What is CynderTynder™?
Idealistically, CynderTynder™ will act as an anonymous matchmaking system for members of the Guild whether it'd be used to find new friends, Roleplay partners, or possibly an online date! As presumed by the title of the topic, I (Cynder) will be the one entirely in charge of this project.
Why was CynderTynder™ made? Where does it come from?
The concept for CynderTynder™ began thanks to a user named Kuroneko who offered the name to me when I decided that I wanted to make a system for 1x1 Roleplayers to find one another (this tool would later be ran by myself and @RomanAria). Eventually, I decided against that name (not wanting to focus that system on myself) and instead chose the title of "Partner Supermatch™". I would later revisit CynderTynder™ after I took control of the Official RPG Crush Thread in which it was mentioned briefly as a joke - one that, might I add, I had zero intention of doing anything with.
Months later, I continued to mostly forget about it aside from it occasionally be brought up by Guild and Discord users alike. Recently, I decided to "cave" to these casual mentions and actually push for the system. Even now as I finalize the project, I do feel a little anxiety that this will crash and burn, but I might as well ride it in the meantime. With a little luck and hard work, I hope that this tool will be beneficial to someone and possibly even successful as a whole.
How does CynderTynder™ work?
CynderTynder™ is meant to work as simply as its spiritual predecessor, Partner Supermatch™ and that is exactly how it'll work: simply. CynderTynder™ only requires a few moments of your time in order to fill out one of the three applications below (you may send in one, two, or all three applications if you so wish). From there, I will put your application in one of the databases below and send you a PM once I find someone that I believe may be a match for you! In the meantime, you are more than welcomed to browse through the three databases and message me if one catches your eye. I'll be more than willing to arrange something if the other member happily complies.
I want to join! How do I?
Excellent! After all, CynderTynder™ can only thrive from the participation of members of the Guild. As for your question, joining the project is very simple: all you have to do is fill out one of the applications provided below. From here, you will send your application me via PM and once accepted, your application can be found anonymously posted in one of the databases below.
Why choose anonymity?
Well, why not? It will certainly make CynderTynder™ to be more entertaining and exciting. Not even that, you may find yourself to be friends with someone that you may have never expected! If you find yourself being worried that you may be matched with someone who may be unfriendly, "abusive", or well-known for being a jerk, then let me know! I'll be glad to avoid matching you with any specific individuals and if you are matched with someone who acts that way, then please send me screenshots and I'll be more than happy to remove and ban them from the project.
