago has over 2.7 million residents. Near a portage between the Great Lakes and the Mississippi River watershed, the city is an international hub for finance, commerce, industry, technology, telecommunications, and transportation, with O'Hare International Airport being the busiest airport in the world. It is also the home to the headquarters of Kord Omniversal.
The Kord Omniversal building is one of the tallest highrises in Chicago, as well as being one of the City's central hubs of technology, communication and industry. While many of the floors are made up of laboratories, the penthouse is home to the company's CEO Ted Kord, with it acting as his base of operations. The basement holds the more dangerous products of Kord Omniversal’s R&D department.
Ted's penthouse takes up the entire top floor of the Kord Omniversal building, other than a thin strip just above the sign which is home to a small outside pool. Inside the penthouse is split in half. The left side, containing the elevator appears much nicer and more homely, sporting a vast array of expensive furniture, a small cocktail bar and a small doorway leading off to a bedroom. The other side of the penthouse act as Ted's base of operations as the Blue Beetle. There is a small crimelab, training area, a work station, and more importantly Ted's own super-computer. Each far corner of the lair is home to Blue Beetle's ships; The Bugs. The walls, floor, and ceiling of this section of the penthouse are white in colour, lit by bright blue neon lights.
People of Note:
Michael Carter is Ted's closest friend, with the two having an extremely close bond. The two cross paths for the first time when Booster seeks him out after his arrival in the present. There friendship is one of joy and laughter, with the two caring very much for each other.
Booster Gold's robotic companion from the future, Ted receives much amusement in watching both Booster and Skeets argue.
Ted's personal assistant, Tracy is fully aware of his identity as the Blue Beetle, often mocking him for it in a sarcastic manner. Despite everything though, she is one Ted's greatest friends (although she won't admit it) and often operates on the Beetle Computer while he is out on the field. Ted often laughs at Booster's obvious attempts at wooing her, despite her lack of interest.
Ted's pet dog. While actually named Mikey, he often calls him Blue Beagle, to Tracy's annoyance.
Ted's father, Dan was the CEO of Kord Omniversal before being murdered by his brother Jarvis.
Ted's mother, Maureen moved to live in New York after her husband's murder, retaining regular contact with her son.
Ted's uncle and the former lead scientist at Kord Omniversal. After the discovery, Jarvis went power crazy after the discovery that it seemed to be an energy source. Due to being fired by Dan for trying to exploit it, he murdered and stole the scarab. He was later apprehended by the Blue Beetle and arrested.
The current head scientist of the company, having taken over when Jarvis was fired, Jeremiah worked for the company with Thomas Kord and later with Ted. He is a dear friend of the Kord family
Leader of the group of manic thugs named The Madmen, Fleeter was a crook who took on a small job at Georgetown University to steal drugs He was involved in an accident that gave him the power to mentally control anyone he touched. He used this power to create an army of Madmen, having gone slightly insane himself to to the accident.
Run by Farley Fleeter, the Madmen are a group of mentally controlled thugs who don wigs, face paint, and multicolored costumes and started robbing banks. As well as thing, they regularly act as goons for hire. Over the past few years, they are becoming an increasingly pain in the ass for Ted.
Character Goals: I'm hoping to try and bring some more life to regularly forgotten character and remind people that Ted is actually smarter than the Dark Knight himself. As for story goals i plan for Ted to:
Struggle with juggling both running Kord Omniversal and acting as the Blue Beetle,
Maybe eventually join the Justice League, or merely attempt to.
Uncover Checkmate as he did in Countdown to Infinite Crisis although hopefully he'll make it out alive this time.
Sample Post: "Sir, what the hell is that?"
Tracy's voice broke the hum of machinery and the regular bursts of noice from the blow torch Ted had been using. Turning, he gave the smartly dressed woman a smile, before pulling his goggles from his eyes and hoping down from where he had been working.
“That, my dear Tracy is my latest creation!” Ted exclaimed loudly, ignoring the obvious sound of annoyance emitted by her at the ”my dear Tracy” comment. “The Bug MK-5. She’s sleeker and much faster in fact too, as she can…”
“Sir…”
“… go up to twelve hundred miles per hour!”
“Sir.”
“Oh and you should see the circuitry on this baby!”
“Ted.”
“I’ve made it all much simpler! We shouldn’t be having the issue we had before with the smell. Granted that was my fault but now…”
“Ted?!” Tracy had to shout for Ted to hear her over his constant rumbling. Truth be told, this was a regular occurrence and was obviously something that led to Tracy wishing to throttle her boss more and more on a daily basis. Oblivious to this house, Ted just stared at her, a look of pure confused across his face. Huffing in annoyance, Tracy continued.
“I didn’t mean that heap of junk! You think I actually care about most of the shit you make in here?” Ignoring the babbling that followed from the Kord Omniversal CEO, Tracy pointed to the corner of the room. “When the hell did you get a dog?”
Quickly recovering from his assistants hurtful words and making a mental note to send an angry worded letter to her in the future, Ted let his signature smile run across his face once more, laughing slightly as she pointed to the new member of his family. Truth be told he had gotten lonely after having been bed ridden for the past week. This had been after breaking his leg in the field while giving chase to a group named the Madmen across the rooftops of Chicago. It had been quite embarrassing. Tracy had laughed to his face. This had led him to adopting the Labrador that currently lay before them in his basket.
“His name’s Blue Beagle.” Ted stated happily, having finished explaining the story to her.
“He’s a Labrador.” She stated firmly. “Not a beagle.”
“I know but Blue Labrador just sounded stupid!”
“Like The Blue Beetle then?” She smirked.
Before Ted could reply with what was probably going to be an even wittier remark, the neon blue lights of the penthouse turned to a violent red, with the monitor of the Beetle Computer flashing into life. Ignoring the barks of the Blue Beagle, Ted burst forward, eyes reading the information as soon as it appeared on the monitor.
“Looks like there’s a fire down town.” He stated, noting down the address. Pressing a button on the console, a short whiz from the back of the room sounded as the roof hatch of the Bug slid open.
“You realize that the fire brigade could probably handle it?” Tracy asked, slumping down into the chair in front of monitor.
“Now where would be the fun in that?”
If I'm a Sittin', I'm a Knittin'
NAME:
-Rohan Nott
ALIAS:
-The Knitter
ABILITIES/SKILLS/EQUIPMENT:
Knitting – From stitches to wales, Rohan has mastered the art of knitting. Having learnt the skill at an early age, Rohan can practically knit anything he can think of, given he has enough yarn at hand. Due to his talent at this, he can knit fairly quickly, with a 60” scarf taking around 30-60 seconds to manufacture.
Enchanted Knitting Needles – Inherited from his grandmother, Rohan has found that he is able to mysteriously control anything that he has knitted using these knitting needles, such as his small knitted animal creations. These knitting needles seem to allow him to knit much faster too, almost as if they have a mind of their own. Some of his knitted creations using these needles involve:
Rohan mostly uses the needles to create yarn puppets/animals, which he fondly refers to as Knittens. From time to time, he gives them knitting needles for teeth and/or claws.
Rohan also uses the needles to knit yarn into numerous other creations, such as lassos for combat, or makeshift ladders, etc.
Knitting Needles – Razor sharp, Rohan makes use of a collection of metallic knitting needles for both knitting and for close quartered combat.
Yarn - Rohan carries around a small bag full of yarn of all different colours, variety and brands.
LIMITATIONS AND WEAKNESSES:
- Rohan has no superhuman abilities and is essentially a normal human being. While his current costume is fitted with a Nomex body-piece, his arms and head remain unprotected so he is vulnerable from bullets, knives, and the like. He is only just being to work out on a regular basis so isn’t relatively fit at this moment in time, although he’s getting better. One considerable weakness is that while the enchanted yarn he makes use of won’t snap under intense pressure, it is extremely vulnerable to fire.

