Hello everyone! How is everyone doing this morning? My name is MayLien. I came across this lovely forum from the key master that was Shoryu Magami and showed me the inter-galactic portal to the realm of vivid imaginations and festering dark secrets pouring from the foul reaches of gray matter that is our brains. Sticky. Not sure what I just wrote, but one thing you can take away from that is that Shoryu and I know each other.

I haven't RP'ed in a long while. I do have an itch to scratch and wouldn't using this place as my back scratcher. Glancing around the forums, I would say that I'd be more of a casual RP'er, rather than an advanced RP'er. I can hardly come up with enough posting material to basically write a chapter in one post, like my cohort. To be more accurate, I could probably post a volume of text in a couple posts and then just lack content to write in others. I am willing to expand my skills and hopefully articulate well my stories and characters. I'm interested in using fancy words, like word-of-the-day words from dictionary websites to expand my vocabulary. If you have any fancy words to feed me with, please do. My spoon is ready to scoop them up.

Well, you got my name wrong, but then again you were tired. Unless you did that deliberately, in which case I'll have a bone to pick with you later. Also, "Sho-time"? Really...? You had to put that old joke here? Oh well.

As they already made obvious, we know each other. Not in person or anything, but they've been a part of my Guardian Ascension RP forums circle for a little over 10 years, and we didn't meet right away, so that should emphasize what I mean when I say it's been a while since I started doing this. For anyone who happens to have checked my user profile, I just want to make a point that this isn't the fiancé I've mentioned. Thought I'd make that clear before anyone started getting weird ideas.

Anyway, welcome to the guild, mate. I'll be working on the Guardian Ascension RP forums in the background, so I guess we'll just see where this site takes us, but it does give you another place to unrust, per se, similar to what I need to do, while I try to get the new place I know you're waiting for ready.

Ooh! I did get your name wrong, Sho. *edits* Yes, I started to get drunk with the Z's and drifted off to slumber. Sometimes when I get drunk, I dream of being my characters. *hic* I wanted to at least get an introduction out there so I can see how many enthusiastic members would reply to this thread. Though, it's only been about 5-6 hours since I made the post and woke up. *yawns* I'm a little hung over. So, I'm excited to see a whooping one member replying and giving feeding me a word! Yay! *hugs*

So then, I've checked today's word of the day from the dictionary. It's funny to see this word and meaning. I hope forum members don't give a dilatory response or welcome. *smiles... Edited that several times*

Honestly, this is sort of the quiet time for the site from what I've experienced (the hours since you left). There's at least a couple of other people I imagine would've welcomed you if they saw you, based on the patterns I'm picking up here. It's usually a lot more lively after I've woken up, from what I can tell. Speaking of which, I'd normally be heading off to sleep over an hour ago unless I was busy working on something that couldn't wait, but I can stay on a bit longer if you want to go over that information I sent you through PM.

Anyway, not that I want to encourage spam or anything, but that might be the sort of place for people posting exactly what you're doing right now, although that would make it arguably the most "productive" topic in that channel of the site.

I wouldn't say there's a specific time, but from what I've seen I have a rogue idea when certain people show up and when others do. Perhaps someone else can fill you in more on that if there's an ideal point in the day I haven't witnessed. There's definitely more active times than others, although while there is usually around 100-200 members at any given time on the site, I don't see a lot of them posting.
