Tying the last knot with the loose parchment, Vivienne gave a few winces once the bandage was in place on the wound of her thigh.

Damn those sentries and their guns.

She thought to her inner self as she used her might to stand to her full height. The pain hit her, as the randomized bullet rubbed against the flesh of her leg. Vivienne was just about to begin walking towards the door, but before she could even make one step, the latch was already being fiddled with. From the outside!

The brunette cursed silently before making a dart over behind one of the pillars around a large piece of the forging mechanism.

Will stepped into the smithy, looking about with a practiced eye. Something was not right...

Or was it? Perhaps the pirate at large simply made him paranoid. He smiled at how silly he was being and stepped on over to where his master resided, still sleeping away a hangover on his chair. "Right where I left you." he said, and turned about to the forge fire.

Atop the anvil were a few tools that had not been there before, and a pistol he didn't recognize. He squinted, raising an eyebrow inquisitively. "Now how did you get here?" he asked, letting the question hang in the air as he reached for the pistol.

Vivienne didn't move from her spot as she heard what seemed to be one of Port Royal's blacksmiths. She didn't need to get herself caught by the public, but honestly, this new arrival was interesting, as she peeked around the pillar that was just behind the young man looking about.

"Now how did you get here?"

She heard him say, and the only thought she had was: Really? Really? But this thought was on a pause once she noticed him reach for it, probably to observe the mechanism before him. Smoothly, and quietly, the brunette stepped out of her hiding spot, and cautiously walked just a few paces behind him on his right side. Only by several feet.

Sheathing her sword, Vivienne placed the flat of her blade on his right shoulder, just tapping it once to get this young man's attention to not touch her stuff. But she still kept the blade pointed at him.

The slap of the flat of the blade drew his attention and jarred his senses, making him jump back a bit to be confronted by a roguish woman. The confusion on his face lasted for a few moments. Questions formed in his mind, but before he could ask any of them, his mind fell upon the answer to all.

"You're her..." Will declared, resolve settling in his eyes. "The pirate they're looking for."

The brunette held herself down on the floor with one arm being at her side, while the other kept her sword pointed at the young man before her. She didn't say anything as he spoke, saying that she was indeed the one the 'red coats' we're looking for.

Vivienne's expression was cold as she stalked a few steps towards him, with her sword still raised, until her youthful facials softened a little while looking at him up and down with her blue eyes, only keening a little.

"You're an interesting specimen", the pirate observed, her eyes scanning him a little more. "Yet almost familiar. Do I know you?", she curiously asked him, keeping her sword raised, but not as tightly as before.

His visage reddened slightly at the 'interesting' comment. He almost huffed, and shook his head once. "I make a point of avoiding familiarity with pirates." he said, his tone fairly menacing. Will's eyes bored into her, and he was already making his plans of fighting this wench as soon as he could. @AngelBites15

This 'specimen' was giving Vivienne a wave of nostalgia. Something about him looked vaguely familiar. Vaguely. It only made her even more curious, but to the looks of this young man, she didn't let it hover around for too long.

His threat surprised her on the inside, but the brunette kept it casual. "Oh", she drawled in response, eyebrows slightly raised, while slowly letting herself show a small smirk. "Must have mistakened you for someone else, love. It would be a shame to put the black mark on your record now; especially for someone like you", Vivienne explained with a mask of sympathy on her facials.

Lowering her sword a little, she withdrew the silver point from his face, letting her hand dangle on her side. "Now, if you'll excuse me; I won't waste your time", she respectfully concluded before beginning to stride to the backdoor.

He raised an eyebrow as if to say 'are you serious' with the light flirtation, though the glint in his eyes showed he wasn't completely immune to her voluptuous charms or feminine wiles. Still, he was taken aback enough not to interrupt her as she spoke, and he even allowed her to turn away.

That is, until he grabbed one of the exquisite swords set upon the rack. The point of it nearly rested at her back, letting out a 'shing' as he drew it to grab her attention. He held himself in a practiced pose. @AngelBites15

It was true that Vivienne didn't want to waste a professional's time to do their job, including blacksmiths, cooks, merchants, and farmers; that would make her a non-procrastinator. She just wasn't one to begin with.

The flirt was enough, but it wasn't when the brunette heard the sound of a sheathing weapon being drawn. It only made her halt in her steps, and give an annoyed, grim expression to herself at this young man's courage. Keening her blue eyes a little, she turned her upper body around halfway, with her head slowly following it, until her gaze laid upon the silver point of a sword. She was in the smithy, after all.

Flicking her eyes back to the male before her, she felt this action to be pathetic: challenging/threatening a pirate with said weapon. A light mischievous smirk creeped upon her visage, as she turned the rest of her body towards his direction. "You sure you want to do this, love? Cross blades with a pirate?", Vivienne half-teased with curiosity, before allowing her own sword to grind against the steel of his own, while slowly putting herself into a defensive stance. She bored her eyes into his own. "A woman?", she added.

Will raised a posh eyebrow to her coy and roguish advances. It would be quite comical to any watching, but his master was asleep and would likely be if a Cannon was discharged near his head. He pressed the point of his blade more pointedly at her, and his gaze grew more determined once again. "You threatened Miss Ashe." he said simply.