”What’s wrong, Ro?”
Rohan looked up at his Grammy as she spoke. He had been sat at the kitchen table ever since he had returned home from school. Evident by the way he had been gazing glumly out at the rain outside through the kitchen, as well as the fact that he had been sat in front of a bowl of uneaten cereal for the past half an hour, he was upset.
“I… I took some of my hats in for show and tell.” Rohan replied softly, wiping his face clean of tears. That was when the boy reached down from where he was sat, and pulled a plastic carrier bag onto the table. The bag and its contents were dripping with water, with the brightly coloured hats that Rohan had spent hours knitting now resembling screwed up rags.
“They laughed at me.” Rohan continued, fixing his eyes once more on the rain outside. “They called me gay.”
The sound of the chair screeching against the floor echoed around the dimly lit kitchen as Grammy pulled out the chair to Rohan’s left. Sitting down she let out a long sigh, before placing a beautifully carved wooden box on the table in front of her. At this point, Rohan had returned his attention to his Grammy, with him now staring intently at the wooden box, questionably.
“Rohan, listen love.” Grammy began, her soothing voice seemingly brightening the room as it left her mouth. “Don’t worry about being different. They’re probably just jealous of your talent. Your knitting is beautiful, deary!”
Rohan seemed to blush at the comment, giving his Grammy a warm smile.
“What’s in the box?” He asked, inquisitively.
Grammy chuckled to herself slightly at the question, before reaching down towards the box.
“Something that I was given when I was just around the same age as you!” She explained, opening the lid. “Something that is going to make your art even more beautiful than ever before.
To Rohan’s surprise, the box was relatively empty, save for a pair of elegantly widdled knitting needles.
NOTES:
He’s one of those heroes who tries to constantly make puns related to their personal gimmick, i.e. knitting puns. He also regularly pays visits to homeless shelters, where he donates numerous pieces of knitwear to those who need it.
Real Name: Joseph Wilson Alias: Jericho Mentor/Sponsor: Batman Age: 16 Appearance:
Costume:
Powers: Possession: After making eye contact with a person, Jericho is able to take possession of their body, with his own losing its physical existence and entering the new body. He then able to control this new host's actions, including their superhuman abilities if they have any. However he may struggle with this, as Jericho may not know how to control these powers. The stronger the host, the harder it is for Jericho to control them, with the likes of Superman being too strong for the boy to possess. Skills:
Sign Language: Jericho communicates with sign language when not possessing someone or when his victim is conscious.
Musician: Jericho is adept at playing the guitar, violin and piano.
Brief Bio: From a very early age, Joseph a very talented musician, with many believing him to become the next big sensation. Before he was 10, he had already taken part in several talent competitions around the county, accumulating a collection of trophies. What no one knew however, was that Joseph was actually the illegitimate son of the legendary mercenary, Deathstroke. Throughout the boy's childhood, Deathstroke paid him regular visits, watching from afar to see if him and his mother were okay. This of course wasn't that special, as Deathstroke had in fact fathered a number of children who also received such visits on occasion.
When Joseph was twelve, a terrorist named the Jackal who often fought against Deathstroke discovered Joseph's identity. He took the boy hostage in order to extract information from Deathstroke. Luckily Deathstroke managed to rescue his son, but not before one of Jackal's men cut his throat. As a result, Joseph was rendered mute.
Regretting his actions, Deathstroke cut all ties with his children, but not before relocating them and the rest of their families. It was during this time that Joseph discovered his meta-human powers, with him accidentally taking possession of his teacher during school. After the incident managed to correct itself, Joseph was taking in by Star Labs, who sought to find the source of his abilities. However he was soon broken out by Deathstroke, who had heard of the boy on the news and also wished to discover how the boy had gotten his abilities, believing him to have possibly inherited them from himself.
While experimenting on the child, the facility in which he had been working in was attacked by the Justice League, who had been contacted by Star Labs. They managed to rescue Joseph, although Deathstroke managed to escape. Over the next few weeks, Joseph was put under the protection of Batman, who believed that placing him at a facility such as Star Labs would be danger. Discovering the boy's potential, the caped crusader decided it would be best to place the boy on the Young Justice program. Notes: Due to his incident with The Jackel, he is mute.
Name: Dominic Miller Alias: Kid Rogue, formerly Kid Kold Age: 18 Sponsor: The Flash Personality: Rude, opinionised, determined
Powers: A form of technopathy, Dominic has the superhuman ability to innately understand any mechanical device he comes into contact with. This enables him to know how to manufacture a whole range of devices, as long as he has the available materials at hand. As well as this, Dominic has been trained in some combat during both his time with both the Rogues and the Flash. While no expert, Dominic has also had some training in the use of the tools utilized by the Rogues, such as Pied Piper's sonic technology and Mirror Master’s mirrors.
Weaknesses: Aside from the typical weaknesses that come with being a typical human being, Dominic has a severe nut allergy.
Equipment:
Sonic Gauntlets – Based on the technology built into the Pied Piper's hypnotic flute, Kid Rogue has equiped his gauntlet to perform similar results, with them able to emit a hypnotic signal which suggests that people evacuate the area which they are currently located. This is mostly used for crowd control, or to disperse mutiple entities that he may have to go up against. The gauntlets can also emit sonic vibrations which could shatter glass at high frequencies.
Mirror Gauntlets – Kid Rogue’s gauntlets also make use of two mirrors, which contain small doorways to Mirror Master’s mirror dimension. While too small to travel through, Dominic uses this to store and retrieve a variety of weapons, for quick access in the field.
He also makes use of various explosive devices similar to that used by the Trickster which he has stored in his gauntlet mirrors.
Ear plugs, due to hypnotic gauntlet related reasons.
Appearance:
BRIEF Bio: After witnessing The Flash fail to save the life of his mother during a fire, Dominic’s hatred for the scarlet speedster started. Instead of idolising the heroes like the rest of the kids in his new home, the orphanage, Dominic set his eyes on a new group of idols; the Rogues. He admired their rules and efficiency, with the boy keen to follow in their footsteps. In his early teens he made a small record for himself, mostly due to petty theft and shoplifting. Although he followed the rules of the Rogues, not harming anyone. Discovering that he had meta-human abilities, Dominic decided that he could finally be of use to his heroes, and was determined to join their ranks. He tracked the team’s whereabouts to their regular bar but was unfortunately rejected by ol’ Captain Cold himself, who told the kid to “Fuck right off”. That didn’t stop him though, as Dominic managed to get an imprint of how to make the villain's weapon just by giving it a simple touch.
Within a few days, he had completed recreating the gun, and after suiting up in a homemade costume, he took to the streets. Finding the Rogues outside the Central City National Bank, Dominic managed to come to the aid of Captain Cold, by getting a hit on the Flash. After joining the group’s escape, they deemed themselves impressed and after learning of his abilities they decided to keep Dominic along. While mostly staying behind in their safe house while the team went on heists, he trained in the use of their gear, as well as adding advancements to it. After a while, he joined the team for his first real heist, under the guise of Kid Rogue, mirroring the alias of the Flash’s old partner, Kid Flash. The mission was successful although during his second outing, he was apprehended by the Flash.
Despite first resisting and fighting back due to him believing that his team would come save him, he realized that the Rogues weren’t coming and that he had been abandoned. Reluctantly, he decided to put his feelings against the Flash aside and let the hero help him. He was relocated to a new foster family and was instructed to give up his previous costumed activities. That didn’t stop him though, as Kid Rogue continued to hit the streets at night, although this time as a hero.
Sample post: “I thought I told you to give up with this, kid?”
Despite currently focussing on not being taken out by the group of thugs surrounding him, the sound of that distinctive voice caught his attention. Groaning, Kid Rogue lowered his raised sonic gauntlets, his eyes watching his current predicament disappear in a blur. Or for use of a better word, in a flash. In front of him, the scarlet speedster darted about, quickly pinning the hooded goons against the parking lot wall, locking their hands together behind their backs using some kind of futuristic handcuffs.
While many would have loved to witness such a sight, the teenage vigilante was extremely pissed off. Every time! Every single time he ventured out at night to fight the good fight, this guy always turned up and sent him packing.
“I take it you have my place bugged or somethin’, old man?” Dominic questioned as he approached the superhero, adjusting the circuitry on his gauntlets as he did so.
The Flash simply gave the boy his signature smile and let out a short laugh. “You’re not going to stop doing this are you?” He spoke, ignoring the question. The grumpy look on Dominic gave him his answer instantly. “Well if I can’t stop you, then at least I can make sure you go about this the right way! It’s time you and I had a little chat.”
Notes: Due to Captain Cold choosing not to come rescue Dominic from the Flash, Dominic has stopped idolising the villain so decided to no longer use a cold gun out in the field, relying on his sonic gauntlets and technomancy instead!

