Her naturally black hair, recently died a honey blonde color, when straightened, falls to her shoulders after its recent cut. Her eyes were hazel, and without doubt the most captivating aspect of her appearance, reflecting a look of wisdom far beyond her age that could not help but draw people in. Almost every day, Alana "beats" her face, enhancing her beauty in any and every way she can. Alana weighs about 150 lbs, and has a curvy figure. She has a helix piercing, a conch piercing, a tragus piercing, and a lobe piercing in her left ear. She has three lobe piercings on her right ear as well as tragus and daith piercings. Alana's style of dress can be summarized as "Urban Fashion." Urban Fashion is edgy and reflects lifestyle, attitudes and individuality. She has a new hairstyle every couple of weeks. Because she's never really had much money, a lot of her clothes were given to her from friends and her brother. She also goes to thrift shops to find clothes that she can make her own, and you could never tell that they were hand me downs. She has a few things in her wardrobe that costed a bit of money, from when her brother decided to spoil her or she had some extra money. Her wardrobe mainly consists of skinny & boyfriend jeans, denim shorts, graphic T's, leather and bomber jackets, Vans, Jordan's, and a dirty pair of white air-force ones. She always accessorizes with rings, chokers, and extra large hoop earrings. You'd typically see her in a pair of ripped skinny jeans with a plain T-shirt and a pair of matching sneakers.
Traits that define your character
β¦ Quiet β¦ Competitive β¦ Trustworthy β¦ Confrontational β¦
Sexuality: Bisexual
Personality: Having grown up with a large number of male friends and an older brother, Alana is considered to be a "Tomboy." When going to the park, for instance, she'd rather get sticky and sweaty by playing a game of basketball or jogging around than sit and "tan" with her girlfriends. She's prefers to keep to herself and stay quiet, but when in a confident mood can be very charismatic and outgoing. It is very easy for someone like Alana to make friends, and it's
hard for someone to ever really dislike her. She's competitive, on and off the court, but will never come off as arrogant. Once you get to know her, you see that she is a very humble, caring, intelligent, and trustworthy individual. She has a past, along with a few quirks, as does every other human being, but makes up for them by being an overall fun and generally happy person to be around. More often than not, however, she would rather spend time to herself, writing, reading, and listening to reggae.

History: Alana was born into the Carter family in Brooklyn, NY. Although her family was poor, her single mother tried her hardest to give Alana and her older brother a normal life. Their father had left the family before Alana was born, when her brother was five years old. (
"He cheated on my moms with some skinny ass white broad and moved to Cali. Good riddance.") She'd receive letters and postcards from him every year for her birthday, but left them in a box under her bed, unopened. Although never having the "pleasure" of meeting her father, Alana knew how much of a deadbeat he was based on everything she'd learned from her mother and brother, Terrance.
Ever since she was a little girl, Alana has been an avid basketball fan. Every chance she got, she would play and attend basketball games with her guy-friends, slowly but surely starting to fall in love with the game. At the age of eight, she'd finally convinced her mother to let her play on a team, and the rest was history. Alana grew up to be the star player on her high school team, playing the position of point guard. Everyone, including her coach, expected great things of her; they all just knew that one day she'd make it to the WNBA. Her mother, however, was pushing her to go to college. She didn't see any future for Alana as a ball player, instead wishing for her to become a doctor or lawyer. She constantly pushed her to do her best in school, and practically forced her to join many clubs and school organizations. She'd even signed her up for dance classes, which she actually grew to enjoy.
The world she knew came crashing down on June 16th, 2006. It was the last day of school, therefore they'd been let out of class early. Alana rode the subway home, as normal, arriving shortly before her brother. It was unusually quiet when she entered the house; her mother should have been getting ready to leave for work. Upon entering her mother's room, Alana saw that she was still laying in bed. She tried to shake her awake; if she wasn't awake within a few minutes, she'd be late for work. Alana shook as hard as she could, but her mother didn't move an inch. It was in that moment Alana realized that her mother was not breathing. Later on in her life she came to find out that her mother had stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer is often diagnosed at a late stage because it tends not to show symptoms early on, and because of this, the cancer was incurable.
After her mother's death, Alana and Terrance moved to Tycoon City to live with their grandparents. Alana was able to join the high school basketball team and work her way up again, which resulted in her earning a scholarship to college. Wanting to somewhat obey her mother's wishes, she decided to major in psychology.
