Fallout: War for the Commonwealth
Our Story...
The Commonwealth finds itself overwhelmed. Along with the Institute causing the trouble it usually does, yet another technologically superior group has entered the Commonwealth, calling itself The Brotherhood of Steel. Entering the skies with a giant airship stationed above the old Boston Airport, The Brotherhood have come here determined to find something it seems, but no one knows what apart from their members. The Railroad are becoming more ambitious in their attempts to "free" synths from the Institute, so much so that a few fights that have broken out among the night are rumored to be the Railroad's handiwork. And with rumors floating around that they are taking on new members, there is only one thing that is shared among them all; "Follow the Freedom Trail."
Even through the chaos, The Minutemen have remained a strong and reliable source of help to the people of the Commonwealth. A large number of settlements scattered among the wasteland were founded thanks to their help, and all are connected via trade routes and Minutemen patrols, making sure that the roads are as safe as can be. But despite their best efforts, the Nuka-World Raiders have begun to take territory in the Commonwealth, completely ransacking settlements and turning them into their own outposts, while enslaving others, forcing them to provide food and other resources for them.
"Things are grim. Most of you, if not all, volunteered for this mission, whether you're from our town here or from across the Commonwealth, because we need to keep our land safe. All we know for your mission so far is that you are to head to the Castle, where you'll receive you briefing. Work as a team, play it safe, and all of you should be able to return to your homes. Everyone, dismissed."
After this meeting in the bar of Tenpines Bluff, everyone decides to meet outside the gate to begin the trip to the Castle. You all can decide where you want to start off around the town, I'll leave the shortened tour of the settlement here and here. Feel free to make pre-existing relationships among yourselves, or even me, and tie them into your backstories! When you guys are ready, throw your Character Sheets here in the OOC first so I can approve them, then we can move them to the CS tab.