In ancient times, Zeus, king of the Olympian gods, bore a child with Alcmena. His name was Hercules. The child's Godly heritage granted him superhuman strength, something he demonstrated before he was even one year old by strangling two snakes whom the Goddess Hera had sent after him. He completed many labors during his lifetime, until his death at the hands of the centaur Nessus. Upon his death he was resurrected by Zeus, who brought him to Olympus where he settled into his true place as a God of Olympus.
Thousands of years later, Hercules found himself banished from Olympus. Seeking direction, he turned towards Athena, who told him of a young man of great importance.
That "man", was Amadeus Cho.
Amadeus was born to Philip and Helen Cho, two immigrants who had moved to America from South Korea. As a result of their shared love for historical names, Amadeus was named after the famous composer Mozart, while his sister Madame Curie Cho, Maddy for short, was named after the physicist Marie Curie. The Cho's raised their children in the small town of Tucson, Arizona, where Amadeus discovered from an early age that he was different from his peers at school. During kindergarten he was already reading at a fifth grade level, and by the time he was starting high school, Amadeus was taking theoretical physics college courses in his spare time. Needless to say, he was a genius.
This statement was proved on his 15th birthday when he decided to enter an online competition for young geniuses, run by a soap corporation named Excello. Winning the $5000 first prize was child's play for Amadeus, with Amadeus Cho being dubbed the Mastermind Excello, as well as earning the title of the 7th smartest person on the planet. Little did he know that winning would have dramatic ramifications on the rest of his life. He returned home just in time to see his house explode, killing his family. Or so he thought.
After being taken in by S.H.I.E.L.D, Amadeus discovered that while his parents could be accounted for, the remains of his younger sister, Maddy, had not been found. Realizing that she was still alive out there somewhere, as well as discovering that S.H.I.E.L.D. was planning on using his mind as a tool for coordinating all of their militaristic plans, Amadeus escaped custody. The teenager went on the run, adopting a coyote pup along the way that he later named Kirby, short for Kerberos.
It was during this time that he came upon Hercules, who ended up defending him from a group of AIM Agents, after the organisation had heard that S.H.I.E.L.D. was after him. Hercules became the boy's partner and guardian, while the two traveled and tried to find Maddy.
Their first adventure started after the two heroes came across a hunting party of Amazons. The group had traveled all the way from the island of Themyscira, after their home was attacked by a fearsome and unruly beast. The two agreed to help in their hunt of the beast, although soon it came to light that the leader of the party, Artume, was actually after an object called the Omphalos, with the beast attack being orchestrated by her so that she could get permission to leave the island. She aimed to use it to become the world's dominant force, bringing it to the new Axis Mundi, Washington, D.C. Thankfully with the help of Artune's former second-in-command, Delphyne Gorgon, they managed to stop her plight for power. During their time together, both Amadeus and Delphyne developed a mutual attraction for one another, ending their encounter with a kiss before Delphyne was forced to return to Themyscira with the rest of the Amazons.
Afterwards, Hercules and Amadeus, with pup in tow, continued on with their search, renting out an RV and travelling across the United States looking for clues relating to Maddy's location.

Kerberos: Kerby for short. Kerberos is a young coyote pup that Amadeus picked up off of the side of the road after its mother had been hit and killed by a car.
Agent Sexton: The mysterious FBI Agent who contacted Amadeus directly before he had been picked up by S.H.I.E.L.D.
Wonder Woman:
Delphyne Gorgon: A young descendant of the original Gorgon sisters who were cursed by Athena, Delphyne is a member of the Amazons of Themyscira. A deadly warrior, she hopes to someday follow in the footsteps of her idol, Wonder Woman.

Vali Halfling: The demi-god son of the Asgardian Loki, Vali and Amadeus have a bitter rivalry.
Pythagoras Dupree: The mysterious man rumoured to have been behind the Excello competition, as well as the death of Amadeus' parents.

Born in Cresskill, New Jersey, Janet Van Dyne had a very privileged childhood due to her family’s wealth. She grew up a socialite, spending her youth being shone off by her parents at fancy galas and parties. Janet rather enjoyed the spotlight, soon turning into a charismatic and friendly young woman. Her life wasn’t all fun though, as during her childhood her mother tragically passed away, leaving her in the care of her father, Vernon Van Dyne. Being a scientist and spending most of his time working, Vernon struggled to connect with his daughter. As such, he eventually decided to enrol her in a prestigious boarding school, which would give her an opportunity to bond with people her own age, as well as receive a tremendous education. Janet was enraged at first because of this, however in time she calmed herself, making friends at her new school, as well as coming to understand her father’s reasoning for his actions; she was too much like her mother.
When the time came to deciding on colleges, Janet set her sights on Greyburn College in New York City. This was in an attempt to spend more time with her father, who was a key researcher and funder of the College’s Research and Development Labs. Glad to be reunited, the two began getting dinner with each other once every week, in an attempt to maintain and strengthen their previously rough relationship.
It was at one of these dinners that Janet was introduced to the handsome young Dr. Hank Pym, one of her father’s colleagues. Hank was a scientific genius, excelling in a wide range of subjects such as biochemistry, physics, engineering, robotics, as well as AI, with him receiving his Doctorate well before any of his peers. Hank and Janet hit it off quite quickly, with the two beginning a romantic relationship with each other. On top of this, Janet’s schoolwork was going well, with her deciding to major in fashion design, something she was extremely talented at.
However disaster struck when during an experiment with Hank’s creation; the Pym Particle, a being known as Pilai was brought into their dimension from the Microverse. During the conflict at the lab, Pilai murdered Vernon.
A devastated Janet turned to Hank for help in avenging her father’s death, who in turn revealed himself to be the superhero Ant-Man, who used his Pym-Particles and cybernetic ant-controlling helmet to fight crime. Before he could go hunting for Pilai, Janet begged him to let her help. Reluctantly, Hank agreed to temporarily infuse Janet with his Pym Particles, allowing her to shift in size, as well as implanting her with a set of Bio-Synthetic Wings that he had been recently working on. Quickly designing a costume that mirrored that of Ant-Man’s, Janet became the Wasp!
Tracing Pilai’s energy signature, the two costumed heroes managed to easily track down the creature’s location. However dispite their combined abilities, they were no match for Pilai. That was until they discovered that Pilai was actually made up of formic acid, after he began to secrete some after an attack. As such, Hank hit him with a formula of Ant-Formic acid which dissolved him instantly.
Returning back to his lab, Hank planned to drain the Pym Particles back out of Janet’s body, like they had agreed prior. However, Janet refused, with her having thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, loving the rush that came with the heroics. As such, they agreed to become crime fighting partners, with Hank further improving her arsenal by editing her biology so that she could emit blasts of bio-energy from her hands, which she dubbed her wasp stingers.
At first they attempted to simply handle petty street crime, stopping muggings and robberies out of sight in their small size. That was until they encountered their first actual super powered opponent; a mutant by the name of David Cannon caught Hank and Janet’s attention after performing a series of jewel heists. The two intervened although neither them, or Hank’s army of ants, were a match for the villain’s speed, with him overpowering them easily before escaping. What more, was that the attack had also caused a large amount of property damage, severely tarnishing the two heroes’ media image. Fortunately their second encounter ended differently, with Janet regrowing to her regular size, before blasting him with a full-sized wasp sting. The blast, more powerful while she was at regular size, knocked him unconscious instantly. The conflict was fortunately captured on camera, thus reigniting their heroic image in the eyes of the public.
Shortly after finding themselves plastered all over the news, the two were approached by an organization by the name of S.H.I.E.L.D. Given their superhuman abilities, the organization had been keeping a close eye on the couple for some time. They offered the two places amongst their ranks, although in the end the two of them decline, although agreed to help them in the future if the situation required it.
Over the years they faced more and more threats, with the two building up a rogue gallery of sorts. One such rogue was Alexander Gentry, also known as the Porcupine. There was also Liso Trago, a man capable of controlling both animals and people using his music.
It was during this time that the two were married, with the husband and wife superhero team being as happy as ever. Or so Janet thought. What she wasn’t aware of at the time, was that as a result of Hank’s constant exposure to early forms of his Pym Particle, his mental state was starting to waver, with the particles impacting greatly on the Doctor’s bi-polar disorder. He regularly became enrage at every defeat, shouting at Janet behind closed doors back at their lab, and even occasionally in public out in the field. This behaviour grew worse however when their media attention began to waver, with news stations such as the Daily Bugle preferring to focus on other New York Superheroes, such as the infamous Spider-Man.
During one particular nervous breakdown, Hank decided that if he could build a robot to attack Manhattan, he could defeat it and be a hero in the eyes of the world. Janet was furious when she discovered her husband’s plans, and tried to intervene, only for Hank to strike her across the face. Before Janet could stop him, he unleashed his creation, only to find himself overpowered by the robot. Luckily Wasp managed to recover, with Janet saving the day by hitting the weak spot in its armour that Hank had purposefully created for him to hit.
Despite knowing that Hank’s actions were a result of his mental illnesses and wanting to help him overcome them, Janet felt like she couldn’t deal with the abuse any longer, and as such, decided to begin divorce proceedings. At the same time, she contacted S.H.I.E.L.D, and after a private word with its director, Nicholas Fury, convinced them to offer Hank a job as one of their lead scientists. In truth, the job other was a way of Janet giving Hank the care he needed, as well as making sure that someone was keeping an eye on him.
While Hank retired from super heroics due to his new job, Janet continued her life as the Wasp, now working alone. During this time, she faced David Cannon once more, who had now taken up the alias Whirlwind, as well as sporting a green armoured costume for defence against her stingers.
On top of this, she began to focus once more on her career as a fashion designer, with Janet realizing that her time studying fashion design was one of the best periods of her life. After finding finishing her degree, she formed a start-up company which she called Yellowjacket. Due to her expertise in both business and fashion design, as well as her popularity as the superheroine known as the Wasp, Yellowjacket soon became one of the most relevant fashion & design firms in New York City.
Once her life was finally starting to go more smoothly, another disaster struck, as a giant purple being landed in Kansas, threatening to destroy the planet. Working alongside with S.H.I.E.L.D, as well as many of the Earth’s mightiest heroes, Wasp helped lead the charge against the being which they dubbed Galactus. Following Galactus’s attacked, Wasp decided that it would be wise to form a team to contend with any similar threats in the future. As such, the Avengers were formed, with the Wasp acting as their leader, with S.H.I.E.L.D. monitoring the team behind closed doors.