Vivienne's bored into his own, giving a half-coy smile. "Only a little", she responded as a matter-of-fact. "After all, she did the same to me", she added to her point. The girl technically did do the same, and that was where the amusing part was: someone younger to threaten her. The brunette remembered the girl's face, and her confident spirit, and that only made Vivienne become more fond of her. She was silent, until she let her sword be swiped in his direction; starting high, then low.

The young blacksmith was confused by her initial statement, but that did nothing to deter his concentration to the sword work at hand. Will parried and then ducked nonchalantly. Once more the blades swished by one another. The two swordspeoples gave practice blows, parries, and dodges. Will was not discouraged, but this pirate was no slouch he had to admit.

High, then low. Low to high. That was the pattern they simultaneously went by in pattern: Parries, dodges, blows, then repeat. In the beginning, Vivienne advanced on the male with her strikes. But when she noticed him advancing in retaliation, the brunette had to reconsider that he was, most definitely, not an amateur.

Backing up, while dodging and parrying with his strikes, Vivienne made a hiss of pain with a grit of her teeth, when the injury upon her high-leg flared. It was enough to make her lose her balance a little, until she knocked her lower back into the worktable behind her.

Maybe if she played around with this man, Vivienne could easily decide whether or not he would potentially be trusting, and even worth sparing. So, with that, she waited for his next move. With the table behind her, it could get fun.

Will advanced once more, and gave a good two swipes for good measure. Somehow, the woman was able to dodge them. It didn't matter too much, he wasn't finished yet. He'd be damned if he let a pirate escape, no matter how sultry they were. Though, whenever he had daydreamed fighting a pirate, he'd never quite pictured the corsair to be a woman.
She was now pressed back to the workbench. He gave a thrust as he found the advantage seemed to be his, his face bespoke concentration. He briefly wondered if finishing her off would be moral, however.

Obviously in a spot that had no easy route, Vivienne decided to take a detour; as the male gave a mighty thrust, practically aiming for a part of her body, the brunette slid down to the floor, forming a split with her legs, allowing herself to duck, while letting his sword hit the wood of the workbench.

He was pushing it, she thought while letting herself rolled away from him, and towards the huge forging mechanism nearby, which seemed to be holding all of the newly-forged weaponry upon its belt.

Standing just a few feet away from him, Vivienne gazed at him. "I can see you know what you're doing. Fantastic display", she complimented him, before looking at him challengingly, mainly to intimidate him. "But once again, love: you are between me, and my way out", she keened her blue eyes, and putting herself in a defensive stance, she smirked mischievously. "Shall we dance?"

Will eyed her incredulously. "I don't know whether to cut you or buy you a drink..." he said, then lowered his brow. "If you weren't a pirate."

With that, he moved forward and struck her, his blade blocked by her sword. The next few moments was a series of the two sword wielders going back and forth between the spinning clockwise mechanism that held all of his swords. Sparks flew as the swords met. "Good luck beating me." he boasted, then spun to the other side and hacked at her. "I've made all of these swords, and practice 3 hours a day."

Vivienne was already becoming amused by this man, who seemingly had the courage to take back an equal share of charm. All she could do was smirk as he charged.

Sparks flew; she hit high and low, while he striked back in equal measure. All in all, it was the same pattern...except for the giant wheel running between them. Grabbing one of the blades above, she threw it at him with force, only missing, with him being able to dodge it. The male now jumping onto the spinning machine between them, Vivienne was slightly getting frustrated to not lay a mark upon him, but in admittance, his skill was cutting.

"You made all these?!", the brunette yelled, somewhat amazed while taking a quick glance at the blades, before going back to keeping up with his strikes. Three hours a day?, she thought, internally groaning, before jumping onto the spinner, taking his place. "You really need to find yourself a girl, love", she remarked with a wicked smile.

He did his best to ignore that little stab. Will had always had feelings for Elizabeth, but she had been so cold and distant lately. He was not in her league either, and he knew it. She was a much better match for the newly anointed Commodore but, he could dream. Still, this wench had no right to tell him what to do with his life.
His blade struck and locked with hers, and he eyed her. "I practice for 3 hours a day because when I meet a pirate, I can kill it!"@AngelBites15

Vivienne knew that the more she pushed it, the more she could get inside his head, and find out what makes him tick. That last comment she made towards him probably went a little too far in the young man's boundary. Dodging a powerful swing, the brunette almost got herself struck in the face by the greatly-finished blade.

They were swinging at each other now, until her blade locked onto his own. Surprisingly, she could feel his strength from the performed action, once they forcefully intersected. Her hand suddenly snatched itself onto the tied-collar of his shirt, to make her face be closer to his own, while they kept their blades in an x-formation between them. "Or, maybe because you already found one, and can't woo said-strumpet?", Vivienne was practically taunting him again, although it was meant to be a curious question. Who was the girl?

Hearing his declaration of bleakness, Vivienne knew he was angry, so she let the question go, and let go of him, practically jumping away, and launching herself onto a teeter-cart nearby.

With that comment he gave a growl, and slashed at the woman, only for her to bound away. She decided to make her refuge on a teeter cart. Will happily leaped up with her, intent on finishing this fight once and for all. They both seemed to lose their balance a bit with both of their weights on there, but eventually they righted themselves and steel began to ring once more as they commence. Will pressed his attack, his sword a blur.@AngelBites15
