@Nariata I'll have something up today or tomorrow. The idea I want to use is an adaptation of the character I made for my first RP on this site (she hasn't fit anywhere since then).
What I want to do is (sometime after the dragon escapes and looses hell with it) my character is captured by a necromancor looking into ways to increase his own power. He experiments on her with the intent to see if a human could utilize demonic powers. The result of these only sort of successful expirements ends with a demon being trapped in the under layer of my character's soul. The upside of which is that my character can utilize some of the demons abilities (with varying efficiency) but it comes at a cost. The demon while not in control of the body can exert some control over my character's psyche in the form of suggests and temptations. Only my character can hear the demons voice.
Does that sound like something that would work? I would of course elaborate more in the CS but just as a base concept is it viable?
At least you have the most room for character development, and you get to try and complete your mission by bringing these monsters out of the dark and into the light!
UPDATE TIME: I have the first draft of the IC post complete. I need to go back and fix the flow as well as add in detail, but the gist of it is there. Tomorrow in between classes I will attempt to finish and post.
To be clear my character isn't evil, or good. His life mission is to study and understand the more taboo magics, especially from his tome.
Hah, the necromancer my character gutted has one up on you. He used black magic to give a human demonic powers, sort of, you'll see. Also she and him, so not gonna be friends.
Its not evil! its in the name of magic understanding! i feel like you guys are really making mountains out of mole hills. Whats one or two non-magic plebs and turning my former allies into animated corpses among traveling companions!
Also @Prince of Seraphss I had an idea I wanted to run by you. I'll message you in PM if you're cool with it
Alright folks, I may be able to get the IC post up TONIGHT *Cue the band*. I will also hopefully get the Religion, calander, and the War lore up as well.
Race: Nomada, Also known as horse lords, are a tough subspecies of human, they have learned to live off of the bare essentials including limited food and water. It is not uncommon for them to go days without eating. From centuries of living on the prairies and in the lower foot hills they have adapted hard and lean bodies, their metabolism much faster than their other sub human counterparts. They grow to roughly 5’10, and weigh around 150-170lbs. Their culture is centered around strength and honor. If a member of the Nomada gives their word, the person will fight to their last breath to uphold it. The warriors wear the bones of the beasts and men they’ve slain into battle often crafting simple and mostly ornate armor, along with their bone armor they paint their entire bodies white except for their eye sockets and the under side of their nose which they dye black. The Nomada worship horse gods and view them as divine beings sent to them as a gift from their gods to help them in their hunts and their battles. They grant almost zero hospitality to outsiders and only just for the Great King Baelnorn. He promised them eternal glory and food to last a hundred winters. During the battle with the mad king, the Nomada arguably suffered the majority of the losses as they were offered as a vanguard, their warriors mad with battle lust.
Appearance: His skin is the color of ash, from a cooled fire. His irises are the color of charcoal. Dark and powerful his gaze causes lesser men to avert their eyes. Small creases like crow's feet have formed around on the outside of his eye sockets. The bridge of his nose broken by a long past battle. Jasdgal’s lips are paper thin, and his chin small. His face carries a gaunt and narrow look. His body slender from years of malnourishment, and hardened from years on horseback. He’s clothed in thick furs, brown and grey for the winter. While in the warmer months he wears a tunic made from hide, and trousers to match. Before a battle he dawns his armor and paints his body. His helmet made partially from that of a goat of the plains, its long twisted horns jutting behind him, the face guard taken from the skull of a man. His chest plate hardened leather decorated with the sternum and ribs of a wild cate, the back a spine from a wolf. His thighs are decorated in loose hanging finger bones. Finally around his neck teeth are displayed to all crunched together to make room for more, all of armor set tied together from dried human sinews.
Personality: Jasdgal is often seen as comical and, skeptical of everything the outside of where he was raised. His comedy has been known by a few to be somewhat off putting and gruesome. He views those outside his clan as lesser beings and often pokes fun at them, and their customs. Before battles he goes into a trance like state talking to no one, eating nothing and doing little to prepare otherwise. Out of his trance he’s cold and calculating showing that he’s far more intelligent than others would have previously thought.
History: Eldest son to the Great Chief Imbacto, he grew up like the other young in the Nomada. Learning to ride horseback, shoot with deadly accuracy while mounted and in full gallop, fighting with the custom short sword of his people and wielding their deadly lance’s tipped with iron heads. By the time he had reached sixteen he already had fought in countless raids and skirmishes between his own people. He had ventured with raiding parties deep into the Firen, Galmhoth, and Lavas territories. And killed many rivals in duels. By the time he reached the age of twenty-two he had amassed a large herd of horses of his own, and was considered incredibly wealthy. He was thought the Great Khan of his time. His own wealth rivaled that of the tribe’s chief and as such, and out of respect gave many of his own stock to his father Only to keep the peace between him and the chief. He was only one of ten thousand warriors who volunteered to go with the King Baelnorn, more than half of the Nomada’s military force. He lead them in countless battles, leading from the front. He was the first in and last out of any battle they entered into. They were extremely lethal and efficient at what ever task was imposed upon them. During the fight with the mad king he lead them in a daring charge against the enemy force. Mad with bloodlust they clashed with the enemy and soon became bogged down. Soon the battle turned into a bloodbath. With the mad king corned they fought to push forwards taking heavy casualties. Regardless of the loss of life they fought on with the ferocity of demons, many of them looking the part. When the dragon appeared he last almost three quarters of his men. He sounded the horn for retreat and even more men fell as they pulled out with the remaining army. He sent the last two thousand warriors back to the homeland to his father and out of shame he went into exile. For the next week he carried on in no particular direction, his soul had been crushed by the defeat and his honored wounded severely.
Equipment: Ornate Armor, Lance, Short sword, Recurve Bow, Quiver with arrows, Small supply of food and water, Body paint white and black, and his horse.
Other: Renown light cavalry leader, he or his people would be easily identified. Master Horseback Archer, and hand to hand fighter. Known to be savage and ruthless during a brawl or fight.
@Nariata Here's my savage warrior, for later introduction