Size Reduction: Due to long-term exposure to Pym Particles, Janet is able to manipulate her size, reducing herself to roughly 1/2 inch in height. Due to her smaller size, her strength level increases as a result of her body's mass being compacted.
Bio-Synthetic Wings: When she reduces herself in size, Janet grows a pair of yellow insectoid wings which gives her the ability of flight, at speeds of up to 40mph.
Bio-Eletric Energy Stings: As a result of alterations from her ex-husband, Janet is able to harness her body's bio-energy, releasing it in the form of blasts of energy, dubbed as her Wasp Stingers. These stingers pack quite a punch, growing more powerful when she's in her regular size.
Fashion Design: Janet is an extremely talented fashion designer, to the extent that she even runs her own fashion company. As a result, she wore a different costume for every mission during her early days as the Wasp.

Stephanie Rogers AKA Captain America: A fellow member of the Avengers, Janet often seeks tactical advice from Stephanie due to her experience back during WWII.
Tony Stark AKA Iron Man: Despite Janet believing him to be nothing more than an arrogant playboy, his assistance during the Galactus incident warranted in her inviting him to join the Avengers. The fact that he declined merely increased the negative feelings Janet had for the guy.

Reed Richards AKA Mr Fantastic:
David Cannon AKA Whirlwind: A mutant, Cannon is able to rotate the lower half of his body at superhuman speed, resulting in him being virtually untouchable, with anything coming near being repelled by the centrifugal force if they try to interrupt his motion. After being defeating by the Wasp, he swore vengeance against her, declaring the super heroine as his nemesis. Since then, the two have fought on many occasions.
Alexander Gentry AKA Porcupine: A former military weapon’s designer who decided to use his latest creation, an armoured porcupine costume to rob banks.

Quentin's outing as a mutant turned out to be a very dramatic affair. It began with a series of violent migraines, with him at one point breaking down in class due to all the voices speaking in his head. Soon the thoughts became overwhelming. Quire couldn’t concentrate at all. During lunch one day at school, they all became too much for him to handle. He called for them to stop. They did. However so did everyone within the school district. Horrified to see that nobody was moving, Quentin curled up in the cafeteria in tears.
That was when he met Wonder Man. The superhero had been sent by S.H.I.E.L.D. to investigate the situation at hand. Upon discovering Quentin, Wonder Man began to comfort the young teenager, revealing that his name was in fact Simon Williams. The hero helped calm Quentin down, enabling him to reverse the mental paralysation of everyone. After taking the boy to a S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier, through a series of tests it was discovered that Quentin was actually a mutant and that the voices were in fact the thoughts of everyone around him, due to him having the ability of telepathy. After being questioned by S.H.I.E.L.D about the incident, the organization offered to contact Professor Charles Xavier for a place at his Institute. He was practically kicked out the house by his parents due to him being a mutant so therefore had no other choice but to enroll.
While his time at Xavier’s school wasn’t terrible, Quentin struggled to make any decent friends, falling in with the likes of Glob Herman. Due to this friendship, he began to get picked on by the other students, leading him to have more of an angry and snarky nature. This escalated on his 15th birthday where he received a phone call from his “Parents” who informed him that he was adopted. This through Quentin over the edge, with him developing a drug problem as well as making him more violent. Due to this, he constantly questioned Xavier’s views on mutant and human relations, with him even going so far as to venture into town with his two friends to violently beat a gang of human who had insulted/bullied him previously whenever he had ventured off campus. Xavier knew instantly when they returned, prompting an argument between the two, with Quentin knocking Xavier unconscious and declaring a riot at the school.
The riot was quickly subdued but not before the death of a fellow student. Due to his actions, Quentin was taken into SHIELD custody where he spent months locked away in the Raft. That was until Quentin manged to make his escape during a mass breakout.
Deciding to celebrate his new freedom, Quentin decided to infiltrate an international arms conference in Switzerland, where he telepathically forced a number of world leaders to reveal their deepest, darkest secrets on camera. Before any more damage could be caused however, he found himself facing the very hero who had helped him all those years ago; Wonder Man. Despite not having seen Simon Williams in such a long time, Quentin took kindly to seeing a friendly face. While he initially fought back against the hero, Quentin eventually conceded, falling to the floor in tears.
Feeling that placing Quentin back behind bars would only make his sociopathic tendencies worse, Wonder Man decided to strike a deal with S.H.I.E.L.D. As such, Quentin was released into Wonder Man's custody, with Simon hoping that in taking the boy under his wings, he'd have a chance to try and rehabilitate him.
Due to their extremely opposing views on modern heroics, the two argued constantly during their first few weeks together, although in time, Quentin started to grow and broaden his mind somewhat to other points of view. They were even starting to become friends.
Tragedy struck however when the towering figure of Galactus appeared over the planet. Simon was one of many of Earth's heroes to take up the fight, leaving Quentin behind in Los Angeles. Wonder Man was a great contribution to the Earth's defense against the Devourer of Worlds, yet regardless Galactus soon took the upper hand. That was before Wonder Man hit Galactus with everything he had, releasing a colossal blast of ionic energy. As a result, Simon dissipated into ionic energy, dead.
Quentin was left alone in the world once more.
This time however, he decided against wallowing in his pity and becoming violent like before. Instead, he decided to honor his friend, and what he stood for, by donning the infamous "W" and becoming the all-new Wonder Man.

