Alright, I'll probably keep playing then, but I'll respond before going to bed.

Hey, is Roland going to respond to Sabine, or...?

Sorry, I really didn't know what to have him say, since I don't know who he talked to.

Muttonhawk Let Slip the Corgis of War

Eh, I guess it was more of a lead-in thing. I had Caleb assume that Roland was going to talk to someone for whatever reason (possibly the person he was hiding from), but he may not have at that point. Sabine doesn't know that he may not have talked yet, so she assumed that he had done so already and was asking about it because it was mildly associated with Caleb. I think I tangled it up a bit.

Anyway, it's no big deal. I'm kind of having trouble finding ways to continue that scene. Sabine is probably not going to have the confidence to pull Caleb away and confess any feelings, and Sabine's friends are just simple characters at this point. I don't really have plans for them.

Did you have anything planned for Roland?

Not really. The point of the scene was pretty much to give a visual of how Sabine has changed, and in what direction she may continue to change over the next few years. Though, I did intend on having Meesei speak to Sabine alone after they all leave the pool. You could timeskip that if you like.

As for Ahnasha, she's going to study that dark tome, and Kaleeth of course is still in the middle of the conversation with Janius

Lorag ended up being the odd man out. I had an idea to have him duel Kaleeth during her demonstration, but that would have made quite long posts even longer. At the very least, I do have plans for him in the future, after the skip. A subplot for him.

So to remind me, what was the specific thing that happened with Caleb and Meesei?

Sorry, I had a thing I needed to do for a little while.

Caleb and Meesei's interactions have been fairly limited. Meesei was present when Caleb was told of his father Jerrick's death, and they spoke briefly after Caleb's attempt on Oswall's life. It's common knowledge at this point that Jerrick died while Meesei was watching over him.

Since we seem to be getting close to that point, I started working on the skip. Do you mind if I say how the clan changes through the years in that? It would go by the plans I've already had Meesei give. The clan would slowly restructure to be less fragmented, and expand its influence in terms of economics. She would look to get connections and resources to better be able to fight against Vile. Particularly information. They would connect with the other clans throughout Tamriel, with the intent of essentially forming an organized network that stretches across the continent.

Yep, sure. I was going to mention a detail that one of the clans they tried to reach out to had been destroyed somehow by Vile, that's about it.

So, the timelines are slightly out of sync. I decided to skip over Janius' conversations with Fendros and Oswall as they would have probably resulted in a short story in and of themselves.

I'm guessing that Meesei and Sabine would have settled into a schedule for training over the skip, right?

Did you want to start the timeskip in your next post, or should I lead the skip off?

I can start the timeskip...which will be a rather large post.

I think there are some things we need to decide now. Off the top of my head, how things have gone with Ahnasha, Fendros, and the meetings with Najirra. Who will be in control of Rhazii? He will be a little over three. Same with Kaleeth and Janius' hatchling (we also need a name and gender for that one).

Hmm...

I would say that after three years of weekly sessions, unless Ahnasha and Fendros had a severe falling out with Najirra (which would probably require a scene of its own), they would be in a position where they're doing regular exercises to help themselves regulate and their trauma wouldn't define their behaviour so easily. They will still have episodes from time to time, especially if their memories are triggered by something, but they would be able to sleep properly again. That's my best guess. It's possible that Ahnasha and/or Fendros would continue to have serious trouble if you wanted, but with such a prolonged period of staying still, it would begin to dip into the realms of severe depression for them. As an aside, Fendros is going to make the effort to learn some Ta'agra when Rhazii begins to speak.

I'll take control of one or both of the children, whatever you feel like. As for Kaleeth and Janius' kid in particular, I can flip a coin again. Realistically, their interactions as defacto siblings will only really matter with gender once they get a few years older, and I'm not sure how much of the rest of their lives we'll be playing out in this RP. Janius is probably going to refer to the new child with a nickname to fill the space between then and his name day.

Sabine bears mentioning, it will take another couple of weeks for her to gather the courage to open up to Caleb, but she'll unfortunately be rejected. Caleb has too many issues of his own. This will cause Sabine to withdraw and cry for a while, but playing that out would just be the pack offering support and comfort. She might try and have another relationship, but at her age, she's bound to make some mistakes and not have it last. By the end of the three years, Sabine probably will have become a pretty good mage. She is also going to come of age, so maybe that could be a ceremony to end the skip with.

That's the top of my head as well. Is there anything else?

Works for me. I was going to toss a coin anyway.

I did have some plans for Rhazii in the future, though I don't know if it would be best for me to control him, or you. One of us should probably have Rhazii, and the other the hatchling. Which would you like? Also, did you have a nickname in mind?
