Apologies everyone, social life got the better of me this weekend in ways I just did not anticipate, will rectify the situation ASAP. Gotta head to bed now as it's getting late, but once I get up, I'll re-catch up on everything so far and take us ahead to the mission proper! Sorry again for the delays!

Good enough to give me a springboard to jump us into the action. I was waiting to see if anyone had anything to post, but doesn't seem like it. Either way, I'll get us ahead to the mission proper next post (whether that'll happen tonight or tomorrow remains to be seen). Lost story short for any of my delays until Nov. 30th (That @ONL already knows about)- A streaming service here in Canada that offers a lot of great shows not available on our Netflix is going offline on November 30th, so I'm trying to cram in as much as possible before then. Right now I'm near the end of the 2nd season of Vikings (only the first 3 are on here), after that I've got 1 13-episode season of a show called 12 Monkeys and 7 seasons (thankfully short, though I may still not finish it all) of a comedy called The League. Both come highly recommended from some friends, so it's unlikely I'll watch a few and then go 'this isn't for me' and drop them. I will be keeping up with the rp though, so never fear!

Been a hectic week here, been helping my father with renovations and haven't had much time to myself, but yeah I was a bit surprised to see only a couple posts on here. I'm ready to move ahead if everyone else is.

Stealing a moment before bed to post because this rp crossed my mind earlier this evening. I'm hoping to finally get back on track tomorrow, I have a few errands to run in the morning, and then, fingers crossed, I'll be back to my boring everyday life of sleeping in til noon, bouncing between binge watching tv shows, video games, writing, and, of course, replying to RPs!

Must be nice.
I sleep until 6, wake the kids, get them to school, do an hour of Kickboxing or Krav Maga, work at a friend's legal practice for a few hours, get the kids from school and then begin the shuttle service of driving kids to their extracurricular activities (Scouts, Dance and Karate), then TV with the wife until I fall asleep around 11 or 12. Responding to RPs, (in character) occurs Friday through Monday when wife is working.

I do remember when life was like that, but that was a looong time ago. :(

Here I am at 8:10 in the morning waiting to take kids to school. OOC posts can be made anytime.

@Gunther It gets pretty boring after a point. I'd love to get back to work, but with the economy, it seems like it's still a ways off. It's been about 6 months since I was laid off, but that's the nature of things when the entire Canadian economy is based in oil, massive highs where companies are hiring trades people before they even finish school, and the long, long recessions, where fairly inexperienced fellas like me can't get a taste of the few jobs that do exist.

Well that is a whole different twist on things. When I had time to play video games for days, I at least had a job. If I could afford you, I'd give you a job, but it would be quite a long commute. I live in Southeastern Massachusetts. You'd have to learn to like the Bruins. ;)

@Gunther Haha appreciate it man, but like you said, it'd be quite the commute. And my friends and extended family would kill me if I stopped being a Leafs fan.... we don't even live in Toronto, it's just the norm here. I think the mayor (my uncle) is actually trying to make it a bylaw that all residents are Leafs fans hahaha
