Name: Fiore Spada
Age: Fifteen
Gender: Female
Country of Origin: Italy (Verona, Italy)
Role: Student > Subordinate > Eleventh Sun Ring Guardian
Flame: Sun
Weapon/Fighting Style: When anticipating a fight, Fiore stretches openly, often infuriating the enemy. Perhaps it is her intention, for she always has the same taunting grin on her face right after, but, when questioned, she always says it's just because she wanted to stretch. Before doing anything she thinks will take some effort, she puts a caramel candy in her mouth. For some reason, this act always seems to elevate her fighting. Sometimes, she also mocks the opponent by putting her hands behind her back and merely dodging his attacks. Her overall method is rooted in causing mischief by making the opponent angry at her. Her actual weapon, which some enemies never even end up seeing, is the bagh nakha, which is a weapon that is attached to a set of leather gloves she carries. These simulate a big cat's claws and have been crafted to rip through skin and muscle easily. A weapon she has also been seen to use after moving to Japan is the tessen, or metal fan. This is used mainly for defensive purposes, but a good knock on the head with it would certainly do good damage as well.
Appearance:
Fiore is a girl with strawberry blonde hair that goes about two inches past her shoulders and warm amber-brown eyes. She usually wears long-sleeve shirts with dark-colored skirts. When it's cold, she wears woolen stockings, which also tend to be light-colored. She always wears her dark blue cat vest and beige boots all of the time for unknown reasons. She's on the shorter side and relatively petite, though her build is not necessarily frail. Her
twenty-five-year-old self has darker hair (as the natural course of things would dictate) and usually wears darker colors. Her signature cat vest has been switched out for a black hooded shawl. However, her feline theme remains in her new leather gloves, which have bagh nakha (cat claw) attachments. It is unknown to most why her affinity for felines exists, but it's served her well so far.
Personality: This warm-haired lass is rather catlike. She likes to sun herself and stretch out and eat. Her favorite passtime is going to a little café to eat pastries, drink a little coffee, and take a nice nap afterwards. However, also like a cat, she is suspicious of new faces and doesn't like to be too friendly at first, but will eventually warm up and be especially affectionate. Fiore is prickly and fearsome when angered, which is rather easily. She goes for focused attacks to incapacitate her enemy quickly. Alarmingly, she becomes calm as suddenly as she angers, meaning that she could go from placid to enraged and back within the hour. Incidentally, she also has little care for damages and a surprising lack of remorse for destroying the property of others and often clumsily knocks over some family heirloom and skips out on the damage costs.
History: Fiore was born in Verona, Italy to a normal woman and a mafioso. This woman was a gentle one who happened to fall in love with her father, an inner circle member of a small-time mafia family. When the girl was born, the mother raised her to the age of three before divorcing the mafioso because the life was too hard on her. After the divorce, Fiore's father became bitter and harsh to his daughter, insisting that she was a no-good leech of his resources. The poor girl was trained hard every day to hopefully become an expert mafia member herself, but she was never good enough for her father (and not really that great at fighting in general). At age eight, the girl was sent off on a trip to train with the world's most successful mentors. Even after all that training with her father in Italy, all she really wanted to do was tend to her dear cat, Ricardo. In Iran, her harsh mentor killed the cat to show Fiore that the world was harsh. Only then did the girl get really empowered to fight, even if only to show her mentor that she couldn't just mess with her like that. So, even though her fighting skills were horrible, the girl did try to fight. In India, one mentor finally got through to her by realizing that she needed to be trained with a weapon that would speak to her soul. So, after instructing the girl on how to use bagh nakha, she excelled, surpassing all other students of that mentor at the time. At age twelve, she was moved to Japan to learn how to insert finesse into her style. After perfecting her cat-like fighting, Fiore was introduced to the fine art of using a fan for a weapon. Intrigued by the concept, Fiore trained for a year with the tessen and finally became proficient enough to use it. When questioned about the strange mesh of weapons, Fiore merely shrugs it off, but the reason lies in her last heirloom from her mother, a delicate fan. While her reason for using both weapons differs, the Italian girl has a passion for both weapons and has shown herself to be fearsome in battle. Her apathy toward actually dueling in the first place could use a little work, though. Fiore moved back to Verona at age thirteen and, after being rejected by her father, she taken in by her childhood friend who had just recently turned eighteen. They moved to the floating city of Venice to get a new start. Fiore was enrolled in school there so she could finally live a normal life and, even with most of the day being devoted to training in her past, she did still receive schooling materials and melded with the school lifestyle surprisingly easily.
Overview: Fiore enjoys napping, candy, cappuccinos, pastries, sweets, sunning herself, and milk. Catlike, she enjoys causing mischief and will not shrink away from making a few enemies here or there. She's fine in battle, but her apathy and indifference towards it block most from even realizing it. When about to do something serious or when she is going to fight at full capacity, she eats a caramel candy. It is unknown why, but this makes her battle capacity increase (probably due to some psychological attachment to the candy). She has lived all over the world to train, but has only recently become a decent fighter, and moving on the waterways of Venice was never touched on. In Venice, she lives with her older childhood friend in a small apartment.
