Nikko sniffed the air and could smell it too. He did not know he had that good of a sense of smell until he actually had to learn to use it. He crouched down and followed Cyren movement for movement not making a single sound.

Cyren was proud of Nikko. He then stopped. "..Alright..I believe one is outside of the small den. I want you to get it. I will go for the one not too far off." Cyren then changed course slightly, to go after his prey.

Gumu saw a few grasshoppers and tried to catch as many as he could. He managed to get three. "Three for me!" He laughed as he looked for different bugs to chase.

Nikko nodded his head and got a little closer to the rabbit with out scaring it off. When he felt the most comfortable going after it, he jumped and landed directly on top of the rabbit biting it in the neck.

Kalina smiled as she managed to catch a butterfly then a grasshopper. "Now thats 4." She said laughing as she slowly moved the logs to bring more out.

Cyren then picked up his speed before leaping into the air, claws extended as he pinned the rabbit under his paws. Then, he bit into the rabbit's neck to silence it. He brought it back to where he and Nikko had somewhat split up, and sat down as he dropped the fresh-kill.

Selina looked at him and nodded as she looked up at Crimson and then back at Roho as she said "So, how much training have you actually done then Roho?". Crimson just listen to the two cubs talking as he carried them back to the eastern land. He thought about how he could give them a heads up but he knew he could not.

Gumu was having so much fun with Kalina. He followed her as she went closer to the logs. "Having as much fun as I am?" He asked as began chasing and catching more bugs.

Roho looked at her. "I would have to say I got to do some climbing. If he hadn't told me to get on that rock, we would never have found you." He looked up at his trainer. "Right, Crimson?"

Nikko ran over to Cyren with the rabbit he got in his mouth smiling. He dropped his rabbit in front of him smiling. "I did it!" He said happily.

Kalina smiled when he asked if she was having fun. "This is so much fun! I thought no one else would like to chase bugs as much as I like to." She said smiling as she caught another beetle in her paws that tried to fly in front of her.

Cyren smiled. "Great job. Let's go show your mother." He said, as he gave Nikko's hair a ruffle with his paw.

Nikko smiled laughing when he brushed his hair with his paw. "Okay!" He said before picking up his rabbit and heading back to Artemis.

Artemis was laying down on the rock next to the King enjoying the calm breeze taking in the scenes of the beautiful area of Pride Rock. She never got the full chance to take in the beauty and perfect land that their pride had in their control.

"Same here. I used to think I was the only one until you and your brother came along." Gumu caught two ladybugs and a rhino beetle. "I've never had a sibling. Not that it ever bothered me." He stopped after a few moments so he could look at her.

Kalina smiled as she caught a grasshopper before looking over to Gumu. "It is nice to have a brother but he always wants to do things by himself sometimes... I am just glad I have another friend besides Nikko. At my old pride...no one would play with me. Everyone thought I was too weird and too shy." She said looking down and digging her nails into the dirt.

As Cyren walked back with Nikko, he looked at Artemis, stopping in front of her. "Your son caught dinner for himself and Kalina." He said, as he gave Nikko a nudge. "Show her what you caught, Nik."

Artemis jumped down to see what Nikko killed. He dropped it in front of her wagging his tail. "Wow Nikko thats a great job." She said licking his forehead causing him to laugh. "I knew you could do it." She said smiling at her cub then back at Cyren.

Cyren gave Artemis a soft, shy smile, before he nudged the rabbits together and looked at Nikko. "Is there anything in particular you want to learn right now?"

Kisari smiled at how well Malaika seemed to be doing. The cub didn't seem to understand why her mother wanted to play Chase, however. She doubted Maisha gave the full explanation on her reasoning behind the game.

Artemis smiled back at Cyren brightly. Nikko thought about what he would like to learn. "Well actually I would like to learn tracking. I can somewhat tell what an animal from smell but I have a hard time figuring out where it went." He said knowing it would take a while to understand how to do that.

Gumu moved closer and sat next to her. "If it helps, I don't think you're weird." He was attempting to cheer her up. He didn't know if it would work or not, but it was worth a shot.

Kalina smiled when he said that and felt her cheeks get red. She laughed trying to hide her face from him nervous of what he would say. "Thank you...That really helps actually." She said smiling softly at him. This was what it was like to have a friend. She never wanted this to end.

Cyren smiled, before he sat down. "That would be better to do in the morning, when the animals have traveled to new spots during the night. We can do that tomorrow morning, if you want."
