Vix -- A Startling Change, Ver. 2
"Are you sure?" He inquired, as he held a stone which seemed to constantly ripple with an invigorating heat. With a nose that squinched up sloghtly while she smelled the rock, Vix narrowed her eyes for a moment. Of course she wanted to do this, she was tired of being a meek little Vulpix. She was tired of feeling incompetent next to her fellow teammates, and now there was something she could do to help improve her abilities right in front of her.
That, and she had a promise to keep. One which involved intertwined pinkies.
"Yep, I'm certain. I'm overdue, I think." Vix quipped with a hint of humor, glimpsing back at the stone before locking gazes with Jaden. "Just let me get ready for this, proprely at least."
In a sudden flash, and a burst of radiating warmth, she transitioned into a state that in all their travels, he hadn't seen once. Before him, sitting and waiting patiently with a set of adorable looking eyes of onyx was a little Vulpix in foxen form. With six fluffly little tails and pointed ears thar folded slightly as he looked like he was trying to stifle a laugh. A long silence followed, caused by his stufling and her lack of amusement until at long last he held out the stone to her.
It was then that she made her choice. She was going to be the fire that guided him through the darkness, his guardian when all had been consumed by abysmal people like his uncle.
So a singular paw reached out as she looked up to him, and pressed down upon the opposite side of the stone. It barely took a second for the stone to ttake effect as she stepped back, with a brilliant sapphire light enveloping the little fox and seeming to devour her hungrily. The energy expunged from the efforts of evolution filled the air with mist, and just as quickly as it had begun, the light ceased, and a slender form remained enveloped by the smoke.
As the haze cleared, the form began to move, as now a pale colored head with light brown eyes stared at Jaden. Each step that Vix's new form walked with seemed filled with unintentional grace. As a cloud of not six, but nine luxurious tails wrapped about him in silky warmth as she walked around him silently. So long were they that they encircled about him as she sat in front of him, looking up at the trainer that had been rendered so utterly speechless.
Did he like her change? Did he not? What was his issue?
It weren't as if she could ask him in the state she was in, so it was time to change again, a second time.
In another pouf of smoke, the slender Ninetales grew rapidly in height. Much taller than even she had expected as rather suddenly she was nearly eye to eye with Jaden, just a few inches away as her tails still surrounded them as if they were standing in an ephemeral cloud. Beautiful, light brown eyes remained affixed with his as the smoke finally cleared, as she tried to inch closer to study why he was so dumbstruck, she found that she couldn't.
She was pressung up against him already? That didn't make sense. How did-
Oh. Oh dear.
Looking down to find the reason of contact, she quickly realized why. This evolution had caused the little fox to blossom in ways that had turned her from a younger girl, into a young woman. Not only that, but the little red kimono she had always worn, and the chest wrappings she had kept so tight were ill equipped to deal with her new changes. Her hips too, had widened a fair margin, leaving the Kimono bursting at the seams while she practically seemed to almost spill out of it. What had once been deep red hair and tails had transcended into a brilliant platinum blonde, and her hand raised up to lightly touch his cheek whilst they were still hidden in the warmth of her tails, trying to shake him from his stupor.
"Master, wake up and stop staring. Come now, could you find me a set of new garments? I do not think these will suffice any longer." With her change came a change in uer voice, too. What had been higher pitched and sometimes annoying had transformed into a deeper, sultry silk. While he still stared, completely dumbfounded to boot, she bestowed upon him a slight kindness as she leaned forward and pecked the opposite cheek from which her hand still rested, just in an attempt to shake him from his stupor.
"Wakey wakey, c'mon now. We've got to get back on the road, Master. And find ourselves a new clothing store."
(Really bored, felt like doing a spontaneous different version.)
