Alexandar James Woodbury

"It is what it is." -Unknown

Personal Information

Name:
Alexandar James Woodbury

Nickname:
Alex

Birth Date:
February 6th

Age:
22

Gender:
Trangender Male

Sexuality:
He doesn't quite know what to label himself. As long as you vibe it's possible.

In The Mirror

In Depth Appearance:
Alex only just recently started Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). His features have started to change a little, but not by much. Slowly but surely his face is becoming more masculine. The fat on his face has started to move to other places, leaving a slightly sharper jawline and cheekbones. He's still on the chubby side, but he embraces it. The fat on the rest of his body has also started to move about him, thinning his thighs and arms, but sadly it's all going to his belly. Testosterone can't help that he only stands at 5'6", but he's come to terms with that. He doesn't have top or bottom surgery yet, but his binds his chest to give a more masculine look.

Clothing Style:
His style ranges to and from everything now that he can wear what he wants. Alex loves to be dressy, he doesn't really need a reason to. Dress shirts, skinnes, and his Doc Martens are his go to, but on days he isn't feeling it he often wears American Eagle, Rue 21, brands like that. He's really into floral patterns, stripes, and bold colors. If he isn't wearing boots he's wearing his LGBT Adidas shoes. On occasion you'll find him in sweatpants in public, but those are rare.

Personality:
Flamboyant Responsibly Irresponsible Outgoing

Alex tends to keep to himself and is a little awkward. That is until he gets comfortable with you. It took him a couple of years to even show his face on camera for his Youtube channel, but he loved singing and wanted to share it with the world. Once he's comfortable around you he's always talking and is very animated. Alex is very much a person who talks with not only his hands, but his whole body. He struggles to stand or sit still while telling a story. While he's very talkative he knows when enough is a enough and when to listen to a friend.

Background:
Alex was born to a Ashleigh and Charlie Woodbury as their second child, their "beautiful little girl" named Taylor. As a baby she was always in put in dresses and skirts. When she turned two she put her foot down and said no. Her mom payed no attention to her and continued with the dresses and skirts. Taylor went crying her grandfather about it and he put a stop to it. She was bought jeans and tee shirts and loved the new found freedom. Around this time her father left, he couldn't take Ashleigh anymore. Fast forward a few years and she wore dresses when she was forced to dress up to make her mother happy, but always hated even looking at them. It wasn't until the summer after her freshmen year of high school that she found out what transgender was. She didn't think she meant to be a girl. She started looking more into it and watching people on YouTube who were also transgender.
Rolling forward a few months and Taylor fully realized she was a he and while Taylor is a gender neutral name, wanted it changed. It was just a reminder of his sex. Alex came out to his close group of friends first and they accepted him with open arms. With their pushing he decided to tell his mother. He wrote a letter fulling outlining how he felt and put it in her purse before he went to band camp. Not the best way to go about it, but he couldn't handle the rejection right to his face. When he got picked up he was nervous to say the least. Ashleigh went on about how much she loved him, but he was always a she and would always be his little girl. He wanted to jump out of the car because of ow awful he felt, his own mother didn't accept him. This lead to years of his mom bulling him at home, making sure to call him by his birth name and use the wrong pronouns. He hated his life and fell into a depression. He began self harming to make his mom's word hurt less, it worked for a little while until he couldn't handle it anymore. He attempted suicide at age 17, but it didn't work. He doesn't like to talk about that much. With his attempt his mother started treating him worse, making fun of him for wanting to kill himself. She knew that clothes would make him more comfortable so she limited what he could wear to gender neutral shirts only and women's jeans. He hated getting dressed in the morning, he hated coming home after school, he hated his life. He got a job to keep him out of the house as much as possible. His mother demanded half of his paycheck each week and he hated it, but it was either that or the streets. It took him 4 years to save up and move out. He recently got in contact his with father again and told him about everything and Charlie took him out on a shopping spree with no limit and helped him buy things for his house that he rents with total strangers. None of the housemates talk, they just happen to inhabit the same living corders and that's it and they're all okay with it as long as bills get paid. A year after moving out his called his dad, who happens to be the Head of the school(I can't for the life of me remember what this term actually is, but basically he runs the school) and he got him in tuition paid in full.

Extra:
Has a semi popular YouTube channel that has a half a million subscribers. It ranges from vocal or drum covers, to vlogs of his life and transition.

Personal Information

Name:
Alana J. Carter

Nickname:
LaLa, Lana

Birth Date:
March 16th

Age:
20

Gender:
Female

Sexuality:
Bisexual

When She Looks into the Mirror

In Depth Appearance:
Alana is a brown skinned girl of average height, standing at five feet and six inches tall. Her naturally black hair, recently died a honey blonde color, when straightened, falls to her shoulders after its recent cut. Her eyes were hazel, and without doubt the most captivating aspect of her appearance, reflecting a look of wisdom far beyond her age that could not help but draw people in. Almost every day, Alana "beats" her face, enhancing her beauty in any and every way she can. Alana weighs about 150 lbs, and has a curvy figure. She has a helix piercing, a conch piercing, a tragus piercing, and a lobe piercing in her left ear. She has three lobe piercings on her right ear as well as tragus and daith piercings. She has a septum piercing as well. Alana has several tattoos, though she plans on getting more tattoos eventually.

