Everyone believed that Saeril was born as a creature of chaos and pure evil, but they just do not know the true story. Rather than a woman who is evil, Saeril was instead a benevolent young woman of purity; she valued the peaceful nature on Middle-Earth, and she had a fierce passion to support various realms and their inhabitants. A greatly-unpredictable individual, Saeril is a desired perfectionist, and a woman of her word; for even the most vulnerable of races, she focuses on finding the best intentions for them, even if it means to risk her life.

From the despair of her devastating past, following the Deceiver's corruption upon her mind, Saeril is truly hurt and very lonely inside, interpreted by the guilt of her cruel and malicious actions. Since then, she feared her other persona "Maleficent", a psychopathic representation of Sauron's control over her, who wished to wreck havoc from time to time. The ultimate goal was to redeem, and dissipate this inner darkness from within.

However, she never anticipated this goal to be a challenge when she rekindled herself with her Dwarven godsons, Fili and Kili, whom she'd grown to care for as her own children. Despite herself being closest to the youngest, Kili, Saeril was absolutely devastated after witnessing Azog kill his older brother. Determined to keep the youngest from falling into the same fate, she became frank and strictly protective of Kili, going so far to keep him alive, and stay by his side throughout his many ventures, though she may not always agree with them. Her connection with her youngest godson became so strong, others knew better not to cross her if there's damage inflicted upon him.

Saeril will not hesitate on giving others her blunt opinion, and she would often guide them when they are upset, or in need of advice. Proud and proper she is, she will never bow to anyone she disagreed with. Evident by her relationship with Thorin Oakenshield, it's complicated when it comes to terms of trust; she betrayed him (as he claimed) by revealing the truth of the quest, and by "stealing" the starlight jewels from his treasure hoard for King Thranduil. Although she was claimed as not "trusting", Saeril openly showed that she cared a great deal for him, saving his life multiple times on different occasions.

Ghent's family was very often poor and lived in a lower part of a small, poverty-stricken town. His mother passed away shortly after giving birth to her second son, Garth. Ghent was ten years in age when she passed.

Ghent's father turned to drinking heavily and he came to blame his children for the loss of his wife. Fearing for Garth, Ghent took matters into his own hands; at the age of thirteen, he took his younger brother and left home, never once looking back.

Life on the road was not an easy one, but Ghent was determined to tough it out so that they would not have to return to their father. At first, Ghent began with petty theft; he stole what was needed in order to keep them alive, they took shelter where they could and lied whenever questioned. As the years went on, they moved up in the world. After years of practice, Ghent became a highly skilled thief. This was the start of a life he would live well past his teenage years.

Ghent has an eerie calmness about him and his emotions are seldom ever shown. Because of this, he is very difficult to read -- almost impossibly so. Ghent handles matters in a diplomatic way and doesn't often resort to violence unless necessary. For the most part, he is quiet and reserved, therefore much of his past is unknown.

Deep down, Ghent does have a heart, though he does his best not to show it. He'd be the last to admit it, but he has a soft spot for those in need.
