"You are correct. Victor is currently the most experienced member of your team in terms of the infected and he is an expert biologist. He's the best we could get in terms of understanding the mutation." The Colonel explained, with a nod from Victor nearby.

"Now then, that's enough for the briefing. All of you, suit up and board the chopper, go go go!" The Colonel barked, pointing to the nearby door leading to the armoury. Their various packs and weapons would be awaiting them there. Beyond that was the helipad atop the ship, a standard military helicopter awaiting them.

Jarrod strode to the door and pushed it open. He made his way to the armory and geared up. He pulled on his field outfit and hefted his pack. His machete was strapped to the side of it and his trench bowie lay on top of it. He strapped the knife to his right thigh before making his way to a gun rack. He pulled an M9, its holster and the extra clips from the rack. He strapped the pistol to his left hip, cross-draw style and placed the clips into pouches on his belt. He hefted an AR-15 from it's hooks and slung the strap over his shoulder. He picked up 4 extra clips for the rifle and placed them into pouches on his vest. Once he was geared up, Jarrod made his way to the chopper. He synced up his radio.
"Codename, Leo, ready to roll." he hoped the rest of the team could hear him through their radios.

Nissa got her rubber-tight suit on, and despite the likely looks she would get - it was likely the most, agile and bite-proof suit around. She even pulled a similar balacava over her head, which covered her hair at that.

Before she got her sniper and soon headed out towards the chopper, ready to kick ass. "Anybody comments, on my ass - gets a bullet to the ass, when we touch down on the ground," she added.

It didn't take long for Kimi to prepare. She knew what she needed for the mission, and found it and packed it all quickly and neatly. Once she was finished, she sat there quietly for a moment, and slowly breathed in and out. She was nervous, of course she was nervous. Who wouldn't be? But at the same time, she knew what she was capable of, and she knew she'd be able to complete the mission with ease. All she had to do was calm her nerves and focus.

"...Codename, Alix, ready to roll," Kimi replied through the radio when she heard Leo.

...

"Let's hope the the undead are a perverted bunch then," Kimi commented towards Nissa once she made it out with the rest of the squad. "As long as you can hit a target, you can wear two stickers and a post-it note for all I care."

"Codename Nightlocke, ready." Victor Mane said quickly, having suited up in a hazmat suit, complete with a helmet covering his face and some semblances of body around on the outside. He picked up a simple M17 pistol and pocketed it, along with a KG9 Submachine gun, plus ammo packs.

"Codename Howitzer, oui." Joan Galliard geared up, dressing in heavy flak attire with a face guard helmet for her explosive protection. Alongside that, she took an ICS-190 Grenade Launcher and a Star Model 14 pistol at her side.

"Codename Shinto." Akagi Tetsuno confirmed before he dressed himself, somewhat lighter attire than the rest of them with a simple combat vest, boots and wrapping a sash around his head. He geared up with a simple but effective M4 and his personal choice of knuckle dusters as an alternative.

"Codename Seacole." Another familiar face stepped up beside the rest of them, their German field medic Anna Schultz. She put on relatively light attire, packing herself down with medical supplies and a simple tactical 12 gauge shotgun should she ever need to defend herself. The medic was somewhat pretty, light blonde hair kept in a tight bun behind her head and a soft face with pretty blue eyes. It was hardly a wonder she'd been picked for BACTIS.

Once they'd all compiled into the helicopter, their pilot shut the doors and began to take off, the heavy mechanical vehicle picking up air as it elevated off of the ship's top before flying out over the ocean toward their destined goal.

They were off... and all that awaited them, was their target.

Time: 12:30.
Location: Barcelona, Spain.

The chopper touched down atop a small flat open rooftop in the middle of downtown, the pastel colours of the local buildings standing out in the sunshine... unfortunately it also made the rising plumes of fire and smoke from nearby car wrecks and signs of mayhem all the uglier. There wasn't much in the ways of undead or anything that looked to be moving... for the time being. How they proceeded from here would be their decision. There was road below them and a number of ways they could go, once they were at street level.

"Good luck!" their pilot called out to them before he took off, leaving them in the dead of town.

When the chopper landed, the first thing Leo noticed was how desolate the streets were. Cars were overturned and buildings were on fire. They had landed about 300 feet behind the quarantine line. "Alright laddies. Lets get this show on the road. HQ said the local PD set up a line a few blocks away. I'll take point, Howitzer, you should cover our ass. Tundra, Nightlocke, i wouldnt mind the company up front. Everyone else should keep their eyes peeled. Christ knows these things can pop out of anywhere. Once we make it to the Line, It'll be your show Nightlocke." Leo checked his rifle clip and made sure his pistol had a round in the chamber before stepping onto the cracked pavement and signaling to keep tight and head up.

(Oh for the love of hairy beavers)

"I think you need your brain checked-out, dummie," replied Nissa aka Tundra. "Or didn't the skimpy suit and large rifle, not state that I am likely NOT front-line combat."

She quickly headed for higher ground, while muttering about stupid, beer-drinking redneck, schoolboy - along the way. She easily got some ground on that, climbing up one fire escape and getting a good radius check on them. "Okay. No zeds in the vicinity. Although, we have activity roughly five-hundred meters ahead."

"Oi!" Leo called in through his radio. "We havent even made it to the quarantine zone yet. You planning on just sitting up on a roof top, blocks away from where you need to be, listening to us die? And by the way, i'm Irish. Not American. If you're going to insult me, at least call me a Mick instead of a redneck." Red in the face and seething. "Seeing as how no one seems to want to work as a team here, I'll meet you lot at the QZ." Jarrod took off at a run, jumping through the broken window of a building that acted as a shortcut instead of walking the city streets.