Clothing Style:
Alana's style of dress can be summarized as "Urban Fashion." Urban Fashion is edgy and reflects lifestyle, attitudes and individuality. She has a new hairstyle every couple of weeks. Because she's never really had much money, a lot of her clothes were given to her from friends and her brother. She also goes to thrift shops to find clothes that she can make her own, and you could never tell that they were hand me downs. She has a few things in her wardrobe that costed a bit of money, from when her brother decided to spoil her or she had some extra money. Her wardrobe mainly consists of skinny & boyfriend jeans, denim shorts, graphic T's, leather and bomber jackets, Vans, Jordan's, and a dirty pair of white air-force ones. She always accessorizes with rings, chokers, and extra large hoop earrings. You'd typically see her in a pair of ripped skinny jeans with a plain T-shirt and a pair of matching sneakers.

Who is Alana?

Quirks/Oddities/Habits
  • Usually dances or plays basketball to blow off steam.
  • Gets physically angry when people mispronounce a certain word (e.g Illinois, precedent as president, especially as expecially).
  • Writes with left hand, but does everything else right-handed.
  • Has several hidden body piercings or tattoos that regular clothing conceal.
  • Has a distinct New York accent/Uses slang

Likes:
  • Basketball
  • Reggae music, old school hip-hop & rap
  • Writing stories and poetry
  • Smoking weed
  • Dancing
  • Spicy foods
  • Staying up all night, and sleeping all day

Dislikes:
  • Country Music/Heavy Metal
  • Being publicly embarrassed
  • Hot Drinks "I like my coffee iced."
  • Having to wake up early
  • Text Talk. "I mean, for real? 'ROFL?' What? Are you dead ass rolling on the floor laughing? Well, please stay down there a sec while I KICK YA ASS."
  • Gossip

Fears:
  • Getting attached to someone
  • Cancer
  • Police Officers

Personality:
Quiet Competitive Trustworthy Confrontational

Having grown up with a large number of male friends and an older brother, Alana is considered to be a "Tomboy." When going to the park, for instance, she'd rather get sticky and sweaty by playing a game of basketball or jogging around than sit and "tan" with her girlfriends. She's prefers to keep to herself and stay quiet, but when in a confident mood can be very charismatic and outgoing. It is very easy for someone like Alana to make friends, and it's hard for someone to ever really dislike her. She's competitive, on and off the court, but will never come off as arrogant. Once you get to know her, you see that she is a very humble, caring, intelligent, and trustworthy individual. She has a past, along with a few quirks, as does every other human being, but makes up for them by being an overall fun and generally happy person to be around. More often than not, however, she would rather spend time to herself, writing, reading, and listening to reggae.

Background:
Alana was born into the Carter family in Brooklyn, NY. Although her family was poor, her single mother tried her hardest to give Alana and her older brother a normal life. Their father had left the family before Alana was born, when her brother was five years old. ("He cheated on my moms with some skinny ass white broad and moved to Cali. Good riddance.") She'd receive letters and postcards from him every year for her birthday, but left them in a box under her bed, unopened. Although never having the "pleasure" of meeting her father, Alana knew how much of a deadbeat he was based on everything she'd learned from her mother and brother, Terrance.

Ever since she was a little girl, Alana has been an avid basketball fan. Every chance she got, she would play and attend basketball games with her guy-friends, slowly but surely starting to fall in love with the game. At the age of eight, she'd finally convinced her mother to let her play on a team, and the rest was history. Alana grew up to be the star player on her high school team, playing the position of point guard. Everyone, including her coach, expected great things of her; they all just knew that one day she'd make it to the WNBA. Her mother, however, was pushing her to go to college. She didn't see any future for Alana as a ball player, instead wishing for her to become a doctor or lawyer. She constantly pushed her to do her best in school, and practically forced her to join many clubs and school organizations. She'd even signed her up for dance classes, which she actually grew to enjoy.

The world she knew came crashing down on June 16th, 2006. It was the last day of school, therefore they'd been let out of class early. Alana rode the subway home, as normal, arriving shortly before her brother. It was unusually quiet when she entered the house; her mother should have been getting ready to leave for work. Upon entering her mother's room, Alana saw that she was still laying in bed. She tried to shake her awake; if she wasn't awake within a few minutes, she'd be late for work. Alana shook as hard as she could, but her mother didn't move an inch. It was in that moment Alana realized that her mother was not breathing. Later on in her life she came to find out that her mother had stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer is often diagnosed at a late stage because it tends not to show symptoms early on, and because of this, the cancer was incurable.