“They say you just disappeared. Faded away into nothingness. Bit anticlimactic if you ask me.”
The world around Quentin Quire lay silent as he spoke, save for the low rustle of the wind and the light crash of waves onto the cliff face below. The teenager was alone, lounging in an elegantly-made wooden rocking chair placed at the top of a cliff, overlooking the sea. The sight would probably have been strange for the regular onlooker. Especially given the young mutant’s appearance; with his bright pink Mohawk clashing drastically with the beautiful scenery. His clothes clashed too. He was wearing a plain black suit, a look that seemed too orthodox and usual compared to what he usually wore.
There was a reason for that though. Today was the day of Simon William’s funeral.
The ceremony was currently taking place in Washington DC. It was to be a widely public event, given William’s efforts saving the world in the past as Wonder Man. Apparently there was even to be a parade. A speech from the President too. As well as one from the Avengers. A real heroes send off, one might say. Truthfully Quentin couldn’t give a rat’s ass.
Simon’s gone. Wonder Man’s gone. Like he said, the guy disappeared into thin air. Dissipated away as ionic energy. The bloody coffin down in Washington is empty, so what’s the point in even burying it?
“Guess that’s a good thing though.” Quire continued, looking up towards the sky as he spoke. “'Cus if they buried you, I'd be tempted to go there every morning and spit on it before my daily coffee. Would ruin my whole schedule. Can't have that...”
He grew silent after that last remark, before letting out a small dry chuckle. Moving gently, he rose from his seat. As he stood, he moved his eyes away from the skyline, instead placing them onto the rocking chair before him. Fumbling through his pockets, his hand emerged a few seconds later wielding a tattered looking pocket knife. Flicking it open, he gritted his teeth as he moved it down onto the surface of the chair, getting to work. He stayed like that for a good minute, etching the blade into the wood, until finally he pulled it back, folding the blade away as he did so.
“So this'll do, I think. Bit too peaceful for my liking. But remembered you saying you liked it here. You always were into all this nature crap."
Etched into the back of the chair was a single “W”.
“So yeah… Know it’s not much…”
His voice broke slightly as he turned back towards the break in the forest from where he had come from. Wiping his eyes underneath his glasses, he breathed heavily for several seconds. Giving the rocking chair one last pat, he made his departure. Just before reaching the treeline however, he stopped. Turning, he made one last look back towards the cliff face and the lone chair that sat atop it.
The young mutant let out a smile, his eyes starting to water once more.
“Hope I still get to put you in it one day. And I hope you’ll be proud of me for continuing your work.”
With that, he turned, disappearing into the trees.

Powers: Gabi has been blessed by the God of Rain himself, giving her a number of abilities. These include;
Weaknesses:
Supporting Characters:
Maisie was shocked to discover her family secret that she was actually the Granddaughter of Baba Yaga, a mystical being of Slavic Folklore.
Head of Colbert International, Stephen is a mysterious business man who seeks to capture and experiment on teenage superheroes, the reason for which remains unknown to the group. Colbert has offices all around the world, most noticeably in Pacific Point, Richmond and Grant City
Real Name: Frederick “Fred” Myers Age: 26 Gender: Male Powers, Abilities, and Gear:
While Myers has no real superhuman abilities, he is skilled in the area of accurately using complicated boomerangs as weapons. Examples of his arsenal includes:
Explosive Boomerang: Detonates on contact, damage to all in one area.
Razor Boomerang: A boomerang capable of cutting through bone and flesh when thrown correctly.
Both of these designs are collapsible for easy concealment.
Origin:
Migrating from Australia into the US at an early age, Fred's mother sent him away to baseball camp for his first summer in the country, in an attempt to get the boy to make friends and to take his mind off the move and her recent divorce.
However, it was during this time that Fred seemed to fall into a bad crowd, and after a while built up a considerable dept with a local loan-shark. In an effort to pay back his debts, Fred began taking bribes to lose games so that his loan-shark could bet on him. This plan backfired tremendously, however, with Fred getting caught out and suspended from playing baseball any more. His life fell apart after that, with Fred simply staying home all day and refusing to leave the house.
That was when he was approached by the Secret Empire, an international criminal organization who felt that Fred had the potential to be of great use for them due to his world-class pitching skills. Due to his Australian heritage, they aptly named him Boomerang, equipping him with a costume, as well as a collection of razor-sharp boomerangs.
He was soon confronted by the amazing Spider-Man, and after a short scuffle found himself behind bars. Fortunately for Fred, he soon found himself back on the streets due to the Court not finding the note left on his webbed-up body as sufficient evidence of his crimes.
As such Boomerang was back in action. However, all he needed now was a decent job…
STORY INFO:
High Concept: I want to tell the story of a henchman within the criminal underworld, and i feel like Fred Myers is the perfect choice to play the low-life scoundrel that lives such a life. I really like the idea of a low-level supervillain having interviews and encounters with New York's top dogs, and just struggling to find a job within such an odd market. Motivation and Conflict: Plain and simple, Fred Myers needs money, much like the rest of the costumed criminals that make up New York's underworld. Unfortunately, Fred certainly isn't the best at what he does and is quite gifted at getting himself into predicaments. He's low down in the food chain, yet he has his eyes on being one of New York's top dogs. Notes:
Herman Schultz AKA Shocker: Frequent foe of Spider-Man, Herman was Fred's cellmate during his most recent stay in the slammer. After getting out the two have stayed in touch, with Herman being one of Fred's only friends in the "business".
Phineas T. Mason AKA The Tinkerer: An inventor who designs advanced weaponry for criminals, the Tinkerer runs an underground fix-it shop disguised as a radio repair shop. Fred is a regular customer of his and constantly goes to him to see if he's heard of any odd jobs going.
Anthony Davis AKA The Ringer: Fred's self-proclaimed rival in the criminal business.

