Breaks in the age bracket are fine if you are not supposed to be around the kid's age. And point form is OKAY, but, if you could figure out a way to not, that'd be even better.

Flame:Flame of Peace (Sky and Rain((I only see this as an option because of the flame of wrath.)))
Weapon/Fighting Style: Currently just fists, feet, Knees and elbows.
Appearance: She is normally seen in skater regalia throughout her life, even from the age of 14 years young. This trend continues when she grows up and becomes 24 years old. Normally her hair is left free to blow in the wind, but when she feels things are serious she ties it back except for a strand that will fall in her face. Her skin is pale and is covered in microscars causing it to appear to be even more pale than it actually is.
Personality: If you were to ask her where she is from she would tell you Earth. She tends to be very relaxed. If the world throws her into a river while she is skating, oh well. She would begin swimming until she found herself on shore again and start skating again. Go with the flow life is too short to worry about. Those who see what she really is like are her friends not even her family sees more than the outer shell. Those that she considers allies see her stronger side. She is a very independent girl. Her independence has lead her to be very stubborn. Her stubbornness has lead to her getting into things that her body really can't handle. She takes challenges very seriously. Her greatest wish is to fly among the birds even if only for a moment. Even when she is being stubborn her feathers don't ruffle. The only time that she actually gets upset is if someone is being threatened.
History: She was born in London, England. When she was 1 year old her parents divorced her father was a very laid back man who just let life guide him. He was the one who received custody over her. Her mother moved to the states. Most of her life she was taught by her father as they would only be in one town two or three weeks at a time, and only in a country about six months before moving on to a new one. She took after her father in every way. His attitude about things reached her. Because she was learning everywhere her education is actually very diverse.
She learned things in person that most people saw in a book. She was taught the history of Japan by an older Japanese lady who was watching her while her father was hiking up mount Fuji. She learned to cook from a family in India who allowed them to stay there. In Australia she learned to fight from a kangaroo wrangler. Everywhere they went though ever since she was old enough to skate there was once constant in her life. Love of the wind on her face. Love of the Earth beneath her and love of motion. She learned things about skating everywhere she went at least one group of people were skating.
When she was nine her father decided it was time to put down some real roots. He remarried a woman in Venice. Since then she has lived in Venice it wasn't until she was 13 though that he put her in a real school. To her school was boring they didn't have the stories that the people there did, she knew more about the world that this book could ever give them. She wanted world experience not books filled with knowledge that was missing everything. It was rice without the curry.
Overview: Angel is a short white haired skater girl who was raised by a nomadic father. She learned about the world by traveling with her father around the world. No matter what, her bag has her inline skates and her helmet. She is a very laid back girl not caring about school, because to her it isn't the way to learn. Around most she is very relaxed but she is actually incredibly stubborn.

Word of warning; Sol and I were discussing things and we were saying that about 95% of our characters will be normal people in the beginning, except for those that actually are in the Mafia.

So, would just plain guardians need to start in the mafia, like me, or would they just be normal people who get the rings later?

Would that mean I have to rework the concept I'm thinking of? The one I mentioned earlier about some vaguely-defined Flame Bacteria from an experiment corrupting a Sun-user into a Cloud/Mist-user.

...Of course I could probably just put him in a coma to keep mafia-involvement to a minimum, but that still leaves the fact that he knows he definitely isn't a normal person. And the fact his fighting style would more or less revolve around creating illusory weapons from Mist Flames and supplementing them with Cloud.

Uh... If your character isn't in the Mafia yet they shouldn't start out strong. And we're pushing Flames to later on lol.

basically you want the introduction arc to be like the varia arc of the anime, where the rings are rightfully earned through trials. I'm assumjng we're skipping all the boring everyday stuff like the first 20 eps of the anime, and focusing on the core training of the guardians and the boss.

Nah, we want character interaction/bonding. So yeah, we will kinda follow the first 20 episodes but we aren't spending too much time on it.