After her mother's death, Alana and Terrance moved to West Virginia to live with their grandparents. Alana was able to join the high school basketball team and work her way up again, which resulted in her earning a scholarship to MLU. Wanting to somewhat obey her mother's wishes, she decided to major in psychology.

Extra:
She can hold her liquor, but isn't much of a drinker.

Dustyn Taylor Flynt

"'My father warned me about men and booze but he never said anything about women and cocaine." -Tallulah Bankhead

Personal Information

Name:
Dustyn Taylor Flint

Nickname:
Dusty

Birth Date:
June 8th

Age:
21

Gender:
Female

Sexuality:
Heterosexual

In The Mirror

In Depth Appearance:
Dustyn stands very petite at five foot two and weighing less than one hundred and fifteen pounds. Closer to one hundred during her months of "I'm trying hard to cut back man.." which is a nice way of putting: not drinking alcohol and eating fast food every night. She has a head full of naturally curly light brown hair, that she keeps long and often leaves down. Her eyes are a very light grey which can appear to be more of a blue tint when in the proper lighting. Dustyn enjoys being dolled up, but doesn't put too much effort in to her appearance. She enjoys lipsticks, eyeliners, and eye shadows when appropriate. Her body is littered with many scars and often bruises from her escapades of the past and present. She has yet to get a tattoo, but would love to get a thigh piece one of these days when she comes across the money and the right artwork. Her ears are pierced in several places, mostly done in the bathroom of friend's dorm rooms and very uneven.

Another hole is just another hole after all.

Clothing Style:
Comfort with a splash of grunge. Dustyn is always seen in some type of denim, whether it be skinnies or daisy dukes- she has jeans on. Not too picky with whatever her top is, as long as it doesn't smell too bad from the last time she washed it. Tends to not wear a purse or any type of bag with her, so don't be surprised if she asks you to place her stuff in your pockets or your own bag. Wears accessories often, but nothing worth more than a couple dollars. Wears a watch sometimes, but the battery has long been dead.

Quirks/Oddities/Habits
  • Nightowl
  • Doesn't know how to ride a bike
  • Chews her nails when she is nervous
  • Swears she made out with Morgan Freeman once
  • Always has someone elses lighter in her pockets

Likes:
  • Pretty drinks with long names
  • Spending time with her friends
  • Dancing until her legs ache
  • Taking naps during all times of the day
  • Sending photos on snapchat of random body parts

Dislikes:
  • Carrying a purse
  • When people don't know how to relax
  • Early mornings when she hasn't slept at all
  • Hangovers that can't be cured with french fries
  • Guys who don't text or call the next day

Fears:
  • Overdosing on something too hard
  • Never finding someone who truly loves her
  • Falling between the sink and toilet and getting severely stuck

Personality:
Fun Carefree Outgoing Irresponsible

Dustyn is someone that would see you eating lunch by yourself and not hesitate to walk over and keep you company. Granted, she might sit down and end up eating half of your sandwich while she explains to you why she thinks it'd be a good idea for you to go to the movies with her that night to see some new slasher flick- but she means well. She is not dumb, but can often appear air-headed and aloof based on her social activities and her tendency to go off on a tangent of something that she is passionate about or something that didn't really happen (ie: don't ask about her Moran Freeman story). Dusty wants the best for everyone and herself, she just doesn't know how to go about it just yet.

Background:
Dustyn was conceived in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her parents had both been on their honeymoon with their spouses and ended up banging each other's brains out behind Caesar's Palace, or was it a Little Caesar's pizza? Either way, the two lovebirds had put their last relationships in the past and began the whirlwind that was Dustin and Kimberly. A couple years had gone by but as soon as the big P word slipped from doctor's mouth, Dustyn's father had said he had other places to be- and thanks for the good time, it was fun. He even left a "Get well soon" card on the dresser, with about twelve dollars in singles.

Kimberly now was dumbfounded, pregnant, and all alone. She decided to leave sin city and try to find a better life in West Virginia. She didn't find any greener grass, but when Dustyn was born she did find out what happiness was again. The two lived in a small trailer park, growing up together and experiencing what life had to offer without many material goods. Though Dusty didn't live a glamorous life, she learned early on how much value there was in a strong family, true friends, and a good time.

As Dustyn grew into the age where teenagers start to experiment with smoking, drinking, and other questionable activities her artwork began to pop up as well. Vandalism and graffiti for the most part, but they were works of art in their own right. She took to greater lengths, pushing more and more to try expand her skill and decided after a couple years out of high school she wanted to pursue a career in Art.

She hopes this experience will grow her into a woman that will make her mom proud.

Extra:
Favorite drink is a simple rum and coke. If you remember this she will love you forever.