It had been hours now, since the events at the library. Illyana and the so-called Green Arrow had made quick work of releasing the hostages taken by the Metahuman Liberation Front, immediately turning over their captors to a team of S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents that had stormed the building once the towers had gone down. She’d avoided their questions, of course, taking into the night before they ended up throwing her into custardy too. The Government and their rules were something Illyana did not care for. Instead, she spent her evening moving about the city, laying a hand wherever she could.
The bulk of the work may have been done, largely it would seem by a masked speedster from Central City, but there was still plenty to do; Disrupting the riots that had arisen during the chaos; putting out fires that had started throughout the city; reuniting families with their loved ones.
As the sun began to rise over Star City, Illyana found herself sat atop the marbled roof of the Grell Museum, the site of her first impact on this city, in an attempt to catch her breath. Her work had taken her through the night. Normally she’d be exhausted and liable to collapse, but she needed to keep going. She had to, otherwise, she’d crack.
She attempted to take her mind off of things; moving her eyes down onto the plaza below. Government officials worked tirelessly around the remains of the Obelisk. Groups of workmen moved the large metallic chunks into the backs of vans marked by the Bulldog that was the group’s insignia. All signs of her previous combat with the gunmen had been cleared too. You could almost not even tell that this had been the site of a massive catastrophe. That hundreds of people had died in this city tonight. Magik knew though, and the thoughts made her cold.
The sound of crackling energy pulled her from her brooding. Turned her head, she watched as an oh-so-familiar flare of orange light revealing the presence of her teacher.
Stephen looked just as he had done when Illyana had last seen him the day prior, except that now heavy bags hung from beneath his eyes. Creeping her fingers to her own face, she wondered whether she looked as tired as he did at this moment. She certainly felt it.
Strange’s eyes moved around him, taking in his surroundings. He managed a short smiling as he noticed where they were.
“I remember once saying that I'd bring you here one day.” His voice seemed almost solemn as he held his gaze over the museum’s roof for a few seconds.
Silence fell between the two, as Illyana’s eyes moved to the floor below.
“You did good work. You saved lives.” His voice seemed jovial. Almost proud.
“Not every life though.” Her words cut back sharply.
He shook his head quickly, stopping her.
“No, no, no. Those deaths are not your fault.” He sounded awfully confident for someone that hadn’t even been there. “You did everything within your power to stop the Metahuman Liber-”
Rising to her feet, she interrupted.
“Not them.” She stated, her eyes still at her feet.
Strange grew quiet, trying to wrap his head around what she was talking about. Before he could ask anything, Illyana continued.
“Yesterday morning. Before all this started, I went and saw your old friend. The Canterbury Cricket.” The words pained her as they came, but she had to tell him. He deserved to know. “I wanted to meet him. To recruit him. And… And we were attacked.”
Her voice grew coarse.
“And he was killed.” It took her some time, but the words finally came.
Stephen stood still before her. His eyes burrowed into her; his mouth slightly agape as he tried to take in everything she had said. In the silence that hung between them, Illyana swore she could hear the cogs churning slowly in his brain. That she could hear the disappointment in his breathing.
After what felt like an eternity he spoke.
“I thought I sensed something.” He ran his hand through the hairs of his goatee, unsure of what to say. “It’s a shame. He was a good man.”
He looked like he wanted to say more, but the news seemed to have overwhelmed him.
Illyana couldn’t handle the silence, so she broke it.
“I’m going to avenge him.” She spoke with determination. "I’m going to make them pay.”
Her words seemed to shake Strange to his senses.
“Avenge him?” He exclaimed, his voice filled with confusion. “By the Ageless Vishanti, what are you on about?”
She couldn’t stop herself. She had to tell him now. Tell him everything.
“I’m going back, Stephen. I’m going back to Limbo and I’m going to put an end to Belasco once and for all.”
It wasn’t an empty threat. It was a promise. A dark pact she’d just now made with herself in the morning light.
But a single raised finger from Strange stopped her in her tracks.
“Nope. I don’t believe this…” He shook his head disappointingly, his hand moving from his goatee to push back the curls of his hair in annoyance. “Just when I thought you’d started to understand. Understand that revenge isn’t the way.”
His voice had grown angry. A tone Illyana had rarely heard during her time with him. A tone that scared her.
“I was going to give you this.” He said, moving his hand into the confines of his blue robes.
From it, he pulled a striking piece of red fabric, which flowed elegantly as it moved as if a kite flowing through the perfect summer breeze. Tall and extravagant, it mirrored the exact same cloak that the Sorcerer Supreme was currently wearing himself. Illyana’s eye’s widened as she took in the fine piece of clothing, her mind full of questions.
“I made it myself.” Stephen began, running his hand along with the fabric. “It may not be as spectacular as my own, but there are protective enchantments woven all through the fabric.”
“However, I can see now that I was wrong about you being ready.”
With a flick of his wrist, the red of the cloak vanished. Illyana held still, her words stuck at the back of her throat.
Strange couldn’t meet her eye and instead turned his attention to creating a portal home. Creating a circular motion with his index fingers, an amber light cut a hole through the air, revealing what looked like a doorway to a warmly lit entry hall. He took a single step before pausing and turning back towards his ward.
“I’m sorry Illyana.”
With that he disappeared through the doorway, leaving Illyana alone once more.
Empowered by the Greek god of war Ares, Cassie finds herself with immense strength and durability; the true limits of which she has yet to discover. The same can be said for her speed and reflexes which have been increased beyond..
Character Synopsis
Daughter of the Archaeologist Dr Helena Sandsmark, Cassandra's earliest memories were of exploring the world with her mother. Her job meant that they lived their lives on the road, travelling from one archaeological dig site to the next. Cassie never knew her father, however, with both her mother and the fellow archaeologists that travelled with them, she never felt the need for one. Her childhood gave her the opportunity to learn a variety of skills, from archaeology to learning a variety of foreign languages, but this came at the cost of her never attending formal education, and thus never mixing with children her own age.
It was around Cassie's 15th birthday that they travelled to a site in Greece, where Cassie was introduced to her mother's benefactor; Wonder Woman. She quickly befriended the Amazonian Princess, idolising her. Diana spent every night during the expedition telling Cassie tales of the Olympian Pantheon and her previous adventures, the young girl hanging at her every word.
Things took a turn during the expedition however when Dr Sandsmark excavated an ancient stone statue, created using the very clay that was told to have crafted Wonder Woman herself. Coming to life, the statue, now calling itself Decay, viciously attacked the group, targetting Wonder Woman. The creature was close to killing Diana before Cassie got involved and used a series of magical artefacts they'd dug up to push the creature back. Thanks to the assistance, Wonder Woman was able to defeat the creature for good, however, despite things turning out okay, Cassie's mother was horrified. It was this event that caused her to tell Cassie who her father was.
Discovering that her father was actually the Olympian God Zeus, Cassie begged him for a boon and a chance to have real powers so that she could help people just like Wonder Woman. Zeus said no.
In an attempt to help Cassie to move past everything that had happened and begin to live more of a normal life, Cassie's mother took a job as a curator of the Nation History Museum in New York City. But being in a city like New York only made Cassie want to help people more. That was when she found herself encountering none other than Ares, the Greek god of war and frequent enemy of Wonder Woman. Warning her of "the coming war", he told her he had heard her request to Zeus, and disapproved of the result. Dubbing her his champion, he gifted her with the strength and power of the Gods, along with the Lasso of Lightning and the Bracelets of Submission.
And so she began to use her new gifts for good, all the while fearing that she'd made a terrible mistake in trusting the God of War.

S Y N O P S I S S O F A R:
Vowing revenge on her former captor, Belasco, Illyana Rasputin sought out members of the magical community in an attempt at raising an armry against Limbo. Her search led her to the Ragman, and his suit of souls. After assisting the Gotham vigilante with stopping a mystical being named Master Belaric Marcosa, Ragman agreed to join her. The two met with another potential recruit; the Canterbury Cricket, however, that just led to further peril. Just as he was trying to convince Illyana that she wasn't the blame for the bad things that had happened to her, he was slain by the Demon S'ym, one of Illyana's former captors back in Limbo.
After fending off S'ym and the rest of the Demon's Three, Illyana discovered that Belasco had kidnapped another mortal, trapping them in Limbo just as she had been. Before she had the opportunity to process this news, the United States of America was rocked by a vicious terrorist act led by the Metahuman Supremacy Front. Doctor Strange sent her to look over Star City whilst he helped handle the crisis within New York, leading to Magik confront members of the M.S.F. alone. The group brought her to her breaking point once they began to kill hostages, leading to her transforming her Soul Staff back into the Sword she had wielded down in Limbo. With the assistance of the local hero Green Arrow, they took down the terrorist group's presence within the city, stopping the crisis from worsening.
The morning after the attack, Illyana confessed to Strange about her plan to kill Belasco during an emotional conversation, leading to him walking away disappointed in his ward.
Illyana found herself battling to control the anger and pain that churned inside her during the weeks that followed. Sadly she succumbed to these feelings during an adventure where she brutally killed a group of fleeing enemies. Following the event, an argument broke out between her and Strange, leading to Illyana finally deciding to go her own way...
Explosion Inducement: Through accelerating the molecules at a specified point, Joanie is able to cause explosions. Depending on the chosen target, the size of these explosions will vary; the bigger the target, the bigger and more dangerous the explosion.
There are several limitations to this ability, however. More time and effort is required to trigger a larger target, with Joanie becoming tired if she exerts herself too much. On top of this, Joanie isn't invulnerable to her explosions, meaning that it could be extremely dangerous for her if something were to go wrong. This is only heightened from the fact that it'll take time for Joanie to learn how to accurately target something to explode; A single touch while angry could be all that is takes to trigger one. Touching her target isn't exactly necessary, however it may take a lot of effort and training for her to trigger an explosion without it.
BACKSTORY
Growing up as one of the only Asian kids in Crestwood Hollow, Joanie found herself an outsider for the entirety of her youth.
Joanie's father Steven had grown up in the lowly town of Crestwood Hollow, before leaving for college in Norfolk. Given his thirst for knowledge, he flourished there, eventually joining the department of Psychology as a research fellow. That was where he met Magindara, Joanie's mother, who had recently emigrated from the Philippines; the two had gone to grab for the same book at the college's library. Seven months later the two had married, before settling down to Steven's hometown once Joanie's mother had fallen pregnant.
Joanie didn't have many friends as she made her way through school, with her becoming quiet and reserved as a kid in an effort to avoid being the subject of the school bullies. Despite this, jeers and insults still found their way to her. This, in collaboration with the regular teenage hormones, led to the girl growing a bold and sarcastic personality as she bit back, commonly mocking and insulting her peers in retaliation. Despite it often leading to her finding herself receiving a talking to from both her teachers and her parents, Joanie had decided that the best way to solve her problems was to simply push back.
As Sophmore year began, this behaviour only escalated. That was until one of Joanie's classmates stepped in during one particular standoff within the corridors of Mather Memorial High. Joanie hadn't spoken to Vanessa Bordeaux much until that point, she operated in a greater social cloud than she after all, however, the two found themselves drifting together; Stolen glances from across the class. Occasional small talk in the halls. The brush of her hand as she passed Joanie handouts in class. Bonding over a shared interest in the latest Margaret Atwood novel in the town's bookshop. It probably wasn't anything significant to Vanessa, but Joanie found a newfound fire burning deeply within her whenever she laid eyes on the girl.
One of the popular girls at Mather Memorial, Erica Northridge, held a house party a few months into the school year. Joanie told people the only reason she went was for the free booze, but really it was because Vanessa had mentioned going. As the night drew to a close, the two teenagers found themselves sat together alone in the house's laundry room, continuing conversation that they had had in the bookstore weeks prior. Joanie didn't know if it was because of the liquid courage she'd been drinking or just the particular way that Vanessa had styled her hair that night, but she soon found herself kissing her. Awkwardly trying to laugh off what had happened, Joanie ran before Vanessa could even respond.
The following week Joanie avoided both her gaze and all other attempts that Vanessa made to talk to her. She didn't want to confront what had happened. She didn't want to lose what had been the happiest months of her life. Then, just as she had built up the courage to finally confront her, Joanie found her heart shatter as Vanessa's death was announced during morning announcements.
OTHER SKILLS
Music: Joanie was enrolled in piano lessons for the majority of her time during elementary school, before eventually quitting upon reaching middle school. To appease her mother, however, she kept up her musical talents to an extent by learning to play bass.
Intelligent: She has demonstrated a high aptitude for English literature, history, and philosophy, among other subjects. In recent years she's become enthralled in feminist literature.
RELATIONSHIP TO VANESSA
While sharing classes for a large part of their lives, the two hadn't interacted much until Sophmore year where Joanie found herself quickly falling for Vanessa after an incident. They grew somewhat close, with Joanie kissing Vanessa at a party a week before her death.

