I seem to be having some problems with it...

I think this will answer your question. I'm not sure why it was closed or who closed it, but that was more or less the point of the topic. For all intents and purposes, there's no clear way to do that on this site yet. It's part of the coding that's basically missing.

I've been interested in reading the stuff you plan to write up about clichés/tropes, because I have the feeling you and I have some similar views related to them and I was planning on posting my thoughts on the matter as well if it's an open topic. If it is, make sure I know about it when it happens. If you had given up on writing it, I was going to do it myself actually.

@Shoryu Magami I did see your thread however it told me "no" when people were doing it. I did look at the link provided on that specific thread and I did find it useful for special characters and color which was super cool.

I did figure out the size thing to some degree thanks to a friend. I hope you find it helpful Shoryu.

@Shoryu Magami There's another option: we can co-write the article together, if you want. ;)

I choose to do the coding one first after seeing numerous threads asking for people to showcase their completed CS coding sheets for them to copy-pasta without even understanding how the code works. I feel that different RPs would require different sheet styles and formats, so people should learn the basics and work out their own CS that fits their RP best rather than "stealing" premades mindlessly.

@tsukune The link that's on the thread Shoryu sent me is an awesome link for symbols and colors and design ideas without actually being a template. 9; you do follow the idea (a good one by the way) of providing designs and codes, 8: recommend also providing special characters to encourage personalized designs of signatures as well.

Just my two cents on the matter.

Yep, I did notice that part of the coding, which is why I was able to slightly use text sizing for my bio I'm working on in my user profile, but it's very limited and there's still no way of altering the font without copy/pasting it from other places on the forum. I'm definitely in agreement about wanting there to be more coding so people can personalize their signatures and posts easier.

@SinfulSkills Ah no I'm not talking about the link that Shoryu has provided, which is just showing an archive of special characters that you can copy-pasta (because honestly no one wants to google them for the unicodes every time you need to use them). I'm talking about a full-coded post for not just character sheets but also interest checks and OOC notes. Shameless self-plug here, but you can check my CS archive (link is under my glorious FFXV sig) to see some samples which I'll be using to illustrate in the article. :)

And yes, le me full throttle on the FFXV hype!

Like he said though, @SinfulSkills, it's an entirely different topic he's working on creating.

I'll agree to the Final Fantasy XV hype. Game's looking really good so far. I plan to save my judgements for it until after I play though, since I've been following the updates on it ever since the Final Fantasy XIII: Versus days, and some elements that they changed with this transition were a bit questionable to me. Overall it looks good though, and unlike a lot of people I actually enjoyed Kingsglaive.

A few people have mentioned the [ sub ] Example [ /sub ] code to me, and I see a few people using it in their signatures, so it does make me wonder; do you have any idea why it's not working properly whenever I try to use it to shrink the quotes in my signature? It basically just all turns into a cluttered mess of gibberish where all the words shrink but end up merging together onto a single line instead of being separate lines.

Cheers, both of you. Now I'll see if I can use it to fit all my quotes in while still managing to have all the important links I want to add to my signature. If it doesn't all fit, I'll just forget about the quotes and leave them in my bio. I was planning to create a proper banner and quote for my signature that was more directly based off my story project eventually anyway.
