Ahem, sorry. So this means my accumulation of loot-boxes-to-be-opened shall commence!

I bought 24 loot boxes. And as it turns out, you can buy the event's loot with currency now! Blizzard realized how unhappy it made the fans to make the Summer Games skins exclusive to loot boxes. Some people just don't have good luck (aka me. I got Lucio's Seleção skin 4 times. I don't even play Lucio). So, if there's a skin or an emote or something that you want that you don't get with loot boxes, you can save up currency and buy them! I'm very happy with it.

Thankfully, I got most of the skins I wanted from the loot boxes, then with the currency I got from the duplicates and from the currency drops, I got the only other skin I wanted that I didn't get from the boxes; Reinhardt's. I'm a Reinhardt main, but I loooove all of the skins. Also, you should take a look at the unique emotes and highlight intros! They're great!

And Ana's Trick or Treat spray is unbelievably adorable. It made me go "awwww" aloud.

3000 for Mercy's costume though! My god haha! I like that though. I don't have too much time to get on and game, so that's definitely the better option for me. The in-game currency stuff. As a Mercy and D.Va main on comp, I'm so stoked haha! I wish that D.Va had something though. My friend and I were thinking a ghost costume or something. But whatever haha!

Oh I've looked at everything ... I have xD! Reinhardt is great! So many awesome saves during some comps I've played. You either get a really good Rein or a really crappy one. The rage is real when they suck though ... especially when I'm Mercy healing behind one, and they can't coordinate :[!

I have to look into that one! I'm actually trying to main Ana. She seems really versatile, if you're good at aiming :]!

I am on the NA servers! Are you a PSN, Microsoft, or Computer player? I don't think you can have spaces xD!

I don't play Mercy much unless I absolutely have to, so I'm not going to waste the currency on a skin I'll never use. Won't complain if I get it out of a loot box though. I got D.Va's gaming emote from one of the 24 I got. Don't really play her either, but the emote is definitely cool.

Believe me, I sit there and judge other Reinhardts when they aren't playing as well as I would. I'm no pro, but I like to think I know what I'm doing, you know?

Ana is so hard to play effectively. I've always enjoyed the challenge and I love her design and lore. Her Halloween skin is pretty cool!

I'm on PC. Usually I'm actually a console gamer when it comes to FPS, but I have more friends who play on PC. It can suck to play solo. So I adjusted and learned the ropes of a PC FPS, and I'm probably better at Overwatch on PC than I ever would be on console. I've played console shooters since I picked up a controller as a child. Call of Duty was my daily thing up until I bought Overwatch.

Haha! Well, not many like to play support. Not too many opportunities for POTG though I've had some moments. I think if I don't play either of those, I COD it up with Soldier.

I hear ya. I do the same thing with D.Va and Mercy.

The hard part is the sniper aspect of her. It's not typical compared to that of the other healer characters. But her nano boast? In comp? Lord and mercy have pity on the soul who gets tagged by it.

Ah gotcha. I'm actually building a PC. Long process. So frustrated, but it's almost done haha!

My day is good. Got a lot of projects and stuff that need to be wrapped up. Yours?

I love wrecking everything when I get nanoboosted while playing Reinhardt. Angry German man swinging his hammer at anything that moves? What could go wrong? *charges off a cliff with an enemy*

I bought a good gaming PC from Ironside Computers because I don't have the knowhow nor the time to learn how to build one of my own. It was worth the price. $800 for the tower, with an extra $100 for a new monitor since my old one's base was cracking. It was long overdue.

I can run every game I'd ever want to play on high graphic settings. Most of the games I play aren't super graphically demanding anyways.

It's a day off for me. I did a few chores and have been asleep for a few hours. Just woke up randomly. I don't usually sleep well. Wake up a lot.

And I'm having a lot of fun with this! I haven't been this engaged in a roleplay for quite a while. Not that previous RPs I've had or any of the current ones I'm doing are bad, but this one just has so much more substance to it. It's satisfying.

Yup, that always happens. Even a nice earth shaker to trip everyone up. If you're quick enough, it's a turkey shoot haha! It's a terrible way to die too ...

Yeah, I was thinking about doing that too. I didn't think I wanted to build one, but I thought what the hell. I've grown to appreciate those pieces of hardware much more. Seriously.

So, I'm upgrading from a computer that's 9 years old. I can't wait to see the difference from low graphics to high. Super stoked.

Very nice! I wish I had a day off. I'm sloggin' through the day. Almost done though. Super excited about that! I have weekend shifts though.