The Terrifics instantly became a favourite of mine since it's debut a few years ago, with the idea of a bunch of strangers coming together to form both a team and a family being something I enjoy a lot.
This series was heavily based on the idea of the Fantastic Four, with each character being an analogue for one the iconic roster. Mr Terrific, in particular, takes on the role of Mr Fantastic, and as such, I really want to hone into some of the flaws that the character he is replacing held. In some stories, Reed is seen to only care about science or their work, getting wrapped up in those things and as a result letting things slide because of their focus in on larger problems. I wanted to play up this idea with Mr Terrific, a character who's already suffered so much loss within his personal life.

As Billy Kaplan stared up at the behemoth of a man before him, he uttered the whisper of a prayer in Hebrew. He had no idea who or what a Tempus Fuginaut was but having a golden-skinned being appear before you shouting your name was clearly a sign for the worst, especially in his line of work. His mind rushed back over everything the giant had said. Careless Actions. The comment stung. It was clear that what he had done to the Terror Twins was even worse than either he or Teddy had even imagined if it had put him on this guy’s radar.
“What do you want?” Billy nearly stuttered as he spoke. It had taken a lot of willpower to open his mouth, let alone ask a question.
Tempus Fuginaut, as he referred to himself, simply looked down at him for a moment, as if questioning why someone so clearly beneath him had dare talk back. Billy expected the worse, yet no untimely death seemed to come his way. Instead, Tempus Fuginaut opened their mouth to speak once more.
“I will show you.”
Before Billy could even utter any form of protest, the world around him lurched violently.
The skyline darkened, quickly filling with the twinkle of stars. New York was gone none, leaving a void of space below him. Billy panicked, flailing his arms around him as he prepared to fall, yet by some miracle found himself floating in place. He gasped in amazement, his eyes taking all of the beautiful emptiness around him in. The stars were like scattered moondust in the sky. He’d never expected it to look so peaceful. He knew in an instant that this sight would never escape Billy’s memory.
He found a dazed smile escaping across his lips. If only Teddy was here to witness this with him.
Tempus Fuginaut simply looked down at the teenager, a smile of bemusement crossing his face at the sight of Billy’s adjustment to his new surroundings. It was odd to see such a regal looking being smile like that. It almost humanized them. Billy almost felt at ease for the first time since this whole ordeal had begun. Almost.
Billy nearly vocalized this thought, until the being began to talk again, with the booming tone of Tempus’ voice merely adding a god-like atmosphere to the space around them.
“The world is forever a place of wonder, but with that wonder comes chaos.” As he spoke, Tempus gave a wave of his hand, and Billy watched as the vastness around them shifted, as if a movie projector were casting an image against the darkness. Billy recognized a great deal of the projections before them; he had watched the events in a state of terror long ago on his TV screen. The great beast Starro rising from the depths of the ocean. The alien attack on New York City. A green giant rampaging through a city. Other images he did not recognize quite so much. Parents rushing to save their infant child as their planet crumbles around them. Great battles of the Gods. A crazed scientist left for years on a barren wasteland by his team.
And then finally an image of Billy himself from earlier that day, the bodies of Tommy and Tuppence Terror lying unconscious below him. Billy shuddered to think of the other clips of himself misusing his abilities that could have appeared.
“Where the Monitor’s and Watcher’s jobs are to watch and observe all of reality, I must preserve it.” Tempus Fuginaut continued, unfazed by the images beyond him. “Sure, other beings help…”
At this, the images shifted. The clip of Starro moved to show the might of the Justice League facing the tentacled creature down. The Avengers arriving to fight off the invasion above Manhattan. A young metahuman feeling the vibrations of the world himself. No, not just one world. The vibrations of all worlds. There were more like him too, all throughout the multiverse. Even an anthropomorphic duck wearing a 3-piece suit. It was a big universe. Filled with heroes.
Billy found himself spinning on the spot in order to take it all in before they shifted into nothingness once more.
“But I heal the tears in space-time and prevent them from happening.” Tempus stood tall and bold, radiating power as he spoke of his part in the world. “I seek to keep the universe in complete harmony until the Demiurge is born and can recreate it in his image.”
It was a lot to take in. Superheroes he understood. He had been watching caped crusaders fighting criminals for years, and even been doing some of the fighting himself. It was second nature now. This on the other hand? This was different. This was otherworldly.
“What.. What’s the Demiurge?” The first of a great number of questions on his mind.
A smile formed upon the golden man’s face once more.
“Take a look for yourself.” He said, gesturing upwards towards the vastness of space before them.
Billy did not see it at first. He just found himself staring at the twinkle of the starlight, expecting another image to appear like before. Then he really began to see the stars, and how they were aligned in the darkness. The shining speckles twirled and danced along the sky in various patterns, forming lines. The lines of a face. The curls of hair. It was soon clear whose face it was bejewelled into the universe itself. It was Billy’s.
Why was it his face?
He opened his mouth to speak but no words came out. It was if they had gotten lost in this starry reflection before him.
“Yes Billy Kaplan. You are the Demiurge.” Tempus’s words snapped Billy back to reality slightly. “The sentient life force of the Universe itself.”
“No… No I’m fucking not.” Billy declared loudly, turning to Tempus. He was shaking now. “I’m barely 18. I’m still a kid. You’ve got this all wrong sir, I-“
Tempus raised a hand, cutting him off, further adding to Billy exasperation.
“You may be young now boy, but it is your destiny. You only have a glimpse of your truth power currently, but it is growing by the day. I shudder to think of the damage possible by such power in the hands of someone so young and inexperienced.”
“Then what on earth do you expect me to do?” Billy exclaimed, waving his arms out in front of him in confusion. If what he could now was only a snippet of what was to come, then he wanted out.
“Train. Stay here with me and I will teach you all there is I know.”
Billy scoffed loudly at the thought.
“I can’t stay here… I have a life. I have Teddy.”
“You think that this Teddy is more important than the universe itself?”
“Teddy is my whole universe.” Billy stated adamantly, clenching his fists. He knew it was selfish. He obviously knew what the right decision was here. But he couldn’t stay. He wasn’t ready for this. He wasn’t a God. “I want to go home. Now.”
Tempus pursed his lips, glaring down at the teenager. Billy held his own and glared back. But it was not strength that fueled him. It was fear.
At last Tempus Fuginaut gave up.
“Fine. But in time Billy Kaplan, you will accept your fate.”
“Good fucking luck with that.”
With a wave of the giant’s hand, the world around Billy shifted once more. Gone was the beautiful background of stars. Now Billy was back on the rooftop from before, the wind rushing around him.
He stood silently, his eyes gazing over the city absentmindedly. The ring of his phone soon brought back into focus. He rushed to pull it from his pocket. It was Teddy, worrying where he had gotten to. He sighed a breath of relief.
Whatever it was that was happening, at least everything with Teddy was ok.

"For years I've felt torn between my feelings and my duty."
Born into a world of war and violence, the winged people of Thanagar strike fear across the universe, making use of their Nth metal weaponry and advanced technology.
A veteran of the Rann-Thanagar war, the atrocities of which shaped her youth, Shayera finds herself an agent of the Thanagar Police Force. Operating and training under the guidance of her betrothal, Commander Hro Talak, Shayera battles all those that oppose the power of the Thanagar Empire. Yet, day by day Shayera finds herself doubting the cause she has spent her whole life dedicated to. She finds herself haunted by constant nightmares, mainly consisting of the assaults on Rann, yet intermittent with segments of forgotten memories of a time she does not remember on a distant world.

As highlighted through my portrayal of Magik in Absolute Comics, I really enjoy stories involving a character's journey of self-discovery and actualization. Hawkgirl, particularly the version shown within Bruce Timm's Justice League and Justice League Unlimited television series, is a character who I feel embodies these themes extremely well during the "Starcrossed" story arc; This featured Shayera having to choose between her home planet and Earth. The conflict here of individualism, collectivism, and fighting for the common good are ideas I want to explore further.
The first few arcs of my story will take place amongst the stars, as Shayera Hol works as a Thanagarian Police Officer, before eventually heading to Earth.
My concept takes huge inspiration from the previously mentioned story arc from the Justice League series, as well as Captain Marvel from the Marvel Cinematic universe.

Thanagar, Sea of Scythia The roar of the craft’s engine thundered as it rocketed above the waves. While crudely put together, the speeder moved swiftly, the lower fin slicing through the top of the water, kicking up waves of crystalline water in its wake and giving the craft a vivid tail of blue that extended after it like a flag. There was almost a beauty to it, however, that prospect was taken away by the sight of the crew.
Chitinous exoskeletons sloped upwards across their bodies to their heads, where numerous pairs of insectoid eyes flickered madly, as they scuttered around the ship. All of them, bar the pilot, stood circling the centre of the vessel, where a series of small cargo containers fell piled atop one another. They brandished weapons as they protected their bounty, aiming them across the sea in paranoia. They had a right to be scared. The stolen pile of unrefined nth metal would be enough to buy them an entire moon if they wanted. Which meant that the Thanagarians would not be letting them escape the planet without a fight.
“You see anything out there?” The leader of the Dragonfly Raiders asked nervously, his voice intercut by a series of ravenous clicking from their pincerlike mouth.
One of the crew stepped towards the edge of the deck, raising a set of binoculars to their eyes. They scanned the skyline slowly, taking in the orange hues of the sunset and nothing more.
“I don’t see nothing.” They clicked in response, before taking another glance.
That was when a flash of gold flashed across his vision.
He yelped in response, tearing the binoculars away from his eyes. He whipped out his blaster, wildly aiming it around him.
“There’s a Hawk!”
Before the rest of the gang could react, the speeder lurched downwards as a great force collided against its nose. They turned in unison, their eyes widening as they gazed upon the angelic being now stood before them.
An imposing birdlike mask sat atop her head, her eyes white slits either side of the beak. Red hair fell perfectly from under it, falling effortlessly atop her armoured shoulders. Powerful wings of grey feathers erupted from her back, fanning out either side of her triumphantly. A large metallic mace sat firmly in her grasp, pulsating with energy, engulfing the ship around her in a light purple glow.
Her eye furrowed as she looked between the group.
“I am Lieutenant Shayera Hol, and by order of Thanagar, you are all under arrest.” Her voice was barely loud enough to be heard over the engine, yet it struck the Raiders in front of her deeply. She watched as they shuffled nervously for a few seconds, eyeing each other as if deciding what to do. This did not last long however, as with one last glance towards their fortune, they laid fire.
Beams of red energy rocketed towards Shayera as she darted forward, shielding herself behind her weapon. Strafing to the left, she swung, the bandit she struck going flying overboard as soon as the nth metal hit his body. Moving her body down, she brought her mace back around, slamming it upwards into a second, sending both him and his weapon flying into the sea. Still, she continued. One moment she was at the firing end of one of the insectoid’s blasters, the next her mace was breaking one of his mouth pincers will a swing of her fist.
As she surged forward through the group, the leader slinked backwards. He heaved one of the containers with him, cowardly seeking to make off with a chunk of his prize at least. He peered quickly over the edge of the vessel, his mind calculating how he would make his escape. Yet as the final member of his crew fell before him under the power of the Thanagarian warrior, he knew he had lost.
Dropping the crate, he raised his blaster pistol towards her, firing wildly.
She dodged, taking to the skies momentarily with a flap of her wings, before launching herself atop him. Her kick sent him hurtling backwards, his body smashing into the pilot’s control panel. The machine surged with sparks as he hit it, causing another lurch in the ship as it tilted downwards, hitting the waves of the ocean below.
“You… fuckin’ Hawk” He managed, his right arm gripping the side of his body tightly as he arched forward in pain. Moving quickly, he reached out with his spare hand to the left, towards where his blaster lay upon the deck. Before he could reach it, however, Shayera’s boot slammed down onto it, the bones in his hand shattering.
As he wailed in agony, she smirked, before kicking the weapon away.
“All you had to do was surrender,” Shayera explained coolly, wiping a smear of bright green blood off her mace as she did so.

"Truth. Justice." "And the homosexual way."
Billy and Teddy were inseparable during their time at school, and before long it was clear that this bond was more than just friendship. This bond was strengthened by the revelation of their abilities, with the two believing themselves to both be mutants. Given their obsession with superheroes and all things of that nature, it was only natural that the two decided to use their gifts in order to fight crime.
Little did they know, neither of the two were right about the origin of their abilities.
Galaxies away, a great war between the Kree and the Skrull Empire rages. Years ago during the conflict, a Kree warrior found himself imprisoned within the palace of Skrull Emperor Dorrek VII. There he met and fell in love with the emperor's daughter, Anelle, who gave birth to a Hatchling months later. Fearing for its life due to its parentage, she sent it away across the stars with a handmaiden, hoping to hide them from the war. Rumours of the half-breed echo across the battlefields, with many believing that the appearance of the long lost Prince Dorrek VIII could turn the tides of war.
Around this same time, the sentient life force of the universe itself, the Demiurge, began to prepare itself for its predestined host. A young baby was placed on the doorstep of an orphanage in the city of Manhattan. Neither the child, nor his adopted parents, had any idea what was in store for him.

Wiccan and Hulkling (hereby renamed Changeling because the name Hulkling is dumb) are a pair of characters that I have loved for years, with the two of them being my favourite relationship in comics. I've always wanted to bring them to life, and given the recent Empyre event by Marvel Comics, I am now more encouraged than ever.
Billy and Teddy are both characters predestined for greatness; Billy is set to become the omnipotent Demiurge, a powerful entity which gave birth to the Elder Gods, while Teddy is the saviour who is meant to unite two species that have been warring against one another for aeons. Within the comics, they have been building up to these events for years. This won't be the same for my interpretation, as Billy and Teddy, despite only just starting out as superheroes, will find themselves thrust into their destinies. I want to explore how these changes will affect them, and their relationship.
C H A R A C T E R N O T E S:
When it comes to my supporting cast, I want to announce off the bat that I will NOT be making use of the Scarlet Witch, or that aspect of Billy's history. I will be absolutely happy if someone were to pick up the character and play as her, and if they did wish to collaborate in that scenario, I will be more than happy to talk.
Another talking point is the Young Avengers. While I currently do not have plans to make use of them as characters, they are a topic I may approach in the future. That being said, I'd be perfectly happy if someone else were to make use of them. This would definitely be something I'd be happy to collaborate with as well.
As for characters I am interested in, one aspect of my story will deal heavily with the Kree and Skrull Empire, and as such, I will be pulling a number of characters affiliated with them. This will also include a range of other Cosmic based characters from both DC and Marvel.
I am also planning on using aspects from DC's Sideways series, namely their use of Tempus Fuginaut.
